I had a great experience at this place. I was in a real bind and most places in the area were booked and wouldn’t take any new vehicles in. I was pretty desperate as I was calling around trying to find a place to take my vehicle. I called an hour before close knowing that they may not be able to get me but the guy who answered I believe was the owner or owners son responded with if I can get in before close they can look at it or they can look at it first thing in the morning! Wow, already impressed with there quickness to want to get me back on the road without even looking at my vehicle. Anyways, long story short they looked at my vehicle first thing in morning and got me taken care of pretty quickly even with the load they already had. The staff we friendly and worked as a team. I am incredibly grateful for there service. Very reasonable prices and one of the most HONEST mechanics I have ever came across! You will not be disappointed doing business with these folks! Thanks again so much!!

I highly recommend Steeles for auto repair. Ive been taking my car there for several years. They do a great job, their prices are reasonable, and theyre friendly, polite and helpful. I like the fact that this is a small family business, with the parents and at least 2 adult sons working there.

Great family owned honest truck and car repair.

I moved to KOP from Montana. As a single mother, I needed to find a good auto mechanic shop. I was referred to Steeles. My father is a very good mechanic so I know my way around a motor, and these guys treated me fantastic. I really couldnt ask for better service. They are friendly, honest, and the prices are so good!!!! Very fair and thorough mechanic shop. I would send anyone I know to them. They will take good care of you!!! Thanks steeles for taking care of my mechanical needs while I lived here!!!

Quick and easy service. They were very trustworthy and worked with me with my needs.

I took my car to Firestone because I was having a few issues with noises and overheating. I got the more important ones taken care of then, but I later found out that I was insanely overcharged for what was actually simple work. And according to Firestone, I still needed an additional $700 of work done. Something regarding control arms, or a sway bar. The noise driving over bumps was horrendous.I took it to Steeles Auto Repair for a second opinion. After a thorough look over they found that only a bushing and a missing bracket needed replaced. Less than a $100 repair. I would have been more than happy to pay the full quoted price if thats what my car needed, but Steeles Auto was honest. The car was done in an hour. Im sure they would have been happy to sell me more, but these small businesses look out for you. Im upset I didnt take it here first. My 15 year old car with 120k miles on it feels better than ever.Edit: Another awesome job by Steeles. Car died, was able to have it towed to the shop, and they diagnosed and fixed the problem in a timely manner at a reasonable price. They had it ready for the weekend. I do not feel overcharged like I do at pep boys or Firestone. The car feels better than ever, I wont take it anywhere else.

Wish I could select 0 stars for this place. First off they wanted to charge me twice the retail price for a fuel pump. When I questioned them about it I was told they would call me back and never did. I called them later in the day and was told just to take my truck else where well NP . they seen that I was from out of town by my NY plates on the truck and wanted to take full advantage of it

There really has not been a time in my life where I felt I was not taken advantage of by a mechanic until I met Doc and his crew. The first time I took my Silverado in to get repairs done two years ago my bill was under the quoted price... needless to say I have not used anyone else since. Thanks again Doc.
