I showed the owner a picture (far right) when I came in. He said he’d do his best. He then proceeded to tell me that he could only do what you see below. I said I did not want basic and he was very rude. We left and had someone fix it. If I could give negative stars, I would!

Set an online appointment at 9am. This is my first time using this business. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. Many people started to come in between 9:15-1030am. By the amount of people coming in I assumed it was a great nail place. My nails were done by the owner and they honestly did come out fantastic. The only issue I had was that it took a little over two hours to do a full set and color change. I didnt think this was a big deal but it did make me late for an appointment afterwards. I spoke to two other women in my life that frequently get their nails done. Apparently exceeding two hours for a full set and solid color is too long. I personally would return for the great job, just make sure your entire morning and early afternoon is clear.

I called in and they accepted me right away. Im usually not one to get my nails done but I figured Id splurge a little, and guess what? Im so happy I did! Leo was my nail artist and hes the absolute BEST! He has an eye for detail and pays attention to every aspect while he was doing my nails. I highly recommend Leo! I can surely say Ill be coming back. Thank you Dainty Nails for everything! Im so happy to have my nails glowing for my photoshoot tomorrow 🥰💅🏽

Nails were horribly crooked kept telling lady it was very crooked and she just shrugged her shoulders. The pedicure lady was super sweet but I didn’t have ingrown toenails let alone any problems with my toes until she did my pedicure. She pulled an “ingrown” without asking and I felt the shock in my body when she pulled on my nail… idk what she did but my toe hurts so bad.. it’s been a week now and idk if my big toe is infected or what but I’ve had it wrapped in bandages. and the color I chose was pink and they look discolored

Love going here! Ive had John and Hannah as my nail tech. I normally get dip and they always do a good job. They make you feel welcomed in their shop and listen to your requests. Would recommend to anyone.

I was pleased the first few times but the service is getting worse as they become familiar with you as a customer. If they don’t know how to do a service or they don’t have the materials to complete a service they will attempt to convince you it doesn’t look right or that it’s not possible instead of saying they don’t know how or they don’t have the materials. They are somewhat ruff in handling your hands and feet during the service and if you ask them to take it easy they will tell you it’s necessary to get the job done. I’m not pleased at all, this attitude is coming from the owners.

My first visit…pleasant environment, excellent customer service. The Jelly Pedicure is definitely a plus. I’ll be moving here soon, but until then… Dainty Salon will be taking care of me ❤️

WARNING! If I could give a 0 star rating I would! For starters I called and made an appointment but upon arrival I still had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. Everyone working here is extremely unprofessional as well, they have their children running around the salon. I brought my puppy with me in his stroller because he is only a few weeks old, they not only kept touching my dog without asking but they also had me babysitting their child during my appointment. They left me with the child unattended and allowed her to bother me and continuous pester me about holding my 1 pound puppy. I was going to get a full set of acrylic and they had me wait yet again for another 40 minutes. As soon as the woman came to do my nails the receptionist informed her that another customer had been waiting so she must serve her before me… how unprofessional!!!! I made an appointment for a reason!!! I spent a total of 3 hours just to get a mediocre pedicure. You would think for $70 (Hawaiian pedicure + gel polish) that she could at least paint neatly. The polish is bleeding all into my cuticles and looks sloppy. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy, BEWARE! Everything seems great from the outside looking in but from personal experience this was the worst salon I’ve ever been to in my entire life.

Warning, this place will charge you to repair your nails that only last 6 days min. The owner specifically told me to come back if any of the polish chips & he will fix it. Well here we are 6 days later & Im back in the salon being charged to not only remove the gel, but to also change the color because my nails turned white, & the chipped ones wouldnt have matched the original pink color that they were. $140 combined between 2 visits, spent on some basic polished nails/toes. No acrylics, no dip, no design. Nothing fancy. I wasnt even told ahead of time that there was going to be a charge for any of this!! Total sticker shock, & bad business. Unless you have a money tree growing in your back yard, find somewhere else to go. & BTW Im pretty sure the young girl who ATTEMPTED to do my toes last visit, isnt even licensed, shes doing on the job training.

Visiting from out-of-state and was in need of a manicure/ pedicure. We read the reviews on-line and thought we’d give them a try! I tell you - They did not disappoint - the gel pedicure was amazing and the staff is extremely courteous and kind! Will definitely come back!

First the positive: Everyone was very friendly and the place seemed nicely arranged.Second the negative:1) The room that was used was not relaxing, as in eyelash salons, I felt like I was a client that they were practicing on. The older daughter was watching and seemed to be learning. The younger daughter was in the room watching videos or placing games which was loud. Not a relaxing experience.2) After a week one eye lost some lashes but the other eye still had clumps of glue and were all on. The lashes were attached to my own lashes and they were dark and looked like what you get at the drug store.3) As one of my eyes didnt have many lashes I decided to go to a Lash salon. I had to have the eye lashes, that had so much glue on it, removed. I found out that the eyelashes used were not to be attached to my lashes but should have been attached to the skin and the glue didnt seem to be the correct glue for that kind of attachment. Thus, I have eyelashes that will not grow back as during the removal there was nothing that could be done due to the amount of glue used.Sadly, this is not a skill that I feel has been perfected especially when dealing with the eyes. John was extremely nice but the atmosphere and expertise was not up to my expectations for this type of application.

Best Nail Salon I have been, Clean, friendly, offer you different drinks and snacks and take extra precautions for covid. Im not from here but I will definitely be back when Im in town🥰😁♥️

John is amazing! I am so happy with my nails. Ive gone to him twice for dip on my fingernails and gel polish on my toes. His work is always neat and I leave the salon completely satisfied. I will be returning again soon!

My nail tech since 2002 at another salon died a few months ago. I have found Dainty Nails very eager to meet my expectations. I retired from 44 years as a nurse and couldn’t wear long nails or polish. But that was then! My husband even enjoys getting pedicures with me there.

Been really looking for a nail salon who are inviting, welcoming, personable and takes care of their customers! I have been going to John as my nail tech and been loving it each time leave! Give it a try!

John did an amazing job with my full set nails. I originally wanted acrylic nails, but I was not aware of all the options available for manicures. John suggested tips and dip powder instead and I love them! He has great attention to detail and I highly recommend going to see him!

This is the best nail salon I’ve ever been in Lake Mary. The owners are super nice, they greet you once you come in. They offer you with a complementary drink. Every station is super clean. They sanitize after each client. John, Helen and Cathy are amazing. This place is a must.

John did the disposable pedicure kit and the service was very good. He was very patient and they stayed open later for us to finish. They gave us a massage and I am very satisfied with this treatment. I will recommend this place!

I had John as my nail tech. He was really good, however, the staff is very pushy about using powder and gel to up the price. They made fun of friend bc she was being cheap and not using the fancy stuff. It was light humor though, and we werent offended. He did good nails at a good price, and I would go back if I wasnt an instrumentalist on break 😭.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!! Went here for the first time with my sister and now I will never go anywhere else! Great staff! John, Hannah, and Leo are the best, they always take their time and do my nails exactly how I want them. I have a crazy schedule so I always come as a walk in and I’ve never had to wait for them to take me. They offer complimentary wine and champagne and everything is very clean. If you haven’t tried them yet you definitely should!

Dainty nails was incredible! The staff was so kind and they did an incredible job. They made my friend and I feel right at home, very special and they did a wonderful job on our nails / massages. We went for an early birthday celebration, and we definitely will be coming back whenever we can. Absolutely loved the experience and will come back when I’m town. Also, they had individual one use kits, single use per person so it was very hygienic and COVID friendly. John and Lee were amazing! Highly recommend!

I got my marble nails painted by John. Very professional and painted beautifully.

I received a heated stone pedicure, manicure and a massage with heated stones. The pedicure was luxurious and included exfoliation, a masque, a hot paraffin wax treatment, followed by a deep massage and heated stone massage treatment. Moreover, all nail treatments were thorough and included removal of excess cuticles and moisturization with oil. They really paid attention to detail when caring for my nails which I sincerely appreciated. I also decided to get a neck and back massage using hot stones. It was amazing and very relaxing! Thank you John, Hanna, and all the Team at Dainty Nails. You know how to make your patrons feel like VIPs!

I went to go get my eyebrows done. before the lady even touched my eyebrows i specifically told her “i don’t want my eyebrows thin or shaped a certain way”. Not only did she leave me with basically no eyebrows. She used alcohol to “clean” the area before waxing. If i’m not mistaken, alcohol is too aggressive to the skin. She also burned me. the lower part of my eyebrow is burned. I don’t understand how you could make a mistake and still insist there is nothing wrong with it. very disappointed. * i basically had to fix everything at home and try to fix it with makeup for my graduation

I am very very happy with the service I received at this salon.I had just been speaking to a friend the day before about how sad it was that this industry seems to have lost that sense of customer service. So often it feels like you go to one of these places and you’re just not even there. The Technicians just talk to each other in another language, and when you try to ask a question or make a comment or ask for something specific, they just sort of shake their head and then do what they want.This was a very VERY different experience. I ended up working with John who is one of the owners. He cares so much about his customers!! He listened. He asked questions to get clarification. He took his time.I watched him help with another client that had an unusual situation come up, and went above and beyond to try to create a positive outcome. I was extremely impressed.I will absolutely come here!The last place I went in Mount Dora was horrible. The woman was in a big hurry. She didn’t listen. She did dip powder nails and they were so thick that I had to go to another place and ask them to fix them. It was the night before leaving for a trip, so I was so grateful they were able to get me in and help me. Still, the set was so bad I couldn’t wait to get them off.The nails John did at Dainty Nails look so nice. They feel very natural. I am so relieved.They also do massage and facials.I would absolutely recommend going here, and I’ll be going back myself!!

Called on a Sunday to see when they would have time to do a dip nail manicure on fresh nails for my Engagement pictures the next day.I asked for tips to even out my short nails, since I would get my nails done with DIP every 3 weeks before covid (my normal salon was closed on sunday) I was told no let my nails grow out, even though I expressed the importance of having nice nails for my Expensive pictures.While that was ignored my poor tech was bouncing between 2 people. I was left halfway through my service for someone else who was already there. I would of gladly came back to get full attention and not waist over 30 minutes with half dipped nails. He never cut my nails even so they were left with my own hack job, but with dip powder on top.After he came back, I kept mentioning i wanted glitter or sparkle. Next to me a woman was getting a very nice design done by a nice gentleman in a cowboy hat. (wish i got him). I get places can get overwhelmed, I do not believe I should of been sent out with overly THICK nails, that are uneven and ONE color. While i was given a certificate for money off my NEXT visit i do not see why i would come back for an everyday nail when my concern for having nice nails (that i do not have) was ignored. I thought I did good by reading reviews but once again I was wrong.This salon is beautiful from what I saw, but it is a shame my nails had to look like this for my pictures. I paid for the service and tipped well, but for some reason i am questioning why i tipped at all.I will not be returning, which is sad because i was hoping I could find a salon open on a Sunday i liked since that is the only day my mom and i can get our nails done together.I also hope they learn to listen to their clients need.-Melissa

Hanna and she did an amazeing job she is very friendly and took her time to make sure the job was done professionally after she massaged my hands and soaked them in a. Dainty Nails is my go-to nails salon. I know what to expect each and every time. Each visit is the exact same great service and quality manicure. They are consistent which is what I love. All of the employees are very sweet and kind. As much as a I travel, I will never stray and go anywhere else. I’d rather wait until I get back from my traveling rather than going to the local nail salon. Great location, great hours, consistent work and beautiful nails!

I’ve been coming to Dainty Nails Lake Mary since I was in Middle School. I am now in my 30’s and Dainty Nails is still amazing. Dainty Nails remains clean and the owners and staff are amazing. For pedicures they use a disposable pedicure kit. I can’t complain... they continue to provide great customer service. They even provide a complimentary glass of wine to customers 21 or older. John and Hanah are so nice! You won’t regret coming to Dainty Nails.
