This frys was not as good as I wanted and expected it to be. I’ve been in multiple different fry’s and I expected. I was hoping that it was more of a universal standard. I went looking for a few standard electronic items and they actually had 0 of the 4 items I was seeking, items I found on their site.I walked the whole store obviously confused because I couldn’t find what I wanted and not a soul came and asked me if I needed any help, in fact not a soul said anything, not welcome, not thanks for coming, not can I help you.Overall I’m not particularly satisfied with the store in presentation, service, or stock. This place could use a revamp big time. I probably won’t go back here, I’d rather go almost anywhere else.
I came in to purchase a freezer and sales was super friendly! I havent been to Frys in years and the store has changed dramatically when it comes to inventory. The salesman said it had to do with online shopping having increased in the last couple of years plus Covid 19 as well. So if you go and see something and can afford it, buy it. It may not be there when you go back. Attached is the freezer I purchased and was one of only 2 they had on the floor. Also, they delivered it same day! Thanks Frys for a great shopping experience!!
Its so nice to see the Frys Electronics store here in Las Vegas with no clusters of empty pegs unlike some stores in the Bay area. All these stores have a theme. This one is a slot machine, of course. Frys is the place to go for anything electronic and more. Just off Las Vegas Blvd south of the Town Square shopping center. A good place to spend all your gambling winnings on a new camera or ????
Not just electronics anymore! Holy cow, a variety of goods from across the board, even a little cafe. A good place for one stop shopping. We found everything we were looking for, and a little bit more. Plenty of sales associates around, and enough cashiers to keep the line moving. Lots of parking, and close to the freeway.
Really tough place to find help or assistance from employees because their staff is bare minimum. You better research and know what you need to buy because you will have to go on a scavenger hunt to find help or to find what you are looking for.At least they are easy with returns if your item doesnt work.Sad to see how this place has declined since their optimal days of years past.
Its kinda a sad place - being a hugeeeee building it made it more obvious how empty of customers it was. They didnt have stock of the 2 items I wanted, but had really friendly service. Nostalgic for Frys back in the day, still friendly place, not sure how long theyll last stocking all this lower end electronics.
Walked the entire store and only saw 1 employee besides the cashier. It has a lot of empty space with a bunch of stuff you dont want. The popular PC parts are either not in stock or not there. The office supplies was probably the best kept area.
I was heartbroken to hear about your closing. I remember how exciting it was when you opened your store years ago I would ride my moped across town just to be there. I will visit one more time today so I can say my goodbyes and pick up something with your branding. Love ya Frys thanks for the fond memories.
If I were to say a few words regarding the electronics of Frys electronics, i wouldnt have much to go on. Almost 3 years ago, this store was a hot spot for a number of electronics, motherboards, CPUs, etc. Everything that can be built from the ground up basic PC to every day household items for cleaning, upgrading and otherwise improving your rig.Car electronics were apart of their inventory, digital cameras and a wide display of equipment was out early and often. Seeing the photos below, the store hasnt aged well and this location is certainly on its way out with the inlfux of Amazon, which can sell everything listed in a store and even in some small online shops such as newegg. While Im not completely sold on everything being bought and delivered from an online retailer, I do trust small items and consumables that a drive to the over price brick and mortar can rarely provide. Stocked in between aisles of needless and overwise old technology (PS to serial cable???) I found my spot for what I had been in the market for some time.Ive been shopping monitors for a while and the entire wall as pictured looked similar. All of the monitors available were shuffled to a corner wall without any reliable pricing or details. Pricing tags had misinformation and incomplete digits. Even misspelled words as if these were done on some ones free time.I couldnt tell which monitor from another and the abhorrent conditions made me cringe as I left the store. The entirety of the organization is wrecked from CDs thrown into random corners and water bottles and Gatorade left in sales stalls. There is absolutely no reason to even browse their stores for stock as the current gutted attempt at organizing leaves little but a distraction from its once glory. Sad to say but Frys is looking similar to going the way of circuit city here soon.
Used to be a treat to go to Fry’s and check out all the cool components and parts. At one time it was a great place to find almost anything you needed. Now: my last visit ever. No customer service, no selection, rude employees, prices not marked, packages all a mess. Looks more like a second hand thrift store
I called to find out if I needed an appointment to bring my computer in (I have a plan on it). The phone rang for 7 minutes and no one answered, it sent me to a voice mail. I called again, and got a person who told me the Service Department was open. I was nearly there by then, so I went in and the Electronics Department had a sign saying they were out temporarily. I waited at the counter. A tech finally came up and said he didnt have a chord to plug my computer in so he could test it. He wouldnt even look into the computer for my name, he just said, I needed my papers. I was the only customer around, and he was unwilling to help me in the slightest. I was very unhappy with the service person. I have been to this counter before and had good service. Today this did not happen.
Yikes talk about falling from Grace. This place used to be amazing, built so many computers in the past buying directly from them. Now this is like something foreign living in the dead carcass of what it used to be. A huge chunk of the store is blocked off now and I want to say more than 60% of the merchandise is not even electronics. Almost no name brand merchandise and the remaining employees that actually still work at this dump of an establishment are highly rude and really do not want to talk to you. I truly hope that this place gets to have a solid but Swift death soon because seeing it as it is now is just sad.
Great electronics store! Has just about everything and there is cool Vegas pictures on the walls! Check out the large slot machine on the front of the building.
Had to pick up a camera charger. Found a good deal online, placed an order for in-store pick up around 4:30PM, was able to pick up before they closed that same day at 7PM.Store was incredibly empty. Im not sure if its been like this or if I just got lucky.
Frys was definitely different than any other electronics store I’ve ever been to it seems kinda like it might be out of date but has some very new and higher end things in it as well... maybe I’m just not use to the brands that they carry either way the store is huge and has all electronics that you might need and probably a few more even. The store is very clean and employees are helpful
As always, cheap and fast! A very large store so if you need help sometimes it’s best to find someone at the desk at the front to help rather than walk around :-)
Update 9/29/2020 0 star rating: went back after the whole pandemic issue, store looked like it was shut down but it isnt...yet. I went in hoping to buy some gaming stuff for my setup, the employees seemed nice at first and payed no attention to me but as soon I was taking pictures of items to do a price comparison/item wish list I got quick attention and somewhat aggressive response and they wanted me out of the store. My support for this store after this went out the door for these people and this is my last update. I will not be coming backAnd yes the store is barren all items are push upfront to give the appearance that its full, good luck finding essential computer components, just fans, cases and gaming chairs. No CPUs,no RAM, no laptops, only 2 outdated graphics cards and I mean OUTDATED....plenty of generic stuff you can get at walmart for cheaper.Update: 3-15-2020 4 star rating. Store is still alive and their shelfs are full again looks like their not doing as bad as the other stores. This was a nice place to buy electronics but since their shutting down most their locations by 2020 this place might survive after all, but note its not heavily stocked computer components as use to. I uploaded recent pictures in this post.
Its sad but Frys is simply a graveyard of its former self. You cant find anything and half the store is closed off on the inside. I used to enjoy shopping there but Im probably finished with them. Sorry Frys.
This store is great. You can find anything electronic here.
My favorite electronics place in Vegas. 10-15 cars in the parking lot in the middle of the day on a payday weekend Awesome. I dont know how well that holds up for frys as a whole but makes my trips there painless, smooth and fast. Hope the company can make ends meet we have to have some competition to the other larger retail chain.
Cool stuff, but this looks like its going out of business. Half the shelves were empty.
First time at Frys in a long time and I must say that they have been hit hard by the pandemic. Definitely not what it used to be. It was sad to see because it was my go to place for anything electronic.
Staff was not friendly at all. I asked where an add item was. Associate made me feel that I was bothering her. Her response was I dont know if we have it you have to look. When I asked where to look. I dont know just look No wonder the store has no customers.
This used to be THE place for electronics and appliances. Now its a dim shadow of what it once was. Sad really. Nice sales people. I wish it could come back strong.
This store is my favorite electronics/tech store in Las Vegas. The current pandemic has kind of made things a bit challenging for a lot of businesses and yes it has done so here as well... However this store is probably the best resource for electronics/computer related products. Also if you are into building/repairing/upgrading computers both PC, Raspberry Pis, surveillance cameras, network installation etc.. you can get most of the necessary components here. Whats also nice is that the staff here is usually knowledgeable about the products being sold and helpful to customers. If you are Ok with signing up for/receiving email specials the store sends out daily deals in an email where you can get information on daily specials and weekly specials. And yes you can order online and pick up at the store and it will let you know if the specials are available locally and can be picked up of or delivered online. The store is well laid out, spacious and its a great place to look at a physical product before you buy. In the days of online shopping this is one of the few places that actually employs locals and also currently offers price matching(please confirm this). Its got really competitive prices and in some instances even better prices than most online or other local shops. Its conveniently located for both Henderson and Las Vegas and also for Visitors to Las Vegas (specially for tech supplies) that one might not remember to bring in or would like to get before traveling (its situated close-by to the McCarran airport - can make a perfect last minute shopping resource when its open). Also the location has got many other interesting stores all around it.
I took my laptop back since I got the warranty for it and they said that they cannot repair it as it is due to being used. It cannot be closed as the case is coming apart. I was told that if I buy the case and give it to them they will repair it and charge a fee of $150.00 for the repair. It is not right what they are doing. They broke another persons laptop and said that they did not do it.
Went to purchase a particular product, I checked on line, showed they have it. Went to the store the employee said they didnt carry any. Showed them the website showed they did. Surprising how little they know about their inventory.
Frys has great customer service and awesome products and amazing pow prices!! Keep Vegas strong shop your neighborhood stores!!
This place is the best store for electronics.
Frys Electronics is to a Computer Geek as Harbor Freight is to a DIY guy.. (Unless you somehow bufgeted for everything you never knew you needed until you ran across it (frequently I refer to this as oooh... shiny... disorder) because even when it is well out of my price range I will still take the time to research it even though I know the funds will never be available for me to purchase it
A mere shell of its former glory. Starting about a year ago (Jan 2020), they stopped bringing in new stock. The shelves are basically filled with whatever junk was in the back storage. No laptops, computer components, monitors, TVs etc. Recently about 1/3 of the show floor was closed off to customers. Its quite bizarre to see sales people acting as if business as usual with customers browsing the wasteland. The only upside is the electronics component section is finally organized. Dont waste your time.
Marlon was very helpful in helping me by answer quite a few questions that I had about cpus and motherboards. Not only was he very knowledgeable about the products that he was selling and giving me very solid recommendations, he was very reasonable in helping me determine which parts to pick out for my build, even going out of his way to tell me about parts that weren’t even available in the store. I learned quite a bit from my trip to Fry’s, and the prices are usually quite similar to those that you would find online regardless. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing assistance with electronics!
Frys use to be the place to grind great electronics, but now its not. They still have some stuff to look at and buy but not like before Covid-19. If youre looking for general items you should be ok.
Went to find a simple item. Only found grumpy employees who could care less what you needed. I was lucky to of tracked one down because they are just not up to being found. The shelves are empty unless you were looking for hand sanitizer, they had enough and very expensive. When the virus leaves town, they will lose my business. I was going to purchase a new computer but will go somewhere where they are nice and helpful. Sorry, they get no stars!!!
Most the items in store tend to be dated technology. Many items are not priced. They did not honor their price match promise when I found the item I purchased for one hundred cheaper on Amazon. It was the product manufacturer selling the product as well. One staff member was incredibly insightful while most the others were the opposite. Ive had to return almost everything Ive bought here because of the dated tech or because it simply did not work.
Wondering if this store is preparing to close. Im not the only one. Overhead another customer ask this question. They have a decent selection of electronic accessories and an extremely helpful staff. I really miss the Frys that I used to shop in.
What happened guys?! This place has virtually nothing left in it. Although it looks like they have gone out of business, a cashier told me that they were not and just remodeling. The customer service is just foreign to this place though. No one around to help you and the cashier was very unprofessional.
My brain nearly overloaded. The amount of tech and parts in this store is crazy, I love going here to upgrade my PC and also to look at things I cant afford. Frys Electronics is basically computer heaven. Best place in Vegas to get PC parts, better than best buy.Recently though a lot of things have either been put away/sold or taken off shelves. Covid seems to have taken a toll on my beloved store.
The store looked like a ghost town. No computers were on display and no TVs were on display. Very few employees were working and not many people were shopping. We actually asked if they were going out of business. Not sure whats going on.
Scaled way back from the fun colorful product filled store of old. Minimal off brand selections with almost no employees anymore. Sad and scary sign of the times.
They have no stock, no employees, and are none helpful when asked questions. Store is pretty much empty as if they are going out of business..... horrible
Too big, hard to find assistance. Never found the part I was looking for and gave up
Great place for the Gadget nerd in you! Always a fun time for me.
Looked so empty . . . rows of soda drinks and water:-(
Everything you need from a Little wire, surround sound, LCD & LED TV to car stereos everything under o e roof for very Affordable prices for everyone!!
OK, this place is clearly hurting from Amazon, Walmart and the general state of big box retailers... the store looks pretty empty and in places a bit abandoned. It’s a giant warehouse and I usually only see one employee on the floor... which isn’t that what they are known for? Great service? Also, the last cord I got from them was cheap and didn’t work. However, that being said, somehow somewhere on their half empty shelves I always seem to find what I’m looking for. If you are looking for a random cord or piece of audio or computer equipment and you want it NOW. It is worth taking a look. I am a total millennial… I love Instant gratification and this place keeps me from waiting for Amazon to deliver. Keep your receipts though... like any cheap electronics they are prone to break or not work.
I used to love this place and now it is falling so far dont bother going.
A MASSIVE ELECTRONICS STORE! They have just about all of my hobbies. 3D Printing, Drones, GPU Mining, DIY Electronics! The prices are not that good though. They are pretty expensive. But the store is pretty cool to visit.
Great as always! had the Galaxy S3 tablet in stock :)
These people NEVER show you where something is at & now I have been waiting for then to pull a screen from the back & l am on my 4th guy, waiting almost 30 minutes. I hate this store!!! It is also a very common thing for them to run advertisements of in store only sales, that they never have in stock. Very frustrating and very common at this store. Dont fall for them trying to get you in the store with these false advertisements.
Horrible. Just horrible miserable phone cutomer service. 20 minutes to not be able to ask a few questions about a $1000 laptop. Frys and Best Buy are as pleasant to deal with as it is to close your hand in the car door. At these two stores customer service is DOA.
Love this place. Hate what covid has done to it. Unbelievable friendly and helpful customer service agents. Found literally everything we were looking for in minutes.
Frys was OK because I was able to find and purchase what I needed. However, the store is a shell of what it used to be. Many of the shelves are empty and staff were not available. The place had the vibe of a business on a deathwatch!
I hadnt been to this location since it opened over 10 years ago; went back last week. I didnt know they dont carry name brand electronics & NO samsung cell phone compatible accessories.
The store itself is very well managed and the prices are very fair. However it lacks the consistency of customer service that really drops the rating down. One day I will be getting help and advise about different parts, components, and products. While the next visit might have employees out right roll there eyes if I had a question about what items are in stock, and have seen other customers be ignored at the customer service desk and so. Other than that a great place to find pc parts and electronics just lacking consistency
Sad to see it like this. I grew up loving to visit. Now its just an empty shell of what it once was.
Only giving one star i tried going there to build a pc they had hardly any parts if your looking to build a pc avoid this place dont waste your time I remember when this store use to be fun to go to
So heres the deal. Why do CEOs get paid so much? Because their decisions affect the health of a company. Frys tried to do consignment. Total failure. Looks like a cold war Russian grocery store.
Customer service I dont think anyone in the store knows anything about it. Ask for a little help from two employees they had to finish the conversation first after 10 minutes I was ready to and the best part of my experience at Frys ask the man working the door where I can find another electronic store he told me the name of the store asked him where it was and he told me to Google it.. thats is a pretty good one .. when your already p-off not that funny at the time.. keep up the great job of running people out of your store ..Its a job do it
Honestly, theyre going out of business without doing a big last bash sale and going out with a bang. Theyre dying slowly and its depressing. This used to be my Go-To for computer parts and peripherals Mostly offbrand items now. Picture is what used to be the laptop and desktop displays. This was at noon on a Saturday, not just below closing like it seems. Its depressing.
This place is awesome! So muuuch stuff.. Plan a few hours if you shop here!
I get the fact that the world is having a hard time restocking things but this place was empty!! And there were hardly any associates to assist you. I had to go searching for someone to ask a question. The service department is great though. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
One the the better computer / electronics stores youll likely visit. You are able to ask the staff to price match across competitors, resulting in the best price. While they might not be able to beat eBay / Amazon on all things, the ability to browse, ask questions, read is invaluable.Good service. Good prices. Massive selection.
This is a very nice store, I wish all the departments were open.
Post-COVID-Frys is depressing. Only a third of the store floor is used for product and its pretty sparse at that. Still has some great selections for computer, office, audio, mobile needs.
Workers are rude! You would think in the middle of a pandemic people loosing their jobs left and right, they would appreciate having a job or customers coming to buy!
Huge choice of copters, drones and various robots. A lot of consumer electronics of all types and categories. There is always something to buy here. One of the last islands, staying alive under heavy Amazon disruption.
First off, the people are nice, and the store is clean. However the shelves are empty of everything but overstock accessory items. There is no reason to come here other than to buy different cables at the same cost monoprice. That and phone cases.
They were awesome and very helpful. I didnt have the receipt and they were able to find my purchase and received my refund.
Often overpriced and limited selection of electronic components. I walked out and ordered a large assortment of zip ties on eBay for half the price. Other stuff they didnt even have. A waste of time.
Big store but not much inventory? I’ve been to the stores in Arizona and it is definitely a different vibe here. Helpful but short staff and not much organization at this location.
Man, I love Frys and I hate to hate on them, but I needed a heads up display for a car and a new radar detector. Stood about 3 feet from an employee standing in front of his computer, talking about lunches, leaving for the day at 5, answering his iPhone. Held this $450 radar detector for about 5 minutes, and walked circles looking for heads up display for at least 15. Not a glance. Finally ordered the HUD for in store pickup and got a better radar detector on Amazon. Worth the extra $50. Still 5 stars. Frys is always great. One off experience doesnt sway hope great they are.
Could not get a compatible laptop charger for the laptop I bought there
The staff kills it! Always able to go in there with the bare minimum information and get exactly what I need. Covid should have no effect on this place because we are mostly reclusive gamers, but sadly they closed the cafe. This is truly the one stop shop for anyone who needs anything.
Good prices on AT&T go phones, wish they had a larger selection on magnetic phone charging cables. Associate that assisted us was helpful and directed me in the right direction for product I was looking for.
This is a large brick and mortar store... Good temperature, acceptable prices.
I go to this Frys whenever I go to Vegas. So much stuff!
Seriously, everyone should shop here! Better prices than any Mall store, Sams club, or Costco! This place is HUGE and filled with surprises at every turn.
Well the lines were short but they has mismatched tags and we thought what we were getting a good sale and they werent. So the clerk went above and beyond and got us the sale price. Unfortunately we stood there for 30 minutes!!
Ordered for online pickup. I was informed it would be ready in an hour. 3 hours later went to check in. Store basically empty. No one grabbed the item yet. Lazy staff or just nobody is being trained what to do. Just dont ask them for help, do your tech research online
You can ALWAYS find amazing deals on just about everything at Frys.
Great customer services. I was able to find a specialized cord with some help. Unfortunately, shelves are somewhat depleted due to the Pandemic and our trading with China. But, under normal conditions, this would be the place for all of your electronic and computer needs. Hopefully, they will get stocked back up!!!
Huge place and large selection very organized and room room to shop and park I wish they have a place in NY NJ
Wow, what happen here? Not sure if it was covid or just down sizing. There were tons of empty shelves in all the departments. No staff anywhere and it felt like a store about to close or go bankrupted. 3 stars because its still family owned.
Its just sad now. Nothing like it used to be. Best buy is better for anything pc related

Products seem a little outdated and isles are empty. I can see why they are going out of business. The prices arent bad though, but who needs blank CDs anymore. Frys has a whole isle of those things.
This is an ok place nothijg special. Almost all employees are very helpful and nice but the place is like an empty warehouse. They have been like this for 2 years now. If you want pc parts just order online.
Got what I needed. Store is huge... so it took a little effort to get to those things.
Wow! More than just electronics! I wanted to go down every aisle and see everything! My husband says from now on Ill have a time limit when going to Frys...
