I would give 0 stars if I could. Worst manicure ever. Nails were still dirty, still a good amount of dead skin left on the cuticle. She put my hands in cold water to soak for 2 minutes. I had to ask for cuticle oil afterwards. They barely speak enough English to tell them anything. I talked to the owner and he said they look great. Lansing please go anywhere else but here.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! Do not come here! Came here with my sister and the guy in the back was doing her nails. She needed a full set and I wanted a color change. We were going to get the same nail polish colors for each of us. Which is like the pastel spring colors multiple different ones. he at first argues with me and then says I have powder instead of polish on my nails( which I do not) then said we had to pick one color. Which is not what we wanted but we were going to settle. Then he proceeded to cut her hand 6 different times and then continued to file over her deep cuts he gave her from the buffer and nail filer. We left without any colors to go to queen nail, since she was cut, nails were uneven, and he couldn’t do the color we wanted. I will never come here again. I literally have been going to nails salons for over 10 years and this is the worst I have seen anyone be cut by a nail tech. And worst energy and experience I have ever had. Shame I hope nobody who spends their hard earned money brings it here. This is supposed to be a relaxing thing to get your nails. This was the opposite!

I am very disappointed with the nails I have paid for. It was more expensive than other places I have gone to last minute for a quick new set when I forget to make my 2 week appointment with my regular place. They use the same tools on everyone, they dip your nails into the powder container (not distributing powder into cups to pour onto nails to prevent using on others or to stop contamination), they make the one hour process for dipped nails into 20-30 minutes (which seems great!…But unfortunately they make them fragile, uneven and use a poor process I have never seen before). I have had mine for 3 days and the top clear coat is peeling off on all my nails but one, they are chipping, losing their shine and becoming even more fragile I broke one and didn’t even know. I am ever so gentle with my hands/nails, you learn to be after 7 years of getting them done! I will not be coming back to this place. One person works on 2-3 people at a time, so you sit and wait for them to finish to even start you. I am truly disappointed.

I wish I could rate this place a 0. I took my niece here to get her nails done as a gift. When we got there, they were super rushed and didnt spend the time they should have to make sure they did a good job. They did not put the acrylic nails far enough down on the real nail or secure them properly. Two of them have already fallen of after 3 days. And I paid $55. Total rip off. I will never go back her and would recommend avoiding this place!

I love the variety of services offered and very reasonable prices at this nail salon. Happi does an awesome job doing pedicures. Calvin is great at taking care of your fingernails doing full set, acrylic full set, fills, and nail art. They are both very attentive, leaving you to feel relaxed and pampered. This salon takes walk ins but highly recommend making appt to avoid waiting and especially if you specifically want to have Happi or Calvin.

I get my nails done by the man at station 10 and he does an amazing job every time.

My nails never looked so bulky. And they HURT so much!!! I asked to get my acrylics removed, and get a new set. she pulled my acrylic/gel with a fake nail. She kept going even though I jumped out the chair from pain. She Did not use acetone. Pulled my nails out! one nail was red! Almost bled.The white tip is so wide and instead of straight nails the shape went up. SO UGLY. I’m so disappointed!There’s a gap between my nail and the new acrylic. YUCK! ( didn’t cut my nails all the way before the new set)she kept up-charging for random stuff like top coat! The lady was talkative/ nice but when I mention my nails too thick or about the space between the nails she comes up with some answer to convince me it’s fine. Sorry we’re not dumb! And your technique needs lots of improvement. I should ask for money back but I know how that will go. So figured a review will help the next victim. (I wish These salons would improve with each customer as much as their up selling techniques).

Annie did a fabulous job on my nails! I will definitely go back to have Shellac put on. I also had a pedicure done...very relaxing and it turned out great! Highly recommend!

I had to wait over an hourThe man that did my eyebrows burned me and took too much of my eyebrows off, too thin not even they look so bad, I pray they grow back soon. I will never go there again, l feel he did me that way because I am black.

Ten did my nails. Fingernails were ok, but he did not smooth out my toes, when I told him they were not smooth, he said when he put the top coat on they would smooth out. He only put 1 coat on & it did not smooth my nails out. Had a bad experience with Bee last time, kept burning me. Thought I would give them one more try. Ill never go back!

I just had a shellac manicure here for the first time and I will never be returning. I have never received such a poor polish job. The ladies were nice but thats about it. No signs of instrument sanitization, the space was not clean at all, and you could tell everything was seriously dated/overused. Im incredibly disappointed with the service. $27 for less-than-professional nail services. I have uploaded a photo to demonstrate their service.

Went here ONE time with a friend because it was the only place currently open. First they told us they didn’t have appointments available until we said we’d try somewhere else instead, then they said nevermind they could take us, then they tried saying my friend didn’t pay for me when SHE DID. They got the whole salon involved cause everyone saw us pay her. They tried to up charge on reshaping our nails & they wanted to up charge me for wanting more than one color nail polish on my nails. The lady kept asking me personal questions about if I was still with my daughters father or not which was so uncomfortable and weird as hell. They continued talking in a different language after the little outburst and I knew it had to be about us. Then when my friend had finished way before me and was at the drying station the lady ( who I assume was the owner ) says to her “DONT text, I don’t have time to fix your nails” rudely! Will not be returning and the service was beyond horrible as well as the staff. WE DIDNT TIP & for my first time ever not leaving a tip I do not at all feel guilty after that service

I have been going to US Nails for over a year now and the best salon I have been to when it comes to my gel nails. I see Annie for my nails and eyebrows and Wendy for my pedicures. They are great! Thank you gals and guys for all you do!!

While my friend and I were greeted promptly and taken to our seats soon afterwards, we couldnt help but feel rushed. We both really enjoyed our pedicures and our toenails were painted well. However, it became problematic when we asked about shellac manicures. It seemed to throw the staff off when I showed them a relatively simple design and they ended up switching out who was working on my nails at different points after hushed conversation. The polish looked gummy in the bottles and many of my nails turned out wrinkly looking (this may have been because of the out of date lights they had) after drying. The design was poorly done and I cannot believe I was charged full price. The lines are clearly crooked and uneven thicknesses and the woman who did the details didnt bother using all of the colors I had indicated. Given how busy it got while we were getting our fingernails done, I expected better quality work. I left wondering if the manicurists had been properly trained using gel polish. I definitely will not be returning here.

Very good first time getting powdered nails and he let me know the powdered nail are better for your nail than acrylic nails and shellac nails.

Went in for a pedicure. Will never go again. The lady that did my pedicure LAUGHED at my feet. I knew I had bad feet. I work two jobs and both of then require me standing the entire time, so I knew I had bad feet. But her job is to make the customers feet look good, not laugh at them and then start talking to their coworkers in another language. Well guess what buddy, I know some words and the words I heard, they werent nice. Zero stars. Youre lucky Google doesnt let me do no stars.

As a license nail tech I do NOT recommend anyone to go here. They have skilled techs who do not service clients to their full potential, they gossip about other clients, and the shop is filthy. Dont be fooled just because they got some new equipment. Really take a good look and you will see the dust build up and smell the cigarettes from the back. But worst of all is their attitudes. I know it is tiring because nail techs work open to close but the owner should make sure his techs are getting breaks and eating some they dont act nasty to clients. Honestly I wonder when the last time the board did an inspection.

I have had a horrible experience with getting my nails done there I would never go again first time but they’ll start lift it up and it hurted so bad So I gave them a call and let them know that I had just got my nails done they’re not even two weeks ago so they told me to come back in which I did And not even a week later they start lifting up a again I spent a good bottle money on my nails And again I would never go back again My nails Underneath Are completely ruined and it’s so painful

I called and made an appointment for a pedicure for me and my 10-year-old daughter and we arrive 15 minutes early to our appointment and they told us they were too tired to service any more patients regardless whether we had an appointment or not. She said we’re too tired and we’re too hungry to do anymore work today. Those were literally her words. Calvin even chimed in and another nail tech from the back screamed up I’m just too hungry.This is after we waited around for hours for the appointment time to come about! (We were originally walk-ins several hours prior and they said there was an hour and a half wait so we left, grabbed a mom and me bite to eat and made an appointment over the phone for their next available opening.) I will never do business with them again and honestly don’t pull the race card often but there was no other reason for them to turn us away. Perhaps they genuinely were hungry and tired but there open sign was clearly still on and door open for other patrons mind you. Today I am discouraged and offended with the way they treated me and my child. What a rough lesson that was taught on what was supposed to be a fun girls day!

Been coming here for 3 years, and in the past couple months have been treated worse than I ever have been! Terrible experience with my pedicure and full set a couple months ago, thought I’d give them a second chance, and I stand by my decision to never come back here again!

I had to give it one star, if i had a choice they would have none! The snotty nail technician, if she even deserves that title, cut my nail! Even though as she was taking that nail off I expressed my discomfort, she kept going at it. When she removed the nail I said I was bleeding and she completely denied she had anything to do with it! She insisted that that I put a nail on it and instead i asked for a bandaid and she claimed they didnt have any. So at that point she was slamming her equipment down and my mother was yelling about how the lady cut me. So I calmly requested a new technician which they happily gave me as the other technician ran to the back. As all the other technicians tried to calm the situation down, and up sell me a new set of nails, my mother and the old technician were arguing. The women claimed that I came with a bleeding finger to get my nails done and called my mother a b****. So at that point my mother was very upset and demanded we get our money back and not once did the women apologize or show any remorse. We ended up going to nail trix in the lansing mall who gave me rubbing alcohol and a band aid and did a beautiful job on my manicure. They were a bit more expensive but I got a new set like the man convinced me to. She told me to come back in a week for my finger to make sure it didnt get infected. So if you value all of your fingernails, do NOT go to US Nails.

Since it is closer to my office, I have been to this location few times after work. I often see the same girl with an ok service. However during my last visit to get a shellac the girl was doing a pedicure, the guy and few other technicians (including the lady I believe who is the owner) was sitting with no clients. He asked me what I needed and offered to take me in. I put my stuff down and got comfortable at his desk to get my nails done. As he was preparing, an older lady with no appointment walked in with a chipped nail. While there were others sitting around, I thought it was strange that he had to get up to ask her what she needed. I could hear their conversation loud and clear. He then pursued to tell me that he was going to move me and my stuff to another table. I didnt think it was a big deal. This guy moves me to an empty table with no explanation and started doing the ladys nail. I sat there for five minutes with no one coming to check on me or let me know they will be with me in few minutes. I couldnt believe what was going on. Although it is very common at nail shops, i felt strongly discriminated against as a young professional woman whose time and money is valuable. I was so angry, gathered my stuff and on my way out I told the lady what was done was very rude and I was extremely disappointed and will never come back again. I went to a salon next door by biggby and got an excellent service with a fair price. Glad I took my money where it is appreciated.

I think it is very unprofessional for CALVIN to talk about his clients to other clients. Its rude, sad, unprofessional, and embarrassing I will NEVER again do business with this store and i will warn all family, friends, co workers, and anyone i come into conversation not to go there!
