I am not sure if this place is any better now since I was last seen here but Im not taking any chances finding that out.BEWARE OF THEIR FILLINGS QUALITY!I had to redo several of them at a different dentist. One of them costed me a pretty penny (over $1,000) as they drilled too much and too close to the nerve, even worse, leaving the nerve exposed. The seal wasnt tight enough and lead to a severe inflammation. I had to get my first root canal done at 26yo where it was 100% avoidable initially.

My hygienist is by far the best I’ve had in years! Lindsey is careful yet detailed while she is cleaning my teeth, plus she has a sense of humor. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!!!

I moved & desperately needed a new Dentist! Delta Dental suggested American Dental Solutions and Im so glad they did! The staff & Drs are ALL so professional yet very personable! Im not one who likes the Dentist & I know Im not alone. However, if you need one this is the place to go! 🤗💜🙏

Ive always had severe dental anxiety, which is why I needed all my teeth out. Went to American Dental Solutions and its like they could read my mind! The staff and doctors were awesome and really put me at ease! Even the day I went in to have all my teeth removed, including wisdom, they made me feel so much better when I went in there! It was a breeze!!!

Ive been going to location in Lancaster for a couple years and have had nothing short of excellent experiences. The staff is friendly, the doctor is thorough and the hygienist, Lindsay, is outstanding. This was my first visit. Lindsay took x-rays of my teeth the brought in the doctor who explained what those x-rays showed and how he suggested we proceed. Been going here for about a year. Dr Kappa and his team do a great job. Never any issues. Took my son in for his first check up and cleaning. The Dental Hygentist was sweet and made sure he was comfortable. He loved his experience and cant wait to go back. Which is a win in every parents book.

Had all four wisdom teeth removed. Other than a mishap on the first scheduled date, where I didnt receive any information about how to prep for the appointment, everything went very well. They only had to push me back two weeks. The appointment barely took 45 min and the Dr found my vein easier than any other doctor ever has, including at york hospital. Overall very pleased with this place.

When I called to ask about pricing for an extraction, the receptionist gave me alot of information on saving money due to having no insurance. I took her advice and saved a good amount of money on my procedure.The consultation was scheduled for 2 day after, I called which is sooner than most dentists office. When I arrived the receptionists were very welcoming and friendly, they were very informative on procedures and costs. The dentist is very friendly as well. My tooth was removed quickly and painless!It was a good experience. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience at American Dental! I hate hate HATE going to the dentist but from the moment I walked in a felt comfortable. The staff were awesome. Angie at the front desk was incredibly helpful and answered all of my questions. My hygienist was so so kind! She made the experience quick and easy. I usually grip the seat of the dentist chair but I felt relaxed today. Truly worth checking this place out. You won’t regret it.

Because of this place I’m afraid to visit another Dentist. I have never left a place in so much pain and discomfort. I have had multiple procedures involving fillings on the same teeth. My teeth continue to feel sore despite weeks since the procedures. I was told by the dentist to rub Sensodyne toothpaste on my tooth with my finger; and that would help. After leaving the office from my last filling there was a sliver of material jabbing against my gum. It felt awful. I was able to break it off with a toothpick. I can’t believe I continued going to this place after all the issues I have run into. Prior to my last filling a dental assistant drilled into my tooth because she couldn’t get the sleeve they use for filling. She pulled the sleeve side to side causing my head to move along with her pulling action. I left there feeling miserable. I was in that chair for so long I had to get up mid procedure to use the restroom. My tooth which only need to be filled due to some gum receding now is disfigured. It was ground down and and filled with material that is making my gums bleed. My wife and kids all canceled their existing appointments due to this issue. I left this message on their website where on the chat now section with my name and phone number with no response. I also called and requested a refund only to be told they had to speak to upper management before giving me full refund. After I didn’t receive a call... I called back, left a message. Still waiting. So I decided to leave this in the reviews.

Had x-rays, cleaning, and a tooth pulled. The first time a dentist was straight up with me what the course of action was going to be. Called my dental provider to purchase additional dental supplement to cover my 12 cavity. Great dentist and great support staff too! Huge office, up-to-date dental equipment, and plenty of parking.

I would like to say the dentist was very friendly, professional, and good at what he does . I had a procedure done to replace all my top teeth with screw in dentures and everything went very well . I healed and had no issues through the process. Definitely recommend.

A SPECIAL THANK YOU to Dr. Kapa and his wonderful team at American Dental! Great work today helping my dad. My fathers teeth now look and feel wonderful! My father chipped his two front teeth. Dr Kapa and his team got him an appointment quickly and repaired his teeth the same day! So often these days you have to make a consultation then weeks later actually get in to have the work preformed. Not Dr Kapa! This was our first visit, we explained the situation over the phone and got the work done the same day!! The wait was short, little paperwork and the staff was caring, attentive and so organizes. The rest of my family will be now be seeing Dr Kapa and his team for all our dental needs!!

This was my first experience with American Dental Solutions and I was very impressed. I had a very painful tooth that needed to be removed by their oral surgeon. I have a real aversion to dentists so I was extremely nervous but the staff and oral surgeon were all very friendly and knowledgeable and did everything they could to make the process as easy on me as possible. I definitely recommend them.

No, I do not feel I should email management team because I was already dealing with the general manager . I took down my last review because I thought she would be in contact with me to resolve the issue but she did not get back to me and I left her a message. At this point I’m not happy with these results. I had my braces on for almost six years because of the high turnover of orthodontist in the Lancaster office. People just pay the extra money and go somewhere you will get the results you want. It’s not worth it!!!!

Place was nice, and customer service was excellent. Hygienenist treated me with care and gave me tips on how to improve. And it was reasonable priced to. Also schedule me for the next time on the spot. I highly recommend these people.

Pain for an actual month after the visit, Fillings put in wrong and too tight. I literally cant floss between my teeth because they put them so close. Do not recommend this place. Honestly a traumatic experience for me. Im still paying on the work that was done and Im sure if i call these people to try to fix them being so close ill pay an arm and a leg and end up in pain and with worse issues. Just ugh.

The receptionists here are always so sweet and pleasant here. Everyone is very knowledgeable and understanding. I got my wisdom teeth out a week ago, the procedure was quick and easy and they were so helpful through the entire process!

I was called earlier this week to change my appointment from 12 PM to 11:30 AM. Although I had to change my schedule, reschedule a riding lesson student, and took quite a bit of compressing my morning schedule to get there by 11:30 AM, I did that at the request of American Dental Solutions. Upon arrival I checked in at 11:32 AM. And I ended up having to sit and wait in the waiting room and then was taken back at 11:53 AM. So Im not sure why I was asked to come in early, and inconvenience my schedule and rearrange my schedule only to sit in your waiting room until seven minutes before my original scheduled 12 PM appointment.

They advertise emergency care, which they do not provide, unless you consider a 2 week wait as emergency treatment.

My first visit to American Dental proved very satisfactory. The staff is friendly yet professional. I was well taken care of and the Doctor was very nice. Everything was explained perfectly. I was very comfortable with my visit.

I had an impacted wisdom tooth removed here. The oral surgeon was able to get me number up and get 2 teeth extracted in 10-15 mins. He explained everything as he did it. He was very personable etc etc. Afterward I didnt even have to bother with the pain meds and there was no noticeable swelling and no discoloration.BUT my experience with the staff was not so great. In short they seemed in a hurry, they were impatient and disorganized. On a personal level, I felt I was nothing more than an obstacle between them and my wallet.I called in once and I believe they said it was a $50 consultationI called in again when I was ready to book, the consultation fee was $110 and $275 or something like that for the removal (estimated) everything included, but they said if I had the appointment and the surgery the same day, they would wave the consultation fee, but I think there was some othr thing so the total was about $325. Most oral surgeons quoted and me for the removal of upper and lower. They didnt until the last minute so the total ended up being $500.I got there and they said they never got my x-rays and wanted to take even more x-rays. I called my dentist to ask when they sent them. Turns out they sent them and then the secretary there said oh wait, here they are, but they are encrypted. We cant open that.So the one assistant there, who seemed to be in a great hurry, said if we cant open it, we dont have it. Turns out they were able to open it in about 3 minutes…I told the assistant there that I had the wisdom tooth issue, but if they could also look at the gums on the other side and slice a section off as my dentist recommended, thatd be great. She said theyd take a look. They never addressed it, and in all the confusion and fear of the operation, I also forgot to bring it up again. Before I new it I was biting down on gauze and being hurried out the door.I was able to get a few questions in. I was amazed that they gave me the time of day to answer my whopping 3 - 4 questions.Maybe they dont like driving in on a snowy day. Who knows. All I can say is they seemed a bit disorganized, but more importantly, their staff kept communication to a minimum with me, they were a mildly rude and hurried and I ended up just Googling how to take care of things and what to expect once I got home because they dont explain a damn thing. They gave me a piece of paper that told me what to do for the day of and day after the surgery (except for the note about not smoking for 5-7 days after the surgery). So that was helpful for about 24 hours.As a Dr. friend of mine said, oral surgery is a mass production business. They just want you in and out as fast as possible, and my experience seems to confirm that.Do yourself a favor, if you go here, Google everything in advance. I did call in once to ask a question. They did answer it, but they could only answer general questions it seems. If you have any questions or notes, write them down and pin them to your chest so they cant ignore it. Youre own your own once you get there.

So I get to the appointment today that I made about 6 weeks ago to be shown a sign that says they are charging $10.00 per patient for PPE. Sign says they WILL charge. Person checking me in says I was not informed because they cant put in text or email, which is how they confirm and the scheduling service they use does not inform. Well submit to insurance and if insurance pays, well see reimburse, but you need to pay now to keep appointment. Had I known this I would have gone back to my previous dentist as my insurance is accepted there now AND they are waiving the fee for all patients if not covered by insurance. After today, definitely going back. Would have left today, but cant wait another 6 weeks......

The dental practice is fine, but the orthodontics have been a problem. My son has had six or seven broken wires so far. I’ve lost count because we stopped coming in to get them fixed. What’s the point, when the fixed wire breaks in two days anyway? Then, a full year after paying for treatment, I started getting bills for over $200. The billing department never followed up with the insurance company or with me. I finally just paid it to avoid collections. We’ll be switching practices as soon as possible. There’s a reason this place is 1/3 the price of other orthodontic practices in the area—and you get what you pay for!

I had a visit 8-14-20 at this facility, they did an amazing job making me feel secure about my visit with a practical covid-19 protocol, the lobby has chairs marked on where to sit, they are scheduling appropriately so the lobby isnt full, the staff were wearing PPE and they had a few questions to insure that I wasnt going to bring any viruses into the facility. They took my temperature right before getting me checked in. While in the back getting my cleaning the computers had extra coverings that where changed out after my visit to ensure no cross contamination from client to client. The staff were very friendly and made me feel at ease. Im very happy with my visit and look forward to seeing them again.

My dental checkup was great. The hygentist was gentle on my teeth. She mentioned what she would be doing next on the cleaning. Dr. Kapa is always great.

I was treated like family from my first visit. I had my bottom teeth pulled and dentures put in. They were helpful and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. I will continue going to them and will recommend them to all my friends. They make going to the dentist less stressful.

Everyone made me feel welcome there. The receptionist was chatting with me, the assistant and the surgeon. My first time here and I felt like a friend. I explained my nervousness and the surgeon put me right at ease and continued talking to me during the whole procedure. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Every individual at the Rorherstown Rd location go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They test every person as if they are their only patient, and take whatever time needed to explain every process, procedure, and possible options. Together we came up with an evolving plan of care that works with my very limited Medicare Advantage Plan benefits. I received service above and beyond when my repaired plate was deliver to the wrong office and since I had an appointment soon after I stopped to pick them up, they made a special trip across town in heavy traffic to deliver them so I could make my other appointment, to me that takes special employees that cares about their patients. I had a terrible experience at another practice not connected in anyway to this practice and I was so relieved to find this practice was the complete opposite. Super dental practice! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Both the hygienist and dentist were gentle. They explained everything they were doing and why. I would highly recommend this practice.

Not recommended. Good dentist but billing department will charge what you never ask for. You end up paying 3x what they told you. Dont ever believe 5 🌟 rating you see. A friend warned me and I never listen. Dont fall for them please.

From my initial phone call making the appointment to the reminder call and text and the actual appointment itself, my experience with American Dental was superb. The office staff was very friendly and answered all of my questions regarding my insurance. The dentist himself was very friendly and efficient when doing my exam. My dental hygienist was very thorough in her cleaning and was able to address all of my questions and concerns. This was by far the most pleasant dental experience I have had. I would recommend this office to anyone.

I had my wisdom teeth extracted today and i have to say i was impressed. The oral surgeon did a great job at numbing the area and within second he pulled my wisdom teeth that was deeply rooted in my cheek half covered by flesh. I barely felt anything. The last dentist i went to was not able to do they could numb my gum and had to cancel the extraction. I would definitely recommend using this oral surgeon again if i should ever need to.

Had I known there is only 2 days a month to schedule with an orthodontist, I would have never selected this place. So if your childs appliance breaks, you could have to wait 2, 4 or even more weeks to get in. This only delays treatment. In addition, on several occasions, American Dental calls up to cancel MY appointment and to reschedule. Since their availability, is so limited, you are FORCED to work around their schedule. So when I put in for time off from work to take my kid for the appointment, and they cancel. It is very difficult to find another time in the immediate future to get in. (btw, They will charge you for missing an appt, I should charge THEM when the force me to rearrange my schedule.) Again this further delays treatment.It was so bad that I ended up changing to another Orho who has full time Dr.s onsite that dont have to rotate to other locations like ADS does. Of course now its all out of pocket for me, but at least we got his treatment finished.The staff is friendly, and they wait time when you do arrive for you appt is small, so I gave them 2 stars. However, the entire business model with floating staff who have to cover multiple locations is HORRIBLE and customers suffer.If you dont believe me, just ask them during your kids initial evaluation, how many days a month are available to schedule. If convenience, flexibility and availability for emergencies is important to you, I cannot recommend this American Dental Solutions.

I would NOT recommend American Dental for any kind of orthodontist treatment. Within a years time, they have switched their orthodontist three times. Now my daughter has her top teeth unaligned properly with the center of her face and a huge gap that wasnt there originally. They might attract you with cheap brace prices but the service is not trustworthy. I had put my faith and trust in American Dental Solutions and they have failed us.10/12/16 - In response to your reply: Unbelievable that you can reply that your management team is working on my families concerns. Sure it looks great for your review, but honestly we both know that they only thing you are doing is correcting the errors that were made. My family deserves compensation for this. My daughter should have never had her mid-line shifted in the first place...PERIOD!

I had a very good experience at American dental in Lancaster pa. The dentist and hygentist were both very nice and informative. I needed to get 2 fillings and the dentist did a very good job with them. I didnt feel a thing! Also the staff is very nice. I would recommend this office compared to others in the area.

Absolutely amazing! Broke my bottom denture and searched the internet for a dentist who could repair a denture while I waited. I called American Dental Solutions at 8:15 am and had an appointment scheduled for 9:30 same day! Staff was phenomenal! Everyone was so friendly and went out of their way to help me. My repair was made within 1 hr and I was on my way home in no time at all. If I could give 10 stars, I would!!!! When you need dental care, I highly refer this dental group to you! You wont be disappointed.

My husband broke his bottom dentures in half. Aspen Dental, couldnt do anything for 10 more days.....called these guys at 9:30am saw them at 11am and had the dentures fixed by 1pm.! They were so nice and helpful.....I dont think my husband will ever go anywhere else. I cant say enough about their awesome service!

My first visit. I am liking this place very much. The staff is really nice. Not Fake. Easy to talk to. Layed back atmosphere.
