Update October 2021It’s been over a year now since I met with Anthony the sales rep for Bluebird. I was mostly interested in doors as my windows were okay except for opening a little hard. I went ahead and ordered windows partly because of the volume discount. I told Anthony that I would love coming home from work and easily opening all my windows every evening. He promised me the world…Five month later I get the message that my products are in! Niko promised two crews, one windows and one door. Only windows showed up the first day. Day two I had Brian and Niko at my door 8 am because I had made a fair fuss about only two installers showing up the previous day. This should have been a one day project. That morning I brought up a concern about one window fitting super tight and hard to open, I was told it would loosen up in time.After two full days of install my products were mostly “in” except one door was ordered way too big so couldn’t be installed. Two screens were missing, one window arrived broken and the front door did not have its matching trim.About two weeks later, when the replacement window was in, I met John and Niko at my house to do a walkthrough. I noted that my front door was still needing trimmed. My small bedroom windows and tiny picture window had enormous casings and an additional about 1/2 inch open space all around. My picture window was installed crooked.I also noted that the tight fitting windows still were not easy to slide. While Niko and John were there replacing the broken window I showed them that the new cutout walk through door into the garage was not where we had agreed it would be cut! My new sliding patio door has a full inch of caulking only on one side and doesn’t latch. The exterior trim around my windows, gummed with caulk and screws drilled right through rather than replacing as promised by Anthony, the sales guy. Ex sales guy by now.I suggested a discount… Brian angrily denied any discounts and filed a lien against my home for final payment in full. He made an unreasonable all or nothing offer that I return ALL his products in order to get all my money back. This of course was impossible for me to do especially without the $12,000.00 I’d already given them.I’ve been following Bluebird reviews pretty closely since my unfortunate experience. Honestly it seems like they aren’t really doing any REAL window installing business, not sure how they’re supporting those fancy company vehicles…. I’ve learned that they are not licensed (in Arvada at least) and work without proper permits. I suspect that may have something to do with not fixing my door that was cut in the wrong spot.I have called, left messages, emailed trying to get my job completed or my money back. Brian would rather throw me under the bus than make this right. He claims I have received “everything as I ordered it”, which is odd and untrue.Brian, show me some real reviews with actual work performed I dare you.

I was updated at every step of this project and always had someone I could reach out to for questions. The installation team ROCKED. Our experience was fantastic from start to finish and we love our new windows! Rob did a great job providing a detailed estimate and helping us pick the best window configurations for our house. Nico scheduled the crew quickly and did a full walkthrough after installation. The installation crew were wonderful - prompt and efficient, friendly and respectful, cleaned up debris as they worked and covered all of our furniture. We had two screens with small nicks in them, the crew showed us during installation and Nico had them rescreened and back to us within a few days. Very happy with our choice to use BlueBird!

I contracted with Bluebird Windows to get a new patio glass door in 2020. When Covid hit I decided I couldn’t have people in my house and Bluebird Windows was very willing to work with me and put off the installation until I felt safe.I did get the window put in July 21. They did an excellent job – a beautiful job!! They were very detail oriented went above and beyond and cleaned up after themselves flawlessly. And believe me - I am an extremely picky person. I will use them again for any future window needs and their prices are very fair comparatively.

After dealing with 4 or 5 competitors and sitting through hours of presentations, I had almost given up because all of the big companies had a minimum purchase of 3-6 windows! We had our first floor windows installed by Bluebird. Our overall experience was top-notch. Our sales consultant Rob, was very nice and not at all like a used cars salesman (cough Anderson Windows cough) and gave us some great insights. The installation crew was pretty solid overall, but the highlight of our experience hands down was the assigned project manager we worked with, Nico. Nico checked in with us daily during the installation, was able to address a number of our concerns during installation and ended up coming back and painting our windows free of charge- just to go above and beyond for great customer service. Nico was amazing to work with- he even sent us cookies once the install was completed! I highly recommend working with him if possible, and Bluebird in general. Much better prices than Anderson (and a much better experience), plus youre supporting an amazing local business.Thank you Bluebird- you guys rock!

I highly recommend BlueBird Windows. From the first meeting with the sales representative, Cliff, through the end I was very clear on what to expect. No surprises and no additional costs. My old windows were very, very old so there was concern that there would be damage trying to get them out but the installers were careful and I was extremely pleased that little to no repair work was required. I am very pleased by the whole experience.

Our installers were on time and friendly. They explained the entire process and and the quality of their work was top notch. Even in the beginning, the person who came out to measure and give us a quote did an excellent job and wasn’t pushy. They helped us find a financing promotion that worked for our budget and we were able to do the entire project in one wave instead the the 3 we had planned. Now for the best part…the windows. Our house is now sooo quiet. My wife doesn’t even hear me start my motorcycle out front, even though I have pipes that make it over 100db. They have made a huge impact on the stabilization of the temp in our home and we have noticed a significant reduction in the amount heat the windows block out when the west side of our home gets blasted by the sun all afternoon. This has been one of if not the best decisions we have made for improvements on our home. Thank you Bluebird and I will be and already have recommended you to our friends and family.

The attention to detail and extra effort to make sure our door was installed perfectly and drywall was repaired to be as good (or better?) than before the door was installed was fantastic. Our house is old and has very small windows to begin with. The two tiny upstairs bedrooms each have only one little window in them. After our new windows were installed I noticed that we had lost a huge amount of actual window in our windows. We of course bought the most energy efficient window as that was all we were offered. The sales guy really oversold us on our tiny windows! These windows have enormous casings and were slightly mis measured to include about 2/3 inch space on both sides. My bedroom window is 35” wide and the actual glass Payne 27”. Really, it’s like a little port hole in my bedroom.

BlueBird was very nice to work with starting with the sales process, where they listened to what I wanted and delivered that and even a little more than I expected. There was no pressure to replace all my windows; I only wanted to replace a few problem windows and a patio door. The windows and door look and operate great, and my master bedroom is so much quieter. The windows do a great job of insulating--no more hot morning sun on the east and south sides and no more heat loss on cold days. After years of struggling with my old windows and door needing constant repair and even falling apart, Im really looking forward to the lifetime warranty on the windows and doors. The installation crew was very professional and friendly and did a super job with the install and clean up.

I worked as a construction estimator way back and so always get 3 bids. You learn more than just a price in that process - also how a company operates, whether theyre being fair in pricing, how professional they are. One guy advertises in this area but then complained that it was so far from his shop. The second company was friendly and prompt, but their price seemed high. Then I talked with Bluebird. I liked their process: a professional salesman with good information about quality materials, at a good price and on a reasonable schedule. I wanted it sooner, but their clear message about quality windows from a Colorado source made a lot of sense. The installers were efficient, patient with my questions and did a great job. AND: the 2nd guys price was over THREE TIMES the Bluebird price! I guess some companies try that on dumb homeowners?This dumb homeowner chose Bluebird and is very happy with every part of my experience. I love looking out this great window all day and its so much quieter! Looking forward to winter with a much warmer window.Ive done the research, just go with these guys.

BlueBird did a great job with our new patio slider door installation. The work was first class, and the new door is a HUGE improvement. We will definitely use BlueBird for all our future window and door replacements.

We looked at many companies before choosing Blue Bird. We are very glad we made this choice. Having a home built in 1968 means so many things need updating. We have had many contractors here over the 15 years. Blue Bird was right on from the first appt. They clearly respected that we are in a pandemic. The communication was excellent and the install was fast and respectful to our home. Even my very picky husband was impressed, not just happy but above happy. We have another window project in the spring and look forward to working with Blue Bird again!

The pricing was phenomenal compared to other quotes we received, and the quality of the door is excellent. We also had a door taken out and large window put in, and another window replaced. Their professionalism and craftsmanship was spot on. We are totally thrilled with their service and would happily use them again.

BlueBird replaced the glass of 4 windows that started to fog. All workers wore masks and kept their distance. The workers placed runners on the floor so they would not make a mess. The cleanup was excellent. Very professional. Thank You BlueBird.

It has taken me a year to write this review. We met with Brian in the summer of 2019 and pick out window--Weathershield. We spent just under 30k on these windows. While the install was fine, our windows are horrible. They were improperly manufactured, and when we reached out to Brian and the manufacturer they did a homemade repair that didnt work. I ended up having a conversation with Brian that was awful--he basically yelled at me because I said I felt swindled into these bad window and now out 30K. It took 5 different trips from bluebird over 7 months to repair them, but it didnt work. I asked for compensation or refund and no one ever replied. Im currently sitting my my window feeling a cold November breeze go by my hair. These windows are TERRIBLE. Avoid bluebird and weathershield at ALL costs.

We worked with BlueBird to replace our big front window and install a sliding door in place of an existing window in our mud room. They were super easy to work with and we didnt feel pressured. COVID happened right after we decided to go with the install, but they were still easy to communicate with and our install was not impacted. Install went well and, so far, were very please. I would highly recommend working with them. They are local so youll get that extra attention and care you wont get from a big box store.

We had an in-home evaluation/presentation with another window company that lasted THREE HOURS. The sales person, while not overtly rude, just droned on and on, repeating how wonderful their windows were -- and such a great deal (though, of course, his initial quote dropped by 40% two days later). A day or two later Brian, the owner of BlueBird, came by for a meeting to talk about ordering windows. He was cordial, professional, to the point, and on his way in under an hour, with our down-payment in hand. Pre-sale, the contrast couldnt have been more striking.From the first appointment, to the official measurement visit, to installation, to final walk-through (where some last-minute tweaks were made, at our request), everyone was great and had that can do attitude. Our windows and sliding glass door are great (50% quieter than the original ones, we estimate). Happy to recommend this locally owned small business to others.

My neighbor had worked with BlueBird to create a beautiful garden window (seriously--this thing was stunning!) so they were my go-to choice when we needed our own windows replaced.Brian was incredibly helpful in getting everything measured, making recommendations about what would look best in our space, and advocating with our insurance company to make sure they were properly evaluating our current windows and giving us the the appropriate funds for replacement. The windows arrived on time and were installed in a single day. Since we were trying to get things replaced during COVID, the team took extra precautions around our house during the installation. The windows turned out beautifully and we immediately noticed the sound dampening benefits over our previous windows.In short, Brian and team did a great job with our complex insurance situation, kept billing separated between costs we were paying vs. our insurance without adding confusion on my end, managed the entire process in a professional manner with great communication throughout, took extra care with our home to get everything installed quickly and safely, and then followed up afterwards to make sure everything had gone according to plan and that we were happy with our purchase. I’ve had a relationship with this company now for four years. They replaced most of my windows and I’m happy with them. Early last fall, I had a golf ball break one of my window panes. It was under warranty with the manufacturer-kind of- and BlueBird Windows and Doors went to bat for me. It took awhile because of the manufacture. However, Bluebird never gave up advocating for me and was able to get my window fixed. Having a local window company who acts like your neighbor is key when picking a business to work with.

Bluebird windows in Lafayette did an excellent job on my window renovation. I highly recommend. They where professional, timely in all my requests and offered a fair price (since I am a vet, they even honored/supported my military service). I felt like I was the only customer so made my window project less stressful then past projects. Blue Bird offers a product that makes them unique. The Verde windows offered by Blue Bird are hands down the best windows for the best money I believe. I noticed immediately a difference in less sound, less heat and the extra clean designs of the windows. As an added benefit my house has a new look now with Verde;s sleek design. This summer, limited need for the air condition, incredible. I cant wait until this winter. My new windows maintain the internal temp, thus I am looking forward to the cost saving this winter.I did my research, the Verde comes complete with all special features so no add on like other companys or products. That is what I love about my Verde windows, so simple to understand what I am purchasing. The warranty coverage made my new window purchase an easy decision.---Bottom line: I have fallen in love with my house again thanks to Blue Bird transforming my older builder windows. I like the windows and patio door that Bluebird installed, but I LOVE the customer service. Everyone that I met, from the owner down was extremely nice, personable, and professional. Installation was good and everyone made sure that I was happy with the results. I had a patio door with a dog door built into it installed that I didnt like and they replaced it with the exact dog door that I wanted. Extremely happy with the finished product. And the price was better than the big guys. Would recommend to anyone.

The windows and door that we had installed are of high quality with all the features we were hoping for, and more! Brian of BlueBird Windows & Doors was involved with the project of replacing 4 of our damaged windows. Two of which were specialty windows. Brian clearly explained the process of the project in detail, including the window options. Since the windows are custom made it required time to measure and construct. This project took 6 weeks from when we signed the contract to Brians post installation inspection. The windows are a significant upgrade to the original builder’s installation. The cost of the project was very affordable especially for the quality of the window (Sunrise), the installation crew and the efficiency of the installation. The crew was courteous, professional and respectful of the work areas. Drop cloths and padding were used to protect flooring and sinks and bathtubs. The experience of excellent workmanship and products made this project pleasant. Our home looks like new. Brian worked with our budget and we are very happy with the results. His honesty, professional and personable demeanor gives this window replacement a thumbs up. We highly recommend BlueBird Windows and Doors.

Not sure where to start. First our bay window was leaking water. Took blue bird 4 trips to come and fix it. The window was not installed correctly. Now our sliding glass door. Has air coming around the frame. Again not installed correctly. I have call a tech came and looked at it. Was told it will be fixed. That was 4 weeks ago. Nobody has showed up.

Brian and BlueBird Construction did an outstanding job installing four new windows in my town house. I cant believe how quiet and bright my house is now! They were so quick and professional; I could not have had a better experience!

I am ASTONISHED at the very high level of service I am STILL recieiving from Bluebird- these guys are great!! Any issue Ive had has been taken care of within a day. The 3 issues Ive had, by the way, have all been Operator Error- meaning, my mistakes. That being said, today, still, when I called, John responded immediately and took ownership of the situation (that I caused, Oooops). Ive recommended this company to my friends and they have been happy as well.

I had these guys replace about 10 windows at my house in Boulder. They were great to work with (I worked with John) from first contact all the way through completion. They came back to make some adjustments 6 months after installation for no charge and no fuss. Installation was on time and very efficient, and Im very happy with the windows!

Great windows and excellent service from a company who cares. Bluebird replaced several original metal framed windows in our home with their flagship double-hung series. Great value. Process was efficient from first contact to measure to install. The guys were efficient and professional. Refreshing.

We replaced 6 windows last year and although it wasn’t a ton, I still did thorough research on windows, companies, etc (ad they still are expensive!). We ended up going with Bluebird and were so happy. Not only are they local, but they were great to work with and the windows are great. Brian was very responsive, honest, and helpful. A year later, I can tell you that our heating bill is down on average $50-60/month just from the windows! Definitely worth it!

Our windows were installed in January and we cannot be happier! We can already see a difference in our energy bills. We are on a main street and the house is much quieter with the new windows. BlueBird offers a good deal and fantastic service. Would highly recommend!

We recently had some damage to our 20 year old sliding glass door and custom window after some heavy hail and rain, which was then followed up by a snow storm. I called around to a few door and window places that said they couldnt come out for an estimate for another 3 weeks. Brain answered my call and arranged to come out same day during a May snowstorm and check out my issue and showed genuine concern for my door which at that point had started leaking water. He was honest and courteous, and gave me a fair price for a high quality product. The next day he and John came out and measured my door, finalized my quote and even offered me amazing financing options which was helpful due to the unexpected nature of having to suddenly replace our patio door. When it came time to install the crew was courteous and efficient. They started their work promptly and even understood that I was working on a timeline and needed to be back at work by noon. They completed the project on time and John even came back out to paint the trim and check out some of my other windows he was concerned about. I have dealt with some major chain contractors for some painting projects and things, and this was the complete opposite of those experiences. These guys were professional courteous and honest, plus they seemed like good guys and its nice to add some personality to outstanding customer service. I would highly recommend.

When I moved into my townhouse I knew Id immediately need some windows - my large bedroom window was so bad cold air just came right into the room. We had a screen door and 2 window screens replaced. Bluebird came out right away to fix them, and they look great! The customer service was wonderful as well!

Excellent window and door replacement company! We shopped several companies and either thought they were WAY over-priced or questioned the quality of the windows they were selling. BlueBird was great from start to finish.Brian is a window guy with years of experience installing and selling them. He knows all the brands and options and helped make recommendations based on needs, budget, and schedule. Hes an excellent communicator, from start to finish to follow-up.Mike and Mario were excellent installers. They didnt mind me poking in during the process to ask questions. They took care to keep the area clean through each step of the process, and when they were done, they even closed the side gate to keep the dog in. Very courteous!We will be contacting them soon for Phase 2!

I was frustrated with the sales rep at the company I chose to do a few of my windows a couple years ago so I went online to search for other window options, of course bracing myself for more frustration given the industry. But I was pleasantly surprised with BlueBird Windows & Doors because within hours of requesting information Brian had reached out to me by email with helpful info.
