AVOID! - I am a contractor of 20 plus years completing commercial store fronts installs and repairs. I ordered glass from Toledo glass to replace a store front due to vandalism. It took Toledo Glass several tries and 6 months to get it right! All the while dishing out rudeness whenever I inquired about progress. I thought that just the front desk lady was rude until nearer the end of my wait when I received the same from the owner. It’s surprising to me that this business can stay in play with how they treat their customers. Those negative reviews below are all that I experienced ... and more. Find someone who values your hard-earned dollar and treats you as the only customer on the planet instead of a pesky nuisance they’d rather ignore.

They are busy busy. So turnaround is a bit slow, but worth it. Reasonable prices, very good workmanship.

I am a contractor and Toledo Glass did an awesome job. They came out when they were supposed to and the installed the 2 panels and a shower glass door. They did all of their cuts outside and kept the new bathroom very clean. I recommended Toledo glass to close relatives and I will continue to use them again and again

I have done a few projects with Toledo Glass in Lafayette and they have all been positive. I have worked with the owner at the front desk and his wife on the phone; both very pleasant to work with! The glass projects were much quicker than expected. And interest was taken in what I was doing.

My experience has been bad with the front desk help.She is short and abrupt with customers and does not inspire confidence.She ordered the wrong item for me. Not once did she apologize nor take responsibility for the mishap.I asked her to follow up with a confirmation email on the replacement item and she did not do it.She does not represent the company well!I ordered a glass high end shower door and they sent installers that did not know what they were doing, making needless holes in the tiles and not having a clue as to where to install it. Disappointing!

Owner Eddie was horrible. Our contractor had put a credit card on file and had worked with him for many years. Eddie comes to our home demanding the remaining $300 that was not even 30 days late threatening that he was putting a lean on our home on Monday this was Friday late afternoon. This was the first we heard of this issue and he comes out threatening us. Our contractor had been on vacation and knew he had a card on file. Well I guess they just happen to change the policy and no longer kept cards on file but did not bother telling the people who had cards on file.

Worst contractor experience - do not use. Ordered a replacement for our shower glass. Switching from Brass to Frameless. They removed the old on a Friday and said theyd be back on Monday to install the new. Called Friday night to say that they couldnt do Monday and needed to install Tuesday. Called Monday morning (when no one was home, because they said they werent coming) to say they were at the house. Then said they couldnt come back until the following Friday. That Friday, they came at the very end of their window of time - and did the worst possible install. The glass didnt fit, instead of admitting that and remeasuring and delaying the install - the installer put about 1/2-1 of silicon calking in between two of the glass panels. They whole thing was about to fall over by itself. Called to complain and was repeatedly told that Eddie (the owner) would call back... never did.Install #2, installer shows up at the very end of the window again, uninstalls the whole thing and reinstalls it. Silicon all over everything - really really poor job. Between the glass, tons of air bubbles... then the door couldnt open w/o scraping across the bottom (damaging the installed shower pan), the hinges were misaligned, and crooked and the rubber parts under the hinges were sticking out at weird angles... it was a total botch. At the end and after a lot of complaining that the job that he felt was okay was horrible, he said hed have to go and ask to get approved another piece of glass, because it was mismeasured. And wed have to wait another week. In total we went 3 and a half weeks without a shower in our master.Install #3. I get a call from the receptionist (who is really there to make sure you dont talk to the owner... total blocker). She said theyd install on Monday. I said they wouldnt be allowed in my house until I spoke to the owner. The owner finally called, but not me, called my wife when I asked that he call me. The installer showed up at the end of the window and stayed in my house until after 7pm. There is still messy silicon in weird places, the bottom frame is cut poorly... but it is better than it was - on the whole, Id give it a 6 out of 10. I expected and paid well for a 9 or 10 out of 10.At this point, I am just glad the experience is over -Never use Toledo Glass - they do not care about the quality of their work, they do not respect their customers and have zero pride in their work.Find someone else - anyone.

Good experience all the way around. Had our glass in garage doors replaced within 24 hours of the initial call.

HORRIBLE! This company is extremely rude, had to redo our shower glass 3 times, tracked in mud into the home, and still owes us a refund. They are a nightmare....avoid!!!!
