Serena is the BEST hands down in Lansing. I go faithfully 2x a month and I am never disappointed. She always returns my text or calls. When I need to change my appointment, its never a problem. When I moved here I was concerned as to who would do my nails the way I liked and accustomed too. When my best friend knew my concerns she told me about Serena right away. I went on her Instagram page to view her work and I was ecstatic.Sydneys is bright and inviting, but the best part is Serenas customer service. She is the first person you see with a hey girl and a big smile welcomes you.I have never once left unhappy. I love the diversity and the individual attention she gives each and every customer. Her staff their are very friendly and professional. I look forward to my appointments, not just for the banging results, but for the opportunity to have great conversations with her and her staff.Keep up the good work at Sydneys and I look forward to Charlies Beauties opening next door.

I went to Serena from February to June, and unfortunately I cannot recommend her or Sydney’s Nail House as a whole.While Serena is extremely nice and talented, she is wildly unprofessional. I have had to wait OVER an hour when I had an appointment, multiple times. She schedules almost every client for only an hour regardless of what they’re having done to their nails. This is why she is constantly late and rushing. And the quality of her work is extremely inconsistent. One week my nails were perfect, the next insanely thick and not well done. (This occurred multiple times as well.)Also, the business is incredibly unsanitary. I kept going because I assumed that her quality was worth the lack of cleanliness... it is not. She needs a receptionist, I cannot understand why there wouldn’t be one.My personal last straw was paying $65 for a set (including tip) and having 3 nails break within 3 days (as well as many chipping severely) and Serena never responded to me. Although, it should’ve been in MAY when the top coat peeled off of my entire set of nails and ruined the very expensive design I got. She gave no apology, was only available one day to fix it even when I asked 3 days in advance when she’d be available, and I got no discount on the next set.As the owner and lead nail tech she needs a lesson on how to be professional (don’t keep the money you use for change next to your breasts.) I have no idea how she will possibly be able to run 3 businesses when she’s already over worked as it is.

Serena has been my nail tech for over 15 years and has always been a great tech! Serena always goes above and beyond. Every significant life event I’ve had as a adult Serena has made sure my nails were camera ready. I am always getting stopped and asked who does your names and I can’t wait to brag and say Serena at Sydneys nail house.
