Diagnosed a fuse on the back of the dryer and then said he had to go back and order the part. I requested the part number and it is something that takes less than 2 minutes to replace, and I can get in 2 days. They were about to charge another service fee, part cost, and labor for 1 minute of work. Moreover, this is a part that if you’re fixing a lot of dryers, you MUST carry with you. But conveniently they would’ve gotten another $100 out of me if I hadn’t done 5 minutes of research.
It is so hard to find decent and honest appliances repair company. This company has such standards. Professional technicians and great customer service.
Had them come in on a warranty call. They were very fast and professional on both the initial call and when coming back to replace a part.

I read the past few comments and it seems like they were written when the company was shut down around the time when the pandemic reached the US. Anyway, I gave this company a shot. Set up an appointment, the technitian showed up at a set time. It took him 15 minutes to find an issue with my microwave and fix it on spot. In and out, prompt, prefessional and not a rip off like some other companies I used in the past. I highly recommend!
They sent me a text message and confirmed an appointment. Then on the day of scheduled service, they called me and asked me to make an appointment again and couldn’t come in during the period we scheduled. Will never do business with them if not contracted by our home warranty company.
I came in contact with them through my warranty company. They sent someone over to my house to fix a fridge and I was told that they needed to order some parts and will be back after talking to the manger. They never contacted me or anything.I called their office multiple times and left a voicemail and did not hear back. I had to call my warranty company to get update. Totally fees up and dissatisfied
Our fairly new dryer started making some scary noises. We had a scheduled visit almost immediately after we contacted Pro-Tech Appliance Repair. Great response! Detailed troubleshooting was performed, and we got a clear explanation on the required part and next steps in getting our dryer fully functioning again.As soon as the required part was received, the technician came back to complete the repair. Extremely professional, knowledgeable and efficient. Our dryer runs as it did on day one. We are happy Pro-Tech Appliance repair customers! Will definitely use the company again for our appliance repair needs.
Great company! It was easy to schedule an appointment. Technicians arrived on time, despite extreme rain. They were courteous and professional. My dryer was repaired the same day, and it needed spare parts. After describing a problem, they knew immediately what was wrong and how to fix it. Also they took their time to explain to me how to prevent it in the future.
Protech was selected by my warranty company to repair my microwave. Appointment was set up on a given day with a 11-3 window to show up. Waited until 3 that day and called and received a message via my warranty company someone would arrive shortly. Company never called nor arrived. Still have not hear from them. Would never want to conduct business with this Protech-NEVER.
Showed up on time, collected their diagnostic payment then requested few days to order parts.They disappeared for 3 months now nowhere to be found, never answer their phones or text.Be careful
This is the worse repair company I have ever dealt with. The home warranty company that I use had selected pro Tech to come out and look at my stove top. After 2 times they are still not sure what the issue is. Yet, when I asked the technician what he was going to report he said that it may be a manufacturing issue. He knew that after the 1st visit but he still reported that the stove top needed new burners. That wasnt the case. Avoid this company if you can.

I had an awful experience with this company recently for the oven repair. My home warranty assigned the job to this company. After the first inspection, they said they need to order new hinges of the oven door. Second time they came to install the new parts and claimed the job was done successfully. When I used the oven the first time after the so called repair, the oven door fell off and almost caused a severe accident! The technician from this company came to my home third time and then sent a report back to my home warranty company. The report said the oven door was damaged due to wear and tear and was not in the warranty coverage.So if the system allowed, I will not give any star to this dishonest company.Be cautious when you consider to use this company.You may also find many bad reviews in Yelp, especially when the jobs were assigned from home warranty companies.
Customer service was excellent. Also, when technician came to fix my LG refrigerator he quickly found the problem, brought the part put it on and he was out. My refrigerator it’s working like new!
They never returned our phone calls for service & our fridge is still not fixed.
