You will get the best services, always. I have never been to a salon that is so consistently amazing. The shop is large, clean, and the staff is extremely sweet and they all pay attention to detail. I refuse to go anywhere else for a pedi or a dip manicure. They also have the largest selection of dip powders that I have seen in the area.

Horrible experience for me! I made an appointment and when I arrived I was directed to station 11(Sam). I asked for a dip powder. Sam proceeds to do my nails. Once the old polish was removed he proceeded to apply the dip powder without using a base. I asked about the base powder and he didnt want to do it. I explained to him that a different salon did the same thing and my nails broke within a week. Luckily for me, another tech nearby gave him the base to use. Sam was irritated and complained. He didnt cover 3 of my nails and filled them in using a different technique. I ended up with 3 darker nails than the rest. I will never go there again and definitely not recommending Jenny nails. But, I did notice a couple of ladies who were attentive and nice to their customer. I wish I would of gotten one of them. If you do choose this place, dont let Sam do your nails!!!!

I called ahead to see if it was ok if I came in for a pedicure. It was 6:50pm and the website said they close at 8pm. I assured them I understand if it’s too close to closing. The nice woman on the phone said it is no problem, to come right in.When I arrived I was greeted with a nice lady working on another customer. I choose my color then made eye contact with the woman who would be doing mine. She rudely said ‘go to first one.’ Without directing me to where the pedicure station was. I then sat down and greeted the lady. She ignored me. Rudely asked a question I couldn’t make out. Asked me to put my feet in this freezing cold water. Then hacked my feet for 10 minutes. She was not gentle, it was almost intentional aggression. She moved quickly but it wasn’t worth the pain. She polished them and sent me on my way. I did not receive the standard lotion application on my legs.It was just a very disappointing experience. I will not be back. I’ve never had a pedicure with such an unfriendly nail professional.Meanwhile we she was ‘sighing’ the entire time.

Great folks here!! Used to take my lil 95 yr old here and they were so gentle with her! I cant afford to go often but when I do go, they have great service!! Jenny and her mom are so nice!!

Yesss I finally found a great nail salon in Lansing!!! Im sorry I cant remember her name, I want to say Crystal (the pregnant woman), did an amazing job on my nails!!!!! Clean shop, relaxed vibe. No dictator style manager running around screaming at the workers. Absolutely!!!! I will come back.

I went to Jenny nails a male nail tech did my nails and he did a great job! He was very nice and actually cared about me loving the way my nails came out he tried his best to make sure everything was perfect and that I was happy with his work. The place tries their best to social distance and keep all areas clean and the staff is friendly. I would totally recommend.

I never got my nails done. They made me feel as if I was inconveniencing them. I did sit in a chair and the guy asked me to put my hands under the hand sanitizer pump. He pumped so hard it squirted all over me. I proceeded to ask him if he did the same and he didnt respond. Then he tells me he could only apply my nails, not do the powder. I would have to wait more. At that point I was done. I politely asked if we could just stop and not go through with it. I asked if I owed anything, no response.Just awful.

BEFORE: i had the worst ingrown toenails on the big toes of my feet in my life. The pain was nearly the equivalent of stubbing each toe with every step I took.AFTER: Ashley gave me the best pedicure of my life (it was my first and she was gentle, Im not gonna lie!) The pain was gone immediately! I continue to have zero toe pain for 8 days so far.Ashley, youre amazing! Thank you!

At least there prices are reasonable. The nail tec I had today was new, young & still learning but after all did a good job, for that I say thanks & left a tip 💋🖐💙

Use to like it here a lot but the service has gone down hill. Ever since they started using the dremels to file your nails Ive had a bad experience. Ive had under my cuticle skinned by the dremel 2 different times now (pictured). After my shellac was off I had dents in my nails from the dremel taking off so much of my nail, my nails would grow out and just break because they were so weak. I went back again because my husband bought me a gift certificate and it was about to expire. Not a good experience again, super bummed. Its not even been 2 weeks and both my mom and I have chips and cracks in our shellac (mine pictured) and my toe swelled up a few days after we were there (pictured).

Jenny and her staff do beautiful impeccable work. She is prudent about social distancing rules. The environment is clean and lovely to look at. Ive been Jennys patron for many years now. She is like family to me ❤️

Covid protocols are great.The lady who did my pedicure asked me what I would like I told her my pedicure option and then gave me the basic option. My feet were in the water for maybe 1 minutes the entire time. She was rude and did a very poor job. It was rushed and there is paint all over my toes. My sister waited longer than I and when they finally did her feet they used the same tools that he just finished using on someone else without sanitizing them first.If I could give no stars I would.

I have been here probably 3 times in the last 2 years and each time is worse. I never write bad reviews and always give multiple chances to businesses, we all have bad days, but this place is just simply not progressional. Called at 11 to make an appointment, asked for 1:30 or any time after that. Told me 1:30 would be fine. To their credit I sat down right at 1:30, but at 2:20 I still hadn’t been seen anyone. A nice 15-20 minute pre-soak is great, but the 30 minutes after that In cold water was less than lovely. My manicurist was rude, harsh with her movements, and instead of directing me to put feet in, out, etc she would just lightly slap them! It was supposed to include hot stone massage and lotion, etc. Which were each about 30 seconds. My toenails are not even entirely covered in polish and she cut my big toe in her rush. I am done with chances for this business and advise caution in giving them your money!

I had the worst experience Ive ever had at a nail salon. My niece and I made appointments to be seen today and when we walked in I felt an instant negative vibe. The woman was just telling us to go sit in a chair, it was far from inviting.I was first serviced by Sam to have my nails filled. He barely spoke to me and cut me with the drill over and over again on every finger except 1. My cuticle are still red and one finger was bleeding. Before he was even finished with me grew started working on another customer and he didnt paint my nails. I was told to go sit in a pedicure chair where another man began to work on my feet. It was the quickest pedicure Ive ever gotten. My feet look great but he was rough and hurt me with his knuckles and nails while massaging my calves. It was an awkward pedicure. I asked if he could paint my nails when he was done because my nail tech never did and he tried to convince me to keep them bare because he was going to charge me to paint them.... I obviously came here to have my nails done so I told him to just do it. The picture Ive included is of my nails. ... the one crappy coat he did to appease me... they look awful and at this point I just wanted to leave but I also needed a wax. The lady who did this for me was pleasant and kind, she was great to deal with, my only complaint is that she left wax on my brow and lip that I had to clean off when I got home.At the end of the visit I ended up paying $63 for a crappy experience and nails that Im going to have fixed at another shop tomorrow. Then Come to find out when I left that they charged my niece $53 for a fill and 1 gem so Im positive they ripped her off.I wont go back. Im so disappointed. The staff was awful the work was awful and the price for a fill should never cost anyone $53.

This is probably the best nail salon have ever been to. Ive been getting my nails done for 30 years. All in Lansing. The only bad thing I think I would say is there a little pricey. A fill is $40. But honestly its worth every dime.

If youre in the construction business and on your feet all day and your body hurts this is the place to go they soak your feet massage your feet they have a chair that you said in that massages your back all the aches and pains go away I spend lots of money on different shoes braces massage creams nothing else worked this is the best place to go well worth the money

This isnt ok and not fair to the paying customers to get bad services & the business to allow this to continue to happen.I got my nails done by Sam and ended up being very upset with his work. And unless you speak his language, he has a very hard time understanding what you say but instead of communicating that, he tells you yes to everything and does something different. I tried complaining to someone else but she acted like it didnt matter if I didnt get what I wanted or if I liked it. They also have no prices listed and do stuff that cost more without asking if you want that service. And the end I paid $60 for nails I couldnt stand to look at, the color was wrong, the shape was wrong and made my nails slant to the side, and he filed my nails so much on just one side of each nail, that my fingers were bleeding from filing to my skin. It was such a bad experience.

Ive been going to Jennys for over 2 years prior to that I went to 5+ other salons in Lansing this nail salon is the Best!!I read a comment that said even with an appointment you wait 30 mins. Can this happen yes, no different than a Dr appointment.But usually no it is not that long.Even with a wait they are definitely worth waiting for.

Came in here to get my acrylics removed and the technician was impatient and rude. They didnt do anything further until I payed them first and acted like I wasnt going to pay them to begin with.

Sadly, after an hour wait, and after I had to ask..... I was informed it was a long wait, and 2 other people were waiting before me. Two different customers that walked in just after my arrival were being helped with appointment times. I asked if it was best to make an appointment. The response was they dont take appointments on Sunday. Honesty is always the best policy.

Wish I could give no star! This place is a JOKE! Go and get a fill and one basic color walk out spending $38. I think that’s over charge for sure! Not EVEN a week later and I have 2 nails break. Go in and they charge me $8 to fix their mess up. Then I don’t have cash and want to charge $2 to use a credit card. No where in there does it say a minimum charge. Isn’t it against the law to charge for a credit card??? Don’t waste your time!

Kim and Sam did a wonderful job on my Daughter and my nails. This was our first time going to this business, and we’ll DEFINITELY be returning clients. Exceptionally clean, and friendly staff. Jenny was there, and a few of her regular clients were raving about the salon, (I now know why) as she was beaming with pride. Being open on a Sunday is a HUGE help, for busy lifestyles. Competitive prices, and the most nail polish colors we’ve ever seen in one place before. Thank you for a relaxing pedi (in a massage chair) and full set of nails. Our afternoon was perfect! I have been going to Jenny Nails for over a year and a half now. I struggled to find a good salon with talented artists and reasonable prices when moving to Lansing. Jenny Nails is all of that plus more. The staff are so friendly, helpful and amazing at what they do. I go to Houa, and she always exceeds my expectations. She’s personable and makes getting my nails done enjoyable versus just an “errand.” I’ve also had my nails done by Cindy, and she did fantastic as well.Big shout out to Jenny and her entire staff!

I went in on Saturday for a pedicure and get fingers painted with shellac. The pedicure was so rushed and the “deluxe” pedicure was everything but deluxe. It just felt rushed and for sure not relaxing. Also, instead of letting me sit at an actual table the woman came to the pedicure chair and did my nails. I had to have the UV light on my lap and more than once, because it was not sturdy it smudged the polish. Now 4 days later one finger of polish has already chipped off. I paid $80 for this nonsense. I do not recommend.

Absolutely horrible pedicure. The lady wasn’t paying attention and took her grinder to my pinky toe. She didn’t use the tool to get the dead skin off my feet. She rushed through the entire think and skipped many steps. I get a pedicure every two weeks and know what’s supposed to be done. I just moved to town and definitely will not be returning.

WORST experience at a nail salon in years. I am originally from Lansing but live in Grand Rapids and was home for the holidays and needed my nails done. I got a pedicure and shellac manicure and was at the salon for THREE hours and no I did NOT have to wait at all. They are unprofessional and have unorganized color options. The salon looked dirty/dingy and the staff very obviously were not personal and annoyed. Three hours for two services is a complete joke especially with me not having to wait. They do not take care of their customers or care about their time. I will never go back and I urge future customers to steer away from this salon as well. Unfortunately Jenny Nails is not what it used to be. They are too comfortable and do not go above and beyond. Tasha is the only one with a personality and I know she will make it beyond Jenny Nails. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Two of my nails are broken the day after. Lansing, get your nails done somewhere else.

I was told about this place by one of the nail artists Miranda. decided to give it a try and Im glad I did. everything was spotless and they had hundreds of colors to choose from. my daughter and I got a beautiful holographic pink. Sam did my nails and had a soft touch and a wonderful technique. fast wait time and fair for the service pricing. I found a new nail salon home!!! thankyou Jenny nails.

I went with my friend to get a deluxe pedicure. It was our first time here and I thought maybe because of the reviews itd be worth it! However it was not! The guy who did mine rushed through the while thing. He barely massaged my calves and feet. Im normally happy to pay $50+ for this service but after watching my friend get the best service while I was got rushed out of my chair. After letting the manager know what happened she excused his actions by saying it was his day off and they are really busy. So I get crappy service because of that?! Wow. On top of that they over charged. I will not return to this place. And do not recommend anyone to go here if you care about what youre spending youre money and time on.

Website and door says they close at 8pm. I went in at 6:55 and asked to get two nails replaced (because they both broke just two days after I initially got a brand new full set from them.) I was turned away an entire hour before they claim to close. You’re telling me that 0/4 technicians in the building will slap two fingernails on me after I got off early and rushed from work to make it? I will never give this place my business again.

Believe i was over charged. Wanted a simple coffin look nail with gemstone. Nails were too thick and all gems fell off the next day. I didnt like the nails after and will not return.

Fabulous place

Went in today(06/28/18) and wanted a full set I got sat down immediately and he started! My nails were burning, he cut 4 of my fingers with the nail filer and one of my nail beds😒 my nails look good but my fingers hurt! Don’t think I’ll go back.

VERY RUDE OWNER!!! Jenny acts like she doesnt have time to service a walk in even when they are not busy. She turns down new business ever since she moved from next to the pizza shop, her ego and head has gotten too big for her American customers. She burns people with the drill trying to go fast to take money from other techs. Poor customer service. Poor attitude and poor English!!!
