Great staff, eager to help and knowledgeable.I visited while in town, as I was in need of a hard case for my guitar. I had to check my guitar for a flight in two days. While they had a less expressive case, their employee strongly suggested one $100 more. See the cheap case wasnt going to protect my instrument on a plane, even though I had already decided to purchase the better case, prior to his input.Also if your flying with a stringed instrument, loosen them up so you dont break your neck.

The staff was very helpful yet gave my wife and I the freedom to wander around and shop on our own. Lots of used gear, finally several bass cabs, with decent prices.

This place is AMAZING! GREAT MUSIC SELECTION!! I was buying music for bass guitar for A 15 year old. I had no clue. The guy who help me nailed the selection!! Cant say enough good things about the staff and selection at the Toledo location. They stayed after hours to outfit me with an awesome acoustic guitar at a steal! I had a great experience with this shop. Its very clean and well-organized, with an impressive selection of used and new guitars and amps! I came in with a guitar that had stripped-out strap mount holes, and an employee here was extremely helpful. Recognizing that I was injured with one arm in a sling, he quickly and generously took it upon himself to install secure mounts onto my guitar. He did in about 2 minutes what couldve taken me half an hour with my one working dexterous limb.Awesome service and selection here guys, keep it up🙌

I just bought a bass from these guys. I gotta say WOW! I worked with 3-4 different guys at the store, as I was purchasing from out of state and wanted to arrange to pick up in store. Great bunch of guys, real pros, and easy to work with. The in-store stock was truly impressive for any music store, let alone a MGR. I deal with my local franchise and have had great luck and experience with them but this store in Toledo was a mind-blower. Ill definitely be back! Always a fun time to go and feel the music in a corner somebody playing a song on a keyboard or guitar and get a jam session going with other music fans there at the time.

Been shopping at this store for years and have always had good service. The reason for my 1 star review is the change in the return policy. I’ve bought many guitars from this shop Gibson Les Paul’s, usa Fender Stratocaster’s and Telecaster’s not cheap guitars. I bought a Ibanez that I didn’t like and went to exchange it but was told of the 20% restocking fee that was listed on the receipt. This is new as I’ve exchanged guitars it the past. Today I was exchanging this $700 Ibanez for a $1200 Gibson Les Paul but because of the 20% restocking fee ($140) I will never be returning to this shop ever again. Guitar Centers return policy is 45 days with no restocking fee. Guess where I’ll be shopping now.

Husband loves this place. Hes a lefty and just picked up a Gibson SG here. These guys keep everything set up nice and and well tuned. They greet you when you come in and are always willing to help. Well always come back.

This was going to be a one star review. I had problems getting things shipped from the Toledo store and I was frustrated.However, manager Greg realized the importance of my situation lost money on the deal and sent an item across the country at a huge loss to him to make sure I had the much-needed item before a gig.I know it wasn’t easy and I know it wasn’t affordable for him but he still did the right thing when faced with “how to handle the issue.”I was raised that you learn a lot about a company when things go wrong, by how they handle it. They will either blame someone else, shame the shipper, make excuses, or the rarest of all... own it and do the right thing.Music Go Round Toledo is that rare. They did the right thing. Good experience. Friendly staff, prices arent bad. There are a lot of good finds here. Plenty of equipment, instruments, all types of music related items. One thing be prepared to wait a few days to buy somethings. They have some clearing procedure its weird. Otherwise its a cool shop

The fun part about visiting Music Go Round, is that every time we come in, there is something different, something unique for sale. Unlike most mega-music stores that only sell the lowest quality, common brand names, Music Go Round sells new and used gear, which makes their selection better.Their acoustic room (where I like to shop) has a lot of brands that most guitar or music stores dont carry. They always greet you with kindness when you enter, and then allow you to shop without being constantly bothered by sales representatives like other places.I have found very unique, vintage and hard to find instruments from around the world at this store, which is what keeps me coming back. Always something new and something exciting here.

I bought a cheap acoustic guitar, and one staff memeber made the adjustments I wanted, while I waited, for free. That resource alone is invaluable if youre reluctant to do a setup yourself.

When I was a kid, I used to shop a music store called Peeler Music. Well, I basically grew up there. When they closed, I never really found another place that felt like home...Until Music Go Round opened up a couple years ago. The people are great, and will help with anything they can, and if they cant, they will know someone in the area who can help you. Great selection, great deals, and they wont stiff you on a trade in or purchase of your own gear.I wish I had more hands so I could give MGR four thumbs up.

Picked up an Oscar Schmidt acoustic here last week. Staff were very helpful in finding out CITES regulations for me since I live in Canada and wasnt sure about bringing in a product with a rosewood fretboard.Will definitely be back to check out more gear

I love guitars, I hate guitar stores. I am impressed by this place as a local franchise. The owner is on hand and was very attentive to an issue that I had. The part that was so impressive is that I am a difficult customer and my problem was exactly that, my problem. Still, the owner listened and clearly explained the store policies calmly and in a non condescending manner. Furthermore, after being difficult I was told that my business was appreciated and it was genuine. I can safely say that this location is the exception to my hatred of guitar stores.

Decent gear at fairly reasonable prices. Customer service is top notch! You definitely get a good feeling walking into this place. Here you can find a nice guitar, amp, and many other types of instruments (I even saw a harp) to fit nearly any budget. Stop in, take a look. Youll be glad you did!

3 stars because the staff were so friendly. Having said that, this locations inventory leaves quite a bit to be desired. There was only one American Strat in the entire store and I didnt even see a Gibson. Also, way, way, wayyyyy outrageously priced. Especially for a used music store. 579.00 for a mexican strat is like... well at that point you might as well buy it from guitar center which actually comes with a warranty... i dont know... definitely not impressed either by selection or pricing. Great staff though.

I was going through my Mothers estate and found an Ukulele in a closet. I called ahead of time and talked to a person named Mike and told him about the ukulele and asked him if they could take a look at it, tell me something about it, and place a value on it (as well as asking him if they buy ukuleles.).He said, Absoluely, well do some research, give you an evaluation, tell you what we would sell it for and tell you what we would pay for it. Before I went there I researched the ukulele. Bottom line, all said and done, Excellent Service !!! He was right on, honest, professional, and bought it right then and there. They even strung it up right then and there and allowed me to listen to it being played. Great place.... everyone there was very helpful, nice, honest, professional, and respectful !!!
