Don’t waste your time applying here unless you’d like to waste $50 and never hear from them regarding your application. The manager Janice Lee is just as incompetent and unprofessional. I don’t blame the office staff for their poor customer service as it starts from the top. Poor management equals poor training and so on. These people will never reach out and make tons of excuses for not contacting you. Save your money and look elsewhere.

Great place to live quick responsive when it comes to repairs and the office worker Janice Lee makes it a pleasure to call for anything and paying rent.

Everyone was kind and helped us get in quickly but upon move in we discovered dead roaches that had dropped egg sacs from the baseboards in the bedrooms. We were hopeful that we would just need to continue treatment for newly hatched babies and that maybe they had an exterminator come out before we moved in but we recently started seeing adult cockroaches as well. I thought I finally found a roach free complex, but I guess its always too good to be true. Now were locked in for a year lease. We shouldve been notified of the infestation prior to leasing...

Resident From 2012-2015, in which a 10’x4’ section of the ceiling collapsed after 5 “repair jobs”, in addition to the pots and pans scattered throughout the apt catching more leaks. The AC was constantly going out and I spent all summer sweltering in 98 degrees inside with very thin glass windows and badly broken/ sun damaged plastic frames. I finally had to get legal on them and demand a portable AC, but after each poor repair they’d take it back and in a few days I’d need it again. One month before I moved they finally replaced the entire AC. The grounds were always littered with trash, mud, mosquitos and Pet feces.In 2017 I considered moving back into a 2bdrm with a roommate already residing there but the apt we PUT THE DEPOSIT DOWN ON was rented out “by mistake” and we weren’t told. They offered to move us into a very dim first level for a couple of months but it was damp-feeling and dark. Plus we’d have to move our stuff twice! We got the deposit returned and moved elsewhere. The two stars are only because the one bedroom with two balconies was beautiful and the pool/rec area is very comfortable. Just beware of a lot of in home and vehicle burglary and vandalism, loud 10 people living in 2 bedrooms, if you live facing the sun your apt will always be cooking, almost every apartment has a direct view into your neighbors and rates rising with every resigning.

Not allowed in office. Bushes not being trimmed causing problems walking down sidewalks, can’t see building number and can’t see parking areas. Property is very dark at night. Lighting turned off or not being repaired. Work orders show complete when nothing has been done. Lease requires 60 days move out notice! Who is going to honor a lease 60 days before you can move in? Maintenance staff is very good!!!

I like the area, the staff is great, and I appreciate the empathy and understanding during this world crisis. Id only like to see more attentiveness to tasks that pertain to the public property. Such as the complex gates, the covered parking lights, and stairs of the residents.

Our apartment smells like weed 24/7, loud music all the time, neighbors fight on and off screaming. Our dryer been out for almost an year now, no one fixes it, we have to run it three four times to dry out clothes. Flooring is shaky and no insulation. You can hear your neighbors. Smells like we live on weed farm. We have a toddler in the house she is inhaling second hand weed from our neighbors.

Ive lived at St.Croix for a year and a half now and I dont wanna live anywhere else . In that time Ive had 0 issues with my unit, and how quiet it is around, you cant beat it . The office, especially Janice are the nicest people to ever deal with . Janice has always a welcoming smile and always willing to help on any matter . I would simply stop looking around and come make St.Croix your home !

Literally too many things to list but some highlights are:Multiple stolen cars and thefts (luckily not mine but neighbors)Broken gate for months causing it to take upwards to 15 min to get in (also had to go to the office 3x to ask them to fix it and they acted like they didn’t believe me)Rude office employees (those who were there when we moved in December ‘18 were great but they switched shortly after)Workers on my roof at 645am more than onceLeaf blowers at 7-8am multiple times a weekThere’s more but just a quick warning

Ive been living here going on three months and the whole time Ive been here my AC has a raw sewage smell coming from it. Ive made multiple complaints Ive called an AC repairman a plumber nobody can figure out the problem so they just wont do anything about it.

Great living with friendly neighbors but the maintenance has yet to fix my dryer and theyve come 2 times for it already. They just pull it out everytime and then proceed to sayits fixed.

I am a current resident and I have been waiting to leave a review until I leave but honestly I’m too fed up. No one should rent here, and I definitely will not be renewing my lease. The management is careless and do not keep up with maintenance that matters like how it seemed for the past year almost every single apartment had a leak in the roof (including mine since December which is STILL NOT FIXED). My windows did not lock for about a week when we first moved in. The circuits always trip. Parking is terrible. However; they seem to have ever lasting resources to trim the bushes and mow the grass EVERY SINGLE DAY @ 8am. AND LEAVE THE TRIMMINGS ON MY DOOR STEP

This is the absolute worst place I’ve lived in my entire life. When we first signed our lease, we signed for a gated community. After moving here however, we found out that the gate (at the time) didn’t even work. As a direct result, our car was stolen. Along with quite a few others. Car windows on other residents vehicles were smashed and their belongings were taken. We replaced our car and tried to get on with our lives as best we could.Then our neighbors apartment caught fire and we were displaced. We had a nice, remodeled apartment. They placed us in an apartment that looks like someone has smoked inside for years and make us pay the same amount as we did for our newly remodeled apartment. The kitchen is so run down. The counters have been completely ruined by the previous tenant. The washing machine leaks and flooded my laundry room and kitchen. I sent an email through the resident portal and called the office. Nobody answered the phone but the recording said “if you have a maintenance emergency,” to call a specified number. I called and was immediately sent to a voicemail box that was not set up yet.The woman who runs the office has had no sympathy whatsoever. For the car; For the fire. Absolutely no consideration. Every concern has been met with a hostile attitude. If you google the apartment reviews, her name is everywhere because of the way she treats people.When I moved into these apartments, I was so hopeful. I was happy. Now I feel as though we have been taken advantage of and deceived in so many ways.

Just a few maintenance issues upon moving in.. Nothing that couldnt be fixed. Overall I love the place. My roommate and I say it everyday, we love our place!! It was a breeze getting into the apartment and the deposit was fair and reasonable. Thanks to Robin, shes so sweet, she had good vibes and was very helpful to me!

WARNING: PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE!I always take apartment reviews with a grain of salt and I made a mistake doing so when I moved here. I am also the type of person who doesn’t really believe in leaving bad reviews; if I don’t have something nice to say, then I don’t say anything at all. Today, I’m making an exception.The other tenants and reviewers are right: this place is horrible. It is 100% the worst place I’ve ever lived and I JUST moved in. I wish negative stars were possible. In fact, my dream is to see a tenant uprising; that’s how much I hate this place.Just to give you all an idea as to what is happening to quite a few of us living here right now-- we have leaking roofs due to the rains just a few days ago. I don’t mean small leaks, either. I’m talking massive. In my apartment alone there are 6 different places in our living room where both the roof and walls are leaking; full on steams of water type leaking during the thick of it. Our living room is destroyed along with everything that was in the living room.Management hasn’t done anything about this; in fact, we’ve been totally brushed off. We won’t even have contractors to us until Dec 2nd (thats TWO WEEKS from when this all started) and that’s with no promise to actually fix anything.In the meantime, we are supposed to continue living in our apartment, pretend like nothing is wrong, and continue to pay rent for a place that is NOT IN LIVABLE CONDITION.To be totally honest, I am not confident that our roof is going to continue to hold up and that’s pretty scary. Let’s hope it doesn’t cave and there’s no mold to deal with, right?Now, if management were decent human beings and actually did the right thing, there’d be no need for this review; however the neglect and conditions they are forcing myself and other tenants to live in is, in simplest terms, gross and despicable. I’m ashamed for them since they are obviously incapable of feeling shame themselves.Trust me, everyone, you all can find something so much better than this. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

Update: They have recently changed the lighting in the area and it is not as dark as it was before. Most of the items mentioned prior has been fixed except for a few things but overall I am glad the lighting has been fixed in this area for safety purposes! But there is one huge issue STEALING packages from your door and even if you explain to the leasing office that your items are being stolen consistently, they will tell you they can’t take the package and reject it on your behalf if it is UPS even though you explained how your packages have been stolen before to them which I find it to be highly inconvenient for people who pay rent here but must fear their packages will be stolen. They really do not care about anything but making sure you pay the rent ...everything else is on you as if you’re not paying rent to be safe and have your packages. It makes me really wonder if they observe the character of their potential renters prior to renting their apartments to make this community safe and to lessen theft by choosing people of good character. There’s also a pigeon infestation with feces all over the steps. I was told pest control will come after the birds created a mess on my balcony last month. They came and said that they have to speak to the office to be able to do what they have to do in order to keep the place that I am paying for clean it’s evident that it wasn’t approved and now I am surrounded by pigeon feces and pigeons roaming the steps! I lived here for 3 years 2015-2018 and when I moved in it was 775 and the apartment was very nice. When I moved in the manager was Denise and until she left the whole management of this place fell apart. Took them 3 months to fix the rain leak that happened. They raised the rent up to 1100 not including WST. They even tried to fine me for having dog poop in front and I never even owned a dog. It’s a nice place but until they get a manager who actually is a decent person, this place sucked other wise.Plus parking is by far the worst thing to do if you live in the back.

Update for water/roof leaks: has been 5 weeks and still no repairs or fix insight. Any time soon. Have tried working with Janice and Tammy. But they seem not to care at all cause Im still paying my rent on time every month. This is disgusting and pure laziness by Pinnacle, Janice and Tammy alike. I am currently working with the NV housing authority on getting this resolved asap!!!! It should have never gone on this long.Laziest, careless maintenance and staff in office. Had water leak in my roof for 2 weeks and literally had to fight and scream and call corporate and NV housing authority for them to take care of it.Here we are about a month after that. In 1/2/2019 @1am. (I just got off work and would at 8am. I spend 30 mins plus at the gate cause cant get it open cause its broke. After hours emergency phone is never on. Called security and they couldnt even get a hold of anyone. This place does not care once you sign the lease and move in. I will submitting formal complaints with housing authority and community owners. My gate card has never worked since I moved in and they just say oh just call yourself and let yourself in. Tonight that didnt work either.Becareful of signing a lease. Community has bad water issues and security gates never work right. Either stuck open or stuck close. Moved here in Oct 2018 and always had issues with gate.

I love living here I havent had many issues when we were under better management. I have been a resident here for 4 years. The only reason I am giving a 1 star rating is because we have new owners from California. They raised the price of my base rent to 770 a month (which is over a $100 base increase not to mention that new people are getting rent rates at 745) if I were to sign a new lease with them this does not include water and trash. Add another 40-50 bucks to that. When I spoke to the office which the staff has always been lovely they werent able to do anything because the Cali owners were not going to stand firm in their pricing. I have always paid rent on time and never have had a noise complaint. So i asked them to fix the problems I had with my apartment and that I would be more than happy to pay over 800 a month for a 720 square foot apartment because if I am to pay that much than it needs to be upgraded and made into more of a luxurious place. Not to mention Im 6 months pregnant. It is not the best neighborhood there are more police at the 7-11 at the corner more often then not and during the holidays there have been multiple breakins... so if you dont mind paying high rates for a bad area and an apartment that is not upgraded or renting from people who dont care about loyalty then by all means do so.

I moved in April of 2017 and moved out April of 2018. I rented a 1 bedroom 1 bath.The positives:The apartment itself was nice. 2 outside patio areas, fireplace, and a large garden tub. Nice walk-in closet space. I didnt have any issues with bugs or neighbors being too loud. There is a nice gym on the property as well.The negatives:I moved here from out of state and was assured prior to move in that a tractor trailer could easily access my apartment. When the truck arrived they couldnt get past the gate. Not to mention, I was given an apartment number but a week before I was scheduled to arrive it changed. I came with renters insurance the day I moved in but was still charged for their program (which isnt real insurance and doesnt cover your things). If you work past 4pm you can forget about parking anywhere near your apartment. The year I was there the pool was broken for the majority of the summer. The gate is always broken and it is impossible to get in touch with anyone when that happens.The worst of the worst:The apartment manager, Janice is about as unethical and unprofessional as they come. She is really nasty to almost everyone including her employees. When they started charging me for their renters program even after I gave them my renters insurance documents she refused to accept my rent payment because it was short the $8 that they charged me for it. It was a huge hassle to get it removed. I eventually wound up reporting her to the BBB for such unethical practices. When I moved out she made sure to nickle and dime me for everything including things that were listed on my original walk through during move in. I was overly excited to leave this place when my lease was finally up. The experience with Janice alone would make me never recommend this property to anyone.. ever.

The lady’s in the office are super nice but one I always get attitude from her. The area is clean in the front and looks like trash in the back. Someone has broken into my car 3 times trust I do t keep anything good in my car. The place is quite. Yet there way of “fixing things” are all just a cover up and break later on I’m better off fixing it myself than telling the office. I started at 760$ a month to 801$ now it’s that time to renew or move out they want 976$ if we renew and we are moving with paying that much I would rather have a bigger place like a house than pay 1076$ due to the fact is they don’t include trash and water in the rent. I have lived here for two years and it was nice at first now there prices are ridiculous and new management is super rude so we are done once the lease is up we are counting the days left.

Im a current lease holder here along with my uncle and, when we first moved in October of 2017, things were great! But as time goes on, things have gotten worse and worse. Almost every day Im woken up by the screams of neighbors fighting or the houses next door fighting at night time. The maintenance people almost always take their time coming to fix things too.To put it simply, in March of this year on the 4th, 3 people had come up to my apartment at an early time in the morning and had tried to break into my apartment through the window that is next to the front door. I had woken up and seen that theyd managed to take the screen off of the window and when I woke up to confront them, the people had taken off with shocked looks on their faces. They probably thought the apartment was vacant when it was really the apartment next to mine that was, which should tell you people probably squat in the empty apartments here.Just this past month too, my car was stolen from the lot. Thankfully I got it back the next day but that doesnt mean anything in terms of just how janky and weird this place is. Even when my apartment got broken into, the manager just said well did you call the cops?🙄Im trying to move asap because this place really has gone dooown the drain in terms of help, care and neighborhood. The whole place feels unsafe and we just finally got rid of our roach problem from the apartment downstairs after a year.So yeah, would not recommend.

UPDATE: Living here has only gotten worst. I’m pretty sure we have mold from a leak that was never properly fixed. They have also said I have two unauthorized dogs living with me which is weird because I have put both my dogs on the lease as service dogs.Aside from the front office people losing my check for rent which they left with an eviction notice on my door because of.. the manger is rude and not helpful what so ever. I have complained to the front office multiple times about my wife and I being harassed but they haven’t done anything to help and my car was broken into. They are very unorganized. I can’t wait to move out.

I am a current lease holder at 6661 Silverstream and originally approached the office to co-sign for my daughter & her fiancée to get an apartment under a previous manager & Mgmt company. We were warmly greeted, shown model apartments and submitted the application and monies and agreed to wait weeks for the apt to be ready. The manager at that time told us that their current procedures would not allow me to co-sign for them, however it would be no problem for them to live in the apartment under my name. On move in date, not only was the unit not ready but the jetted tub we paid for and were promised as part of the apt had the jets sealed over and glazed, there was paint splattered in the living room and kitchen where so called custom walls were painted, the railings on the balcony were covered in bird feces and I couldnt clean it without scraping off paint, there were a number of light fixtures uncovered, etc. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Now that St Croix has taken over I thought it had to be better but its gotten worse. My daughter pays her rent on time every month and despite paying directly to the staff in the office has had a notice to pay rent or quit posted on her door! They then tried to admonish her saying rent has to be paid online in the future which we’d already received that email and she signed up to do. She has received notices to pick up packages in the office only to be rudely told theres no package in the office after going there with the notice five times. Later she found out the package was returned by the office staff because it was in her fiancées name & hes not on the lease. There are too many other negative instances to post but the staff and Mgmt company needs to improve vastly to keep good tenants!

I do not recommend this place! Ive been a tenant here for 4 years and it was great at first until management changed. Now even with a written notice nothing ever gets fixed. There was mold in my bathroom for 6 moths and they didnt try to fix that at all I ended up having to paint over it myself. The office staff is rude and doesnt really care about anything. A neighbor got robbed twice even though its a gated community and we have security patrol that doesnt really do much. The upstairs neighbors stomp around day and night but when we file noise complaints nothing changes. Personally think this place is a terrible option there are lots of other apartments in the area that are better options, make sure to do your research and know what youre getting yourself into!
