Horrible experience not only did i get burnt by the drill several times i also got cut by it on 4 of my fingers… i should of left after the 2nd time i got burnt by the drill.. all the supplies wasnt sterilized everything had nail dust all over it… still ended up paying 45.00 for a poor job.. i will not be back to this location. Now have to let my fingers heal to have this mess taken off and redone elsewhere…they dont even allow time for the nails to dry they use a fan it smudged alot at this point i was over it paid and left…

This located in a very nice area. Very clean, and decorated nicely. I went here with a group of four for pedicures and they were very nice and accommodating. We were all able to sit together and I noticed they made sure another group at the manicure area were able to sit together after someone else left. They were very gentle when it came to a few people in my group with feet issues, such as calluses.I was kind of worried considering the amount of one star reviews on here. While we were there I was reminded we’re in a “nicer” area and for some reason people here tend to need to find some reason to complain. I overheard the tech show the gel polish to someone to make sure it matched their choice from the card and she acted like it was the rudest question. So take some of the reviews with a grain of salt.

The two techs helping us got multiple times mid-service to work on other customers while we waited way later anger than usual. So they soaked hands, WAIT, file, WAIT, glue tips, WAIT, finally Color. Working on customers back & firth not the best experience.

I have gotten my nails done for many years and my nails have never hurt as bad as they do now. I went and got a pink and white set done and they looked ok way to think for my liking I asked for her to make them thinner twice and still very thick. They do not look like 65$$$$$ nails!!! But the main issue that I’m having is a few hour later my nails HURT!!! They hurt so bad I’m thinking about going in the morning and making them take these nails off my fingers! Not worth the 65$$ in my opinion for the quality and nails that you get and for the atmosphere that you’re in and I definitely did not want to pay for the pain that I’m in now

I have been going to this nail salon for over 4 years. All of the staff are friendly and provide great service. They take walk-ins but try to make an appointment if you can. I have never once thought about going any place else!

New to the area, moved from MA and was looking for a new place to be my regular spot. I can say after the first visit this place is exactly what Ive been looking for. Very great attention to detail from the staff, they were kind and offered me water. The atmosphere is relaxing and modern, got to watch lots of YouTube music videos of top hits which I enjoyed. They even had a rewards card which was even more incentive to return. All in all I recommend this place and will be sure to return!

Tonys Nails desigh for my wife (Sparkle Nail & Spa ) is by far the best place in FL, they are always willing to take you as a walk in or let you know how long the wait will be they are not pushy as to what you dont want. I love it here and have been a loyal customer since hes been open. They are all so nice I usually go to Mimi but anyone there does a great job anyways. I will continue to do business with them and highly recommend this salon to everyone!

Best nail salon around. They do get busy on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday so I recommend going during the week but honestly the wait on weekends isnt ever super long at most its maybe 45 minutes? Im a picky person I like my nails done a certain way and 4 technicians here have done my nails and I absolutely LOVE every single one of them. Vy is a doll and remembers everyone that comes in.Tony and Ben are hilarious and I definitely recommend having a conversation with those two. LOVE LOVE LOVE this salon! Ive been several times and my nails always come out incredible!

I have only been here once and the name certainly doesnt exude machismo, but it was a very good experience. The deluxe pedicure and manicure were surprisingly enjoyable and reasonably priced considering the area.The wait on an early Sunday afternoon was minimal and the staff were very professional. I have only had this service once before, but may be treating myself more often. The foot and lower leg massage were certainly worth the hour I spent here.

Good clean nail salon. Ive been there a few times now. The staff is friendly. They have a TV that they play YouTube music on, which if you like more of a spa feel is not relaxing. I have had a few great manicures and 2 poor. The pedicures are relaxing. Overall it has been a positive experience.

Ive been to this nail salon for 3 months now and absolutely love it! The music, atmosphere, and the employees are all great!! They always do an amazing job! I havent once left without a smile on my face!! Definitely recommend this place!

I wish I had good things to say about this place. The older woman did a gel manicure for me and didnt do at all what I asked for color wise, not to mention the gel was super thin and started chipping off the very next day :( So I went back a few days later and they had her do them over..again a couple days later and they are all chipping off. You dont pay $35 or more for a gel manicure to have it only last a couple of days. Im not sure if maybe shes new and needs some better training or what. Not pleased with my experience though. Ill return to another salon where my gel manicure lasts up to a month when it is done properly.

I am rating my first visit. I called and they were able to take me immediately. The atmosphere is great, its quiet and the music wasnt too loud. The decor is modern and attractive. It was very clean and did not smell like a nail salon typically does. It had a very spa feeling at a very reasonable price. I was offered a beverage. The restroom was clean.The foot baths for the pedicures were quiet as they filled up. I found the experience very soothing and relaxing.My technician paid great attention to detail on my acrylic fill and gel polish application. She did not aggressively drill my nails, which is a personal pet peeve. She took care not to hit my cuticles with the drill. I appreciated her gentleness.I will return to Sparkle Nail & Spa again.

Told me I need to get powder for an accent nail which is $20 more, added a $5 charge for the accent, and didn’t give me accent nails. Nails look fine but not pleased at being upsold.And edit; these nails cracked a week later. Poor quality work.

I was able to get an appointment for myself and mother easily. We were greeted and I love the decor. I didnt like the choice of music (loud youtube music that wasnt relaxing) but it wasnt a big deal unless I had kids with me (due to lyrics and videos). I did not get the foot massage part of my pedicure, which was very disappointing. She did do a nice job on my toe polish though. The other lady forgot to do the paraffin for my mom, but at least she didnt charge for it and she got her foot massage! She wasnt very patient with my mom who had a hurt toe and had to ask her nicely a few times to not scrub it. Overall, it was a nice place but I wasnt super happy with the experience. I have been to many other places that I liked better.

On my husbands account LOL, If you live in Lake Mary or Sanford and need the perfect nail salon.. sparkle nails is amazing. Lee is my lady and she does the most wonderful job on my nails every time, I bring her different pictures from Pinterest and she always makes them look even better than the picture. The green tea pedicure lasts a whole hour and is the most amazing massage, ESPECIALLY if you are pregnant. Everyone who works here is so kind and it is a pleasant and amazing experience every single time. LOVE, love, LOVE this place 💜✨💅🏼

This used to be the only place I trusted, but they have become very sloppy with their work. Even if you have an appointment they are in such a rush you will not feel relaxed at all. I have had to go home and clean up my pedicures that last 2 times. Time to find a new shop.

They take forever to do services and are completely inconsiderate of the time of other customers. I was told to wait for 12 minutes I ended out waiting a whole HOUR and never even got serviced. I would suggest not spending your money here if you have something important to do.

Hadnt been here in a while, but I had just moved back to Orlando, and immediately thought of them. The young girl there did a pretty good job of shaping my acrylics and I was really impressed, but a week and a half later they were already coming off, and not a little bit later. I went in to get them fixed, and they offered to do nothing to fix them, just charge me another visit. So the guy there did them the second time, and I paid for a whole new set instead of a fill because I didnt trust what was left (one was already just hanging by the glue.) He did a terrible job shaping them, and the thickness levels were all too thick.Really disappointed. I used to love this place when they first opened

*This rating is only based on my experience with the wax technician*I had my eyebrows done recently and was completely disappointed. I told her not to my eyebrows smaller and to not ruin my shape and it went in one ear and out the other. They were able to fit me in before closing time (which was nice) and the lady was very nice but the work did not meet my expectations. I dont know if Ill ever get my nails done here (Im little apprehensive based on this experience) but as far as eyebrows go, never again.

The staff was so helpful in helping me find what I wanted for my nails. I went in for an acrylic refil last minute cause my normal salon was full, needless to say Ive found a new salon! One of the girls helped me pick out what do get done on my acrylics and I love them! Super creative staff and amazing job!

Very nice my co-worker and I are visiting from out of town and we stopped to have our nails done and the people here are so friendly and nice love them if Im ever in Lake Mary again I would go back to this nail shop

Vy did a beautiful job on my nails. I am very picky and she was so patient on all my critics. She never once got frustrated and kept telling me how important it was that I loved them. I walked in at 6:45pm and they say they close at up but they still took me and I was there until 7:45pm. Thank you!

Doesnt matter if you have an appointment they still make you wait 20 to 30 minutes. The second time I just walked out. It seems that theyre more interested in taking care of the teenagers from the local high school then adults clientele.

Ive been there about 3-4 times now. Ive had no negative experiences so far. The acrylics are nice, the pedicures are super nice, as well as the manis. The staff are good and very friendly. I like the music videos. Always happy when I leave. :)

Honestly the worst place I’ve ever gotten my nails done, strongly don’t believe they are even licensed. Would NOT recommend to anyone. Stay away, not clean, lady that did my nails kept trying to put gel on my acrylics after I kept saying no and wanted to charge me $15 extra (came in with gel on mine only because it was $5 extra somewhere else). Nails are really bumpy and the polish that the person I went with and myself were very old and could tell was thinned out a lot. Don’t waste your money here, seriously I’ve never written a review for any place, but I felt I needed to for this place.

Was able to get a same-day appointment and they were very polite over the phone. Very attentive and friendy staff, offered refreshments. The technician who did the pedicure was amazing and exceeded all my ecpectations (this was my boyfriends first pedicure and his man feet were rough!). 10/10 will come back again 😁😁😁

My friend recommended this place to me because she raves about it all the time, so i thought id give it a try. its in a really nice area, the spa itself was decent. i walked in and asked for a refill, i picked the color, and waited for the technician. after about 10 minutes someone finally showed up. from the very beginning i felt like this is going to be terrible. i was right. he was very rude (kept answering phone calls and texting), very rough (i bled), and extremely sloppy. they were speaking in their native language and i could tell they were talking about another girl that was getting her nails done as well. never going back.

First time there and i liked the environment, how I was treated and the nails look pretty good.

My wife and two daughters went here for the first time and although the staff were nice and the salon looked clean, they were not pleased. If you watch, you will notice none is the utensils are being sterilized which is a big No No. After 3 days both daughters nails were falling off, my wife took them back to have them fixed and we were charged to fix them. Needless to say, theyll be using another salon.

I live in Colorado and didnt have time for an acrylic fill-in before coming to FL for a family visit. I found Sparkle Nails on yelp and I told the guy I wish I could pack him in my suitcase and take him back to Denver with me! I have yet to find a good nail place in Denver... I also got a polish change on my toes while I was there and he did a great job with that too.The staff is very friendly (and English-speaking) and the salon is very clean. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of the services provided. I got them done April 30th, today is May 22nd, and with the obvious exception that the nails have grown out, my acrylics still look great! Now Im back on yelp to see if I can find a place in Denver that compares to Sparkle Nails... doubtful!

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. I had an appointment for myself and two people that were with me; we werent helped for about 30 minutes. After our mani/pedis were started it was very clear that they were trying to rush us out because while I was in the chair getting a pedicure another nail tech came over to the side of my chair to start my nails. She put a magazine on my lap to use as a table and then set a bowl of water on the magazine to soak my nails. The water spilled all over me when the nail tech doing my pedicure was having me move. After I cleaned the spilled water off of myself the nail tech brought over the black light to dry my gel polish and again set it up on a magazine on my lap. My sister was also with me and she got SNS with tips. Her nail tech was slapping her hands when he wanted her to move them and yanking on her fingers, he also made almost every finger bleed. This was the most uncomfortable experience we have ever had at a salon and will never go back.

Clean and a pretty shop, was busy for a Tuesday and is a small place, but everyone was so nice and got me and my friend as fast as they could which wasnt very long because you can walk around in the shops and come back ten minutes later for your manicure :)

Worst Nail Experience Ever!!!I went here shortly after moving to the area. Since I wasnt familiar with any salons in the area I trusted google reviews and boy I shouldnt of. This place highly disappointed me.I came with a friend and wanted to get a mani-pedi done. The place was empty when we got there and the graciously accepted us right away. We started with a pedicure which I would have loved to have actually enjoyed but the nail tech wanted to get started on my nails while I was sitting there. I asked if I could pay the extra bit and upgrade to having SNS done on my nails. No one told me that it couldnt be combined with their special on mani-pedis or a price but in my head I had a number that I assumed it would be close to.I had one nail that was broken and I told her that I would be fine if one was short or we could put a tip on it. I frankly didnt care either way. I told her NOT to cut my nails short. She proceeded to do exactly that. And then the nail tech got SNS powder all over my shirt which ended up staining my blouse.I have a slight sensory disorder that in most cases is controllable. And although I never said anything at the time, all the over stimulation from someone touching my feet and trying to get my hands started spiraled me into an anxious state. I couldnt enjoy anything that was happening.The nail tech swapped off to another tech once my pedicure was done and he shorted my nails even farther. My cuticle beds were sore, raw and bleeding a little bit by the time he was done. And since my nails were so short, hes rubbed the tips of my fingers so raw that I had a hard time typing at work for the next two days.To add insult to freaking injury, the bill when it was done was insane! I have never paid so much money for these services, even with the SNS. The lady knew I was pissed and by the time we were done getting our services there was a spa full of clients. I lieu of not making a scene, I left and called back later to make a complaint.I told the woman I spoke with that I wanted a refund or some sort of compensation for them butchering my nails and treating me so poorly. I was in and out of that salon in less than 45 mins. We were herding in and out like cattle. It was terrible service all the way around. I was told that the owner would call me back. That was on a Monday. By Thursday no one had called me. I called back and I believe I spoke to the same woman because she recognized my story. I was told the owner hadnt been into the salon yet. I asked when they would be and never could get a straight answer. About a week later I did get a voicemail from someone who worked at the salon but I wasnt sure if it was the owner. I called them back and left them a message and never got a response.I would never recommend this nail spa to anyone. The people are rude, the place was untidy and unclean. My nails looked terrible until they grew back out. I have NEVER been so unsatisfied with a nail spa in my life. I would have rather went to a Walmart nail spa over this place. Save your money and go to Ecco Nail right up the road. Far better service and they take their time and care about the services theyre doing.

I went here for the first time to get my pedicure since I moved to the area from Altamonte. I’d still drive to Altamonte because I really like how clean and friendly the staff are, but I decided to give this one a try. The manager/owner was nice and told me to come back at a certain time because they were busy. When I got back, I still had to wait over 30 minutes. The lady who did my pedicure only massaged my feet only 1-2 minutes. It was so fast, I couldn’t even enjoy it. On top of that she filed my big toe to where one side is going up into a triangle and the other side is square. She was talking to someone while using the metal cheese grater looking tool and said Oh this is usually $5 extra but she said it’s ok because she was busy talking and didn’t realize she was using it. I never heard of a nail salon charging to use that. Anyways, the guy there looked mean like he didn’t want to be bothered, so I was at least happy I didn’t get him. The music was very loud. I must say, the salon looks very nice. Other than that, I didn’t like it and won’t be going back. I guess I’ll go back to Altamonte to the nice salon that I’m used.

They are also in a great location near restaurants and shops and I even got to play Pokémon Go because they are situated right smack dab in the middle of 2 pokestops LOLIn all seriousness the prices are good, the staff is kind and and my nails look amazing!

I dont usually review the places I go but I am honestly very disappointed. I came here December 28, 2016 to get a mani and pedi before flying out for the holidays on the 29th. I asked for a simple pink and white acrylic. As the lady was doing it I started to see they were crooked and the acrylic itself was very bubbly. Now, Im not an expert at this, but I have gotten acrylics plenty of times and Ive never had this outcome, so I pointed it out and she acted as if she was confused as to why I was upset. At this point it was already too late because she was almost finished with them. It was already about 8 pm and they offered me a do-over but I had a flight to prepare for and so much to do and wasnt able to do it that day.Im just writing this because google reviews are what brought me into this Nail Salon expecting it to be a great experience. I had to go visit my family with the worst nails Ive ever gotten. My experience here sucked...

Worst pedicure EVER! I treated myself to a pedicure here and was sorry to have spent the money, and time. The pedicure was really bad. At the end, my feet still needed to be exfoliated and as I was looking down at my feet once she was painting the nails, the nail tech noticed I was eyeing my heal and said that it was dry skin. The issue wasnt the skin, the issue was that she hadnt finished the pedicure completely. The reason people get a pedicure is due to dry skin most times, and it needs to be removed! She didnt seem to care at all that it wasnt finished. I could literally scrape the skin off with my finger nail. I left and went home to finish the pedicure myself. Absolutely the worst pedicure job Ive ever had. I wish now I had asked for my money back... If you go here, make sure they actually finish the job. Very disappointing. And I am not one to leave reviews, so the fact that Im wasting more of my time on this experience says a lot!
