The new management is absolutely great! Carla in the office is very helpful and deserves this 5 star rating. The service is AWESOME! Thanks Carla! I would recommend this place for anyone to live.
This place is a hidden gem for sure! Nice quite complex. Friendly neighbors and the staff is amazing! The application process was so smooth, I was approved and moved in within 3 days . Maintenance is super quick as well. I highly recommend Tompkins Cove! Also like they have an app to download to take care of maintenance requests and to pay the rent. Nice job team!
Unorganized. They dont know how to send anything with information in order to make the process smooth, I was going to rent an apartment, and I was happy cause my work is 5 mins away, and they dont want anyone to come near them. I drove by during my break and called, they said they will send a virtual tour. I waited and nothing. So I started the application regardless and after their application kept glitching and took me a while to apply cause I do work, well it said the unit I had requested was unavailable. Waste of time. Money matters first to them. I was taught how to give great customer service and thats by being more attentive to peoples needs. Dam like help out a little. Anyways, I didnt pay to sign the application fee, psst, and this is an ongoing problem everywhere. do not send money unless guaranteed there is an unit.
I’ve lived in the Villagio a.k.a Tompkins cove for about two years now and I advise anyone in the market for a good apartment “DO NOT LOOK HERE”, management is a absolute and utter joke. If you like to be respected as a human being I strongly suggest you keep looking. Management is new everyday, good luck getting the property manger on the phone, and if like your appliances fixed in a timely manner you should put in a repair order before your things start to fall apart ( and trust me they will) neighbors are racist loud and ghetto and the police are here often my advice is KEEP LOOKING.
Peace and blessings to the property manager, Ms. Steel and her family, a manager who goes above and beyond. Near by stores, etc., and schools are in close proximity. My children and I have lived here since 2014. Merry Christmas to you and your family, Happy New Year! oxox!
Villaggio is the 2nd complex I have lived at with this same company! I’m blown away with their care for the residents and for the quality of the property. Staff seems nice however I work so often I don’t get to spend much time in the office but they are always helpful when I have had a request to fix something. Over all I can honestly say I have been very happy here!
The complex is small, quiet, affordable and well maintained. Convenient to everything. Management is very understanding too. All in all, a really good choice for decent people who are tired of the shoddy construction, pretentiousness, deception and exorbitant rents and fees these new apartment developments bring.
I loved living here! My apartment was beautiful! And my neighbors are fantastic. I would deffinitely renew my lease again if i wasnt moving in with my fiancé ❤ their maintenance AND front office is really good by the way! They know how to get the job done.
Rent is great for the area and they are making improvements to update the exterior and the units. That said, pros stop there. When I first moved in, they had a great lady working at the front office name RArchet. At the time I toured I thought the location was excellent, which it is, but the complex itself was nothing to get excited over. The price, location and integrity of RAchet is what made me decide to rent here.A year later RAchet was unceremoniously let go, new management took over, and the improvements are only skin deep. The buildings are newly painted and the units are being upgraded, but dont let that fool you. It only looks nice, but the units are stale and the office staff extremely rude and condescending. Not including COVID19 limitations, it is difficult to get a work order fulfilled. And when it is, its a shoddy job. I submitted an order for a leaking toilet. Rather than repair it right away, I had to wait 48 hours for maintenance, and they simply loosened or tightened some knob and while it no longer leaks, the water pressure is extremely low. In the meantime I had 5 soaked towels on my bathroom floor to catch the water. I have submitted 2 separate work orders to fix the vinyl flooring that is peeling up from the kitchen and bathroom floors (as a result of leaking water). Maintenance just super glued them down and they starting peeling right back off 4 days later.Residents from the nearby fixed income housing still use our parking lot to park their cars. There seems to be a domestic disturbance every other night, but nothing is ever done about it. And there is no consistency in who you speak with at the office at any given time. They are just all rude.Forget trying to talk to someone who is courteous and professional at the front office. Ask a question, and you can expect condescension, attitude and an overall lack of concern for the people and property theyre tasked with managing.I can only hope COVID19 will lower rental rates in the immediate area because I cannot wait until my lease is over. Looking forward to living in a community that is aesthetically appealing, affordable, and thats managed by an office staff that doesnt treat their tenants like theyre doing them a favor by deigning to do their job.
I dont live here but some of my family does. We visit frequently and have found it to be a quiet apartment complex. Its close to lots of stores and eateries.
Great apartments in Las Vegas. The 2 bedroom apartment is perfect for us.
I have lived here since May 2014. Great staff and well maintained complex.
Updating my previous review. Living here was fine. Moving out, was a different story. Moved out in June and I knew there would be some repair charges after leaving. July comes around and I realize I never got a call about about paying those repair charges . Phoned the office and was informed that any charges over 500 were to be sent over immediately to collections immediately adding an additional 300 in collection charges. Was never offered to set up a pay plan or even informed of charges so I could pay it off in full. I was then notified that if I made a few payments to the collection company I could get the 300 waived . My husband and I made two payments the following two months ( July, September) and when he called the office he was informed by Arshay that she would contact the collection office and have them remove the additional 300. She also informed us not to make any additional payments to them until she got the charges removed. Weeks fly by I’m getting calls from the company about payment and keep bombarding the apartments with calls and voicemails asking my calls to be returned so I know whether to proceed payments and in full. I finally called the apartments 3 times on October 18th with once again no avail. As soon as my husband got home I dialed once off his phone and was immediately picked up . Makes me feel as if they were avoiding my calls. My husband confronted Arshay about the collection and supposedly being removed from collection and having the 300 removed and her only response was to say ‘oh I meant to get back to you we actually can’t take it off you have to pay it in full’ so what was the point of leading us on for months with no response ? She was not apologetic in the least bit so I do not condone my husband for being snippy at the end with her . Two days later I paid the 700 remaining balance in full. I clearly had the money to pay off the 800 in full as soon as I moved out. I felt that I unfairly was posted an additional 300 without any chance to pay it in full and was ok with paying it originally until I was offered to have it removed only to be led on. Not once did I try to run away from paying what I rightfully owed but I felt that the option of having the 300 should’ve never been presented if it wasn’t possible . I would’ve just paid the 1150 upfront.
Hi my name is Fatima, we found this apartment complex on Craigslist . We toke over a 2 months lease of a lady who brought a house . August and September . We were going to renew to sign up for another year but I changed my mind. The lady at the apartment office, we e-mailed her on the 4th of September to let her know we are not renew moving out, we are not going to renew the lease. I live in California paid first month . We kept on emailing, Rachel steel start to treat my daughter name Aminata because the apartment was for her . I spoke with her at end of September, emailed her that we are not going to stay, she told my daughter she is going to put a lock on the door . She called again the last Saturday of September we were on our way to Vegas. We already informed we are moving out . She said she needs the keys get out or Im locking out the apartment today ... I personally sent her 3 emails about 30 days notice . She blocked as to pay online because I told her my daughter passed her text and is going to the military. She was very disrespectful, rude, arrogant, and very uncooperative. We lived in the apartment 4 days . For the 2 months, it was a security deposit from previous tenant that we toke over the lease. The rent is $835, .. I called her to pay online she informed me that she toke it to collection and have me number to call. We cleaned the bathroom we lived there only 2 weekend it was the same way she gave to us . I called the Clark County collection agency she gave me, they told me that they dont have anything yet... I called her again she gave me another number, she refused to take last month rent, she said its after 3 days notice.... I called another agency she gave me, they told me its $3300 because I did not give her 30 days notice .. I have all the emails and the calls we made during the month of September. I personally had a really bad experience. I feel discriminate against my national origins. I will file a harassment law suit and discrimination complaint with fair housing . Her only intention is to destroy my daughter credit because, I told her we are not renewing the lease and she is going into the military. I want to talk to the supervisor, she never wants to let me speak with none of them..... The apartment complex is quiet did not get a chance to leave there, I wish they have professional employees and better customer service...
After moving out of RK Properties’ Villaggio Di Murano Apartments in Las Vegas, I inquired as to what had become of my $250 cleaning and security deposit. I was told that I would be getting none of it back, because the carpet was “too dirty to be properly cleaned” and because the paint showed signs of wear. When I pointed out that I had lived in the dwelling for nearly 5 years, and that wear and tear should be expected, I was told that the wear and tear was excessive. When I inquired as to what RK Properties considered the normal lifespan for carpet and paint, I was given no answer. Suspicious, I researched the subject and discovered that the lifespan for both carpet and paint in apartments is about 3 to 5 years. Based on this evidence and my past experience with other apartment managers and their policies regarding cleaning deposits, I have to conclude that RK Properties’ unethical goal is prevent tenants from getting their cleaning deposits back.
Impossible to get a hold of the office in any way, the numbers listed send you to another number, which then sends you to another number that doesnt even have anything to do with the apartments. Need to update your information!
