The freezer in my Maytag refrigerator was leaking. The technicians name was Brett and he had a helper/trainee with him. They arrived earlier than expected which was a nice surprise. The entire freezer component panels were removed, checked, and repaired. Behind the fridge Brett opened up a panel and repaired the part that was plugged up. Extremely thorough, highly trained, professional and personable. The price, for all the time and labor that was put in, was surprisingly affordable.

Scheduled an appointment for a new oven install between the hrs. of 0930 to 1130. Sometime well after 1130, I called and inquired about my appointment. I was told that the tech called my cell, but I had no msg. I was then told that she would contact the tech to call me. I called two more times and was told each time the tech would call me, no call back. Finally at about 4:30 p.m. I made my final call and a male answered and asked for my address, he then said he left me a msg in the a.m. and added that he could come out tomorrow..Really! No thanks was my reply.

Called on a Sunday afternoon and they sent Alex out Monday morning.We had another company come out twice before within two months, regarding freezer issues and because the freezer began working at the time of the service call, they said there wasn’t anything they could check or fix.However not the case with Certified Appliance! Knew exactly what was wrong within 10 minutes of the call and replaced the part. Alex also took the time and showed us what maintenance we should do to avoid our compressor to over heat in the future.Alex was such a nice young man. Would use Certified Appliance again!

Alex was our service technician and he was on time and quickly saw what the problem was and saved us from having to either purchase a new dishwasher or paying more than we were willing to pay for parts. I was referred to this company by a friend and prior to using them had a lot of trouble with scheduling work order as well as ensuring that appliance repairs were properly handled. I specifically wanted to make sure that I could trust the company to let me know if the issue was worth fixing or if it made better sense to replace the unit. I have been using this company since July 2017 exclusively for my appliance repair and also as needed for HVAC repairs. I couldnt be more impressed. Just recently one of the technicians informed me that he could easily replace the compressor on one of my tenants refrigerator and have it installed by the following Monday. However as the part would cost $511, he recommended that I purchase a new unit instead. This is exactly the type of company you want to use. I highly recommend them and Im extremely diligent when it comes to home repair companies in Las Vegas.They are the only company I trust for all of my appliances. I have 58 condo units in town and they work very hard to ensure quick and reliable service for all of my tenants. They are very honest when quoting prices or informing me of my options on repairing or replacing something. I truly value their service and highly recommend them for all of your ac, heat or appliance needs.

So...I was dog sitting a friends two year old mischievous pup who rolled one of its squeaky toys behind my refrigerator. Upon pulling my fridge away from the wall and seeing all of the dust bunnies, I figured it was a good time to go ahead and clean the walls and floors behind the fridge.Ten minutes later, I noticed a puddle of water forming beneath/around the fridge. It was almost 10PM on a Friday and I didnt want to deal with the stress of a possible flood in the kitchen overnight. I looked up appliance repair services and Certified Appliance Repairs was the only business that answered.I told the dispatcher my situation, and she said someone could come out early the next morning. I expressed my concern about the dog I was watching possibly licking the water that was slowly dripping. She told me she would call her service tech and give him my phone number.Josh called me within five minutes. He helped me troubleshoot, and I was able to fix the problem because of his suggestions.Im so thankful that the dispatcher (I forgot her name!) contacted Josh, and for Josh taking the time to call me on a Friday night. If one of the other businesses had answered, I could have been out a few hundred dollars. I will keep Certified Appliance Repairs in mind if I have appliance issues in the future.

Called this company and they were at my home within 20 minutes. Brett and Frank got right to work on my a/c and had it fixed in no time at all, which in Vegas is a BIG deal with no A/C. Awesome customer service, quick response. Fixed ac during 100+ heat. Runs quiet and cold. They left me a happy camper. Called again for washer problem. After they examined the situation, they explained why I was having this problem and made good suggestions. They were honest and that is rare in the service industry. These guys are #1. Very knowledgeable of the dryer that was repaired. Took 2 days for the part to come in and was asked for no money up front the way a business should be run. Josh was the technician and called and kept me updated on when the parts came into town.I would do a referral to anybody that needs any appliances repaired this is a top-notch business.

I called certified appliance at night time around 7 pm and they send out two men, with in the hour to come fix my air conditioner. i was surprise to get such quick service at that time of day. the a/c techs they sent out were so nice, polity, and full knowledge. they answer all my question and more. the office lady was nice too, i recommend them to all my friends and they have nothing but nice things to say about them too, i also needed my filters change, not only did they remind me about them because i totally forgot they were there, they also offer to change them for me. i recommend them to everyone thank you for such great service

These folks were terrific! Arrived home late one night to find my AC running but no cold air. Certified was able to send out person the next day. The technician was on time. He figured out the issue and had it fixed in less than an hour. Cost of fix was extremely reasonable. The technician also clearly explained what the failure was and how he fixed it. I’ve had no trouble since the fix and it’s been HOT.

I am so pleased with my refrigerator repair Certified Appliance did for me. When I called they were able to get me scheduled for a same day appointment and the receptionist was so kind and was able to answer many of my questions. My repair man arrived and he was very professional. He got right to work and was able to replace the part the appliance needed. Great service and at a great price.

I was able to get quick service for a dishwasher leak. Joshua was professional and kept me updated on his arrival time. I will definitely call them again when I need appliance repairs.

The tech told me the problem with my heat had to do with the pilot and that the unit was too old to get the part. He said I needed a complete new system, and he could offer me a new unit complete for $5,000. I got a second opinion and had it fixed for less than $300.

I had Josh from certified appliances come out and fix my dryer, the service was excellent and when he was done he went the extra step and performed perventing maintenance by clean out my dryer and also clean it the dryer vent I am extremely happy with my service and glad I choose to go with them prices were fair and Josh is one of the best technicians Ive ever had service my appliances and air conditioner I strongly recommend them

Came out. Said I needed a completely new AC. I said I could not afford a new one. Then he kept tinkering and said he could patch it up for only $750.I made him leave and called a reputable company out. They fixed it for $250.DO NOT CALL THESE LIARS.

Certified Appliance was great! I needed a check up on my a/c system to comply with inspection on the sale of my property. The technician showed up quickly and was efficient in testing my system and providing proof the system was working properly! Awesome service and a wonderful team!

I have used this company before for a previous issue with another appliance. Today my refrigerator had a problem not staying cold due to the freezer not defrosting. The part was probably only $ 75.00 or less and it only took the service man about 45 min. The total price was $285.00. I have been a long time customer so it was difficult to pay but we didn’t have to do it ourselves and repairable.Joshua was very polite and worked fast!

Im upset I was overcharged for the service. I found another place that would change the condenser motor and capacitor for $350, this place asked me for $750. Within 2 weeks, the same problem happened again. I paid more than 2xs what I should be paying for the same problem to happen again.Update: They came and fixed it.

Rip off! Watch out for this company. My A/C went out on a hot summer day. I thought it was the compressor. They said they could fix it. When they arrived and checked it they said the A/C unit was shot, I needed a new one which they had on the truck for $3,600. I said I thought that was high and I would need to get another estimate. The guy said let me make a call to my boss, after which he gave me a quote of $2,700. I told him, why would I buy this from you after you just tried to cheat me out of $900? I sent him on his way but had to pay them $60 for them to show up and try to cheat me. I called another company who discovered that my capacitor was bad. They replaced it, added freon and the unit is now running fine for $200.THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES, but I guess you would need to have a conscience for that. THIEVES!!!!!!

Had a problem with my refrigerator. This company seems to do piece meal fixes which keeps them coming back and nickel and diming you to death rather than fix the real problem. The first technician noticed the fan wasnt running properly and the condenser was overheating. He tingled with the fan and installed a jumpstart part for the compressor $375. Not even 24 hours later we had the same issue. The tech came out again with Brett his supervisor, they tingled with the compressor again and found a valve the size of a small nail (about 1/2 inch) that was leaking and filled the Freon $375 more. I was assured the compressor should last another 5 years or so. Less than a week later same issue the compressor was overheating. Another technician came out and replaced the fan (which was part of the original problem) another $385.Now two weeks later the compressor is not working. When I asked what the estimate would be to replace the compressor the technician couldnt give me an estimate until he came out again to see what parts he needed. I told him Brett had already ordered the compressor and he should be able to give an estimate since they have been out 3 times to work on the unit. Needless to say I am going to find another company. Update: The real problem with the refrigerator was a timer that prevents icing up the unit. No compressor problem and most likely there was no fan problem. Apparently this is a easy thing to diagnose.

Wow they just left our house... they took a photo of the tag inside the front door and told us they didnt even need to look they knew what the problem was and it would be $440-500. And that it might take weeks because the company doesnt stock the board it would have to be custom made when he orders it After they left. we get a call from the technician 1 hour later wanting to know if our dryer was gas or Electric Really what a Joke they never looked at it We Opened the top (3 screws) and noticed all the dirt on the board blew if off and it was fixed....And we looked on the internet and the boards are in stock 1 day delivery from $89 to $139 What liars. Be careful about this group Thank You for stealing our $60.00

GREAT SERVICE, Had My Refrigerator Fixed in less than 1 hour. It was up and running and fixed. A refrigerator! Yes, its fixed and a new fridge costs alot, so Im gratefull. And I always call Certified Appliance. Its a family owned business and they really care about the customer and service. And also they fix air conditioning. And its hot outside, so I would recommend them and have personally called them for service for the last 7 years.

My ac quit working on July 3rd. I had 3 companies come out and look at it. All three said the compressor was shot and I needed to replace the unit. Estamets for the first too companies were 10k and $8500. And nether one could do the work until after the Holliday.I called Certified Appliance and they were $3500 cheaper for the same unit and they installed it on the 4th of July. I Highly recommend this family owned company. Great people

Very quick response, replaced blower motor 45 mins work time and a $125.00 blower motor . total bill $900.00 that is right $900.00. If your are rich and do not care about getting rip off this company is for you, but I will never call them again

I called Certified Appliance and was told someone would come same day as tech was in the area. He came. Went up on second floor roof to check and told me condensor was shot and needed to be replaced. Original quote was high. I told him I would get another quote, he said could call manager and get an adjustment and quote came down, more affordable. I called manager, Evelyn, told her my situation and we agreed on a price. She was helpful. Alex fixed the unit condensor, capacitor, and one more thing, (I forget what it was.) Airconditioner is working.He was hardworking young man, third generation family company.I would call on them again.

In 2009 I had a Goodman air conditioner unit installed on my roof by Certified Appliance. My 1st experience was the leak in my hallway the 1st time it rained after install. I called up and they sent a tech out but the unit still leaked. I went up on the roof myself and put tar around the unit. Next I called because the unit stopped working, shortly after it was installed. The first tech told me it was my thermostat so I called NV Energy and they stated nothing wrong with thermostat. I called again and the tech stated that the 1st tech hooked up the thermostat wrong. About 2 yrs ago I started complaining about an arcing sound coming from the unit. A tech came over and shined a flashlight into the unit and stated he couldnt see anything wrong. My daughter recently told a friend of the family about the sound and he stated its the magnets in the contactor and the unit would either get stuck on or off if not fixed. When he got on the roof to check the unit, one side of the contactor was completely corroded and the wire going to it was burned. Glad my daughter talked to him. He replace the contactor but it scares me to think that my unit could have caught on fire and this company didnt seem to know what they were doing.

Not recommended. This company is not professional at all. They do not have the right tools to diagnose the problem and then they will quote you an overinflated price to replace the unit (which is not necessary) with a far inferior model that they carry. I am glad I got a second and third opinions, I save several thousands of dollars.
