This place was highly recommended by one of neighbors and as it turned out near my place of business. The place is run by the owner and doing the inside paperwork are his parents. I also want the owner to see this very honest review of what transpired. I have an old 2006 Toyota Sienna that I use for running around for the business. It has high mileage 162K as of yesterday. What happened was I had my car aligned at Firestone and they came back with suggested repairs which included about $1500 in exhaust repairs and state inspection. Oh, I forgot there was also an issue with the CV axle. The axel was the first repair which I guess is fine. When I went I said the driver side axle was bad and he replaced it. When I went to pick the car up he told me the other axle was even worse. No communication while has was working on the car to tell me that needed to be fixed. Okay, Ill take responsibility for that although why not call the customer (me) and tell me immediately? In addition, I was complaining of a vibration in the steering wheel. He checked and said You need motor mounts and I said okay and made an appointment. There are three front mounts and he replaced two of the side mounts. He told me it shakes less than before because it needs a center mount as well. I never told him not to do so, it was his decision. Now the second instance of not doing what needed to be done. My fault, no friggin way! Oh, I failed to mention that I also asked him about the exhaust issue and to give me an estimate. I asked him three times for the estimate gave my business card to call me and to date nothing at all! He did however agree that firestone was correct and all that work need to be done. As it turned out I stopped at Meineke on West Chester Pike and was told that I needed some exhaust work, but the pre-cat and muffler were fine unlike what this shop owner and Firestone told me! Instead of $1500 the cost was $269 dollars for some pipe work and the bracket that holds up the muffler. At some point I tried to make an appointment for the center mount, too busy was the answer, maybe next week! I ended up having the work done near me including the right axle, the mount etc for just a few hundred dollars. And I have to tell you bad reviews are not part of my DNA but this experience was the worst possible! I just dont get all the positive reviews!

Jim was fantastic! I made an appointment for an inspection of an rv that I wanted to buy. Not only did he thoroughly evaluate the entire rig, but he told me everything that he saw wrong with it. He even caught the rust around the hood connectors that had been painted over! His honesty with me, despite previous dealings with the seller, shows that he is the human embodiment of integrity. I highly recommend him! My only disappointment is that I live too far from the shop for him to be my mechanic.

This place is absolutely amazing! If you are looking for good customer service and honest service this is the place to go. I live in NJ and was desperate to find a mechanic I could trust to work on my car after being quoted $1,500+ for work without labor...after taking my car to Jimmy it didn’t cost nearly as much with labor and he was honest about what I did and didn’t need. Again had an oil change with inspection at another place that wanted to charge $400+ in work they said I needed, after Jimmy inspected my car, I only needed some fluids filled. Saved me over $2,000+ in charges that other places we were wanting to me to get for work I didn’t truly need. So thankful to Jimmy and his family!!!

Jim and Mike are the best mechanics around. Completely honest and hard working. They are not trying to sell you anything or make a quick buck. They do the work your car needs at a reasonable price. They test drive after every service to make sure things are right. If something isnt, they fix it. I had a muffler installed that did not sound right. I brought it back to Jim and he was so pleasant about it. After testing the car, he agreed it sounded slightly strange. He assured me he would fix it. Turns out the supplier sent the wrong muffler and Jim replaced at no charge to me. Leave you overpriced, belittling dealer behind and go to Jim and Mike!

About one (1) year ago my cars clutch and fly wheel gave out and needed to be replaced. I was driving home that night and without a functioning clutch, I had to pull over on the side of the road. After calling the tow truck, I had my car taken to the nearest auto body shop, which just so happened to be Northeastern Auto. Northeastern investigated the problem, and provided me with a quick prognosis. After ordering the parts, they called me with daily updates on their progress. They were able to address the problem in a timely fashion, despite it being a labor intensive process. Once they received the clutch and fly wheel from the supplier, I couldnt believe how quickly they fixed my problem at a fair price. When I picked up my car, about one (1) foot of snow had fallen the night before. The mechanic on staff even helped me shovel my way out of the parking lot (Thanks again)! One (1) year later, Ive had no other issues with my vehicle and my clutch is running smoothly. Ive even driven my car across the country without worry. Cheers to many more miles!

I agree with other posters that Jim and Mike are among the best mechanics around. I have taken my cars and trucks to them for years, have trusted them with basic and very-involved repairs, and have never been disappointed in price or quality. While other shops in the area have fallen the wayside, Northeast has kept its eye on the ball and served customers well.

Found the best place, took my car for an alignment and thats what I got. Midas in DeKalb pike, king of Prussia did a complimentary check up of the car and quoted the job to be done on my car as $2552and literally forced me to get the job done. I later took my car to Jim. It was just $110 for wheel alignment and I asked Jim to look at brake callipers, control arms and all other parts which are suggested by Midas if they are to be replaced. Jim says nothing needs to be replaced for next three months, Excellent Service!

When I lived in KoP, Id always take my car here for repairs, inspection, and usual oil change because I really trust the people working here. Its nice how they dont try and upsell me stuff I dont need and I can count on them doing a great job.My only complaint is that one time they were attempting to fix a squeaky noise coming from the front right tire. They determined it was the bushing, and so repaired it, and charged me. We later discovered that in fact its not the bushing that needed replacing, but instead the control arm, which we then duly had repaired and again charged for. Basically, I paid for a new bushing that I didnt need. But I deem it to be an honest mistake, and it doesnt take away from my overall positive impression of their services and integrity.
