Eric is amazing! My first visit but certainly not my last.

I walked in, and my nail tech was very nice. I showed him a picture of what I wanted, and I wish he would have just told me he couldn’t do it. I asked for white on my pinky, ring, and thumb, but it looks like a light pink, my nails were lumpy, and the nail art wasn’t good. I was charged $55 for a pretty bad job. I should have addressed it, but I honestly just felt bad for the guy and didn’t want to make him feel bad.If they can’t do the work, just say that up front.

Not a good experience here. And Ive given them 3 chances... Joe is Great but the new lady who does pedi needs some training.

Ive had to go back twice to have my nails fixed within 2 weeks because of acrylic having perfect cracks in them and the nail tech not fixing them after me even saying something I just got a recent fill in less then 3 days ago and 2 nails are already cracked very upset with the product and hopefully they will fix the issue because no way should I have 2 cracked nails 3 days after a fill in and I DONT do any stressful things with my nails just poorly done. 40$ fill in and 3 days later two cracked nails***update joe was great an fixed both cracked nails for free. Im completely happy an satisfied

I absolutely love this place. I have been here twice and had Joe as my nail artist twice now and he always adds a little of himself to the nails. The prices are reasonable and the place is super clean and full of friendly faces. I would recommend this place 110%

Although I use to come her often today was my last time. I do not know if they have other public rest rooms but the ones near what was a hair salon area were terrible today. With the COVID virus it did not give me a good feeling that the rest of the salon had been sanitized or cleaned properly. There was no soap just an empty container at the sink, the garbage was full and spilled out all over the floor, it did not look like the bathroom was cleaned at all. I was the only customer in the salon so they were not busy. The remote for the pedicure chair did not look like it had been cleaned or the entry door. I sanitized my hands and everything in my car that I touched after leaving the salon.

I was greeted by a warm staff member.Had a pedicure. with Ann. Impressed by her pedicure. Not like other Vietnamese salons.Clean and nice decor too.

I started going here when I was really young with my mom. I have tried other places and I keep coming back to this nail/hair salon. I’ve gotten my nails and hair done here for many dances and proms. I love the people and the new and old atmosphere that is offered here. Highly recommend!

Lisa was wonderful but a young guy employee, lounging on the pedi chair near me, was watching some video on his phone as I asked him turn it down ( as well as lisa did) and he rolled his eyes and left it at the volume it was at. I asked again if he would turn it down and he snipped and said he did and continued to watch. I came today, on my birthday, to have a little relaxation and also paying for a service and thought it was extremely rude of the employee that he would not listen to Lisa nor myself. I just wanted some relaxation instead of listening to some video, in a language I cannot understand. And the complete rudeness this young man presented. I have been coming here for 14 years and always enjoyed myself but will no longer come and will not recommend to friends or family.Please do not let this comment take away from how sweet Lisa was and the great job she did. It is purely at the employee who was being rude and inconsiderate to costumers. Lisa even offered me headphones.In addition to the review I just gave, the young gentleman keeps walking by recording as well. This is uncalled for and very unprofessional. I would be embarrassed to have this young man as an employee of my establishment.

They charged me 65.00 for my 4 year old to get pedi and mani. Took 2 hours to do it only did white polish and pokidots gel polish. Robbery and its chipping already on her thumb we just got them done today. Im hurt because I have been going there for 2 years faithfully.

Their nails never last, last time I went mines broke a day after & before that the longest they lasted was a week. They messed up my moms nail and told her to figure it out herself. They never do a good job. I would not go here to get my nails done.

My sister and I went for pedicures today and we got gel polish. I can’t tell you who did our pedicures cause they don’t tell you their names or wear name tags, probably because they are careless. The one who did my sisters pedicure USED REGULAR POLISH WITH A GEL DRYER! It completely smudged and peeled off!! $50 completely wasted! Have been going there for a long time but today was the last! Will not be back

I go basically for pedicures. They really clean your feet like they should be cleaned. The nail color selection is slim. But I love a good pedicure.

I have been getting my nails done here for 10+ years. The quality is usually top notch, but I can never get an appointment! They constantly tell me they are short technicians, so they cant guarantee an appointment, walk ins only...normally with an extensive wait time. I have been a loyal customer, but I am taking my business else where.

My first paid-for manicure! I was apprehensive because of a few bad reviews. However, the staff was were all professional and courteous. The staff doing the manicures seem to be from Vietnam Nam and speak little English, but they do a great job. Peter did my nails. Other customers there seemed happy.It was not busy, which is a shame. I hope this. Shop does well so that I can can return.

The most uncomfortable experience for me. I dont know about other people but speaking for myself, I hate going somewhere and people are not friendly or inviting. I engaged conversation and still STALE AND DRY. The man even said what do you want me to do Im just doing your nails with a rude tone. Then just grabbed my hand to start the process with out my knowledgement.. I pulled my hand back got up and walked out.

I took my girlfriend here to get her acrylics removed and the man who worked on her cut two of her nails too far back. Her fingers were bleeding and caused her a lot of pain. This may have been an accident but they are supposed to be professionals. If you value the well being of your fingers, DO NOT go to this place.

I go to magic salon for ME time!!! I love this salon!!! I perchased a tanning package and go tan daily, the beds are amazing & very clean, I also have my nails & toe nails done every other week. I feel like this salon is my home away from home, everyone is so nice and makes you feel very welcome. Its hard to find a nice clean place that offers, Manis, pedis and tanning for a reasonable price.

It Was Okay, But Only Cause It Was My First Time There. However, As I Was Gettin My Nails Done I Realized She Had Applied The Nail Crooked And When Prompted To Fix It She Said Will Be Fixed After File So I Continued To Let Her Do Her Job. Bad Idea, After Filing And Applying The Acrylic To The Nail, And Even Painting It, She Never Fixed The Crooked Nail. Wont Be Going Back But Im Sure She Couldve Done Better.

This is one of the most modern and cleanest nail salons in Knoxville. They offer DISPOSABLE pedicure liners that is use on every customer. (Definitely a huge plus for me. Trust me, once you experience this, you will no longer want to soak your feet directly inside the tub without the liner). Even though spa chairs are disinfected after each usage, you cant guarantee that it is completely clean, it can harbor a lot of bacteria (which can lead to foot fungus, blood borne pathogens, cross contamination and/or skin irritation). The part that caught my attention was the magnetic jets they use; it is removed, disinfected and sterilized in an autoclave machine. It is a lot more sanitary and hygienic compared to a lot of salons in Knoxville. They take sterilization to the next level with these autoclave self-sealing sterilization pouches. All of their implements are store in the pouch to assure that it stay sterile.Im glad to see that Magic Salon cares about the safety and health of their customers. This really highlights the professionalism of their salon. Not to mention, the staffs are extremely friendly and knowledgeable, the prices are very reasonable too.This place is definitely a hidden gem in the shopping center; (dont let the exterior fool you) its not one of those typical salons; its contemporary, very spacious, has a nice atmosphere and its super clean!They stay busy, so its best to schedule an appointment!

My mother has her nails done here all the time and seems to like it. We went with her on two separate occasions to have our toes done as well. The first time, I had made appt. for 3 people. When we got there they only had 2 down. They took care of us though. The pedicures were great. The second visit, I had made appt. for 4 people. We get there and I explain one of us couldnt come. Good thing because they only had 3 of us down. When we get back to The pedicures area, we explain that we want the hot oil for my mother and myself and the basic for my daughter. The guy doing mine and the girl doing my daughters totally understood. The woman doing my mothers, not so much. She started a good 10 minutes after mine did and finished a good 10 minutes before mine. Now my feet were rough but not that rough.

100% unsanitary. The stations where I got my nails done was dusty, covered in old rags coated in acrylic and polish. All tools already had nail dust on them and the staff is rude and didn’t talk to me a bit. I don’t even thing the woman doing my nails has the license to do so. I was also cut several times and my nails were treated harshly. (Ps. This is coming from someone who is in school for cosmetology so I know all laws and regulations regarding this stuff.) do not go there you could get a serious infection or worse.

Cleanest Salon here in Knoxville; love the pedi liners. Great color selections to chose from and the staffs are very nice. Didnt expect to find this salon in a hidden area. Definitely worth giving it a try!

However, it is deducted from our account 2x. So, heads up. We are going to go through our bank to stop the payment, since Magic Nails will not credit the 2nd charge. May I suggest you pay cash...

My nail technician was rude from the beginning. I asked if they carried a specific color before she started my nails, and she rolled her eyes because she had to get up and go look. I paid for a gel manicure, and she didn’t even cut my cuticles. She didn’t wipe my nails/hands off before starting, and there was still dust and shavings all over the place which left bumps under the gel polish. She was messy, in a rush, and my gel was completely uneven and stuck to the sides of my fingers. She charged me $35 for a horrible “manicure”. I handed her $40 and she took it without asking if I wanted anything back! Just expected a $5 tip for horrible work. I will never be back!

The receptionist is EXTREMELY rude. I made an appointment at 4 and was five minutes late and she gave my appointment away. She never apologized for my incovience or anything. AWFUL customer service. I would highly recommend going to another nail salon that appreciates your business.

Worst nail experience ever.....I just went in for a fill in on my lunch break.....Tony rushed through my nails....didnt even tell me to wash them or spray them before painting them.....my nail polish is transparent.....and they were the gel polish rushed through the drying process nails are uneven and and full of streaks.....do not recommend Tony at all....cant speak for any of the other nail techs. Will never go back!

I will not go back. The price is ridiculous. They charged me $50 just to get an gel overlay. They say that they charged me for shape and length. I told them I’ve already had the shape and length and that filing should be part of their job. They are a rip off. And then they had a guy who only been there 2 months doing my nails n he had no idea on what he was doing. I had to coach him on how to do my nails. This place is horrible👎🏾🤬

I was taken there for my birthday got a pedicure it was the best ever .

I generally never write reviews nor complain but I wouldn’t want anyone to waste their money here. I scheduled an appointment on October 6th for a pedicure and SNS dip. She painted clear gel polish over the nail instead of using the clear coat specifically for SNS. I explained to her that every time someone uses the gel over my SNS dip, the gel peels off. She said “It won’t... I know what I’m doing.” Literally 2 days later the gel top coat started peeling. Then a week later my SNS dip started to crack. I went in on Monday the 15th for them to repair my nail. The lady at the counter said “uh we are gonna have to charge you because you broke your nail.” So I was like whatever. I just needed my nail fixed. So a man went to fix my nail... he got all the dip off but when I asked him to file the nail evenly he said “your nail is still going to be crooked because you broke it.” The lady that was sitting next to me asked for a color and he said “we don’t have that... sorry... find something else.” Then when she went to find something else, as he was doing my nail.. he rolled his eyes at her. So now... two days later... another one of my nails cracked. I’ve never had any nails crack with dip. I’m not sure if their dip was just bad or what. But I won’t be going back. They are very rude and unprofessional.

I will never go back!! This makes the second time they have done me wrong! First time I let it go, thought everyone makes mistakes. After this time an the guy blaming me saying I waited to long to get my nails done no you could have told me before you started on my nails, but I come back an show you that you can see the previous nail underneath an that is the excuse you use. Forget you. I wont waste my time or money I suggest no one else does

Jacked my nails up! Plus it was the Worst tanning experience in my life. The employees were rude and carrying on a personal conversation on the phone from the time I set foot in the door till I left. The floor was filthy and the tanning bed had tanning lotion on it from the last person who had been in it. I wont go back!
