Dr. Amour and Vanessa are the absolute BEST! I recall when I first came here for an my youngest daughter emergency visit. At that time it felt as if my life was falling apart fast. I was able to find comfort in talking with Vanessa and suddenly my tears started flowing. After my moment of releasing the heavy burden it felt as if burdens had been lifted. Vanessa provided my girls with some food and made them feel at ease! They really care here and treat you like family! Forever grateful

This office is absolutely the best. Vanessa is amazing. Francisco is very helpful and understanding. Ainsley is accommodating and patient. Dr. Amour, is exceptional with his patients. This Dr. is the best. He is definitely in the right profession. This office is very professional in my opinion. Nothing shy of exceptional. My kids are very happy and so am I.

Ive been a patient for some time now, and I have never had a bad appointment. Most recently Ive had some complicated issues going on where I needed to go down to USC & the office & staff were very reasurring to me & would fit me in at the last minute. The office staff are always polite & patient with me as with other patients, though some havent been very nice to them. Dr. Amour is the BEST, his nurses Ceci, & Vanessa are a treasure. I had the worst experience ever at (smile☹dental) But I just left Western Dental a happy man. Their office staff (especially Vivian and Francisco) is top notch. They seriously take the time to go over ever possible treatment and payment option, and my Orthodontist is the best! So happy that we switched. Thank you!

I am not happy with Western Dental. I have been unhappy about work done on me. Im a senior citizen on a fixed income. Had money problems, letting them know my situation. No sympathy, no compassion. If you are behind with a payment and even though you are in pain, they will not see you! I was literally in pain, telling them and they would not see me. Now, they have put this on my credit. Bad company. Needs to change their policy toward older ppl. Especially, knowing that they gave been paid already by Medicare.

My experience at this location was great, from the beginning to end. Lucy was such a great help throughout the whole process, very knowledgeable and detailed. Not one question went unanswered with her, the whole team there was so polite and friendly. The dentist was great, made me feel really comfortable with the procedure. Lucy even went over after care and future follow ups with me. I would definitely recommend visiting this location! This location and Lucy are Definitely my go to for dental services!

My experience today was just perfect the Dentist was very nice and so was her helper..if there was a ten stars they would get it.just. absolutely beautiful they make you not mind going to the dentist.

Tried getting care from here for 5 years now for my mother, they would not use her insurance unless I was on the phone with them to prove she was covered. Then this year she tried to get a tooth removed/fixed, not only did they say she had no coverage for it and had to put 100$ down for a tooth removal but tricked her into buying a Anti-bacterial gum cleaning kit for 1800$ odd dollars and only got a bottle of mouth anti-bacterial mouth rinse, a tube of neutral sodium, a 1$ tube ofSysodyne toothpaste, and nothing else. After waiting a month to find out what was happening we find out that she needs a cleaning and we wont get anything else until thats done. but then we got to find out that they wont call you back even if they tell you they will. so I went to help her cancel the BS optional treatments contract so they wont charge my credit card for nothing, I got them to agree to put it through an audit and stop the charges but I would not get any money back. at this point we had payed about 220$ and still only had about 80$ worth of items I had agreed to this and they said that would be it. that was 3 weeks ago, today they kept charged me again, so I had to call the company to stop auto pay which I wasnt told I had to cancel through the main office. now after stopping them from re charging me I had to make sure the contract was really audited, well at this point I find out that they can just cancel the audit without telling us, they also say she owes 1200$ for services rendered. which as Ive said is a total of 4 items with are worth less that 100$ and a mouth cast for the mouth piece that she never got. Oh and they also tried to tell her she need a bone graft for implants which now that she is at a different dentist we have learned that the bone graft for that area would not keep and if an implant was done it would just need removal in a few years if it kept at all. So If you go here make sure you know that they only want your money and dont care about your health and will lie to get it. Pic of the total items that supposedly cost 1200$ with a dental cast.

This business is a rip. They are charging us 38,000 for implants. Five matter of fact. They dont even consider ssi as being low income. Today we get a phone call asking for a 4000 dollar payment. When we say we are on a fixed income its like they never heard a word we were saying.

Fransisco the guy who works as a financial advisor was amazing as we all know dental work is so expensive but much needed especially if you don’t have dental insurance. I was so worried about the cost until I got to meet him and bam 💥 he helped me apply for care credit which I got approved and I was apply to afford the dental work I desperately needed. Fransisco help me in understanding the whole process and made it so I can afford my payments and was very honest. Which I appreciate so much the staff and dentist were so sweet as well I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all I left feel pain free and stress free on my wallet thank you western dental 🦷

Ive been here on 2 different occasions and both times, I had extractions that got me out of alot of pain. I appreciate how patient the dentist and his nurse was with me, because both times I freaked out, crying like a baby, probably way more than other 40year old woman should. They were very gentle and the staff was very friendly and informed me well about my follow up care at home and about my future treatment plans and costs. I finally found a dentist in this area that will do same day appointments.

Also, Lucy the head coordinator is amazing and sweet she will always make sure you get called to the back on time and she will schedule you for whatever time and day you need for your convenience . This place is just terrible they make there patients wait outside in 100+ degrees outside even if you have a appointment they make u wait outside my little brother almost had a heat stroke from trying to see a dentist. And people wonder why they don’t like to come to the dentist just a terrible experience very not professional.

I love this Dental office, they have treated both of my parents including myself ever since we moved to Lancaster CA and we honestly couldnt be more satisfied with their service.I understand that sometimes they get a little too busy and the wait times are longer than expected but this is because they take their time with each patient they see to ensure a good service/treatment for each patient.I also purchased my braces from them a week ago because I wasnt satisfied with my smile and they gave me a fair price for them.One of the Patient care coordinators, FRANCISCO M, ( he does not want his last name out there lol )tried his best to give me a fair price for my braces, which he did and I couldnt thank him enough for him helping me to have the opportunity to have braces.Thank you to all the staff at WeternDental & Orthodontics!

Overall, everytime ive been here, staff is always kind amd courteous. ESPECIALLY, Lucy the office manager and Doctor Amour. Ive had many procedures done here ans theyve always been good to me. I cant say enough good things about any and all the staff Ive interacted with. The only feedback that would have made it as a 5 star (which the office is only somewhat possible for) are gold times on the phone can be long (which is not uncommon) and not contacting patients once a Medi-cal claim was approved. granted theres hundreds of patients and that alone would be a daunting task so I do understand. With the exception of those 2 areas, they are AMAZING.

I recently got my wisdom teeth pulled out last month & the doctors did such an amazing job. They helped thru everything & they answered all the questions I needed. The doctors were so genuine making me feel safe. Also the coordinators & assistance had a great customer service especially Francisco, he helped me thru everything. Francisco made me not to be afraid of the dentist because I get so afraid of going. Called to make an appt and got a same day appt for dental exam for school for our 4 year old son.I prepared him for seeing the dentist for his first time. He even perfumed so you can imagine how excited he was. I even had to make a whole deal to arrange for our 2 girls to stay home because they would not allow them to come. And all Just to find out when checking in that he wont be seen because an pediatric dentist was coming on August 10 instead . I asked in different ways if he could just be seen for his dental exam to be enrolled in school. There was no major work to be done that he needed an special dentist but he was denied and offered to come back auguat 10.I was beyond dessapointed and I will not.come back or recommend this place. I rather drive 1 hour to san Fernando where we usully go. Very unprofessional and unconsidered.

Receptionist and staff were nice, I was taken in on time, and the service was good. Ive had problems in the past a couple of times of coming there finding out Im not in the system and that they couldnt take me in unless I pay out of pocket because I am eligible to go once a year but since the pandemic, Ive been back twice and was taken in. The employees gave comfort and were encouraging. Hopefully it stays like that and they thoroughly set me in the system even after things go back to normal.

I was a new patient, called and got an appointment 2 days later which was great. I understand things are difficult during a pandemic but I will not be going back to this place. Waited in my car(covid protocol) for 2 and a half hours, my appt was at 9am. I finally (lost my patience at 11:45) go in to see why they havent called me in yet and they tell me they cant treat me here, Im assigned to a different office of theirs. Ive literally been in my car playing on my phone for 2 and a half hours and the lady tells me, I called you like 3 times an hour ago to tell u we cant treat you hear, is this your number?. I have ZERO missed calls from them and proof that I had service when they called me in earlier for paperwork, as being a new patient there. So I proceed to tell the lady I am assigned here, this is the address on my insurance card, why would they put this address on my insurance card with this doctor if this isnt where Im supposed to be. She couldnt tell me. Not that it makes any sense, but it would have been nice if they could have told me that A.) When I called to schedule an appointment and they took my insurance info and B.) When I signed in for my appointment at 9am and they took my insurance info again. To top it off this was going to be my first dentist appointment in about 3 years and I was excited. (Yeah Im weird cause I like the dentist but I like nice, healthy, white teeth better. 3 years without going due to no insurance and adulting and I finally get insurance and this sh*t happens!)

Went in with so much pain....... turned out I had a bad tooth and needed to be removed..... Dr Amour explained and showed me my xrays on why I was having pain. Francisco was excellent and very informative. Pleased with Dr Amour and Francisco thank you.

Great place. Honest and they go above and beyond. My last dentist continually lied about treatment options and insurance coverage. I was approved 2yrs ago for partials or a bridge. The previous dentist said insurance would only cover a single cosmetic flipper. Western Dental has me on the road to having teeth to eat with again.

Well, I went here for my braces. Everything was fine until I had to get my retainers replaced. I had my retainers for a couple months until I lost them and they told me to just pay the fee. Not an issue. Well, I lose them again a couple of months later. (Yup, like 3 months after I had just gotten the other ones) This time they try to charge me for a consultation. I ask the lady on the phone, Why are you guys charging me for that, you guys are my doctors and Ive never been charged for this. She tells me, Its a new fee and its been going on for months now. I tell her, Are you sure because Ive never been charged for a consultation, check all my recent appointments. So, shes checking and she says, umm yea must of been courtesy. Alright I say, Check all the ones before tell me were those are courtesy? She says, Well I dont know about the other ones, but you have to pay. Dont get my wrong my ortho doc was great, its just the staff upfront. Need to work on communicating better within themselves, because they cant decide when to charge or not.

The things I have to say about this place wont do It justice but you dont have to take my word for it.This is one of the WORST places I have been. I went to them for braces and they had me in office for 12 hours, I was new to the facility and in order to get their payment that day, they kept abandoning me during treatment. When I left, I was shaking and crying and had had an anxiety attack. Due to this experience, I am now under treatment for anxiety.The visit to the dentist (non orthodontist) was very poorly. The dentist clearly did not know what he was doing as he made my pain worse.With the payment for treatment, they neglected to explain at all or even mention the cost and what I would need, they rescheduled me because they procrastinated and saw other customers and it was 5 min before closing so they refused to treat me that day.Going the day of my new appointment I am told I will have to pay 2k upfront because insurance does not cover the total (3k). I then procede to pay and assume they know what they are doing. After calling my insurance, I find out the dentist office billed them for $2,600 and charged me $2k so it is well over the 3k total cost of the whole entire procedure. I am trying to contact support and no one will answer and I keep getting put on hold. I am quite frankly tired of this institution and I will be taking legal action and filing a Class action law suit.Please beware and pay attention to detail when going here, they will try to Nickel and dime you and your insurance to benefit themselves.** if it was up to me Id give them 0 stars, but cant.

Went in for an appointment after 30 mins waiting asked how much longer and said we were next. meanwhile a lot of people were walking in. So 50 mins after my appointment time went in for a second time and when I asked how is it that a lot of people went in before me if my appointment was right after they opened they said they were coming in for something else. Regardless I think if they set you up for an appointment they should follow that appointment time not make you wait forever. After an hour waisted there I cancelled the appointment and went home!! Don’t go there!!! Waste of time!!!

Very poor costumer service ! Was not greeted, or even acknowledged until after standing at the front desk for over 20mins ! I was the only one in the waiting room so i don’t understand .

I had a wonderful experience. Amanda Powell and Dr. Alisia made my Autistic daughter feel safe, happy and content for her teeth extraction. Amanda pretended to be Elissa from Frozen for my daughter who was getting six teeth removed. Wonderful experience my daughter now feels like the dentist is a magical place.

So far, have had bad experiences. The incompetence level is at an all time high. Twice now, we have had an appointment cancelled because they did not verify insurance information. 1st time we arrived they said we belonged to another western office . Why this information wasnt said to me at time of booking is unknown to me.2nd time, they couldnt verify info because its a weekend . Then why in the heck book a weekend appointment if you cannot verify insurance info on a weekend . I again provided all needed insurance information at time of booking. Staff could have or should have verified the prior business day to prevent matters like these.

I’m here currently been waiting for almost three hours to get a tooth token out. I never seen my doctor. I have bad pain in my tooth. Everyone is talking and walking around. I been here since they opened the door and nothing.

I wanna say this place is great other than there’s not a lot of parking and it takes a while to be called but the doctors here and the employees here are amazing! I’ve had a lot of my dental work done at this office I’ve even recently had an implant done and man was I scared but everyone here was very supportive and nice I got through it.Now my teeth are healthy and I’m no longer in pain Thanks to the doctors here at Western Dental for helping me smile again.If you need work done ask for Lucy the coordinator there she’s the best.

I went in to see if they could take my braces off and offered to pay because my medical was shut off and they refused to take them off now Im having sever teeth pain because all I have is the brackets and they are still refusing to take them off I went in 3 months ago but have been trying to get my medical figured out but not getting anywhere with them I called and they are still saying they cant do anything

Had an appointment at 11am told to wait in the car. It is now 4pm and still have not seen the dentist. I have a dentist emergency told them this morning. Im sitting here dying my mouth hurts so bad. I have given up on them went home after the lady told me to wait in my car after waiting 2hrs. I still have not got a call from them and left them my number. I have already got another appointment with a nether dentist well waiting. This place is so messed up. Its 103 outside today and my mouth hurts. All I need is a simple exray and some inabodix. So the swelling can go down. Simply fast should have been in the office for 30mins. I been though this same thing before. Smh will never come back here again.

Though the wait is pretty, pretty long.. I believe its worth the wait. The hygentist, Jose is superb!! Very thorough. Very kind. And patient, and sweet. Also the Orthodontist, is excellent! He as well is very thorough, and sweet.

Everything was great. I did not wait long and Lucy and Dr. Jackson are awesome. I cant think of the guy name who did the impressions. But he was great as well. The staff is always friendly. Thank you all for a good experience.

Ive never been so disappointed, I truly dont understand, why they have such a dirty facility, like the exam room chair clearly had splatter of who knows what all over the white parts of the white chair, by where they put the dental instruments, so gross like common sense the freaking walls floor so disgusting, like nobodys caring enough to say hey let me make sure the exam rooms are properly clean before bringing back a patient, I myself work as a medical assistant, and even I know how much it means for a room to be clean, just makes you wonder who is cleaning those instruments 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢, never going back dont recommend this place at all .

Dirty office and it was a young rude Asian doctor who denied I had any pain that it was all in my head and said I had no cavities but then proceeded to tell me I dont brush and dismissed me and any issues I had. Mind you I had one broken wisdom tooth to the gum (the pain I told him I had that he said I was making up). If I dont brush wouldnt I have cavities or extreme gum disease? He then told the assistant to schedule me for 2 cavities to be filled a removal of my last 2 wisdom teeth and a cleaning. 😐

I went to the Lancaster western dental had enxeity to go in for deep cleaning. At the end it was all worth it. Jose was the one who did my deep cleaning 100% awesome dr. He was answering every question i had and was very patient with me. It wasnt as painful as i thought Jose made it a even better experience with his calm attitude and over all his patience. Only took about 1hr full mouth. Thank you Jose ... 😁

Every time I go I have to wait more than 2 hours and the last 2 times I went I waited 2 hours before they told me my appointment needed to be rescheduled. The office itself isn’t too bad but the waiting time is not worth it.

I called to see if they have a specialist to see my one year old and the receptionist confirmed that she could be seen. I sat in the office for 2 hours after her appointment time just for them to say shes too young and they need to give me a referral. But the male doctor and nurses sincerely apologized and were able to see her after all.

I have had braces with them for a little over a year now and let me tell you guys if you need braces at an affordable price this is the place to go .... They will not drag on the time with your braces and they will give you a beautifully straight smile 10/10 would recommend

Really hoping for a great experience, but every time I have gone the front desk gives really bad service. You have to sit and wait to make payments when other doctors office let you pay and leave. I have asked them for help and they quickly give me a card and say call this number. Sometimes the front door is locked and there business hours are 9am-7pm, you ask then if they are open and they struggle to answer a simple question. 😡

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!This place is a joke. My home office is in Palmdale, and I had an appointment scheduled for Monday, but since I am having a pressing issue, I called the appointment hotline to see if I would be able to go to a different office sooner. I spoke with a few different people who all assured me that everything would be fine. I asked if I needed a referral or if it was even possible to go to this location as my home office is in Palmdale. I was assured multiple times that this was fine. I showed up at my appointment early because I figured since my home office is in Palmdale, I would need to fill out paperwork for this location. I did, and after a few minutes I was called to the back. I was told that I was unable to see this office as my home office was in Palmdale. I explained my story and they got someone from the appointment hotline on the phone for me, who told me the same thing. I explained that no one told me that there was any issue with me switching offices, and that I had a pressing issue and I needed to be seen today. No one cared at all, and no responsibility was taken on their end. I was told I needed to call my insurance provider to switch offices, which I would have gladly done if I knew I had to do that. I questioned that yesterday, and asked even though it is Western Dental if I would need to switch specifically to make sure I could go, and again I was assured everything was fine. Do not waste your time with this company. Save yourself the time, time off work, and headache dealing with people who have no idea what they are doing. I would rate zero stars if I could.

Doctor didnt look at my tooth for over 2 hours, then he made the pain worst by poking at the infected tooth. After another 40 mins. later the upsale women in skirts came in in an attempt to get me to have more work done. DONT GO TO THIS LOCATION!

They have a good online appointment process for new and existing patients. They are organized at the challenger. Lancaster california Location. The dentist help each other and most procedures are done in a timely manner. My visits have been good so far.

When they did call they wanted to know why I didnt make my appointment and I was there.They made another appointment and as I sat there for over 3 hrs. I was having cold food in my trunk getting hot and my grandson was getting agitated and hungry. I had to leave after over 3 hrs. of waiting.I have never been to any dentist office in my life that took over 3 hrs. even with work done.

The staff was extremely helpful and worked there magic to get me implants. I would highly recommend Western Dental.

I’m very happy with a one stop shop asFar as dental. I️ was sick of going here there and everywhere for a root then go to a gum dr. These Dentists toldMe the truth and pulled my teeth that needed it ! Now awaiting on a partial. If you need answers this is the place. Erika in office is awesome. The gal that cleaned my teeth awesomeness. All are great. Dr that pulled my teeth well he did great but ugg it had to be done. Awesome 👏 . Instead of root canals crown all this other charges done deal. Thank you 🙏. However corporate Billing is ridiculously unfair and they are constantly calling and won’t accept checks monthly. Have to be electronic payments only. So be prepared. Dentist awesome 😎

After seeing the dentist I had explained about a fall I had and landed face first, I was not aware of some other things that were going on. It came at me fast, that I felt that my head was spinning. I told them about an infection that was behind my one tooth and I tried everything I could do to get it to heal. I got no response to it. And at the time after we were done they went over the financial end, it did not register with me at the time, after I got home I sat and took a good look at the amounts any where from over $5, 000 to over $9,000 I was like no can do, I am on SSDI and I am on limited funds. I went back to the office to talk to them to see what could be done and work something out, they did not care would not help in any manner, they were rude, so I look at them and said I will try and find another dentist willing to help out. It was like I was being blamed for the fall.I would like to add an update, I have two different patient worksheets one has a different name, dental plan information, this worksheet was created on 4-10-2018 and then they modified it on 5-9-2018, thing is I was never in this office on 4-10-2018, my only appointment and first appointment was on 5-9-2018. This is why I am going else where.

It is now 4:39pm and after being on hold for 45 mins I got told that they cannot see my husband because their doctors are already going home.... ok? But your hours are from 8am to 7pm so what do you guys do with the patients in the mean time until you closeNot to mention how rude the lady on the phone was

I have been trying to get my wisdom tooth out for 3 months and they have not sent the authorization even though they have told me they have about 5 times. This took is erupting and they are not being helpful whatssoever. Terrible, Terrible service. Definitely going to try somewhere else that actually cares about its customers. They dont.

I called yesterday to find out the excate cost of the work getting done today that my insurance wouldnt cover, was put on hold for 40 Minutes, and not just that, but I was put on hold and forgot about and they closed the office, seems thats happening allot, sad, plus wait times are horrible, my husband also went, seems there were two of his first name in waiting room, and they didnt verify they had the right one before they sat him in chair to begin pulling teeth, my husband had to ask are you sure you have the right person, when the bald male realized he had gotten the wrong person, after my husband pointed it out, he very rudely told my husband to go back to his chair in waiting room, didnt even apologize, I would not recommend this place at all, although there is a woman that works there that actually is a great worker and really seems to care. She is the woman that sits in the farea back by the orthodontic door, keep up the good work

Western dental is seriously a joke! I got my braces here and got married so I transferred to a different western dental office. Even though they claim my case is closed, they still expect me to make a payment for both offices. 203 a month is bullshit! Now, they turned my mom into be better business and are trying to get her to pay all this money we dont even owe! Ive never had a more difficult time with a dentist and I will never go to them again.

I called in for a dental emergency and was given an early appt for the next morning. The wait time wasnt very long. The Dr and all of the staff I encountered were friendly and my treatment was surprisingly done in about 30 minutes.
