This is a good place to go for repairs or part for Semi-trucks. Doesnt matter what you drive, though it is a Kenworth dealer. Shower, laundry, at shop,, and walking distance to a restaurant/hotel from the shop. Usually the same people, all seem pretty decent.

I find people are just friendly in Montana if they are from there! It’s truck repair you’re never in an out at a good time. It seems you’re never close to food or a hotel that’s decent but these guys will give you a ride downtown where the food and a good hotel are waiting and they’ll come back and pick you up if you need, Service manager Mike was new like a breath of fresh air was very tentative and friendly, good luck in your new job Mike!

I brought one of my trucks into the service department for some electrical issues. I had it there two days before it was even suppose to be in the shop just to make sure it was there and ready to go when they needed it. Three days after it was suppose to be in the shop I decided to give them a call to see what they had come up with because I hadnt heard anything. No one that I had spoke with had any answers but said I would get a call back. I never received a call back from the service department, so after a few days I called my Kenworth sales rep and one of my mechanics called the service department looking for some answers. Turns out they never removed the keys from the truck and just assumed we had come back and took our truck back home because the keys werent inside their shop. Mind you it was sitting right outsides their doors whole time, if they would have just looked. Now the truck has been there over a week since its scheduled start date and still has not been touched. A few more days have passed and I still have not heard anything so I proceed to call my sales rep again which finds out for me that the service department tells him they cannot do anything with the issue because they believe it is in the programming of the ECM which is different. Still at this point I have not received a call or any answers without first calling myself or one of my mechanics calling them. I am now forced to call another shop in Missoula and see if they can get my truck in to try and resolve the issues. I am an hour and a half drive from Missoula so a bit inconvenient to try and get my truck from one shop to another. Thankfully my KW sales rep gladly agreed to help me out and bring my truck to this other shop for me. After being at this other shop for a few days they call me to tell me that they found a bad fuse and another bad fuse connection and have taken the truck for multiple drives and cannot get the truck to have the issue anymore. I still receive a bill from Kenworth for a CECU reflash for several hundred dollars which I pay and thought this nightmare would be over. Wait not yet, a few weeks later I receive another bill for almost three times the amount for the same truck and same CECU reflash. I then contacted my sales rep yet again since he is the only one that will take care of anything for me. I told him that the first bill had already been paid and they somehow billed me again for the same visit for three times the amount of money and they needed to figure it would and terminate that invoice. He said he would relay the message and they should be in contact with me. I have been doing Business with Kenworth sales Missoula since the 80s between Williams equipment and Kenworth Sales I own 27 trucks all Kenworths we spend aprox 1,000,000 dollars worth of sales with them between New Trucks [5 to 10 per year] service and parts plus body shop in those years We have had a pretty good relationship but The last month their service department has been the worst I have seen In all the years I have Done Business with Them totally unprofessional Their new service Manager Does not Know Brake Can from a Fan Hub and when you ask him a Question that he has No Idea what your talking about you ask to talk to the mechanic and Refused to let me talk to someone that actually knows what they are talking about. In the last month I have tried to get 5 different trucks in to get work done and did not get 1 of them in I had to take them to Peterbilt, Transport Equipment and Motor Power in Billings and 2 more this week to Billings. All these trucks were bought at this dealership I feel That is unacceptable. We usually try to get the trucks home to get work done here where the know them But costumer service seams to no longer matter. I have 4 new trucks coming in by the end of this month I hate to say it but it maybe the last as when I buy new equipment I need too I Expect to get service work done on them. When the shop is at home. I have spoke to several other trucking co owners in the area and they all feel the same as we are a tight knit group here.All i can say is i hope That someone in The organization act like they truelly care about their costumers and fix this problem fast. sincerly Done Right Trucking inc dba Redgo

Brian and Donald, the mechanics, took care of my problem, and also took the time to explain it to me and also changed some parameters. Absolutely great guys. Latasha, the service coordinator, was so nice to deal with. This is the dealer to get your truck worked on. 5 stars.
Sat 3 days waiting for an hour repair. Someone brings their truck in after my third day and was escorted to the shop before mine was ever looked at. I would recommend anywhere else in missoula.

I am very disappointed I received a response from my last review post stating that someone from the district service department or the district manager would be contacting me as to my issues on Friday and I havent received any response from any of the above to this point also 1 of my new trucks arrived in on Monday I stopped in to look at it and both windows had been left wide open in the parking lot for 24 hours not a good way to try to keep a loyal customer happy airlines just thrown on the deck plate if you want pictures I have them there are some big issues that have to be addressed in the service department when I have to take a truck to the bodyshopto get things the service department was supposed to do

Took longer than I was hoping but job was done right and that is the most important thing, secondly service counter dual was very friendly professional and I believe takes very good care of their customers. Hopefully they stay a while. I would definitely recommend to friends
I go in the have my truck fixed they fail to order a part that cost 2 days extra. I get my truck back and I noticed a primary air issue. Upon inspection I find a slice in my air bag. I called service to find out the service manager is on vacation and I am told that he probably will not be able to do anything until the service manager gets back. I also emailed the district service manager and he didnt bother to respond at all. I then called the service manager over a week later after not hearing back from anyone and was told he want at his desk to please leave a voicemail so I did. He didnt return my call either. After 15 years of doing business I really am fed up. If this is how you choose to treat your customers over a 171.00 dollar air bag also which is less expensive over at T and T. Your not the only place in town to have a truck fixed or get parts from. The total lack of customer service combined with the rest of the experience has really left a bad taste.7/9/20I wanted to add that since my review that Kenworth has taken care of the problem. I flew from NY to MT to buy a T680, the salesman told me it had 550k and was listed with 550k miles when i got there it had 647k, 100k more miles!!!!! He also said no oil leaks and everything is good to drive back to NY. Steer tires were worn out weird, oil leaking, check engine light was on, truck was shaking while driving it! I spent $1000 on plane tickets there and back!! Waste of time and money and have no truck! Very disappointed!!!
I would like to take a moment to say thank you the parts team at Kenworth Sales. They are knowledgeable, friendly and go the extra mile to make sure that my shop is taken care of from ordering parts for Mack, Perterbilt, Freightliner even International. If there ever is a problem I know I can call the parts manager Richard at his desk or even on his cell and know the problem will be taken care of. Hands down the best service from the parts department. I have a shop in Corvallis almost 50 miles away. and I always get my parts on time!! Even with the whole covid thing slowing shipping down .

If it has five star plus, Id definitly pick it! How bad it is to be replaced four new batteries and three hours of labour, eventually the problem is still there; and how lucky we are here to have Donald, professional, warmhearted, generous, time efficent service gentleman, help us back on the road within 30 minutes and really save our day. I will definitly recommend Kenworth Missoula and will come back again!

Ok place...didnt do what I told them to..still had air dryer problem, did work they wanted to... tried to overcharge, got bill knocked down form over $600 to just over $400. But still have a bad air leak at air dryer, going to have to go elsewhere and get check valve replaced like I told them to do☹️

They won’t cover shop labor or parts 500 ft off the lot. LitterallyHad them hard wire elog in the correct spot there was no power to the slot.Had to pay outside shop to fix their fix.I have spent 50k this year in their dealership plus my new 2020Total over 230k.The body shop cut into my new unit without authorization. We’re still dealing with them.They also told me that it was unfortunate circumstances.This a few reasons why I am giving them two stars.I’ve complained to the crew and again their response sorry sir unfortunate circumstances.I haven’t heard back when I told Paul I might have to cancel next years 2021.I love the trucks like the people.I can back up all my complaints.

Stay away from this place, I bought a 2011 KW T660. It was a lemon, The sales person Paul Holmes knew all the issues with the truck. They almost put me out of business. My best advice is to stay away from these crooks!!! The truck didn’t pass the DOT inspection at Mercer even though they said it passed at the shop at the dealership. I had to get a new alternator, almost $2000 in hoses and fittings, a new front tire, and rear brakes. This was all before even getting my first load. Stay away from this dealer and their shop!
