We stayed at Napili Point Condos, C11, and our unit had a lovely view, was well equipped, and overall was perfect for our needs, only negative was that the decor was a bit tired. My family booked a 2-bedroom condo at Aston Kona by the Sea through Donna Bender of MauiCalls, for the week of Christmas 2018. My husband and three teenagers thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing stay at this beautiful oceanfront location. Having lived in Hawaii in years past, I like to avoid areas which are too touristy, preferring a more low-key and relaxing location where we can experience the true ambiance of the islands. Donna booked a two-bedroom condo at Kona by the Sea, and it was clean, had daily maid service, and two things I hold near to my heart: a balcony where we can leave our door open to listen to the crashing waves at night, and a washer/dryer! Kona by the Sea is close to restaurants and shopping, yet still offers a beautiful place to watch the sunrise or sunset in quiet solitude.

We booked our stay through Donna Bender of MauiCalls for a Napili Point point oceanfront 1 bedroom unit. This was my first trip to Maui and Donna helped me narrow down the choices to make sure we had a good fit for the relaxed vacation of our dreams. After we checked in and got our key and I saw our unit, I called Donna to ask “what is the catch?!? This is too nice, are you sure this is right?” Donna assured us it was! Thank you for the miraculously perfect unit for us! We love to lounge on a private lanai with binoculars and watch for whales. This was in late March and we saw whales every day except our last day. We also saw sea turtles frequently right in the bay below the lanai and were entertained on stormy days by the surfers braving the waves. Lovely Napili Beach is a 10-minute walk through a gate, down a garden path and over some rocks. We walked further to Dragons teeth for a longer hike, there’s waterfront access trail all along the coast. It’s great to hike, snorkel, swim at a beach, and see marine wildlife without ever driving anywhere. The unit was well cared for, very comfortable and convenient. We cooked some and enjoyed Star Noodle take-out on the lanai. We snorkled steps from our door, getting in and out is tricky though, be very careful on that sharp rock. The place is very relaxed. I loved perusing the journals of guests’ comments going way back. The owners chose high quality woven bamboo blinds for the floor to ceiling windows that let in fresh air while maintaining privacy after dark. There is AC in the bedroom as well. I told my husband this is the last vacation I need to plan; we will return to this exact unit for all our future dream vacations!

We booked Maui Kai studio Unit 807 through its owner Donna Bender of MauiCalls. Did tons of research before deciding on this unit after reading many many positive reviews. We booked about 4-5 months in advance and Donna was great with communication, quick to respond, and very helpful with travel tips. For an oceanfront, ocean view room in Maui, you cant beat the price. The view from the room balcony was amazing! We saw sea turtles and a couple whales in the distance from the comfort of our balcony. The room was plenty big for the 2 of us. The full kitchen was stocked with all the silverware and pots/pans we needed to prepare meals. Housekeeping was great. Free hotel parking was nice. Friendly front desk staff. The hotel was within walking distance to restaurants but we rented a car, which is recommended. Overall, the trip was great, the room was great, and we would definitely book through Donna again.

You cannot go wrong staying here. The price is great, decor is fitting, quiet, is kept very clean and has a spectacular view. We sleep with the sliding glass door open and enjoy the sound of the waves throughout the night. Grocery store is a 7 minute walk away, and is perfect for taking advantage of the BBQ grills by the pool. Sunset is breathtaking! Donna gave us her Local Girl’s Guide to Maui to take with us to Maui. we tried many of the restaurants you will not be disappointed. The new pie and sandwich place is Ono !!

We booked Napili Shores through Donna Bender of MauiCalls, who is an Outrigger Specialist. We were married at Kapalua a few years ago, and were excited to stay in the area again. Donna was able to help us find a nice, reasonably priced resort that was right on the water. The location was amazing! The time of year was also optimal for whale sightings. I had a point flight to Maui booked for my family, but found booking a condo challenging even thugh I have handled all the bookings for other family trips in the past. After traveling around Maui I am convinced she recommended the best place for my family, and I never would have found it without her. We stayed in an oceanfront studio at Napili Kai that we booked through Donna Bender of MauiCalls. I dont know where to begin to describe this beautiful property. We felt completely at home here, except our home doesnt have the beautiful blue waters of Maui just feet from our door. We were in a corner unit at the very end of the resort and it was so private and serene, not to mention a panoramic view of the ocean out the front lanai and side large window as well. The vibe from Napili Kai is so peaceful and relaxing. We were so happy we chose to stay here over any other place on the island. It was more expensive and we had a hard time to deciding to spend the extra money but I can honestly say it was worth it! We had an air-conditioned room and were very glad that we did as Maui experienced a very hot summer with fewer trades than normal. We truly enjoyed Sea House for breakfast and happy hour. You cant beat the location on the beach to gaze out over the water.Donna gave us her Local Girl’s Guide to Maui to take with us to Maui. It was absolutely filled with wonderful recommendations for things to do and places to eat for every location on the island. We referred to it many times during our stay and will use it for return trips as well. You really cannot go wrong with this property. We are spoiled now and will not want to stay anywhere else. I found Donna through a friend who highly recommended her. She was great the whole way through. She answered all my emails promptly and gave great advice. She helped us choose a great condo that has a view of the ocean. The condo was great for a family! It was at Kihei Akahi and room D308. She made sure I got what I was looking for, like a comfortable condo with air condition and nice view. She even gave us her local guide to Maui booklet that helped us decide where we wanted to see in a local maui way. Highly recommend her and would use her again!
