Purchased my windows in July 2020 and was told lead time for installation was approximately 6 weeks. Windows were not installed until November, and the company was not very responsive to my inquiries as to when I could expect them.After install, it was noted that one of the windows did not have the low E, which it should have. I called the office multiple times to discuss this, but could not get anyone to answer, nor call me back. I had to reach out to the corporate office, who didnt fix the problem, but managed to get the local office to contact me.Someone was dispatched to my house to confirm the window did not have low E. I took a day off of work to ensure that I was home when the employee arrived. When the employee arrived, it was clear that he was not aware of what my issue was, or what he was supposed to be checking. Long story short, he did not have the tool needed to determine if low E was present or not. I had to wait another 2-3 weeks for the employee to come back, and take another day off of work just to confirm the low was missing.A replacement window was ordered, and took over two months to arrive. I had to take another day off of work for the installation. The window took over two months to be ready for installation, and when it arrived, it didnt have low E. Had to wait for another appointment with the field team (and another day off of work) to confirm there was no low E, and again the tech didnt bring the right tool. Ultimately, another window was ordered and took over a month to arrive.Windows world would not schedule the installation until the window actually arrived. So I will wait 3 months from the second install to the third. The entire time, Windows Worlds customer service has been absolutely terrible. Phone calls and text messages often go for days before a response is received, and the responses have generally been vague and do not address the issue. For instance, I still cannot get confirmation that the third window has been tested for low E and that it is present.I spent a considerable amount of money and replaced 14 windows in my home, four of which are very large and expensive. Not to mention that I had to take several days off of work to accommodate the mistakes made by this company. I do not feel like a valued customer and I will never use Windows World again. If you are in the market for windows, do yourself a favor and spend a little more money to have a vendor who actually values their customers and treats them with respect.Update from 7/26/2021: The replacement glass arrived today, only 6 days after the original appointment. It does not appear to have the low E it is supposed to have. I had received a call from Windows World saying that they would bring a low E tester to ensure that the low E was present and the window was installed correctly. The crew did not have this tool, which is the third time a Windows World technician was supposed to have this tool, but didnt. Another day taken off of work in hopes this would be the last, but the problem is still not corrected.

I had Window World windows installed 12/11/2020. The installers (major communication barrier) broke 2 sashes during installation and installed a broken frame and tried to hide it (I found it as I cut my hand on it). At that time, I needed two sashes and a complete window frame replaced. On 12/11/2020, I had to pay the last half of the amount I owed them with a broken window in the front of my house with card board in the windows. It has been this way for the last THREE months as the run around by Window World continues. I also noticed that the salesman had the windows in two restrooms replaced with see through windows which were not what was in the restrooms at the time he sold the windows to me. I now have restroom windows that can clearly been seen through. I called Window World of Lafayette regarding my issues on several occasions and have had NO resolution. I did receive some positive assistance from a lady by the name of Brittney when I called on March 12, 2012. She said I am forwarding your information to Chandler Green (Sales Manager). Mr. Green called me that day and in the course of discussion he told me at least two times that he would call me back today as he needed to get more information from the office on my problem. As of this writing, Mr. Green has not returned my phone call. This is a poor representation of this company and leaves me to question the integrity of Window World when the Sales Manager does not hold up his end of a discussion. I spoke to a lady by the name of Victoria on March 17, 2021, who could have cared less about my situation. She indicated Brittney had ordered some type of window for me, but either could not or would not tell me what was ordered for me. She said she had the sashes and window frame on hand. I asked if I could get them installed and she said well have to put you on the list to install. I pointed out that I have had broken windows installed with cardboard in them for three months!! It would seem that since my problems have been ongoing with no attempt by Window World to resolve the issue that I may have my installation completed since I had broken windows installed and continue to wait! She said all she could do was put me on the schedule for March 29, 2021.I have recommended Window World to at least 10 other homes who are in need of replacement windows. I truly regret recommending Window World to these folks. I wish I had gone a different direction, but I am too far in the process to go back. I recommend anyone in need of replacement windows to look elsewhere. Window World is only interested in getting paid and their service and word are worthless. I have worked serving the public for more than 30 years in a management position and I guarantee that anytime I told someone I would call them, they received a phone call from me. I will also be filing a compliant with the Better Business Bureau. The message to anyone looking into replacing windows should do themselves a favor and avoid Window World.

Off to a bad start. Scheduled install. Removed all blinds and hardware, moved all furniture. Get a call day of install saying they cant make and will have to come next day. OK... Get another call a few hours later saying they only have half the windows since some are damaged. So I have to reinstall the fn blinds again for half the windows... puh!!

I had to keep calling world to if my window was in .I kept call Baton rouge. The sale turn the order in and they never ordered the window. So I kept calling Baton Rouge I talk with a guy. And told that the was not ordered. So they ordered the windows. I call Baton Rouge so much .they blocked my phone number. But the sales should make should thatv the order is ordered. The sales does answer his phone when he that you calling him. Very sad got people working like that that does not care about the customer?

Very dissatisfied !!! Got windows installed 12/29/20. I notified the supervisor Jeremy during the installation of the first window, of my concerns about large gaps between the new window and the window frame. He stated it should not be larger than 3/4 inch gaps. He stated he would call them to find out what was going on immediately. I contacted Jeremy the next day due to my concerns. I did not sign the installation paperwork because I was not satisfied with the installation. I questioned the installers who only wanted my signature on the form. They actually lied to my face and tried to convince me there was a screw in a window that was not there. Then said installer stated “we install all our windows like this”. To which my thought is how many other people got horrible installation by these guys. They ripped every window out immediately then began installing them and had no choice but installed the misfit windows. My windows are literally floating in the frame. With 3 inch gaps at the top and larger than 1 inch fully surrounding the window. These windows were clearly measured wrong. Then started the back and forth with Jeremy and his supervisor. He tried to calm my fears by insisting foam will do the job holding my windows in the frame. Well I’ve just been through not 1 but 2 hurricanes. When I questioned Jeremy would these floating windows be safe if there were another hurricane. He said I am worrying about something that hasn’t happened yet. Do not tell me I’m worrying about things that haven’t happened when I am concerned about windows installed improperly !!! I called the customer service number, sent pics in emails no changes in their stance of foam will do the job.I called corporate twice. Still no resolution to the problem. I am not sure why Window World thinks subpar installation of windows is industry standard. As well as I am very angered at this local Louisiana company taking advantage of all of those who have been impacted by not one but two hurricanes. Customer service means something around here. People paying for a product means something. I paid for their product and expect a professional and prompt response to issues with their products. They only seem to care about getting your money then that’s when no one can correct issues.Beware of this company !! Everything that glitters certainly isn’t gold. We were promised one thing and got trash installation with minimal accountability from the company.

Came out, very nice. I explained insurance only gave us money for 2 windows and needed to see about other windows being compromised. Gave me estimate for all windows but gave no indication if/why other windows needed to be replaced ie storm damage, age,etc Insurance asked for explanation and the problem began. I called and left a message on Thursday no response. The following Monday I texted what my issue was and still no response. Prices were great and a fantastic warranty but doesn’t do much good when they don’t have common courtesy of a response. Very disappointed in the communication area.Even after receiving an email regarding my appointment and notifying them of the issue there was no follow up response. The about a month later I received a text message asking me about my appointment again. I explained what happened and at least received an apology this time.Not especially concerning because he did call but salesman notified me that he was going to be late 20 minutes after scheduled time. Guess that really should have been my red flag to just cancel.

UPDATE- 2 months later - window still broken, noone has called to let us know if window is in yet or when it will be replaced!!!!I am very dissatisfied with Window World. The saleman was great but we have issues with initial installment and they have ordered windows that need to be replaced twice, BUT we have a glass that broke since December and today was the 3rd visit and they still did NOT order the correct window replacement. BUT on top of all of that, you cannnot get anyone to return your phone calls/emails. They send you an email stating Good Morning! I am the field supervisor- call me for anything!!! Yeah right, you just go ahead and give them a call- they will not return it. They do not answer emails, IF you chose to use Window World- pray that your installation is perfect- because after that you will have horrible service!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. They literally installed the incorrect windows in my home as I told them it was wrong. The installers argued with me, the supervisor stopped answering my phone calls and the customer service representative doesnt answer calls. This is a 7 month problem.UPDATE: I was offered $250 off, less than a 10% discount. DO NOT USE

Have been wanting new windows for six years, Window World delivered with good workers and great quality windows. James Ball was very thorough, accurate, and accommodating. As well as the installers Fred and Anthony, who worked very hard and efficiently. Thank you Window World, your windows have made our house feel new! Would definitely recommend to anyone!

VERY satisfied!! Windows were installed in half the time that they told me. All the guys were very professional,cleaned up after themselves and only took 3 hours for 14 windows. My salesman was very nice and professional and not pushy at all. The whole experience was great

I called Window World to come out and give me an estimate. Dan Norton came to my house and thoroughly discussed different options to fit my needs. I was very impressed and looking forward to my new windows. They called me sooner than expected to install them. It only took about 2 hours from start to finish. The windows look amazing and the ease of opening from the inside will be less of a chore to clean.

This was our 2nd purchase of windows. Our sales rep, Jason B,was professional and offered great suggestions and we love the new look the windows give the upstairs. He ensured we were assigned a good installation crew who did a great job on our 12 window installation. Jason also followed up to make sure everything happened on time and to our satisfaction. We will continue to have window world replace the remaining windows in our home!

The windows look great. However, I expected the installers to arrive in the morning. They told me when they called, they would come at 4:00 that afternoon. At 4:30, I tried to call them and got voicemail. After a few more minutes, I called Window World. They had the installer call me. They arrived after 5:00 and left after 7:00. It was a long day. One of the windows has a crack in it and the window has been ordered and will be replace the cracked one soon. The windows are so much better than the original ones.

Very unsatisfied. Salesman was very nice but install was done by 1 person for 12 windows. In the end, sloppy work. It took 2 callouts to fix the caulk. First person came out, looked, took photos and said it was too much to do at that time. I never heard back.I had to call again, finally got job finished. The windows take up a large amount of window sill space. The window frames look cheap after they have to use vinyl strips to cover the large gaps between the window and the window opening. If you are looking for cheap, this may be it.. I do not feel like this has added value to my home, if anything, I feel it has hurt the value. I typically do not write reviews but this was not a good experience.UPDATE: After the response from the owner I contacted the service manager Jason. I received similar service from Window World. A Field Supervisor came to me house. Agreed with the issues, spoke about offering an adjustment. Sent an installer. More caulk. I wrote a letter to the owner and sent it through company email and was told that the letter was in the owners inbox. I followed up one more time on April 2, 2019 and still have not heard anything regarding an adjustment. My only interest now is to let consumers be aware of my experience.

The workers who installed the windows were very cordial and professional. I was really surprised how quickly they got all 22 windows installed and how great the windows looked! My wife and I were so excited that we bought them some lunch snacks! Sarge and James were great including their boss( forgot his name). Our experience was just wonderful! Thanks goes to Jason who followed up after the completion of the job. I will definitely recommend Window World to my neighborhood friends! Great jod to all! Thanks Window World! Just awesome!

Very good experience with Window World. Im a remodel contractor and theyve done 6 jobs for me already. James Ball is my salesman and he explained every in detail and went over warranty and all the options in the different grade of windows for the budget. My parents even bought windows for them and recently installed them in a very professional manner. And the warranty no one else has plus transferable if you sell your home. Just that in itself is worth the it. Im even going to start getting them for new construction. And yes they make for new construction. Very very satisfied.

Do NOT use Window World. If their salesman orders the wrong window, Window World expects the customer to pay for it. How they have survived in a close-knit southern town I have no idea. After the salesman admitted he ordered the wrong window, he avoided us for 2 weeks. After repeated emails and phone calls, which are recorded, the salesman then asked if we would pay for half, hed pay for half. I quote, I cannot go around paying for peoples windows. We contacted customer service numerous times. We emailed two field supervisors, whose information was given to us by Window World (After 2 other installation dates were cancelled by them). One of the supervisors threatened that if we didnt pay the other half of the job that Window World would slap a lien against the property since that home is up for sale. He said...it would be done by the end of the day. That call was also recorded. Very very bad manners. Zero care for the customer! You cannot reach anyone who actually cares because their customer service keeps giving you your salesman who came out to perform the measurements. Okay, Ill end here and Ill simply ask the owner, Will this be made right? Any business that makes the customer pay for their mistake is a shady business. I wont have any problem paying my balance as soon as my windows match. We have only 2 windows in the front of that house. Now they do not match. While my wife was in the back of the house, watching another picture window installation, the wrong window was placed in the front of the home and their own crew chief discovered the error. Why in the world would ANY customer agree to that? That doesnt make any sense and NOBODY will understand that.Update: After 1 Salesman, 1 Crew Chief, 2 Field Supervisors & 2 Managers (correspondence recorded) we were finally contacted by Corporate. $200 was taken from our final balance which we submitted due to their contract ONLY. However, they have now ordered us a matching window for the front of our home. If this does not happen, I will add another summary of any new issue.Final Update: Several weeks later. Derrill Thomas stepped in to correct our issue and kept his word. However, because the transaction went through the same location, Baton Rouge, it was not without complication. It further supported my opinion that the Baton Rouge location needs to be completely overhauled. If you take reviews seriously and would like to use Window World, please contact Derrill Thomas directly and ONLY go through him for your entire job. Otherwise, you will regret using this company.My thoughts: The employees who contacted us regarding this incident should not be working directly with customers. Place them in the store room on inventory or shipping and receiving. They need to understand that when you make a mistake in life, you apologize and do what you can to correct the error. There is no way I will ever believe this is the first time they behaved so badly. 5 men? All acting like the mob. The Crew Chief was the ONLY decent employee who noticed the mistake immediately but apparently could do little to affect the outcome. Treat people right, men. You know better!

Hopefully perception isnt reality but it seems they could care less about the customers time. Employee giving initial estimate was rude and didnt explain much. I received a follow-up to the initial visit from a supervisor and another person was sent. He could not have been nicer, so I decided to use Window World. On the day the windows were to be measured nobody showed up. Apparently it was his day off. My wife removed all blinds, curtains, etc the day before the install and they called this morning to cancel. Unfortunately the installers truck wont start. Rescheduled for 5 days later; according to them nobody is installing windows in the Lafayette area the rest of the week. So now everything taken out of the way for the window installation has put back up for a few days and then taken down again. Small child at home and its just creepy having your house completely open. I called and texted the supervisor that called for quality control after the first visit a few times today..... No response. I called in a complaint and he texted me back within 10 minutes, guess his phone was on after all. Heres hoping the installers truck starts Monday since they already have my down payment.In response to the owner. I was supposed to receive a call yesterday, never did. My wife was told they didnt call yesterday because I called too late at 3:45.....I called at 1. My wife was called this morning instead of me even though I specifically asked that I be called. I still cant believe they told an upset customer that they would try to sqeeze us in today, but cant because they are preparing for an event instead....

Beautiful windows, however, service after installation leaves a lot to be desired. Windows were ordered in November and installed in December. One was broken and one was made incorrectly. I have been waiting almost 4 months to get them corrected and reinstalled.
