Honestly I was calling around for my daughter and I spoke to Denise who just was rude. I felt she spoke down to me and just had nooo customer service skills. I chose to not use this office based on her lack of curtesy during our phone call. My daughter is already nervous she doesn’t need to be treated unkindly.
Dental care was great. Had no problems with my visit. Afterwords I was instructed to take an antibiotic to combat an infection while I waited for my oral surgery appointment, but a week before my appointment the antibiotic stopped working. I called the dentist to ask for a different antibiotic during business hours and was told they had no one available who could prescribe or help me and that I would have to wait until Monday(I called at 10 am on a Friday). So I had to suffer in immense pain that was border line debilitating for 3 days and when Monday rolled around they said said I needed to wait until Wednesday. Finally got them to get me a prescription on Wednesday to send in the same antibiotic that wasnt working. So now Ill have to live for another week with this unbearable pain using weak pain killers because theyll only give me 600mg Advil until my surgery next Wednesday. Ill never go to smilebuilderz again and warn anyone to avoid a dentistry that claims to help with dental emergencies when clearly they dont and dont care about if an infection gets worse and possibly kills there patients. For anyone who doesnt know that, an unattended tooth infection will lead to spesis.
I’ve been having issues with my spacers being put in and staying in at no fault of anyone, my teeth are simply too close together. I made a trip three times and she was so quick and made it as painless as possible I really appreciate that. I believe her name was Shianna thank you 😊
Customer Service - Even though we love Dr. Nic (Orthodontist), the customer service and billing dept are not professional/helpful. We were told if something happens to the braces just call and come in to get it fixed. Well, they have to make an appointment which only gave us one option (2 days later) or wait another FULL week which we have a trip planned so now we will wait over two weeks while having something loose in my daughters mouth. They wont even try to accommodate you. These people hate their job.
My experience today was extremely great! I was treated with respect and kindness by the assistant. She keep me calm due to I was a bundle of nervous to get an extraction. The Dr was kind as well and keep well aware of what he was doing and why.Thank you very much Dr Skiadas and your awesome assistant Kiauna! You both made my experience great today!
Our experience at the Crown Ave location with Jessie and Nhat was excellent. We vote for them for the best service. Robert and Rachel Baxter
Wonderful practice!! Super friendly receptionist and staff. Doctor Sulc is amazing and very professional. Rooms have tv for kids while they wait or while the dentist works on their teeth. This is a high plus because it helps them feel relax. Love the coffee area! I highly recommend this dentistry. Ample parking and open til late afternoon which is perfect.
I always have a good experience. Jess always does a great job!
Back in September I had started treatment for braces, a month later I had to ask them to remove them due to that I couldn’t continue making payments on them I wasn’t just gonna have bills that I couldn’t pay for so I just removed them and paid the fee for early treatment termination. I got told that whenever I was ready to begin treatment again, to just give them a call and schedule an appointment. Today I called to schedule an appointment to finally begin my treatment again, and they told me that they will not treat me again, with no reason at all. I tried to get in contact with the manager and couldn’t even reach him. I’ve always liked this dentist but this is so unprofessional. If they didn’t want to treat me anymore for whatever reason, why not tell me back then when I went to get my braces removed 🤷🏻♀️ Instead they told me that when I was ready to begin treatment again.
I am very scared of dentist and very sensitive to pain....dr Tracy Sulc...and Miss Wendy we FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!THANK YOU BOTH SOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!
There is a nurse named Candie at the Crown Ave. office and she is amazing. She always took the time to talk me through my anxiety when I had to have a procedure and always took the time to explain to me in great detail what next steps were that I should be looking forward to. She is kind and compassionate and went above and beyond for every single appointment I had. In gereral this is a great office with great staff who are eager to make you feel comfortable. Quick and convenient appointments that work with your busy schedule.
I attempted to schedule an appointment here. After my first attempt I received an email informing me the appointment slot I chose was no longer available and to pick another one. I did so then received a text message informing me they were not accepting customers with my insurance. I then received the same email as mentioned above but involving the second (alternate) timeslot I chose. I texted them back asking them why they couldnt accept my insurance despite them being listed as covered by my insurance provider. I received a rude text in return informing me that was just the way it is. If this is how they treat people maybe its better this way...
I had a wire bottom retainer put on about 15-20 years ago and areas of glue needed redone about 2 -3 years ago. It was $75 per tooth to reglue! I had two done. The glue already came undone from the two spots they did. I called to explain that my prior glue lasted over 15 years and these didn’t last even 3, and asked if I could come have it done again. She said I would have to pay again. I again explained it didn’t even last 3 years. She responded with “we don’t guarantee any work”. Which was a very nice thing to hear on a $150 bill for two areas glued, I can’t imagine how great the rest of their services could be. Would never go back there again. The place I did get it fixed, dr Howard’s office, I will be able to go back for them to redo if it were to become unglued within a few years again. Much less stress.
Lovely staff and very experienced with handling toddlers 💗 thank you guys!
They don’t act professionally with making appointments, this is the second time that they called me the day my family had an appointment and they canceled it because of the staff’s mistake.and they tell me that they all booked out and next appointment is in a bout 2 or 3 months. So disappointing.
I have been trying to get my appointment with them since June 21 of 2019. First my appointment they couldnt do anything due to infection. Fair enough but they ask you to prepay . So the next appointment out was months away. Then they cancelled that appointment because there was an emergency walk in . Okay . So the next appointment wasnt for a month and they cancelled that one on me and I was mad so I didnt make another appointment with them. Fast forward that tooth hurts again so I make an appointment at the crown ave location. Wait for my appointment show up early and they request that you text when you arrive. I text them . My appointment time passes so I call to be told that the texting wasnt working. She looks for me in the system and Im not there Im at the other location. Granted its not far away but my appointment time has passed . I left . Im going find a new dentist. There is no way I am going to let anyone do dental work to me when the staff cant even set or keep an appointment .
Dr. Nic is the best. Went to several orthos before we found Smilebuilderz and we’ve been very happy! Affordable compared to competitors and provided plenty of realistic treatment options. Always has appointments when needed and the office is super clean.
Had a great experience everyone was friendly and professional also great communication thanks for everything highly recommended
I went there today in the fly got in quick. They really worked on me. The young woman (Danae) I had was extraordinary both in personality and in teeth cleaning skills. I don’t do doctors but she made me feel right at home. Doc too so thank you. So far so good I’ll keep coming! I’ve herd bad things from this business in the past and I can say first hand nothing can be farther from the truth. Give them a try! They aren’t the cheapest but quality isn’t cheap...I encourage everyone to reading this, and take both good and bad, with a grain of salt, see and watch these team’s performance, judge closely, fairly, finally within reason.SincerelySteve Everett tqmx s
Just wanted to say that Candie and Dr. Chun are awesome 👌. Candie always explains everything to me that is going to happen during my appointments which is helpful when you are someone who has anxiety about dentists. Dr. Chun was very efficient when getting my crowns started and I was in and out in no time without any pain. I know several dentists and many assistants work there, but I hope to have them both again for future appointments 👍😊
This practice gives an illusion of being clean, friendly, and patient focused, however the most important aspect of a healthcare facility is missing, patient experience/satisfaction. I called in 2x and spoke with an apathetic front desk rep (Denise). I asked her if I could set up an appointment due to bad tooth pain. She told me to go online. I let Denise know that the online system was showing no appointments until the middle of June (1.5 months out). She said Sorry, thats what we have. Ok great... no emergency appointments? I called back again a few hours later, hoping to speak with someone else. Got Denise again. She refused to transfer me to an office administrator, as I had questions that Denise kept responding I dont know maam to. I asked her what I should do in the case of an oral emergency, she said, you can try to walk in and see if theyll see you. Incredibly helpful advice for someone in pain and who would need to take the time off work to MAYBE be seen.Furthermore, Smilebuilderz only releases your medical records on 2 days out of the month and charges a $35/fee.Furthermore, I saw Smilebuilders 2x about tooth pain, which both dentists told me was probably just sensitivity. No sensitivity toothpaste fixed my pain for 2 months. Saw another dentist today who within 2 MINUTES determined I had a big cavity in the tooth causing me pain. Incompetence. The flashing lights and optics of a caring practice are a show, as they clearly cant be bothered to help find a solution to a customers/patients issue.
Trying to get someone to return or answer a call when you have an issue that needs to be resolved is like pulling teeth, no pun intended. I have called the office 5 times today and have been able to only speak to personal that have no authority to answer my questions or authorized to schedule an appointment for my granddaughter procedure. So frustrating. Not to mention that paperwork had to be submitted to the insurance company 3 times because they didnt send all of the info. the first 2 times. Finally got approval for procedure, now they want to say we stopped taking your insurance in Jan. of this year after waiting since November for them to submit stuff correctly.
This is the most unprofessional place I have been to. I usually get my cleaning done on Spring Valley Road. I only came to this location to get a consultation for a wisdom teeth removal. After my consultation, they told me that I would have to pay $2000 for my wisdom teeth to be removed. I called my dental insurance and they said it was only suppose to be $500 out of my pocket. I asked them for a refund on the deposit I put down and they said that it was put towards my last cleaning service. Its so unprofessional to take money out of my deposit for a cleaning service. The worse part is that my dental insurance covered it in full. I called for 2 months now and no one is getting back to me. I finally was able to get in touch with Liz who said she will help me with this issue. Shes going to send me a check and make sure that everything is processed accordingly. Liz also said she was going to keep me posted weekly on where the process is at. I am thankful for her however, the company is taking so long to reimburse the money back to us.Liz needs a raise and she needs to find a place that will sincerely honor her work ethic. Seems like everyone else is just there for the paycheck...
Service rendered was good, BUT BEWARE OF QUESTIONABLE BILLING! I WAS SCAMMED .You pay in full upfront for service, and a month later you receive Bills. This happened on 2 occasions, I have filed complaints with the FTC.Their answer, we didnt charge right. My reponse: why the same amount 2 separate visits
I am super grateful that I went to Smile Builderz! I was scared to get my wisdom teeth and other teeth removed but they made it a painless process, answered all the questions I had they answered the and they are very nice from check in to the assistants! I will be coming back!
If I could give 0 stars I would. I went in for tooth pain that I knew needed a filling. Ive worked in dental for many years and have always kept on top of my teeth which is why I was shocked to hear I had 10-11 really bad cavities. I allowed them to do the one side and asked if I should call for a bite adjustment in which the efda told me I shouldnt need one. (Again weird, everyone in dental knows that when a patient is numb the bite can be off even the slightest without them knowing. ) crazy a few days later.. excruciating pain.. I called for a bite adjustment and was told that cavity was a 4 edges filling (she meant 4 surface.. kind of unprofessional when your call center doesnt know proper wording) and thats why i was in pain. I knew it was a bit adjustment because it was radiating into my jaw. I was also told by the efda while I was in there that they had a doctor who worked there that extracted and did work on the wrong teeth and how she was let go. That is not a conversation you should be having with patients, especially one about to have work done. Anyway, I thought something wasnt sitting right with me because they had told me before me daughter had a bunch of cavities which I had my old boss recheck and it wasnt true. I decided Ill go to him as well ... he detected no decay just some staining and also gave me a bite adjustment which eased my pain almost instantly. Lastly, a lot of their staff in the call center is rude and ready to go home as you can hear it in their voices. You also cant move appointments without asking that patient if this is ok for their schedule just to fit your schedule. This happens all the time from anywhere from 15 min to an hour. Then they tell you it was never moved even though you have the confirmation email that says otherwise... then it becomes a glitch in their system haha they work on the Dentrix program and that doesnt just happen. Unfortunately writing this does nothing except hopefully warn people of their scamming as they are too big of an office that takes state funded insurance. Hopefully I can spare a few people the headache.** By the way Ruth R. Who responds to these reviews. Did you ever once reach out to the bad reviews yourself? Call them because you are so concerned? Nope, not one Im sure... you definitely didnt bother to reach out to me to try and make it right. Truth is you dont care and your response to ever complaint and bad reviews always sounds about the same! Spare us all the fake we care bullcrap... we aint buying it.
This place is still strapping clients and guests wrists with temperature bands! What is the point of this exactly? I don’t need a band showing my temp. If I had a temp I’d be sent home so why does it matter I have this band on my wrist? And I don’t want to be touched by the person who’s putting the band on me. That’s not contactless service! Are you kidding me?! Who is in charge here? This is just more COVID nonsense! Stop the nonsense! Take the temp and be done with it! No more damn bands!
Great service. Never a complaint from me or my family
Shaina and Chase are amazing!! They go above and beyond to help their patients. They arent satisfied until their patients are, definitely glad I got to work with them!
I went in today and I had the best experience. I havent been to the dentist in 14 years and I was in the chair for 3 hours getting work done. Angelic was the most amazing and caring person. I swear I would not have remembered to breathe if it werent for her telling me to breath in and out through my nose. Her and the dentist were so compassionate when I had to take breaks and extremely kind. I kept asking questions and Angelic and Jessica (who filled my cavities) were so informative and professional. All three ladies who took care of me today were A+. Thank you smile builders!
My daughter loves it here! She’s been going here since she was 9 months old, and when she has a teeth cleaning, she always has the same dentist assistant (Danae). When she had a cavity filling 2 days ago, the doctors were very kind to her, and she said she didn’t feel any pain at all! Right now, my daughter is 9 years old, and she is always excited when she has a dentist appointment! Thank you.
If I could give them zero stars I would. Horrible service, horrible customer interactions. I would never recommend this facility to anyone.
I had a fabulous experience at the Crown Ave. office. The night before I was leaving for a trip my crown fell off my tooth. Of course it happens when my regular dentist’s office is closed. I went over to the Spring Valley Road location and was told when I got there that they were down a dentist and that he was already working 7 chairs and I had little to no chance of getting seen. Because I was desperate, I headed out to my car to wait. I was not in my car 5 minutes and a receptionist came out and told me the Crown Ave office could get me in right away. I buzzed over where Dayse the dental assistant was waiting to take me back. Dr. C came in and looked everything over after Dayse had taken x-rays. He cleaned up my crown and had it reinserted in a matter of minutes and I was on my way. From the front desk personnel to Dayse to Trent the gentleman handling billing to Dr. C it was a fabulous experience. Thank you so much for the high level of professionalism and quick service. 😊
Your front office staff is the most disrespectful group of people I have ever come in contact with. They are talking and laughing about patients. Making rude comments about them. I am very thankful that I am not a patient here, I am here as transportation for a patient.
Ive had a pretty poor experience with the oral surgery department. After scheduling consults months in advance the Smilebuilderz contacted me less than 48 hours before our consult to cancel our appointment and reschedule me another 6 weeks out.On a separate occasion I had an appointment cancelled 20 min before a scheduled surgery.
Wow! What can I say- one of the best experiences I have ever had when having work done!! I work out of town and so thankful I was about to get in touch with them to have a tooth removed- I see that there was some people leaving reviews complaining.... I guess u have that from some people.... but I think you can’t appreciate a good experience and people that really care until u have been thur bad experiences.... I hope that if I need anything done again I’m in the area because I know where I will be... Thanks again :)
The overall office was really clean on the plus side and the dental assistant that worked with me was reassuring; but the wait time was absolutely insane and not worth it. The estimated price for my root canal was over $2000 with insurance, after checking with my insurance and reaching out I got the root canal done elsewhere for $500. Smile builders couldn’t explain why the root canal cost so much or why it needed to be done in three separate appts..I figured after a few months I’d give them another try; could’ve just been a bad experience. So I called, the lady who answered the phone sounded like she ran a 7 Eleven in the hottest pit of Hell. After answering all questions and scheduling for a new appt she asked for my insurance (which had changed from job loss) once I told her my new insurance I was told, “we don’t take that.” And instantly heard the phone click off. This place has some very miserable staff and a lot of chaos when it comes to professionalism.
There are like 3 or 4 different smilebuilderz offices in this building. I was just having a cleaning so I went to the one of the left before you go up the stairs. I arrived 30 minutes before my appointment I had a prior appointment or else I never would have went that early. You will not get in early so I will maybe be 5 minutes early next time I go. They dont have private rooms in this office it just has dividers. I could hear everything that was going on with other patients from what they were suffering from, there height, weight, blood pressure etc. I dont really like that. You have no privacy here whatsoever. If it wasnt for that I would give them 5 stars. They did an excellent job cleaning my teeth.
Dr. Skiadas and Dr. Nic are the best. Overall great service by the staff. Very professional, thorough, and friendly. Highly recommended for all your dental and orthodontics needs.
Very unprofessional workplace. Check in girls wouldnt stop talking to each other when I showed up for my appointment. Service inside was okay, assistant was nice.
They refuse to do a root canal on my 9 year old daughter.
Don’t ever go here for braces. My front teeth are in danger of falling out because of rushed treatment years ago.
Moving to pa I thought it was going to be difficult to find a dentist that is good. Honestly they’re the BEST . My experience has been wonderful every time. Dr. Parks is great & very caring ... definitely 5 stars !!! definitely the best dentist I’ve ever been to!
I called to Cancel my daughters appointment, while on the phone, the lady convinced me to bring her to be seen, I show up to the appointment and it was canceled. I explained our conversation to the lady checking us in and asked to speak to a manager. They said the manager was in a meeting, I asked for a card. He came back while she was looking for one but conveniently has a meeting and couldnt speak with me. Unfortunately these type of places take advantage of people who have state insurance.
The worst and most unprofessional service I’ve ever received. They constantly reschedule when absolutely needing to be seen, they drag their feet and all of their receptionists are rude. They aren’t consistent in what treatments you need and their after-care for oral surgery is a joke. The manager, Jim, is the worst and wouldn’t even apologize when they made mistake after mistake! I’ll admit I was obviously frustrated but if their customer service was actually how great as they claim; I wouldn’t have been so angry. Their oral surgeon left when I had an appointment scheduled and it was “my fault” when it was the front desk dragging their feet. If I could give it a zero I would and I will be looking for a new dentist ASAP. Thanks for nothing
I cannot explain how happy I am for being their patient!Everyone in there are so friendly and so professional! So much better than other dentist office!
If I could give a zero, I would. This place has not been helpful at all. First did nothing to fix my tooth a filling came out of because they claimed they couldnt verify my insurance. Then when I had wanted them to just pull the tooth because of all the pain, they refused until I got more information for my insurance so they could quote a root canal. I gave them all that information the same day which was a week ago and no one has called me back about a quote or appointment. When I called about it I kept getting transferred and still have not heard a thing. Now that I have tried to go else where and called to have them send my xrays (I paid 400 dollars for) over and even offered to drive there to sign a release they claimed they can only send xrays on the first of the month Thank you for absolutely nothing but bankrupting me.
Alyssa Kirsten and Dr. Chung make a great team and I would recommend for all of your hard dental needs. Alyssa went so out of her way to comfort and support me through some emotional and put off dental work and truly made all the difference in the work done.
Can you give less then a one star bc I would. I spoke to them on the phone yesterday about my boyfriend needing oral surgery and that we have a referral from the dentist they said oh yes we can get him in tomorrow at 8:50. He is unable to open his jaw and is in a ton of pain. I told them this is a 45 min drive to get to them. The lady told me that they would take care of it no problem even asked if he needed to be put to sleep or just novacaine. Well after the 45 min drive and an hour in the office for X-rays and seeing the dentist they tell us they are not oral surgery and we need to go somewhere else. Are you kidding me.
This place has rescheduled me five times because of corona👀😊🤔.I have completely impacted wisdom teeth now since May of 2019. We had a death in my family causing me to not be able to take care of scheduling right away by the time I was able to schedule in January/February 2020 corona had struck .Because this clinic prioritizes the care of themselves above the care of their patients they rescheduled me around five times. I have been to the ER, and had to get shots because of the severe pain. They put me on tramydol but said that’s not sustainable. I regularly have to take extremely high doses of Tylenol to manage the pain. Last time I took I Tylenol it took twelve extra strength pills and one sleep aid to manage it.I got on their video appointment after explaining I was not techy but I would try . The connection beeped in and out the majority of the entire time and no one could here me well even though we could see each other. The Surgeon had the option to use a phone to communicate that worked well as I was on that first. After the failed appointment by the surgeon they called me back saying I would have to reschedule for October. Their is no excuse for this level of terrible service toward patients.I have a referral from somewhere else to them and two sets of exrays proving my teeth are completely impacted, plus they have copies of my er papers. This offices disregard towards its patients,is atrocious.
You know what? This place Is pretty decent. My doc fixed me up real well, I was nervous because he looked young but he showed that he had the skill. Haven’t had any pain since I left! That’s something you don’t find everywhere. Thank you.
The services I received I am very pleased with & look forward to the end result of him wearing braces, the Staff are very friendly as well as professional, my child was in and out in a timely manner, and it looks great inside. “TONJOLA”Lebanon, PA
This place takes forever to get things done. Was supposed to get my wisdom teeth out tomorrow and I spoke to them two times this week and they said it’s still on. Today I get a call saying it’s cancelled and rescheduled for April 24th! I need this surgery done in order to finish a root canal that was found back in NOVEMBER. May have to wait till summer to finish everything. Ridiculous.
I call to schedule a cleaning ... oh... we dont do cleanings for people over the age of 20 and oh no, we dont do any cleanings for new patients... i can have you come get x-rays taken, but i cant have you come get a cleaning ..- so im over here like why would i need x-rays ... i dont need x-rays, i need a cleaning!! so, in my opinion, In order to get a cleaning as a new patient, we would just need you to come complete an exam and have some x-rays taken prior to scheduling a cleaning would have been a viable explanation!
All of the staff is rude with the exception of the one Asian dentist and the anesthesiologist (they are nice). They don’t mind making you wait for hours at a time but heaven forbid your 5 minutes late, they cancel your appt. On a positive note, the place is nice/clean and high tech and that’s what keeps me coming back.
There are a lot of mixed reviews here, but heres one from a pediatric point of view:I was flossing my 4 year old daughters back molars and her filling popped out. Shes only had it 6 months. Since its currently COVID protocol as of this writing, my daughters primary dentist would not get back to us (very frustrating!) My insurance directed me to Smilebuilderz. They scheduled her that evening. Her existing pediatric dentistry down the street didnt allow me to be in the room when the original filling was out in, but Smilebuilderz allowed me to. They were quick and very kind to my daughter. The assistant even gave her a little stuffed piggie after the procedure.I just wish the dentist had warned the both of us that she might bite her lip because she bit the heck out of it because it was numb. All in all, a good experience.Note, are there ANY dentist offices that dont have expanded duty for Dental Assistants?!? I come from a state where they dont have this. All the work Ive had done have been replacements of fillings and have repeatedly fallen out (just as my daughters has!) And they were filled by dental assistants. The ones by dentists have stayed.
This is the worst experience I’ve ever had. DO NOT trust these hacks with your children
The scheduling and office administration is horrible. I got a call at 3:40 pm telling me that if I didnt complete a link they texted to me in the next 20 minutes, that they would cancel my appointment. Then, on the day of my appointment, I was told that the surgeon looked at my chart and decided that he needed more time, so I was called up and told that I had to reschedule.
I have nothing but good experience from the girlsIn the front desk to the checkout, really friendly. and helpful, I would recommend .
This place has is goods Im sure, but being im not a patient there my wife is or may say was till today may 21st, she has been in serious pain over her tooth, enough that it has gotten me involved in this situation, with her restless nights, eating abilities and day to day struggles to try and help the best i can, this has been going on since December. She has state insurance wich is fine for someone that needs it beings we both work but just dont make a fortune. But too keep pushing weeks along weeks and now even months to get this taken care off . Its hurting our everyday life wirth t b is situation as it has became a conversation over dinner, these doctors dont deserve the credit for what they do to have someone crying in pain in front of them to just say sorry you are gonna have to wait another week, and kick you out the door nothing to even help to dull her pain. To me I guess some ppl beings as this doctor dont have any heart for there patients and just doing it for the salary. Id say much more but just like for some to read this review and take this as a husband dealing with his wifes day to day pain, the dentists aids should be getting paid for whT the doctors do as they show they care for someone, good job aids and nurses there,
I had my very first root canal tonight and I was terrified. I was literally shaking when I walked into the office. The minute I was taken back to my chair, I expressed my concerns and was assured it would be pain free and comfortable. Dr. Stein performed my root canal and it was exceptional. I felt nothing and if I did have any discomfort, he was on top of it. I had a tricky canal that did not want to open and cooperate and he slowly kept working on it. In the end the process was successful and was one relieved girl. He talked me through the process and was very funny. His assistant was amazing (Sorry...I dont remember her name) and between the two of them (and a T.V) I was occupied. I was actually surprised when he said he was finished. Please dont be scared. Dr. Stein will go out of his way to make sure you have the best experience possible. Thank you so much!!
I am terrified of the dentist, any dentist. This place is fantastic. It actually was so much better than I imagined. Everyone there is so nice and the dentist I had was so gentle I couldnt believe it when he said, Ok, all done. Thank you Smilebuilderz
Smilebuilderz is a great place to go to - and I hate the dentist! Tiff and Dr. Sulc put me at ease and take their time dealing with my dental issues, as they know my anxieties. The front desk staff is friendly, as well as the care coordinators - shout out to Lindsay and Kim! The wait time can be a while, but they do their best in a super busy office! I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thank you all!
Very happy with their overall expertise and also their high level of understanding patient comfort. Had Alyssa as my EFDA and had a great experience. She is very good at her job and I would highly recommend her and this entire practice to anyone.
Thank you to Dr. Chun and Alyssa Kirsten. First and foremost for helping me with my almost overwhelming fear of getting my first tooth filling with kindness and patience and second for doing such a great job on the actual work done. Everything is doing great and I truly thank you very much for the encouragement to do what needed to be done and for doing it perfectly.
I absolutely love this place. I have gone to Smilebuilderz several times over the past year now, and I have always received amazing service. The people there really are personable and let me know what theyre doing to my mouth and if something really does need to be done. I cannot thank them enough for all the work they do.
No assembly line dentistry here; everyone is treated with respect. We travel an hour and a half to have a child friendly dentist. With four children and various needs, we are able to come to one location for bi-yearly cleanings, endodontic evaluations, and orthodontics.More important to our family, mom or dad (and three siblings) have always been allowed to accompany the current patient to appointments!
Great staff very friendly. They will be able to take care of your needs whatever they are. The one issue I do have has to do with billing rarely is what Im charged and what my insurance says Im suppose to pay right. Now this always gets fixed but gets frustrating for me as I just want to pay what I owe not owe more or have a credit next time. This however does not take away from the care and expertise that you receive from them.
They are great with my kids, even my 4 year old son who is not very cooperative. My 6 year old daughter loves going and they are so nice to both of them. I had my wisdom teeth taken out by them and it was so easy and smooth, the healing process was wonderful too! I go to the Crown Ave office and they are always very polite and I have no issues with getting through on the phone with them!
I have been looking and asking around for a dependable dentist after my last one passed away years ago. Woke up with badddd tooth pain recently. I called this place. When I heard that they could take me that day I went in! Great fast booking and they took care of my tooth pain. I really appreciate the time that my new doctor took in making sure I was completely ok. He took a full exam and even took care or more in that appointment than I expected. My doctor was professional and very nice. I think his name started with the letter V. I’m going to tell my cousin to go him. Thank you Smilebuilders
Went there with a dental emergency on a Saturday. from the time I walked through the door I had a great experience. The gentleman checked me in was very warm & positive. Then I had Irina the assistant & she was great. Best of all was DR MYERS. I felt no pain & became so emotionally relaxed that I began to dose off. She is a fantastic female dentist & I highly recommend her to anyone. Then connie & Irina finished up & I checked out. Everyone was up beat, professional & positive attitudes. Even at the end of the day no one was rushing to get you done & out. I highly recommend this practice. If you already take care of your teeth I assure, you will have a great & pain free experience. Fabulous!!!
I had just walked in without an appointment for an emergency visit. As soon as I walked in, the atmosphere was nice and inviting. They have a small kids play area and the receptionists were very nice. The dentist and dental assistant are extremely friendly and put you at ease. Would recommend to anyone!!
I recently went to Smilebuilderz with problems that were causing me major anxiety. I have never been to a dental office where everyone had this level of care, compassion, and understanding. Everyone was friendly, polite, and extremely helpful, especially my team comprised of Dr. Park, Lauren Palm, and Reyna Gonzalez. I highly recommend Smilebuilderz to anyone in need of great dental care, and look forward to my future appointments. I cant wait to see my team again. They are true professionals. I feel like I made new friends and that my well being is definitely their number one concern. I love this place!
Kelsey was very thorough and professional. It was the second time I had her and I was very pleased with the service she provided. She was very knowledgeable and gave me great advice about how to take care of my teeth. The staff was also very friendly and my appointment was on time.
Such an Amazing Place... If you suffer from high anxiety or had a bad past experience at your previous dentist well let me just say that Dr. Diaz is a blessing he took his time to get to know me and my concerns and as a High Anxiety Patient Thats a Plus.. As I was approaching the dental chair my nerves were shot but Dr. Diaz made me feel comfortable and the Dental work went smoothly with him asking me if I was ok as he worked.. Believe me I went pain free from beginning to end and thats a big deal to me. ☺
I was impressed with the true customer experience. Everyone was helpful and engaged. It appears that the culture is one that fosters genuine care and concern and encourages happy faces and, of course, happy smiles. It was so nice to be told that I have such a beautiful smile-they said I was a very good parent and was instilling same good habits with my 17 year old son.Very positive experience.
I am very pleased with the Smilebuiderz team and atmosphere of the office. The entire staff was very friendly and went out of there way to make sure I was comfortable and being taken care of in a professional/friendly manner. This is the best dentist that I have been to and will continue to go here. The entire staff was wonderful - from the front door check in gal, to the dentist and all in between. Thanks for your great care. I will be back again!!
This was honestly the most gentle and comfortable dental appointment I have ever had. I had my first root canal appointment just a day ago. I felt nothing. They were downright amazing! I will definitely be returning for any further dental work!
I believe that this was the BEST experience that I have ever had at a dentist! From the time I walked in the door, the atmosphere was awesome, the people were awesome, and the service was awesome!! My children had fillings and a root canal started, and can not wait to go back to the dentist. They said it didnt hurt at all!! I love this place, and they also have many cavity prevention products to purchase there for a reasonable amount of money. I will definitely be back!! Thank You, to everyone there for making this a pleasant trip to the dentist for my children!!!
We have always had excellent service at Smilebuilderz! The staff is well trained, friendly and professional. George is always there with a friendly smile and always finds a way to help. The dentists and the technicians always explain what is going to happen and are friendly, too. Would recommend Smilebuilderz to anyone and everyone!
My adult daughter had the worst experience tonight at her visit. First Smilebuilderz needed to reschedule the appt so she didn’t end up with the dentist she was 1st scheduled with. I explained she needed someone patient and that she is very fearful of the dentist. I was told this dr was very easy going. WHAT. What an awful experience. DR. VILLA DIEGO is mean and insensitive. Do not go to him unless you have a high pain tolerance. My daughter had the gas and novocaine for her fillings. She cried and was squirming while he continued to drill. He never stopped to give her a break. He NEVER even said we are almost done can you hang in there. Nothing. He didn’t say 1 word. No professionalism or bedside manner. No kindness at all. Didn’t turn up the gas for her. It has been years of my daughter trying to get more trusting at the dentist. She has had some great dentists that have really helped her in the past by making sure she wasn’t in pain. They’d ask her if she was ready and if she felt anything. They were in tune to her. This dentist was not at all. How horrific. I am in awe that in 2020 Doctors can be so insensitive especially when it’s not hard to take a break and offer more gas and more novocaine. If it’s not numb you should do something. I cannot even imagine this terrible mean doctor performing something like a root canal. I’m so sorry I was not in there with her. I would of never let it just continue.
Dr Nic is a great orthodontist!! I’ve had my braces since December 2018 and I haven’t had any issues at all! Dr Nic always makes sure I’m comfortable and aware of what is going to happen and he is always willing to answer whatever questions I have which can sometimes be a lot because my anxiety for the dentist is extremely bad! Definitely recommend this orthodontist!
Nice dentist and back office staff, very professional bed side manner. Answered all our questions. Front desk horrible. Too bad they have no customer service training. Extremely rude. Makes for a bad experience. I wonder if this is how they wish to be treated. sad
The actual tooth operation (wisdom tooth extraction) went well. But the post operation is what my issue is. I asked the receptionist to give my prescription order to the closest CVS, which is literally 2 minutes from the office. When I was ready to go I asked if it was at that CVS and she said “the one of Lititz Pike”, so I go there and the pharmacist has no record of it, and tried to get in contact with the correct CVS but cannot, so then she sends me to another CVS nearby (I asked for a proper address but she couldn’t provide for whatever reason). So I get to the next close by CVS, it’s the wrong one... at this point I’m angry because my mouth is full of blood soaked gauze and I can’t get my meds. This CVS employee finally sends me to the proper CVS, which was 15-20 minutes away from the office! (When there were 2 within minutes of it)At the final CVS I had to wait an additional 30 minutes for the order because they were backed up (the only CVS of the 3 I visited to be busy)I wasted in total about 1:30hrs with all this running around, when it could’ve been easily avoided (the pharmacist said the actual order is quick to make)Needless to say, I’m disappointed in the receptionist’s service. The actual doctor n nurse were great.
Painless, Affordable, Friendly! I have had many bad experiences with dentists in my past, so Im hesitant to go. BUT I broke a tooth and my regular dentist (whom I wont be seeing anymore) couldnt take me for several days. Smilebuilderz said theyd work me into their schedule sometime the same day. I had to wait a few hours, but that was a small price to pay for same-day service. Everyone (even the other patients) was so friendly that the time just flew by anyway. This is the first time I could say that I felt absolutely no pain (not even the numbing shot) and it only took one shot to get me numb (usually takes at least 3). Dr. Park and Sakara, her assistant, actually made me laugh during the procedure. I was surprised at the affordable prices too. I will definitely be a patient here from now on!
My daughter (age 12) was in for a consultation last week, the staff was very courteous. The Doctor and hygienist explained the procedure very well, so I could understand what the process will be and how long it will take to straighten her teeth. Even though we traveled from York, PA, it was worth it!
I love this place. Ive spent all my life in fear of Dentists and all procedures they do. I wish I would have gotten my teeth extracted here, I did however come to Smilebuilderz for my Dentures. It did take several trips 1 1/2 hours one way but Well worth the time and gas. Im smiling again and just so happy. A perfect fit and look. Wow. Dr. Mohetan (sp.) Was great. His assistant ANGELIQUE was so helpful, calming, patient, she was the bomb. Hey girl, love them. She wasnt there my last trip. But let me a note 😆. The assistant my last day was good as well. I will highly recommend...
Today I was attended by Dr. Joe Attza to have all my wisdom tooth taken out. He did an excellent job. I was well attended by everyone. They were caring and answered all my question. During the procedure I felt no pain and it only took him 5 minutes each side, which was quick and flawless. Id like to thank him and I recommend everyone nearby to visit Smilebuilderz. And for Dr. Joe, thanks buddy!
This is the best dental office I have ever been to! I have always been hesitant to go to the dentist and now I am not scared anymore. For the first time in my life I had a painless appointment. My dentist is Dr. Chung and he is so nice and actually cares about the quality of the work done in the office. The staff is so friendly and helpful, Shaquana actually did the filling and kept me so entertained and shes an awesome person as well so now I always look forward to my dentist appointments! Highly recommended!
I walked in needing repair to a cracked tooth/filling and was greeted warmly by the receptionist who helped me complete the necessary forms. Minimal wait for me to be seen even as a walk in and very friendly service. Dr. DeLisa Williams and her team did a great job repairing my tooth and it looks better than ever. I am scheduled for a normal appointment and am happy to say the treatment I received as a walk in has lead to me being a regular patient.Nice job!
I had not been to the dentist in awhile and had severe pain in a tooth so I went to Smilebuilderz since the they take walk-ins. Glad I did! I ended up getting Dr. Torres as the dentist and he is AWESOME! Turns out I needed a root canal and crown, so not exactly a pleasant result but Dr. Torres was great to work with as well as every assistant who worked with him. Jody was the last one and she was great. I am going to make Dr. Torres my regular dentist and start going on a regular basis to see him and Smilebuilderz. I also notice several people have said the scheduling was sometimes difficult. I had 3 different appointments for the Root Canal, Building and Temp Crown and Permanent Crown and I never waited more than 5 minutes to be called into my appointment. Was very pleased with the experience.
I liked it at first but then my Dr wanted to pull all my teeth when I was there for a broken tooth extraction to the tune of $30,000.00. Also my son was scheduled in December for a visit in June, I didnt receive a post card or anything to remind us. I did get a call the day after his appointment to notify me that i owed smile-builders $50.00 because of a missed appointment. Kind of killed the vibe for me after that.
I wouldnt even give them one star! They had an appointment for my husband to get a full mouth extraction and due to them running 1 hour and 15 mins behind they used his seizures as an excuse to not do his surgery! Even tho he has medical clearances from his dr and neurologist!!! What a crock and when I wanted a reason the hygentist was extremely rude . These people are unprofessional
They provide excellent dental services but there is no privacy for patients, its divided (cubicle) but not by walls or doors, parents sit in a small low chair in the corner, you hear others patients conversations, vitals, etc. Front desk in each office/floor has no privacy when discussing payment arrangement or cost of services. Some dental assistant have no experience or no patience dealing with special needs children. Customer service skills are very important over the phone, you are the image of the office.
Want to thank Dr. Attia and Kim C. for a Great visit. All around, I felt very comfortable and at ease. Something I never felt in any other dentists chair. The extraction was quick and easy, and everything was great from the reception to the checkout. Thank you everyone.
2 years after my visits, three out of the four crowns I received at this office need to be replaced. I received a root canal and crown, the tooth had to be extracted less then a year later due to infection. The second crown on my molar cracked. I also found out that the third crown was not set properly and has a gap allowing for bacteria growth and will definitely cause me more problems and money down the road. The doctor I was seeing was clearly over booked and stressed out. I feel the options that were presented to me at the time were not a good long term fit for me. Almost everything has to be redone. This is very frustrating, painful and traumatic. I spent thousands of dollars at this dentist with terrible results.
I am a Lancaster, PA native. When I was 10, my front bottom tooth needed a root canal. Because the dentist assumed the tooth was strong enough, no crown was placed on it. Ten or more years had passed and I was in my student teaching placement when, during lunch, my bottom right tooth chipped in half! I was distressed and mortified in front of the high school students that day. Luckily, I was able to hide the chipped tooth well enough for the students not to see. That afternoon, the Smilebuilderz team performed a re-treat, post and core buildup and, placed a permanent crown on that tooth. I was so impressed with the level of efficiency, patient care and professionalism that I continued coming back. I would highly recommend this dental office to ANYONE seeking ANY level of dental care. They are the best.
Dr. Joe is wonderful! He pulled my tooth and I had no idea it was out! Staff is always friendly and helpful! Excellent service and Dr. Joe has a great sense of humor. I hated the dentist until I came here! Thank you! !!
My daughter and I both go to the office off rt741. It is a very friendly office. They explain everything they are doing, show you where the problems are and give you solutions. I am very pleased. I recommend Smilebuilderz to friends and family.
I just left here upset because I made an appointment for today at 7:00 p.m. Only to find out they cancel my appointment with out my knowledge And still would not see me even though it was Theyre Error. The staff was Unprofessional and need to be retrained. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me and I will never return.
