I’ve been living here for about a year now and I just renewed my lease for another year with Penny. I signed my first year lease with Jonathan who was fantastic and made the move in process seamlessly easy amidst the beginning of the pandemic last year. The place is beautiful and very well kept with great amenities. I love the fitness center and how clean and organized it always is and the resort style pool and spa and clubhouse. The apartments are beautiful with new appliances, washer and dryer in every unit, modern cabinetry and most have stunning views.Penny is the current manager who took over the property a few months ago and she is absolutely great! I was originally planning on leaving for the Veer Towers, but she reached out and helped find me another apartment within the building that had everything I was looking for. Penny cares about retaining good tenants and she was transparent and completely accessible throughout the process in making my move to the new apartment quick, easy and accommodating.10/10 all the way around if you’re looking for a new place to call home.
Have toured this place so much and the staff were unbelievably fun and helpful. Anyone interested in this place should consider it fairly. Would be very easy to justify any rent increase in quality of the staff, amenities, and community. I worked with Brooke, Penny, and Santi and they were absolutely incredible.
This building and staff have been absolutely amazing and beautiful. Every holiday they have celebrated it and invited the whole building. I really am happy here. All the amenities are super clean as well!
I love living at Fremont9 it is the best building in downtown. The staff is cool and care about everyone who lives here. If you want to live downtown this is where you want to be. Shout out to Santy & Penny.
Beautiful apartment complex! Ive been visiting my friend who lives here for a while now, this apartment alone makes me want to move out to Vegas! This well maintained complex features a pool, two different varieties of parking lots and secure entrances. Located next to the iconic Atomic liqour and right on Fremont, this is living right on the famous DTLV strip
We love living in the Fremont9! While it has taken a while for the amenities to be finished they are all top notch! The pool is amazing and we expect the gym to be just as awesome! Our view of Freemont Street and the Western Hotel is one of the best in the city. Staff is friendly and fun! No need to worry about pests or roaches in the sparkling clean establishment. And security is above and beyond amazing! Worth the extra $$$ for the luxury. We live in the smaller of the two studios and think that $835/month is more than reasonable (also the sunsets are out of this world)!
I enjoy living at Fremont 9 in Vegas, Im speaking on behalf of all of the residents of my building. We are very disappointed at the lack of commitment that management has to take care of the amenities. I understand that covid happened and certain amenities were not available to use. Somehow it is not an excuse for your company to not fix, the pool, hot tub, grills, the coffee machine, and BBQ. we are tired of complaining about it and the next step text will be taking legal actions. My neighbors and I agreed to post more than 100 reviews explaining the LACK OF COMMITMENT that your company has. I moved into this building with the hope that everything worked but I hate being lied to. I am a digital marketer in Las Vegas and I know how much companies care about their reputation. I should not even have to be reminding you guys to fix stuff, you guys should have a Maintenace person who has a checklist and supervises everything at least once a week. It is unfair that as residents we get excuses, excuses, and excuses.... and we have to pay full price for rent of amenities that do not work. I think that Avenue 5 is a perfect example of scammers....
I love living at Fremont 9.I’ve been here for 2 years, since it first opened and I enjoy being able to safely walk everywhere. The building is well maintained and the staff truly cares about its residents. The price makes it affordable for me being on a fixed income. I found my forever home.
I just moved in this place a month ago, and my experience so far has been amazing!Building/Structure: I heard this building was built about 2 years ago, so you can pretty much expect everything is almost in new conditions. I go to gym and workout at least 4 days a week, and all the equipment is working fine and always maintained clean. I never used other amenities (Pool, Party Room, and small backyards) but I see that they are also clean and well maintained.Neighborhood: I havent talk to that many people in this neighborhood yet, but I have only seen nice people so far. I havent seen any loud party going on, no drug odor, and no rude people.Security: Since its a one apartment complex building, you need a key card just to enter the building. And then, you will have your own key for your room as well. There are garage and high fenced parking lot for your car.Room: All the furnitures and household electronics are working great. You will have a lot of cabinets and storages already set up for you. The only furnitures I needed were a table/chair and a bed.Staff: Another my favorite part of living in this place. From the beginning of my home rental browsing and till this day every staff members were so nice and supportive. The only cons I have so far is that the street gets loud sometimes at night during the weekends, because its right next to the downtown. But I am still giving five stars because I already expected this before moving in.
One of the most nicest places that Ive ever stayed in. Great👍 views & interesting neighbors.
I initially gave this place 5 stars (on the first day that I moved in) then 2 stars after living here for 2 months... Now down to 1 star because Fremont9 has continued to disappoint. I’m updating my review again after living here for 5 months. Here you can read my complete saga of what it’s been like to live at Fremont9. . The place is advertised as if it’s a cool/hip place to live downtown… or in Fremont9’s words “Fremont9 is a groundbreaking mixed-use multifamily project on 1.3 acres in Downtown Las Vegas.” Most of the people that work here are super duper nice and the outside pool/grilling area is very nice, but for me these things alone aren’t nearly enough to validate this place. The problem with this place is with the man behind the curtain who has a double standard as to how the residents are to be treated/handled by Fremont9... And how Fremont9 is to be treated/handled by the residents. For example... As you can read from other reviews... Fremont9 is notoriously and consistently late with things... From the opening date...to the opening of the pool, sending bug exterminators to your room (that was 2 weeks late)...the gym (which still isnt open and was supposed to be ready more than a month ago)...etc...so theyre always late...fine...but they have the gall/audacity to bring the hammer down hard on residents for being late. I was a few days late paying rent (by accident actually... Its a long story) and instead of a warning or something like that...i get a letter from their attorny threatening to kick me out in 5 days...unless i pay the rent now...plus 100$ in late fees... Plus 50$ more (so 150$ in total) for sending me a letter telling me that i was late.. Haha.. Yes youre reading that right... I had to pay 50$ for recieving the letter... Keep this story in mind if you consider living here. From Day 1, I was led to believe that the fancy looking gym (that you can see on their website) was going to be opened imminently. Imminently came and went, and soon again basically all of the residents were told that it would be open… very soon, again, repeat again, repeat. As month 5 rolled around I began to realize that I was about halfway through my lease and gym was still not open. Residents have been told that the reason why it still isn’t open is because it keeps failing inspection (supposedly it’s failed inspection 3 or more times)…which I found peculiar. I asked myself, how could such a big, ‘groundbreaking’, expensive (as far as the rent goes anyways) place not have their sh*t together on this? After you fail an inspection once, doesn’t the state/inspectors tell you what you need to change/fix in order to pass the next time around? About 3 months into our lease I was told that although the gym still wasn’t open that they were going to make up for it by paying for us to use a gym down the street. I thought to myself…ehh.. I don’t realllly want to do that, but that seems fair; and Fremont9s attitude is basically take it or leave it buddy so what choice did I really have? So I go down to this place (that they were calling a gym) and it’s basically a big empty room (as you can see from my photo below). I wouldn’t by any stretch of the imagination call that a gym… would you? As my grandmother used to say… you can pour syrup on Sh*t, but it doesn’t make it pancakes.allAnyhow, the name of the place is called “10th planet downtown Las Vegas”… and it’s actually a jiu jitsu dojo that also has cardio style classes. To tell the truth… IF… IF what you want to do is jiujitsu or cardio classes… then this place is fantastic (the staff there is very polite, professional, and knowledgeable about their craft, and other residents who’ve gone there generally have positive experiences). But… it’s not a replacement for a ‘gym’ in the sense of the kind of 24hr facility that I was supposed to have access to.Alas... Im out of space ( but not out of stories) see my wifes review for more.
Soon to be renamed Fremont Homeless Shelter-------
Ive stayed at the F9 last week and I honestly dont understand the negative reviews... I guess some people just like to complain.Everything was very impressive - from the 24h accessible amenities (gym and a pool to name some), through a great location, to super friendly and professional staff (Sokha - keep doing what youre doing).Overall I had a fantastic experience and if I was ever planning on moving over to Las Vegas, living at the F9 would definitely be something to consider.
Shout out to Ariana and Sokha for how helpful theyve been through the moving in process. Great facilities, great space indoors, and great location in downtown - couldnt be happier. Would recommend this as a Tier 1 option in Vegas!
Since my first post (1 star) a couple of months ago the Fremont 9 staff have turned it into a first class Las Vegas establishment. The property is beautiful and staff professional. Nice Job! Looking forward to becoming part of the community.
Making a move to Fremont9 has been the best moving experience to Las Vegas. Sokha, Jonathan, Danielle and Ariana are all great! And the facilities are all top notch..
Office staff is really nice especially Jonathan, love my apartment! Definitely recommend living here.
This place is a breath of fresh air. It is phenomenal and well built and Ive been security here for the last couple months and I tell you I would love to live here
Let this be a hard lesson for all of you that sunk any money into this place before they even had artwork of the floor plan for this place. They said this place would be move in ready back in fall 2017 during the summer. Fall comes and now its January 2018. Then spring. April for sure move in for you poor souls that got fleeced out of your money. Now move in is August or September. Where are you people even living? I hope your leases are flexible enough when this con show finally delivers. In what universe could they have built this place in the few months they advertised? A year later and the only consistent information theyve given out is how exorbitant their prices are and how to get you to part with your money quicker.
Brooke and everyone else at F9 where rad and got me sorted with my new apartment nicely. Highly recommend!
I just moved from San Diego, CA and I LOVE living here! From the friendliest staff in LV to the beautiful amenities. Sokha and Danielle are always willing to roll out the red carpet, to give residents the best experience. I’ve been here since October 2018 and wouldn’t live anywhere else.I have to say that living in the middle of DTLV is so much fun... having a resort like pool is phenomenal and a gym for champions steps away from my apartment is what I would call living Vegas To The Nine!Thank you Fremont 9 for making my move to Vegas an easy transition.
I have never lived here. But I day dreamed about it.. It seemed like a good deal.. And still does. Despite all the negative feedback- I am a big fan of Fremont9.. Never lived there, have not been to Vegas in years. Just felt like leaving a positive comment. Cheers.
Wouldnt get your hopes up. I love DTLV and thought this would be a great option to staying downtown. All the amenities and the layout seem awesome but, the opening date kept getting moved back and the price is ridiculous. They offer a lot but, nothing different from most buildings downtown. Dont let that line get you! $900 for a 350 sq ft studio?!?! Whatever, you miss me and everyone-not-moving-to-Vegas-from-Cali with that one.
Been on the waitlist for this project for what.....8 months now. Responsiveness is awful and nobody seems to know whats going on. I was really in love with this project but its been going downhill real fast. Leaning towards pulling out of this cluster
Lackluster is the best word to describe this place. Insanely overpriced for Vegas. Yes, they have amenities but no they are not special and you can find them at any other “luxury” apartment complex here. $1000 for a 500 sqft studio... plus $200 a month for a parking spot in the garage, $100 for a covered spot, or wait it gets better! $20 a month for uncovered city parking! No thanks, I’ll go to any other high rise downtown and pay the same price for a loft double the size where the garage parking is included in the price and the flooring isn’t vinyl.
Very Cleanly, Awesome Staff, and Amazing Amenities!! I love the free coffee in the entertainment lounge!
We love it we will like to move here soon
Living here has been a bit of a disappointment… my husband and I regret it… we both like the inside of our apartment and the location but it pretty much ends there. Too many things have either broken here and have taken too long to fix… or sometimes amenities that we are supposed to have… we don’t have. The worst thing about this place is that it doesn’t have a gym. We moved into this place in October 1st of 2018… and there was a very rosy picture painted as to when the gym would be ready. We were led to believe by Fremont9 that the completion and opening of the gym was imminent. I’m sure that the rosy picture that they painted helped them seal the deal and sign up a lot of new residents…afterall…who in the year of 2018 would move into a super duper expensive apartment complex with no gym? My guess is nobody. Anyhow…to make a long story short…weeks passed by…then months, and we were told soon again…soon soon…so soon now…righttttt around the corner now... and…..here we are..more than 6 months later (nearly halfway through our lease) and the gym still isn’t ready. Someone has clearly dropped the ball big time here (either that… or nobody has dropped the ball…but we were simply being mislead from day 1)… logically speaking… one of those 2 things has to be true and we’re not exactly sure which one it is. What we are sure of however is that we (my husband and I) are the ones to lose out because of it.Clearly no matter how you dice it… Fremont9 is accountable…however they don’t want to be held accountable. A person/company with integrity would pony up some money to its residents to join a gym until their gym is finished… but they refuse to do this. However that’s not to say that they aren’t throwing the residents a bone…they are…but it’s the bone of their (fremont9’s) choosing. It would be real nice if that bone had been comparable to being a ‘gym’. Now they would probably contest that and say that actually they are offering it’s residents temporary access to a gym… but what they’re actually doing is redefining the word gym. To them a gym can also mean an empty room… where you can do yoga, kick boxing, or jiujisu (classes). Haha.. very creative with there with the definition of a gym, and an excellent PR maneuver I must say… surely it’s working on some of the residents…but for the rest of us who simply want to have what we paid and signed up for… it doesn’t cut the mustard..It would be equivalent to an apartment complex advertising that they were going to a volleyball court… but they don’t have one…and they feel as though they’ve properly compensated for it by putting up a ping pong table. Well… that is probably acceptable to people who like ping pong just the same…but not for the people who don’t. The fact that I have to explain this makes me all the more disappointed as it makes it all the more obvious that I’m in the situation of either take it or leave it… which isn’t a situation that anyone wants to be in.
Fremont9 was high on my list to scout as Im looking to move into the downtown area but after seeing a surprisingly low rating and reading the negative reviews, Im shelving the idea. Since I havent seen Fremont9 myself, its not fair to rate the property but no stars isnt an option. However, the treatment of current and past tenants by the property management is a red flag for me. A little piece of advice for management, whether or not youre at fault for any wrong doing, learn how to properly apologize. Clearly tenants both current and past are disgruntled. It doesnt behoove you to be condesending towards them. Thanking them for their review is noteworthy but phrases such as Im sorry you feel that way comes off being ingenuine and not proactive. Amongst the other things I read, i.e gym and pool not being complete within 5-6 months from opening is unacceptable. It shows lack of planning and inconsideration towards tenants who have paid for these inclusive amenities. Even more absurd is charging $50 for a late payment letter which maybe is only .50 to send. Understandable there may be a fee to be drawn up by a paid legal professional but I doubt it cost a total of $250-$300. Nickel and diming your tenants goes to show how management resembles a slumlord- tawdry and desperate. Not a good look for a supposedly cool hip luxury apartment complex in an up and coming area. Thank you for allowing me to share. No need to reply. Just be fair and kind to your tenants. Wishing you much success in getting units rented!
Im so glad I moved in here. This is a place of happiness.
Well well what can I say, I have been here a few weeks and I love every second of it. I pre leased back in December and yes there were delays and the date got pushed back but I know how construction goes so I understand, I’m so glad I waited. Daniel was helpful from the get go and was on top of it (she was a army of one for a long time) and always kept it classy. My original apartment was one floor up, and Daniel informed me that if I moved one story below I would have a balcony, and that she thought I would like it, I was hesitant but i took her word, annnnnnd Im so glad I did, i have the best view of downtown and it’s always poppin. I enjoy living here so far and I can’t wait to explore downtown more, and can’t wait to see all the things Fremont 9 has to offer, and no one told me to write this, I legit like living here so don’t hate. Kayla and Sokha and Kayla at the front office are so personable and fun to talk to, I’ve only known them a few weeks but they always address me name and are always cheerful, mike the foreman showed me my apartment before I moved in and always asks me if I’m good when he sees me in passing. If you’re thinking of leasing here, you should!! You’re in the heart of it all, you don’t have to get in your car and drive anywhere, think about it, and that’s all.
Not worth 900 for a studio in the most crapiest part of townI pay 510 and live less than half a mile awayWhat a rip offAnd their one bedrooms start at 1200 at only 500sqft smh 😧😧
Getting any kinda of information or responses back is impossible. Choose a place that actually cares about residents and potential residents..
Who is gonna pay $1,285 for a studio?
Love it.
