The female at the front desk wasnt very nice, she can sure use some people skills classes on how to treat people like me? Im Spanish! She was very rude and she made me feel uncomfortable being there! I was there to get help for my car. If there was a zero to rate her I would have given her a zero score!!

My experiences with auto collision establishments have differed over the years and I must say this has been by far the smoothest and most enjoyable interaction Ive ever had. TLDR: Go here. This crew will make sure you are taken care of 100%. Legit my new favorite repair shop in Colorado.Longer Version: I recently had the catalytic converter stolen off my 2015 Prius. This repair required a few trips back to Gerber, not by any fault of theirs. This car is known for finnicky sensors and extended repair times. Whats important is they made sure I was taken care of with zero fuss. In particular JD and Brian made sure I was afforded full disclosure and transparency on my repairs, while Kim was able to secure parts months (not days, not weeks, but *MONTHS*) ahead of schedule! Throughout each of my visits, I overheard these folks talking to their customers with the same care and attention to details that they afforded me. Literally can’t say enough good things about this place. The first time I came in for an estimate Kim came out and it was like we had been friends for years. She was so timely when booking my appointment. She contacted the other insurance agency promptly to get what we needed. I dropped my car off on a Monday and she told me it’d be done Friday. I let her know I would be going out of town on Friday and she got it done early on Thursday for me 😭 her and JD (also SO great) were there late so I could pick it up. I had a nightmare on my hands because of my insurance provider. Kim was very helpful throughout the whole process of the repairs while updating me twice a week. They were always able to give me proper updates and never gave me any false information. I would highly recommend Gerber and Kim to help with any collision repairs.

My elderly father was in an accident and we picked Gerber Collision for the repairs and body work. His car is a 2011 Mercedes Benz and it now looks like a brand new car! He is so thrilled with the results and the customer service was superb. Bryan, the manager was very communicative and the guys who did the work went above and beyond. We would highly recommend this business to anyone needed help with their car.
I was quoted high and when it came down to paying for the work to be done, it was far less. Plus, they fixed my brake light at no extra charge as well as tire shined my wheels and possible even vacuumed out my car a bit! My car looks so good now and everyone was super nice! Highly recommend going here for body work at least! That’s what I had done. They even quoted that it would take up to 3 days to complete the work and they had it finished for me in 5 hours! Amazing!!
NopeMonths later I am still finding things wrong with their hail repair job but I wont be taking it back there. I did take it back a few times as I found more things wrong with it but finally had enough. The person I was dealing with (manager?) would lie to my face and when I called him on it would just move on. He wouldnt even acknowledge the lie he had just told me. The body lines were wavy roof looked horrible in spots. By far the worst part was the first time I went to pick it up the hood was so warped the edges didnt even line up (picture is the hood from the driver seat the first time I picked it up). I had to take it back and leave it. When I went to pick it up the hood was still tacky. When I voiced my concern and said I was willing to wait for it to dry properly I was told it would be fine. I didnt open the hood for a few weeks and when I did, it ripped out all the rubber because it had become stuck when it was still wet. I just noticed last night the weather stripping on the back was put in wrong and isnt even. Going forward I will wait to take my Challenger to the dealership no matter how busy they are.

Someone put a big dent in my passenger side rear door in a parking and didnt leave a note. I stopped by Auto Body at 1240 Harlen st and they wouldnt even look at it without an appointment even though there were ppl standing around. So, went to Gerber collision in Lakewood on colfax and the GM, Wes said he could help me out after I told him I was looking for work with Uber and couldnt have a dent in my car. They pulled the dent out in 30 mins and it looks like it never happened! Great guys here and super nice. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a body shop. ..and the coffee is great too!! 😊 Thanks Wes and your team... youre the best!!
The work was fine and the relationship they have with the rent car companies is very nice.However, if I didnt have a rental car I think I would have been more upset at there communication. I dropped my car off on Saturday and they called me during the week to tell me that theyre working on it, which I appreciated. Then on Thursday they called and said they were working on it still and they would call me when it was done. Then on Monday I get a call asking me when I was going to pick up my vehicle? I said I wasnt told it was finished so how would I know to come pick it up? They said it had been done sense Friday! So if I was paying for my rental car (not my insurance) or was having to taxi to work I would have been out a lot of money for 3 extra days of them having my car because they forgot to call me.I also had a bottle of wine taken (from a wrapped gift bag, the gift bag was left behind) and my emergency $20 of cash that I keep in my car taken from my vehicle. Yes, I do take fault in leaving those things in my car and I know they are not liable. However, this is a reflection of the shop and there employees and makes me not trust them with my business.****UpdateGerber contacted me immediately after I posted this review and made it right. They felt bad and reflected that this is not how they run there business and would be happy to reimburse me. Kim was extremely kind and very willing to help!
I went to get an estimate on my car and the individuals helping me were extremely unprofessional and had me wait for a half hour before I could see anyone. Then it took them a week to submit to insurance and anytime I would call to talk to them I was put on hold and they were laughing and unprofessional. Needless to say I am not taking my car to Gerber for repairs nor would I recommend to anyone.

This place has honestly has made my life hell. Please save yourself money and time and your sanity by not going to this place. I got in a car accident and was told to bring my car here, I pick up my car and it dies in my parking garage because they didnt turn a censor off. I bring my car back and as Im driving my breaks are dangerously shaking, mind you I got my breaks done a few months before. Then I open up my car and there are childrens books in my back seat.... I do not have any kids nor am I spending anytime with kids right now. They tell me that this is because things get mixed up sometimes... so how do I know all of my belongings are safe? Poor excuse, try again. They refuse obviously to take any blame and I have had multiple people tell me that they have had to get their car work re-done because of this ridiculously terrible place. This place should not be in business. Oh and my car is dead again! thanks so much Gerber!!!!

Ive had to take both of my vehicles to get repairs done, and both time my vehicles came out just like new. Staff is friendly and worked with my Insurance in a timely manner. I highly recommend this place if your vehicle is need of repairs.
The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because the start of my experience was rough. I have to say that the manager Wes stepped up and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Everyone makes mistakes but to its all in how you resolve the issue and Wes really took care of me. He got me in and took extra care to make sure my repair was done right. Even with the issues in the beginning I would definitely recommend their team to anyone needing a repair.
Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Was directed here as a preferred shop by my insurance. Terrible customer service, delays, and lack of response during the repair process. If at the very least get a second opinion somewhere else because they are shady, and may be polite up front but the fact I did not pay the bill and am saying this should speak volumes.
Left my car with em for a while; now it makes a clunking sounds upon breaking, squeels and grinds while breaking.Electrical system is acting up triggering random flashes when I turn off the car - told you not to mess with the lights. Not a go to shop ever again. They want to charge me to diagnose it no such investigative pre maintenance report nor follow up report they just eyeballed it. JERKS.Complete bull in addition the staff managed to yell at me for asking questions. They even have me a condescending and defensive tone. Never again with this chain. They even went so far as to insinuate that my 4 year old car was some decrepit and aged clunker. Wrong and incorrect I hope your chain fails.I already conveyed my complaint however it is more about helping them back out of responsibility. Theres no real integrity with These People. And I kept getting bad control looks from these jerks when I tried to converse about the problem. Passive aggressively hostile.My complaint is not unique Ive found similar comments. you guys have something going on here in some ambiguous way. I hope you figure your crap out.If I wanted to get jerked around I would have gone to the jerk from Apple Motors on Harlan and 38th. Thanks for being less responsible than a great old man willing to lie and do unnecessary work.
Update: I had an issue with my hatch switch not working a few months after repair. I brought it back to the shop and was sooo happy when they replaced the switch under warranty and helped me with being in a rental car. The whole time my car was in the shop again, they were responsive to my emails/calls and got things fixed quickly. They truly do honor their work and make sure that you are happy when all is said and done. Kudos to management.This is a busy shop, but they take care of their customers. Another review says the receptionist and manager are rude but I disagree. I was also referred by Safeco after being rear ended, and found that everyone at this shop has excellent customer service skills. They have worked very closely with me to ensure that my less-than-a-year-old car looks brand new again. Many thanks to Luis & CO.

After this years massive hail storm I set up an appointment with Gerber. I spoke to multiple body shops I was happily surprised how quickly theyd be able to get me in (two month wait). When I arrived for my drop off appointment they had lost my insurance information & told me it would be an additional few weeks they would need my vehicle or I could reschedule. I opted to reschedule for Sept, now another few month wait. less then 24 hours prior to my Sept appointment they called to tell me they had to many vehicles in their lot and were going to need to reschedule me again for October. If their scheduling is that sloppy I can only imagine the work they are putting out. Ill never know, found another shop
Had these guys work on my subaru after an insurance claim. I expected generic service and a slow wait since there was a massive hail storm a fews days before. Not only did they do a great job, but my car was done 2 days early. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Definitely coming back for all future repairs!!!
Honestly find another company to do your collision work through. This place has terrible customer service and is nothing but a hassle. I went there the first time to get an estimate, but had to make an appointment. Ok, thats fine. Made the appoint for TWO cars! I go in for that appointment and it was made for a day the hail specialist wasnt in the office. Why the employee made it for that day I have no idea... Then I get to my appointment and it ends up only being for ONE car. Go get the estimate, and was told they would email me the estimate. It is now a week and half later and I have no estimate price, and I cant even get ahold of the actual store because I keep getting transferred to the national call center when I call the number on Google. This place has been nothing but a hassle and an absolute waste of time. The General Manager doesnt even have any idea what he is doing. Absolutely ridiculous.
I never write reviews, but no matter what you do, under any circumstance should you take your vehicle in here. I could start to list the issues but I have neither the time nor the space to fit it all in. If you have safe-co insurance, as I DID, do not get suckered in to working with this group.

STOLEN CAR & GM MAKING THREATS!! TERRIBLE DO NOT GET YOUR CAR WORKED ON BY THESE PEOPLE. First thing this morning my wife gets a call from Roy the GM (not the owner even though he claims to be) that her car has been STOLEN from their shop. So my wife gets upset with Roy.....because her car was stolen and we have personal information in the car like our address and garage door opener. She starts to yell at Roy, because he tells her they forgot to set the alarm, but it was only two cars that were stolen. My wife is crying and yelling at him, so Roy starts to laugh at my wife, and he says I dont know why you are so upset it was a company car...maybe because these criminals have our address and garage door opener (Roy isnt the sharpest tool in the shed, but tool is appropriate in describing him). This is where it gets interesting. So I also have my truck being worked on at Gerber and so I call Roy and asked him if my car was stolen too, because it seems like a theme over there at Gerber. He immediately gets defensive and annoyed that I am calling. I explain to him that my wifes car was stolen and I am calling to see if my car was stolen but he cant grasp it and keeps saying I dont need to be yelled at by you too. I then said obviously you do because you are an idiot and bad at your job. He goes on to tell me to come on down so we can settle this like men, and I said are you serious I am a customer and he said no your wife is, so i said I have my truck there too. He then tells me again why dont you come down here and prove how tough you really are. Soooooo I drove down there to get my keys and tell them to stop work on my truck and to also remind Roy that he is an idiot. Instead of Roy following up on his threats when he was a telephone tough guy he locks himself in his office and calls the police....hahahahaha. Long and short of it the cops got my car out of this terrible place for me and I made a couple phone calls to corporate, because lets be honest Roy struggles in the customer service department. DO NOT GET YOUR CAR FIXED HERE, UNLESS YOU WANT THE GM TO TRY AND KICK YOUR A$$ OVER THE PHONE, OR THE POSSIBILITY OF YOUR CAR GETTING STOLEN!!
Very disappointed with this company ! After the crazy hail damage I had chose this place to do all my repairs a few weeks after I took in my car to get some clean up done in my interior to clean up the glass that was broken and the interior cleaning looked like they just vacuumed and not even so great of a job they did, their was still pieces of glass in my trunk and inside my car but since water had gotten in my car I kind of expected them to clean my seats since thats what insurance people had written down but no they didnt I could have done what they did if I would have known, second we got our windows fixed well guess what the window wasnt sealed correctly so I got more water damage in my interior !! They were suppose to come out today to fix it well guess what their guy person called in and rescheduled me to Wednesday ! So I took the morning off for no reason very fustrated and dissapointed especially after getting your car destroyed from the hail I really would have wished I could be stress free but no this is even more stress because Im still waiting to get my windows fixed and Im not getting my hail damage fixed here I can only imagine how that will look.
They forgot to order parts to repair my car...such a great service!!!!!
After 9 weeks in the shop, my car is still far from pre-accident. I have been lied to, delayed over and over again, and basically not offered quality service. Stay away if you can (my insurance made me use them)!
Scheduled my appointment back in May, showed up today and they lost me in their system and didnt order anything for my car. Now Im supposed to drive around for a month in a car that cant go on the highway. The receptionist was rude, her manager was rude, whatever you do dont go to this shop
