I haven’t had a pedicure in almost two years but I am 8 months pregnant and can’t do my toes now so I decided to visit today! It was a good relaxing experience for me. The male tech did a great job and took his time. I did notice another female tech telling a woman her eyebrows were too big which I know is a tactic to make money on waxes but she said it several times… found that a little rude/off putting but other than that a good experience!

This is a great place to get bubbly gel manicure that will lift in a week. I came with natural smooth nails. The filing was so bad. I got burned and she left then so jagged, the cotton ball was caught on every nail. Never mind that, polish was applied in top of it. This was an older lady. I doubt she even has a license. No cuticle oil was used. Ladies they give it to you dry in this place. It was terrible and cost me $37

Went in for a pedicure. Never offered a beverage. Filled the basin with water and started pushing the cuticles back one foot> Never let the foot soak and never applied cuticle remover to either feet. Massage was 5 seconds, and never put flip flops on. I sat 15 min and still no flip flops. Of course one nail got messed up when I put my shoes on. For 30.00 that was a joke.

Practically butchered my daughters fingers and had to redo her nails four times in the same visit! They cut her skin numerous times,, messed up her cuticles, then had the audacity to charge her full price! Had I been there, this would NOT have happened. They should be ashamed of treating a young teen like this. Will NOT be back.

After spending the whole year taking care of others, feeling less than human. They helped making me feel human. The tech was awesome did a beyond fabulous job on my nails and feet. The place is clean. And very relaxing. Excellent job!

I just want the older Asian woman to know, I hadn’t had a pedicure since the pandemic and paying $115 for me and my daughters feet to get done I would’ve expected better but the woman stayed on the phone the whole three hours we were there and my big toes have bled on the sides every since also a couple people got mad and left because that woman stayed on the phone like don’t you care about what people are paying for? Don’t look forward to seeing me again imma run from y’all

I got my nails done for prom and I was satisfied with how they came out. However, I went back to have them removed and they filed my nail almost raw. The lady doing them said oh your nails are weak after finishing everything up... My nails were healthy went I walked in and they look terrible when I walked out.

They over charged me, and my nails had lumps in themNot filed down good .. I wont be back 😡

I re-visited this salon yesterday and walked away paying $100 for a less than satisfactory job for a mani/pedi. Attached are images of my manicure which did not include trimming my cuticles, any oil, lotion, or good paint job - I had a nail dip done. I would not suggest this salon to care for your nails.

I had my younger daughter there with us also, the lady who runs the place painted her nails for free...If your in the Knoxville area and need your nails done definitely look them up..... and ask for Mary.... Everyone was so sweet, friendly & entertaining. I believe my tech shaped my nails & did them so carefully to the point where she asked me if I wanted them thin & I said yes thank you. I loved the results although the original gel polish that I wanted ran out, but it was still great. She was very detail oriented & made sure I was satisfied!!

Went last week and Paid $55 & he did my gel nails completely wrong on my left hand they was sticky when I left.

Trash rudest place I have ever been all my nails are different shape, globs of paint like a 4 year old could have dont better, and left there with wet gel nails after I said they were sticky and went dry 3 times. Save yourself some trouble and dont go here 👌

First and last trip here. The lady who done my nails booth #1 was very rude!!! There were people waiting so she flew thur my nails in a hurry they are ALL different lengths and really thick. She kept looking at the people waiting and playing on her phone and drilling my fingers instead of my nails. I walked out with Fresh nails looking like I need a fill in. I do not reccomend and will not ever go back there.looks like my 5 yr old painted them. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE

Wanted to find a salon that was closer to home, after reading reviews I drove and walked in for a Gel manicure and honey spa pedicure. my nail tech, after choosing my color I was escorted to my pedicure chair. The chairs seemed brand new, the massage was very powerful which is exactly what was needed! After choosing the pedicure choice, mason began. The pedicure was fantastic. hands were very strong and I cant say Ive ever had someone remove the rough areas on the bottom of my feet as well as did. Kudos! Once the pedicure was complete we went and moved to the manicure area. The manicure was very well done, even cut all the cuticles around my nails. told me about the rewards program which was free of charge and provides you a percentage back dependent on the price you charge. Definitely will be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I went for a gel acrylic fill and was charged $45. Seemed a little pricey to me but I still paid and tipped as well. The color I got turned out to be too much of a pink for me and I decided to get the color changed. I asked if they would change the color the next day and a man did almost a complete fill-in when I just wanted a polish change, charging me another $20, for which I tipped for again. The next day, I noticed black spots on my nails that looked like bubbles that would not come off. Some of them then started to become a discolored yellow. I was pretty upset at this point. When I asked the lady to fix them, showing her the discolored and the black spots, she then proceeded to blame me and said that I was doing something that made them look like that. She attempted to fix them anyway, and decided to just paint over my nails with the same color. I’m assuming she knew not to charge me at this point because I had no intention of giving them any more of my money. Little to my surprise, the discoloration and the spots are back. I decided to go somewhere else where they fixed my nails perfectly. I would not recommend this place at all. They have a bad reputation of being overpriced and having bad customer service.

I went in for a full set with gel. When I signed in they asked if I wanted a pedi as well so I thought..well why not?!? During the pedicure the tech started scrubbing my foot with this hard, sharp brush. I felt a burning feeling but I didn’t think anything of it. When I got home And it was still hurting I looked and there was a very large scratch on the bottom of my foot. It more than likely bled in the tub and on the horrendous brush she used. I know she had to have seen! The woman who did my nails was very nice but my nails look horrible. I just got them done on Thursday evening and will be going elsewhere to get them re-done tonight. I just can’t live with these for 2 weeks!

Love this place. Reasonably priced and really clean (at least in comparison to other nail salons with similar pricing). The ladies are very nice, professional and quick. The place gets packed sometimes, so plan accordingly. Highly recommend!!!

Mary the nail tech rolled eyes at me three times when she continued to ignore the service I requested for nails, I finally left with no nails on....and 4 of my nails are bleeding from the roughness of removing old tips!!! I’ve been a customer for 15 years and have never been so disrespected for a service I’m paying for!! Will request Lee or Dustin only from now on if I return!! Mary is arrogant and not the prudent professional nail artist she thinks is!!

I wish I could have given 0 stars! I was a very loyal customer of Tek Nails for 10+ years but that didn’t matter to the staff on January 1st!! I called on Dec 31st to find out the hours of operation on Jan 1st. I was told the shop would be open from 10a-5p. I arrived at 2-2:30 and the door was being locked as I was WALKING to the door. I was told they had things to do and were closing! Therefore I left and went to another salon where they were friendly and did a great job on my nails. I will NEVER return to Tek!!!! What happened to me should never happen to a customer anywhere!!!!

This place definitely deserves 0 stars. The nail techs are very rude and IGNORANT. The staff told my daughter and I the wait would be 2 hours, but there was no one in the salon and about 4 nail Techs. They were clearly trying to turn us away. Another thing a woman who came in after me was taken as soon as she walked through the door. I asked if she had an appointment and she replied “No.” The staff of course lied again telling me she did. Out of every nail shop I have been to this is the worst service I have EVER received. On top of all of that they need to dust. Please don’t waste your time and money here. Tek WILL NOT get another dime of my money.

I literally watched them put a USED toe separate back in the drawer to re use. I came for a basic mani and pedi with gel. I have very pretty long natural nails and asked if they would trim them alittle.. they cut them to the nub.. and I can’t even talk about my toes it makes me so mad... all this for $82?! Trash nail salon do not recommend.

Would not recommend. The wait wouldnt have been so bad if my feet werent soaking in cold water... once the tech finally made her way to my chair(45 minutes later), she rushed through the pedicure and did a very sloppy job. I will not return.

Honestly my over all experience was awful. I was charged way to much for what I got. Two days after 4 of my nails were already lifting. I called and one of the ladys told me to come in at 7:30 so I did and once I got there the door was locked and only one person was there so I knocked on the door and she told me I was late. When I know she told me 7:30. So she was kind enough to fix them BUT she really didnt fix them at all I told her the acrylic was all over my cuticles and was very uncomfortable so all she did was file them down leaving my nail bare 3 centimeters from my cuticle so now 3 of my nails look like theyve grown with them on for two weeks and 6 of my nails have already lifted. Over all my experience was terrible. The worst part is I gave them a chance to fix them and theyre still horrible. I went to school to be a nail tech and they were VERY unprofessional.

I went here last night, first and last time. I am a cosmetologist so I know how nails are supposed to be done. First of all, NOTHING was sanitized after the lady that sat there right before me. She literally started working on me immediately. The woman did not push my cuticles back or cut them. She didnt cut or file my real nails before applying the full set. One of the nails she applied with glue didnt fit my finger right so she yanked it off, with it already being glued to my nail! She did not have me wash my hands at any point. Did not drill under the nails at all to remove the leftover acrylic. When she polished my nails she got fuzz all in my nails so it looks like I have fuzzy nails. She misses a huge spot on one of my nails AND left nail polish on my skin. Theres a dent in one nail, and they arent filed evenly and to top it all off, I now have an infection where she cut me with the drill, which was not sanitized!! It hurts and its red. I have never in my life been this disappointed with my nails. Another lady offered to fix them but I just wanted to leave. I had already been there long enough. So I paid to have my nails look like my 5 year old did them and now I have to go pay extra to have them fixed if my finger can heal!! I know the laws and regulations for salons because I am a salon manager myself, I could seriously get you shut down! I have never been so angry in my life after leaving a salon!!!

I wear boots all day every day for work. Ive had pedicures all over the city and my girlfriend finally brought me here. Hands down the best pedicures in the city! Im moving out of Knoxville but will be making the drive for this excellent service.

I have been going to Tek for about 7 years. The last time I will ever go was two weeks ago. I went on a Sunday and waited 1.5 hours to get a full set. The lady who did my nails is an older lady with short hair, she has done my nails in the past and they were awful. Just wanting to get out of there I took a chance and let her do them again. Firstly, she makes them look very thick to the point it looks like I have fat nails if that makes sense. Secondly, she slops polish on them and doesn’t clean off excess. Thirdly, the length was uneven as can be. Today I needed a fill so I went to a different salon and the wonderful lady who did my nails commented on how bad of a job the person did before her. That’s sad and embarrassing. Will be returning to this new place as the lady did a fabulous job and my nails don’t look mediocre.

Terrible Service!!! I wanted to walk out in the middle of my service. I called and made my appointment with Kenny because he did my nails for years at another salon he is GREAT!!! but whoever made the appointment didnt know how to schedule because Kenny was booked so they stuck me with a guy who didnt understand anything I dont even know if he knew how to do nails he was rough clipped me twice my nails looked terrible all different shapes and started breaking I have great nails that dont just break and my gel polish started coming off after two days I paid 30 dollars when I was told 25 when I made the appointment. I will never go back!!!! EVER....... I only gave 1 star because I had too....

Nails too thick. Too much polish removal added to polish and base coat. Polish job is awful...thick with small bubbles in it. First and last time getting nails there. The 1 star is actually too much for this nail job.Should have read reviews first.

One of the worst nail experiences I’ve had. Tried to do some self care and get my nails done ended up leaving more disappointed. Just wanted simple black tips I’ve never had a problem with any other nail places doing it. The black got streaky and I will give the nail tech some effort to try and fix it but it ended up worse. Then charged me $5 extra for fixing her mistake! Smudged silver lines and looks like a kid drew them on.

I have been going to this salon for years. I have always been treated with respect and was treated kindly. But today was totally different. My nail tech was Brian (he sat at station # 7 and he was extremely rough and when ask to please be more gentle he became very loud and told me he was done with me. I paid my bill and asked him to paint my nails he complained loudly and was extremely rude. I asked several techs who was the manager and I was told there was not one. I will continue to go back until I I speak to a manager or an owner. I have never been so unhappy with my service. Michelle Bryant

Polish job on nails and toes Awful. Thick. Bubbles. Lumpy. Looked decent inside considering the lighting is extremely dim but the moment I stepped foot outside it was very noticeable. The shape and length were great before the polish although the drill burned me several times. On top of everything, their fill in with gel polish is $36 that is way overpriced considering the outcome.

I had my eyebrows done and the older lady keep on and on how large my eyebrows where and I had to much hair on my face. She didn’t stop there. I laughed it off but it was so rude and totally unnecessary.

I visited this nail salon for the first time. The lady was very rude to me. Kept insisting I get my nails done too I kept saying no thank you. She told my friend that she needed her eyebrows done that they were too big. She was very rude to me the whole time. I don’t recommend.

Now I do not normally come to this place, as my normal nail tech resides in Oak Ridge, TN. I was in a pinch and needed mine done, so I stopped here Saturday. When I came in I signed in, and sat for about 40min and was told it would be another 10 or 15 before I could see someone. I had some other things to do that day in the area, so I told them I would be back. That was around 1. I came back around 6, and they were still somewhat busy, but not near what it was before. So again I signed in and waited. I waited for 45 minutes before I was sat, and then proceeded to wait another 20. I cannot remember that womans name that did my nails, but she had short black hair. She was very rough w/the drill on my skin, and did not drill the acrylic nail down enough so when she painted them the paint job looked terrible. The paint chipped as soon as a I left the salon that day. My cousin was also with me and waited even longer for them to start her nails. The lady that did hers was more gentle and took her time, but we were there until 8:45pm! I will not be going back here as it was not a pleasant experience.

Horrible horrible horrible experience!!! Only reason this place doesn’t get a 0 is because there is no option for a 0. The older women who said she would wax my eyebrows when she saw my brows she said “ too big brows” and goes about speaking different language complaining. When I went over to pay she said in a disgusted voice that” brows were too big and she would normally charge $15 but for me she is doing a service by only charging $15. I didn’t say a word until this point because no salon charges by thickness and I said “ well ma”am..... you sign says 10.00... doesn’t say based on thickness so your not really doing me any service” and at that she agreed and walked Away. I normally don’t go to nail salons because they don’t specialize in waxing but wow!!! Customer service here is horrible and Unless you want to be treated like scum I wouldn’t go to this salon.. I will never go back.

Lady was way too rough with the pumice stone, she cut me 4 times... Then was texting for about 30 min. Before doing the manicure. But I assumed maybe it was important? Lady was rude as well. 👀😮😕

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I went to get my nails done showed the girl a picture and told her exactly what I wanted she said Okay,no problem I was then told I would have to use a darker color to cover. When she was done it looked nothing like the picture and I told her so. It was pretty much whatever its done leave now. I called back to complain and was told to come back and Johnny would fix them. I went back and instead of fixing the problem he made it worse! He applied 5 more coats on top of the 4 coats that were already done wrong. My nails look like diseased toenails they are so thick. I kept telling him it wasnt even and it was cakey but he ignored everything I said. I asked for a refund and they refused. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!

The absolute worst place I have ever been in my life, terrible service, does not sanitize equipment, and does a horrible job. I could of done my nails at home myself better than this place. Got a manicure and he put my hands in ice cold water, no oil or lotion. I wouldn’t go back here even if it was free!!!

I NEVER get my nails done and I went here to try it and I got a French manicure acrylic went back in two weeks later and had them filled when I got them taken off I had fungus all over my nails. I have never had that before their stuff is dirty and they never clean their tools the place is disgusting.

I went to Tek Nails October 20th, I got the strawberry pedicure the service was good, although I was not offered my drink. I am back on October 30th because I broke my toe nail. Worst service ever. I have almost walked out twice. Someone was working on my toe nailThen a lady walks in for a deluxe pedicure they stop working on my toe so I get ready to leave there like he doesnt know how to put the acrylic on. Why would someone not say we will be right back with you in a second.This has been my worst experience at Tek Nail.

Went for Manicure and Pedicure with Shellac the cost was 60.00. The Shellac was not done properly. It really never set and the paint smudged. When I called I felt like they were not accommodating at all. Last visit. I will spend my money at another salon.

The people are great, but.......... The ladie who done my nails. Kept her eyes on her phone. My fingers hurt, the nails are croocked. Im not happy with my nails very very very disappointed considering i paid 31$ for my nails & 26 for my best friend and the guy who done hers was hateful & short. & her nails are also croocked. TEK NAIL is my go-to nail place! The staff here is absolutely amazing, very friendly and personable, and I never have any trouble scheduling an appointment with them (not to mention, they always run on time). Ive had Ben, Nancy, Lee all work on my nails and each time, Im absolutely in love with the work theyve done. They pay close attention to detail and always make sure youre happy with your nails. Additionally, theyre not one of those gimmicky nail places that tries to tack on additional prices for various designs and whatnot - theyre honest and straightforward (and affordable) with their prices.Im not kidding when I say I get compliments on my nails everywhere I go - friends, work, instagram, gas stations... all thanks to the staff at TEK NAIL!

I have to give the girl that works up front a 4 star the last time she did my nails very friendly and did great work...but before I got I 1 of the girls who was nice but rushed and had messy work ... She was always looking at the door wanting more customers I guess I give her 1 star! Over all nice atmosphere but they do talk back and forth a lot to each other in Vietnamese!

HORRIBLE Place. I went yesterday and was the only customer in the salon for about 30 minutes. I then was seated and the man proceeded to start my full set of nails. They were very uneven when he cut them, and I told him, so he started jerking my arm. Then he went to use the tools and dug underneath my nail where it bled. I was in pain and he actually laughed!!! He and another man were talking and I could not understand them, but it was about me. Then the polish was not put on evenly nor cleaned around the skin. My fingers are very sore and they have never been before. When I left, I did not leave a tip, but he did ask for it. He said tip, tip, tip and I stormed out the door. HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE!

As always, I so thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the Salon. If youre stressed, go get a pedicure, it will turn your whole day !

My first time ever visiting this salon was yesterday, oct. 10th. Everytime I look at my nail I want to cry. I’m so upset. The people there are very nice, but the quality of my nails looks like a 5 year old did it. I went in for a fill in and a pedicure but honestly I would prefer my old nails over these. I want to take them off sooo bad but I literally just paid 86$ which was expensive considering I paid 50 for a basic pedicure with gel and any other salon it’s 40 and 36$ for a fillin with gel which was too bad. I literally wish I could upload a picture. My nails are thick, fat, disformed and very odd shaped. I hate them so bad. Then I showed them the nails I wanted out of there samples and I did not receive that’s that sample looked like. The color isn’t bad but it still isn’t what I wanted. The nails I picked were light blue and I got turquoise. I don’t really care for the color but it isn’t just unbearable so I let them continue, but these nail are Horrendous. I literally want to cry

I have visited TEK nails several times and they ALWAYS do a great job. I usually have ok customer service, but I must say today that wasnt the case. The tech wasnt rude to me, but I watched her be rude to another guest. She was unhelpful, dismissive, and disrespectful.The young lady working the register was AWESOME and deserved five stars and she helped the guest and I and tried to smooth things out with the dissatisfied customer.They didnt mess up my nails, but they did mess up at least two others before me! Hope this helps!

I dont recommend this place at all. For one: none of the tools that they used on me or my mother came out of sterilized packaging and two: it was $130 for 2 pedicures that were not done well enough to cost so much. Ridiculous.

My husband and I got pedicures here because we happened to be in the area. The technician cut my toenails so short he cut into the skin, used the calous remover until my skin was raw, didnt even make an attempt to shape any of the toenails still left, and the color I picked out was so diluted with acetone my toenails look like a child used finger paint on them. If I could rate lower than one star I would. There is no conceivable way I would go here again.

I cant get anyone on the phone to get an appointment! Someone answers (the same man), misunderstands EVERY THING I say and REFUSES to let me speak with someone else! I think he is intentionally being rude because he says yeah to every word I say, even when it doesnt apply to what Im saying. That is beyond unprofessional!

Went in for French gel polish, it cost me $40, I thought that was a little too high. As a nail tech myself, I have seen it done in many places for 20-25. Plus I have too many sharp edges as well as other issues with top coat. Wont go back.
