(We had a 2 bedroom with full kitchen)Positives.Clean and good location for Disney or Universal.NegativesInternet is horrible we couldnt even connect on our Verizon network, second in our main bathroom the toilet was too close to the tissue my knee bumps it every time I set down (Im only 5 feet 11 inches), and lastly my wife likes the air on the cold side and that is pretty much a non starter here because the thermostat was set and could not be altered to personal settings.

Room was decent enough until I got up close to really examine it. Seems like kind of updated furniture perhaps, but the whole time I was there it did not feel clean to me. Also I would just touch things and they would just fall apart like I was being set up in a scam or something. Location was decent enough and it was cheap, and the Wi-Fi was really good. There were moldy shower curtains and other spots I noticed, and the blinds on the windows were all broken. When I pulled up the bed sheets to wash them there were big circular yellow stains underneath. It seems like they just tried to paint over or hide any deficiencies.

Very Unhappy customer.  I just checked into Unit 43-102.  Attached are pictures of the roaches infesting the Unit.  This isnt something I was looking forward to with my family.   My kids all have Allergies so its definitely not good for them

The pool filter broke the 2nd day into our vacation and there is never anyone in the office period. They are still blaming the office being closed on covid when ever other resort office is open.

We stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute of it! The condos are very clean and the staff is extremely helpful and nice. There are plenty of activities for the family to enjoy. We will definitely come back!

Amy is a wonderful Receptionist. She is always smiling and happy to assist in anything she is able. The grounds are kept well with music piped in at the pool area which we greatly enjoyed.

Welcome to your 1980s slumlord college apartment!! This place should be condemned!! The units are falling apart. Bedroom doors coming off the hinges, dirty carpet, exposed nails and screws, huge gap in the front door, the TV only gets the first 13 channels, the cabinets are dilapidated!! Youd be better off sleeping in your car.

Place itself is pretty decent its an older resort but its clean and very nice we got a townhouse but the reason I gave it five stars the girl in the office was amazing her name is Amy and while youre here she will treat you like a king shes a beautiful person thats the only reason I gave it five stars otherwise I would have given about three and a half .remember her name is Amy shes a very valuable employee

I had a very mixed experience with Vacation Villas. Silver Lakes Resort wasnt everything I was promised! It deserves a 5. But the rest - Fort Lauderdaleour room had a nice bathroom, but the tables etc were rusting and the power point hanging out of the wall! The pool needed fixing for the whole time we were there and the whole place needed a good clean. I was not booked into the 5 star accommodation I was promised. No guest facilities were available and I would never return! The worst bit is they keep ringing me to return at least twice a week. I live in New Zealand and our borders are closed! Im not going to go to USA with a high risk factor when I live in a safe country! And if I could go to the USA, I would not stay with Vacation Villas!

Villas best before date was 20 years ago

Absolutely the worst place Ive ever stayed, do not stay here they do not answer their phone,I had to go buy cleaning supplies which I left for the next person, absolutely nothing to clean with nothing to wash the dishes with just two dish towels and thats it we had roaches in our room and I have pictures it was awful very very dated old furniture dirty filthy hair in the beds, no parking, do not stay here they do not answer any calls you cannot get any service the pool was filthy and full of dead bugs really bad dont stay here

Haven’t stayed yet. Might, if I could reach the front desk by phone but all one gets is a recorded message asking you to leave a message to which they will respond in 24 to 48 hours. Is this any way to run a resort? I have an important and timely situation and need to straighten it out. Probably would not stay there.

We had a great time!! The staff at the front desk was very accommodating during our entire visit. The pool area was very nice and clean. Close to all the attractions and convenient to restaurants. I would recommend this facility. The townhouses are great!!

We reserved a stay here for a week but my family and I stayed here for one night and the next morning we were ready to leave. Our unit was dirty and it felt so shabby. There was water leaking from the washing machine. We didnt have hot water in one of the rooms. The floor was was covered in dirt and hair. The units look worn down and old. They are not well kept. I almost forgot to say that the trash was overflowing from the dumpster on the side that we stayed on. It was not well lit at night either. So that did not make a good first impression.

I have read a bunch of these reviews and they are way off! Idk if y’all were placed in different accommodations as we were but we loved it!! We had one issue with our AC freezing up but it was fixed in a timely manner! Everything was clean updated and nice when we arrived! Yes we got here late so we had to do the late check in but it was super easy! Had a map and everything to our spot so it wasn’t hard to find! The surrounding area was well lit and clean! We will definitely be looking into staying again! We had a three bedroom two full bath and a living room that had a sofa that pulls out into another bed. We were right next to the pool as well as the basketball and tennis court. The front desk lady was extremely sweet!!

This was our first time staying at the resort. We had a two bedroom, 2.5 bath unit with a full kitchen and screened lanai. The kitchen was well stocked with pans, dishes and utensils, including a coffee maker, toaster and blender. While we enjoyed the amount of space the unit provided, the resort itself was lacking. The decor was a bit dated, some cracked tiles, older cabinets, outlets not working. There is little in the way of amenities at the resort; a small game room, pool and hot tub.The biggest negative for our family was that check in closes at 4:00 on Saturday, and the office is NOT open on Sundays. So, if you arrive later than 4:00 Saturday, there is no one available in the office to speak with until they open on Monday morning. My plan was to purchase park tickets at the resort to start our park days first thing Monday- which of course wasnt possible. This is a great place to stay if your sole purpose is to have comfortable lodgings while in the area for the theme parks- and you have purchased the tickets ahead.

The apartment was clean and neat, and the bathtub in the master bedroom was a welcome surprise. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. The twin beds are best for children rather than adults. The staff in the office were friendly and welcoming. I’d stay here again.

In a good location, the rooms were nice but i wish the twin beds could be 1 larger bed. Appliances worked well, but the washer and dryer were conveniently upstairs. Making it a little to do laundry at night. You get towels but must reuse or clean yourself. The pool area was very nice good place to hangout. But they had an outside pool company that would come in place chemicals in the pool midday. Which forced us to get out and wait for it to be ready to reenter. The upstairs bathrooms were nice but our door did not lock. Our condo had an enclosed back porch which was nice for leaving wet towels and floaties from the pool that were wet outside. so that they didnt bring the water inside the condo and make a mess. These condos were nice, i enjoyed staying there and would do so again in the future. They did have little things to look into but overall a very nice place. If i could change one thing about it i would look into giving the condos some simple things like water, salt, pepper, ketchup, mustard, butter, sugar. Some simple things so you do not need to go shopping for all these sort of things before you even unpack your suitcase. We made a long road trip getting there so if some of those things would have been there ready it would have been big positive. Even having a service that we could pay for to have groceries brought in before we arrive.

Older unit but fairly well updated. In a 2 bedroom sleeps 8 unit on the third floor in late August. Arrived at 6:10. Late check-in was simple but keys and room location was the only info provided. No wifi password and no keys to adjoining rooms which made for an interesting night. (front desk is closed from 6pm Saturday until 8am Monday with no phone number for maintenance or emergency contact).

There are no restrooms at the pool. The phone in our room didnt work. The cleaner used to clean the room was extremely strong. We had to open doors and windows to air out the room. The tennis court is not a tennis court. It isnt a true half court either, and not maintained. Were used to at least one large TV. All TV s are really tiny. The grounds are maintained. The staff are friendly and respond to requests quickly.

Very pleasant clean enjoyable living alway from home. The rooms are clean and everything around is close. Probably wont be going back to this condo again Again the lady checking us out was very congenial and nice. Easy access to most of Orlando attractions. For us a great time for a good value.

Very large and spacious units. Appliances are dated but in good working order. Units are dated but very clean. Limited cooking pans and utinsiels. I packed my own thankfully. Very quiet and well lit areas. Pack extra towels theirs are rough but will dry you off. Unit had washer and dryer and dishwasher. Staff was friendly and very helpful. No hair dryer in unit make sure you pack one.

If i could give ZERO Stars I would. We arrived and the internet was not working we resetting the router but that did not take care of the problem. I tried calling the main office and kept getting a recording. I left over a dozen messages the last 5 days. I have called every number that they provided us with and still no returned phone call. No response from them... NOTHING. On top of it the rooms were not equipped as expected. We had an 8 sleeper and were provided 1 roll of paper towels and 2 trash bags for the week. They did not have simple items like coffee or salt and pepper.

I was in one of the old units at the back of the property. WiFi didnt reach into that unit. Seemed like a lot of wear and a lot little things needed repair. Example: the bathroom door didnt close all the way and wouldnt lock. Exterior paint on the old units is really ugly. The deluxe units looked much more modern from the outside. If you go try a deluxe unit. The pool was nice. They have this AWESOME huge gas grill! Every resort should have one of these! The game room is a real game room for the family, not an arcade. Fitness center is nice.

Reasonable price for March Break. Had this been cleaned properly each and every time a guest departs the villa, it would not have looked this way. The unit and the common area was always clean. We were on the ground floor unit and we could hear the footsteps and sliding of kitchen chairs above us.

Resort location convenient to Disney World. Unit location overlooks the pool with a nice screened porch. This 2bdrm is a little dated. On arrival Saturday the pullout sofa bed frame is bent and dangerous to use extended. The office is closed Sunday. When the office Monday a new sofa bed was brought in. We completed our stay satified.

Wasnt quite sure what to expect when we got here photos on web did not give the place Justice. The people in the office were extremely nice and very helpful when we arrived. We got a two bedroom condo two-and-a-half-bath, full kitchen, it was better than we ever expected everything we needed in the kitchen, pots,dishes, Etc all the bathrooms had nice extra towels. The place was very clean and kept up. We had a back patio that was screened in facing the pool that has a hot tub a grill area. Across from our front door by the office there was a game room and fitness room. Thank you for the Vacation Villas we have really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back.

We love going to Downtown Disney. We hired a camcorder from youcapture, they edit your footage into a film and when we look back at the edited footage of the villa it looks great. How nice This is a very wonderful place to be at on vacation and we will continue to visit each year.

I stayed here for my first trip to Disney World. The rooms are great and spacious. My room came with a full kitchen, a small washer/dryer, and a full bath with a jacuzzi. Lovely staff here, very kind and patient (weve called them a lot of times for towels, lol!) Only ONE thing I did not like was that the connection to the room next to us was through the other persons bathroom, which was a bit awkward cause we could hear anything they did in there. 😋

We are owners and we really enjoy coming back year after year. Had to go out and buy my own after a long day at DisneyPools and landscaping are very pretty and clean. Its around 20-30 mins to the majority of the parks and around 10 mins to the lovely buffet restaurants.

Priced too much for an older broken up apartment. I rented the one bedroom & could smell the bleach when cleaning grew cleaned next door. Has two pass thru doors with huge gaps at the bottom of doors, lets noise travel easily. Heard crying baby, people showering, people talking. Thank goodness they didnt get into arguments or fights.

Its quiet and layed back. The people are so nice here. You feel like your at home. Ill always come back here to stay in Florida. I recommend the condos! ! ! :-)

Came all the way from the UK and this place is excellent! Great and helpful staff, nothing is to much! Accommodation is of a great standard and the location is probably the best for easy access to all the attractions,. Looking forward to our next visit already

Florida Vacation Villas is awesome. We are pretty tolerant people and ***aged to enjoy ourselves anyway, and we appreciated the staff. The front desk staff was very friendly. The people at the front desk were courteous and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, comfortable place to stay.

I found the grounds and building facades to be adequate. They looked like your typical Florida style architecture. The interiors were about average: some dings in the flooring and wall fixtures, but everything was clean. The bathrooms were also adequate. I did not get a chance to check out the amenities except in passing, but the pool, out door gaming area, gym, and game room seemed nice and clean. The only area I felt were below expectations were the beds. All the beds in our suite were lumpy and unsupportive, I slept very poorly. This glaring issue was somewhat balanced out by the price which for the space was quite reasonable. I would stay here again, but it wouldnt be my first choice.

Heard whenever the neighbors were showering because of loud fans and poor insulation same with dishwasher. Great staff, very clean, recently renovated. We have stayed at several in the Orlando Kissimmee area that was much nicer and didnt charge a cleaning fee and have you do half the work.

We are owners of this time share and we loved Florida Vacation Villas. Very friendly people. The staff at FVV are so wonderful and make you feel like you are their only guests. We have always enjoyed our vacation here and hope to continue to visit Jeff & Diana Kennaway.

The villas are all situated near Disney the road system is straight forward and would recommend a sat nav with your hire car. Hairs on the floor in the bathroom and in the Kleenex box. A short drive to all the parks and attractions and dining. AC and ceiling fans kept us cool.

One star is not even worthy of this place. The only positive is the front desk was very nice. The supposed one bedroom one bath was a rundown old hotel. Where was the villa we rented for a week! We left and are in a hotel now. Stay clear of this dirty dirty place.

I was offered a good deal for accommodation on the net, with 18 months to take it. I paid deposit twice, to extend time limit to take trip. I have approx. 7mths. left to confirm booking. For the past 2 months I have been relentlessly been phoned almost every day, sometimes twice a day, 7 days a week to make me confirm a travel date with Vacation Villas.I have been polite. I have been rude. Nothing makes them stop ringing me. I have paid approx. $800. to be harassed non-stop, and am very sorry I contacted these pushy people.

Very handy to get to the Disney parks and access to shops in Kissimmee. A block from 192 and close to highways. Some of the furniture and flooring seemed brand new so it seemed that an ongoing upgrade was in place. The staff was friendly and helpful. Id stay at FVV again in a heartbeat.

Just disgusting. Old, run down, dirty, cockroaches, hair and soap still left in the bottom of the shower, blankets and comforters were nasty, kitchen smelled like rotten eggs. We are pretty sure we had an allergic reaction to dust mites from staying in this condo. My whole family had a rash and raised bumps on our skin after staying here for a week.Very good location. Close to Disney and restaurants and stores.

Did not realize you had to check in by 5:00 and arrived at 6:00 pm to the office being completely closed and no manager to be reached. They didn’t leave me a key or anything. They won’t even refund me my 3 night stay for something I didn’t get to enjoy. Asked to come another time and they offered me nothing. Very disappointed they take from people and don’t give back. Will not recommend this place that doesn’t give good customer service!!! Beware

My husband and I stayed in the 2 bedroom villa with our 3 year old and newborn. We adopted our son and we had a very hard time finding a nice place where we could all stay comfortably. Everyone was amazing! Brought me to tears how kind and caring everyone was. Our place was perfect. Beds were comfortable, clean, and it was so nice having a kitchen to help save money instead of going out to eat. It is also close to Dinsey and many fun attractions. The pool is heated, so we went swimming a lot. It was nice they had a playground for our son too. This will be our familys new vacation spot everytime we visit.

So finally got here fit a relaxing weekend with the family.....midnight and first thing none of the keys worked to get in so now every time we need to leave and come back we have to get the office to let us in. After we get in I notice the carpet is disgusting!!! Feels wet and oily, dirty. So next check the beds....bad idea they have not been cleaned hair and other stuff on the bed. So i just spent my time remaking all the beds. Of course cant get a hold of Florida vacation rentals only the girl in the office that is frustrated with life. Poor poor poor place..never again.

It was a great villa. The people working there were wonderful and I had an amazing time there anyone who can go I would recommend it.

Recently spent a week with the whole family at this location. We keep reading about updated kitchens and bathrooms but havent seen any improvements in our unit as yet (poorly hung bathroom doors, broken DVD, dated furniture, dishes, etc.). In spite of worn furnishings (the silk palm on the lanai was actually disintegrating), we enjoyed our stay, having come to expect the unit wont offer luxury. Our biggest complaint this year was having to compete with the cleaning staff for parking spaces in front of our end unit. Although there isnt assigned parking, timeshare owners expect that the spaces just outside their door will be available to them. Not so this year. Instead, we found ourselves having to park in front of other units, as well as near the tennis court. Our spots were constantly taken by staff vehicles. Seriously? Couldnt THEY have parked near the tennis courts and left the unit spaces for those occupying those units?

Just got here in the evening with no one manning the office until Monday....master bedroom smells really bad and the tub is very dirty. Can’t bath the baby in it. There is mildew in the other bathroom. I feel like I staying in almost slum like conditions.

Its time they update there rooms. The furniture is old and smells like mildew. The game room is horrible. Theyre needs to be major updates to keep up with the times.

Great location, quick trip to Merritt Island and Playalinda Beach

The dish washers come with no warning that they bubble up if you put any soap in them. We called them saying that our water was only cold and we had no warm water at all and it took them 4 days to fix it.

This place is super clean and modern. There is art on the walls and all of the TVs are smart flat screens mounted to the walls and look great. It feels really spacious and well designed. Pool is right be on the back porch, theres indoor bamboo which adds a great effect, great natural light from the windows, and a balcony view from the top of the stairs down to the bottom floor. Really great interior design. Also theres free Wi-Fi, a tennis court, basketball court, and fitness center. The game room has shuffleboard, a billiard table, foosball, and air hockey. Love being here. Its about 20 minutes away from Disney World.

The rooms are spacious. The pools are nice . Nice having 2 basketball hoops to play on.

To whom it may concern,I live in Perth western Australia.Recently i have had phone calls from your company saying i recently emailed you.I have not done this and when i explain this to the operator they are consistently rude demanding WHY i am not interested.Firstly i live in Australia so Florida is really not that close or affordable for our family to holiday there on a whim.I appologise if this is not the right place for me to contact, but i am becoming very sick of their rudeness and demanding nature of the phone calls which i do NOT want not did i ask for.Thank you.

In fact, the run down villa forced us to do more outside activities. Its a no brainer but our ac refused to work and they have a sign that says you cant put the ac lower than 72 degrees. Our condo (or whatever they want to call it) was dirty & out dated.

This location is a nice quaint place located off of Poinciana Blvd. Situated nicely near restaurants, pharmacies, and close to Disney. Perfect spot to settle for vacation.

Decided to take a last minute trip to Orlando with the kids before school started and no RCI Gold or Silver Crown resorts were available so we booked FVV for the week. There was so much to do at the house we didnt even get to do it all. Location near restaurant and attractions, shopping areas.

Room is dated. No hot water first day. Room was dirty and we had to clean it ourselves

This was a terrible experience. The room smelled of mildew, the shower curtain had mold and there were toothpaste stains and hair in the bathroom drawers. Furthermore, the mattress on the sofa bed was literally about one inch think and you could feel all the springs just be running your hand over it. This was advertised as accommodating four people and it was impossible for all of us to sleep there, so my parents ended up staying at a relative’s couch. Believe it or not, that was better. The bathtub had stains in it that wouldn’t come off with regular cleaning anymore and most of the supplies they provided (cups, coffee maker, can opener) were in sub-standard conditions, with cracks and stains. To cap it all, I got half a sponge when I went down and requested one so I could do my dishes before check out. The cut all costs and I hope people don’t pay more than $75/night to stay here. Even that seems a bit much.

As far as a resort goes, its okay. Not that dirty

4/15/17 This is a very dirty place.. The room are very dirty you cant walk on the floor with bear feet.Every thing inside the rooms is old.. The shower in the master bathroom leaks water all over the floor..We had to clean the shower before we used it.. There is dust under the beds..We came at around 7pm you had to call a # to check in there was no one to greeted you.. They gave you a # to a lock box to get your room key.. Dont book a room..You can find a better place for the same money.. I give this place a 0 rating.. We wont be back.. Ugh I had to put one star to post.. The sofa is stained and its just really bad.. Very disappointed.. DIRTY,DIRTY,DIRTY.. Just be warned stay elsewhere not here.. Just Saying..

The rooms are ere in desperate need of update. The king bed is old & saggy - extremely uncomfortable. The couches sag & are also uncomfortable.

Good location near disney and restaurants. Nice rooms but the beds need to be replaced.

This place has very spacious apartments, but, all appliances and kitchen cabinets are old and stained (need replacements). Carpet needs desperately to be replaced, you will see gum and dark or bleached spots, all over the place. If you decide to rent in this property I recommend you to bring your own sheets and towels, towels may have spots, hair dye or just yellow random areas. Save toilet paper, they only give you one roll per bathroom, curtain shower have old water marks, toilet seat cover had big yellow stain. Other remarks, you may encounter spider webs, high dust accumulation in certain areas. TVs are old CRTs in many apartments, the variety of channels it is adequate, but the WIFI does not worked in at least one of the three apartments we rented. Even though the AC in one of the apartments looked brand new, we had to close vents around the house to allow other areas to cool down. All furniture shows extreme wear and tear. Dinnerware was was not properly cleaned.On the good side the area it is quiet and looks secure, they do have security on site. Staff it is somehow friendly. Plenty of parking space, and it is close to a Walmart in the neighborhood, in case you forget something or need towels and sheets like we did . The two stars it is just because the area and the size of the apartments.

I called the office, a lady picked up the phone. Was very rude, not professional and hung up on me without saying bye. I hope that this is not how business is conducted, or you better train your employees to provide better customer service.

High hopes equal a great letdown.Found this company via Groupon(which is amazing) and couldnt say no to such an awesome deal. We ended up arriving after hours so the room key was in a lockbox outside the office, no big deal I thought, our villa must be one of these right behind the office. I thought wrong. Inside the envelope was a map, not drawn to scale in the slightest. I had to follow the yellow highlighter to our villa that was about 2 miles away, only God got us there because there was no address to input into my GPS.Once entering the villa we were greeted with the smell of cigarettes and dirty carpet. Examining the kitchen, there were clean glasses with visible residue on them. There were signs telling us how to replace blinds that had a tendency to fall out because they are broken. Moving into the bedrooms the masters comforter was just plain dirty and the bathrooms were the same. The tub and shower had mold and the grout that was once white is now black.When it was time to check out we followed the list of demands and helped the cleaning staff by stripping all the beds and leaving the sheets by the door. Upon taking off one of the sheets we were greeted with dried blood on the mattress pad. What a great way to end a Christmas holiday? No it gets better.5 hours after checking out, the security deposit is taken from my account. I get an email saying the during our stay a box spring was broken....false. During our walk through I didnt think to check the box spring so I guess thats my fault. When I reply to the email to dispute this claim I get an automatic message saying I need to send a request to remove my email from the spam list.
