I had a shattered window. They came out, measured and called me with a quote of $202.00!!! After the installation I found the trim of the window was cracked . I called and they told me the technician would be out to look at it. Then they call the day he is to come out and tell me that the technician said my type of window is hard to repair and sometimes damage happens! Would I like to order a new window or take a $50 credit??? Well needless to say I am not going to have them put in another window after they had already charged me $202.00.Very unprofessional!

The installer was on-time and very quick with the install.He obviously valued my time and was extremely clean to the point of bringing in his own shop vac. The install work was flawless and I would recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience! I had a request for two pieces of glass to be made for an antique cabinet. I called in with the specifications in inches and within a week had the finished product in my cabinet. It looks beautiful. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend you try them out!

I got an appointment to have a quote to replace windows and patio door. A representative showed on time. Took general measures and said I should get the quote with in a few days. Over a week later, I went in to the store for more info on products and to see if there was a readon I had not received the quote. People tried to be helpful, but had little knowledge about the resudential products I was looking at. Didnt have info on door units I was wanting to buy. All out of stock. Said quote still not figured. I called back the following week, still quote not ready. Now 3 weeks after original appointment, still no quote. Probably to small of a job, or not enough personnel. Im moving on with other quotes.

Always greeted cheerfully! Great service & quick too! So, if ever you need to get a ding in your wind shield fix, give them a call!

Got no satisfaction, was only a phone call

I’m a rental resident so I had no choice of what company put a new window in my house. Whoever replaced my window left broken glass all over my living room floor, on my window sill, and in my yard. I’m not talking tiny dots of glass, I’m talking large shards AND smaller bits of glass. Imagine a child not seeing that glass and stepping on it (I did step on it barefoot, good thing it didn’t cut me) or running it through a lawn mower and shooting it everywhere. Not good. He was supposed to put a window in my front door too but never did. He came later than the time window I was given as well. The guy that came out was quick but that’s about the only positive thing I have to say. I’ve heard good things but it kinda sucks this was my first experience. Super disappointed. On the plus side, at least I wasn’t the one paying Lafayette Glass or I definitely would have wanted a refund

I just had a window busted out. I called Lafayette glass on a Wednesday, they told me they would have someone call me early in the week. Today is Thursday, no call. I was told they were busy, well how about a phone call? Obviously Lafayette glass doesnt need your business. I went with Gillham. If Lafayette glass would have at least provided a courtesy call, I may have went with them.

I use Lafayette Glass for EVERYTHING concerning glass. Ive had them repair chips in my windshield, (Ive had them replace a windshield as well,) I had them repair my screens, Ive used them to replace a dozen windows in my home because the gas had leaked out due to broken seals, and Ive had them custom cut mirrors and glass to fit over tables. I have only gotten courteous and quick service and would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Ive had nothing but great service from Lafayette Glass, From coming in when I was a young boy with my Dad and Grandpa to now buying custom glass for my home and business. Lafayette Glass has been around as long as I can rememeber. Ive bought custom glass shelves, glass shower doors, sunroofs, windows and windshields over the last 25 years. I have never had any problems.

Great place to quick glass replace

My fiancé tried getting both the passenger and driver side window fixed. They broke off the door panel, leaving broken screws tips inside the frame making it impossible to put the door panel back on, then when asked to fix it, they claimed the door panel was glued in place which is why it broke. The door was never glued in place and we are now stuck with a bigger problem than from what we had going in. Extremely unprofessional staff, blaming the customer for the machanics breaking the door then refusing to fix it. Highly recommend you stay away from this place.

They are able to cut my mirror to very specific measurements when unable to find in local hardware stores.

I had taken in one window screen to have the screen replaced and one to have the frame remade and scree replaced. It was on June 2nd I was told that it would take a week to 10 days and they would call when it was done. I called June 15th to check the status and they would call me back with that. I didnt hear back. I called again on June 24th to check the status once again and was told I would receive a call back. Again I did not hear back. I went in on July 5th to pick them up and they were still not done. I was very disappointed that these were not completed when I was initially told they would be, no calls back and not a word as to why they were not. Clearly very disappointed.
