Sullivan Properties/Maui Resorts has managed my family’s condominium for decades, and they are the best! Super-helpful, reliable, and realistic. My husband and I stayed at the bay villa for a week during our honeymoon. The unit was spacious, clean, private, and very well maintained. Also, equipped with everything you need- from beach towels, beach chairs to kitchenette.Very easy check in and check out process set up from Sullivan property. Readily available tourist guidebook and property information.Attention to details goes a long way- when you see small dish washer soap, laundry detergent, and trash bags left for the guest, it makes your life so much easier and makes you feel very well taken care of.I would definitely stay here at this property or any property that is managed by SULLIVAN PROPERTY. Not having AC was not an issue during our stay in May 2021. The unit cools off at night and during day time we were out exploring the island.If you want to have more privacy during your stay, you should definitely rent this villa out. Minutes from two private beaches and the view from the unit is breathtaking.

We loved the Kahana Sunset! The location definitely earned the name, and we enjoyed several breathtaking sunsets from our two balconies! The staff was nice and accommodating, and the condo was nicely appointed and very comfortable. We look forward to coming back!

Beautifully kept property with immaculate pool that was always at the perfect temperature. The unit itself was extremely comfortable with AC in both bedrooms and the living room plus ceiling fans. There’s a washer and dryer, and dishwasher—all detergents supplied along with all other basic household and kitchen supplies. I would definitely stay here again!

This is my fourth time using Sullivan Properties. I have yet to be disappointed with their service. They are one of the main reasons I return to Maui. Their level of service and properties is always stellar. This stay was extra special to me, I will cherish the memories made on this trip. I look forward to returning soon.

This was our first stay at Kahana Sunset which was recommended by my sister. I, as well as, my son and his family were very happy with D6. The sunrise and sunset views were fantastic and we found the environment very quiet and relaxing. Having the beach so close and uncrowded was a true luxury. Although there was no air conditioning, each room had a ceiling fan and/or electrical fan to complement the natural tropical breeze. Beds were very comfortable and the large capacity refrigerator held all the food, drinks, and snacks that was needed for all 6 of us. Ample supplies for daily needs were provided (cooking utensils, plates, coffee maker, toilet paper, trash bags, laundry powder, hand soap, dish soap) The grounds are clean, beautiful and well kept. Bonus was the turtles in the morning on the beach. The beach is generally calm and great for younger children. At times the waves may be large and leave little room for laying on the beach but it still safe to swim, Only very minor disappointment was there were no beach supplies such as a boogie board(s), beach mat, or umbrella which are generally standard provisions we had in a previous property on another island and previous stays. However, Sally, in the office loaned us a boogie board which was appreciated. All in all, Kahana Sunset, especially D-6 is a place we would definitely consider the next time we visit Maui!

Our view was amazing! The condo is beautiful and spacious! This is our 2nd time staying at Sands of Kahana. We will be back and will request room 334 again!

Great place in Maui 🍍

Ours was a family of 2 couples and a toddler plus an infant. The property is on the beach and the view is simply mind blowing. There are enough amenities to help you make a meal, wash your clothes, towels etc. Being from Michigan not having air conditioner in the hot and humid room was difficult but by opening the balcony doors and using a stand fan helped. I would definitely come back to this place because it also has food marts, restaurant and other necessary stores withy a mile.

A few small hiccups but overall, my stay was everything I imagined based off of the listing on Expedia. We did end up with no water for a good part of one day due to a water main break outside the building and on my last night the power went out for 5 hours. Both of these issues was no fault of Sullivan Properties. Sleeping and waking up to the sound of the ocean helped make my Maui experience amazing! The beds were comfortable and the place was clean and cozy. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone I know going to Maui.Thank you!

My family has recently stayed at a Kapalua Villas property (37G4) in Maui managed by Sullivan Properties Inc. We were very pleased on a number of fronts.The unit was clean and well equipped. The location was ideal for us with access to a large lawn out a sliding glass door and in close proximity to the beach. Information was readily available in the Villa when we arrived and Sullivan contacted us early on to inquire about any needs or requests.Our stay was very enjoyable and the people at Sullivan Properties contributed in a significant way. We were traveling with a 2-year old and were eager to gain access to the Villa as early as possible. The Sullivan Properties staff were very sympathetic and adjusted their cleaning schedule to accommodate our request. And when we needed a small maintenance service someone arrived within an hour to deal with our problem, even though it was Thanksgiving weekend.I would recommend Sullivan Properties without hesitation. They show a strong customer orientation and customer satisfaction is obviously important to them.

My wife and I stayed at Kahana Sunset unit E6 and were extremely happy with it! The unit suited all our needs and had everything we could imagine to make our stay like a true home away from home. We cooked most of our meals either in the kitchen or on the grill located on the grounds next to the pool. The unit could easily accommodate a family and the layout is nice because the bedrooms are located on the upper floor and kitchen/livingroom on the 1st floor. The deck off the master is great for lounging and provides an ocean view. There are plenty of lounge chairs outside just a few steps up from the beach and everyone wandered out there for the sunset every night. The grounds are lush and absolutely beautiful . We didnt use the pool but it was very nice as well. Kahana Sunset is close to everything and such a wonderful place. We will definitely be going again next year!

Great service! Had one issue with TV and they sent someone over within ten minutes !! Would highly recommend!

We were overbooked at our condo so we were moved to a Sullivan Properties condo, Kahana Sunset. We were placed in a condo with no air conditioning and the average temperature was 93* and 85% humidity. We called The Sullivan Porperties and they said they would see what they could do for us and would call us back. We never heard from them again. They didnt bother to call us so we had to stay the week in the condo that never cooled down. It really put a damper on our weeks stay. We will not book again with The Sullivan Property due to their poor customer service.

Wonderful setting and great staff support.

My husband and I stayed in a studio condo, J218, at the Maui Eldorado from January 14th to January 20th, 2018. This unit was managed by the family owned Sullivan Property Management company in Lahaina. Not only was the unit filthy but it was in a state of disrepair. The floors, vents and cupboards were dirty, urine deposits on the bathroom floor, mould around the bathroom sinks, filthy and stained mats in kitchen and bathroom, filthy and torn oven mitts, and torn screen on ill-fitting screen door on patio door.We sent an email with our complaints to Eric who had made the reservation for us, after we assessed the condo only to be informed that he had left the company. We then resent the email to the 2 email addresses at the bottom and received a response from a Kelly Sullivan, the manager of the company and daughter of the owner of the company, Patrick Sullivan. She agreed to come accompanied by the “inspector” who had checked the unit before our checkin. The day before we were checking out, she arrived alone, said the inspector couldn’t make it. She acknowledged our complaints as legitimate, even took pictures of obvious defects and said we would be compensated. We never heard from her again but her father, a broker and owner of the company emailed us. He did not acknowledge the problems, he accused us of intimidating his daughter and exaggerating, “expecting a free holiday” when we requested a full refund, expecting the Hyatt Regency for $185.00 a night. We told him that we at least expected a CLEAN unit. He offered to give us a refund for half of the amount paid but we were advised to demand a full refund. He said he had never had complaints about his unit and HE was the inspector that passed the unit for rental, hard to believe that he would admit it! My husband and Patrick had a lengthy, heated, phone conversation during which Patrick repeatedly defended his lies. Patrick was unreasonable, disrespectful and very unprofessional.Carolyn Lunski
