Best. Nail. Salon. Ever. Im so glad that my friend told me about this salon. If I had time Id make the 3 1/2 hour drive just to get my nails done here every single time because its worth it. Very impressed with my nails the past 2 times and definitely plan on coming back soon. Ask for Michelle! She is so sweet, talented, and professional.

First time going, seen lots of good reviews on Google I tried it and was not disappointed! I went to the young man at the end #9, full set long he took off my old set and was super gentle with my nail beds, he was very precise with his work and the price was much more reasonable then I expected with gel polish I will definitely be going back.

I hate posting negative reviews, but this was really upsetting. I went in to get the gel off my nails. I decided I would go ahead and do a manicure. I said that I would do the gel with the stiletto shape. I had no idea that wouldn’t work and that I needed to do a dip so it would be thick enough. When they were done they were so thin and sharp there was no way I would get through a day without them breaking. The tips were so sharp I actually cut myself with them. They were unreasonable. I asked the lady if she could make them thicker and she just said no. As a professional, she should have told me that the dip would be a better choice and that the gel wouldn’t work. That’s their job. They would just break the very same day. I left with them super brittle. I went back that evening to get them redone because they already started breaking. They were closed but Vicky who did my nails was standing outside. I asked her why she didn’t tell me to do the dip? After all, I paid $50.., she just laughed at me! I went back the next day expecting them to fix it, but Vicky told me it was my fault for choosing it. It wasn’t her responsibility to tell me what would work better. She was rude and acted like it was my fault. They charged me another $30 to fix it. They thought taking $10 off was doing me a favor. I am appalled. I spent $80 total. Hannah fixed my nails and was super sweet. But it doesn’t change what happened. I hope people can learn from this review not to expect guidance or help from the employees. All they had to do was tell me the dip would work much better in the first place and none of this would have happened.

I made an appointment same day when I came in I was sat right away and John was my nail technician, he was very polite and fulfilled my request of thin acrylic and really made sure that everything was to my liking. There were a few moments where the nails werent looking how I wanted them to and he fixed it right away, Michelle helped out a little bit as well making sure that the nails were straight and shaped exactly how I wanted. I think maybe John was new and needed a little bit of guidance. But regardless my nails came out looking amazing and I would still recommend him to anyone as well as Michelle!! I will definitely be coming back! I paid $50 for gel with coffin shape. Which is reasonable given the length.

I have to be honest. My nail technician today (5/13) was very sweet, but she rushed so quickly through my manicure and pedicure that I thought she was going to cut my fingertips off. I have never had anyone cut and file my fingernails and toenails at such a rapid pace or felt so hurried at a nail salon. I was cringing the whole time. When I got out into the sunlight after leaving the salon, the finished product was terrible. The clear coat doesn’t go anywhere close to the edges of the color, they are filed unevenly and my cuticles were barely trimmed. I’m embarrassed to show my hands at my event tonight. My nails look like a 6 year old painted them. $60 down the drain. I feel terrible leaving a bad review, but I am really let down.

The first few times I have come have been great service and very precise design and neat polishing. This time I came for a simple color change and the gentleman who worked with me was very rough and the job was rushed the coating was uneven I have thick chunky paint spots and the shaping was bad.. some were square and some were not and even the square ones were slanted. Very rushed for no reason he had no clients after me. Unfortunately I did not tip for that reason but every other time I have and I love the work of the other technicians!

Vicky was amazing and funny and I got the dip. Nancy was great with my daughter and she got the gel. They have very good work great pricing and a very chill atmosphere. Totally got a glass of wine. We will be returning for more girls days

I’ve been coming here a couple of times now and they’ve done a great job on acrylic nails and today I got my nails done by Brandon who I’ve seen does any amazing job but I guess just not on mine today. I feel so weird because my nails on both hands are different sizes from one another I wish I could take them off and get them redone.

I am very disappointed is the service I received from Ken my late trip to this nail salon. I decided to try something new and do gel polish with acrylic nail adding in butterflies. I told him three times to flip the butterfly so it matched the others. I told him that I wanted them to match. He didnt honor my request and did what he wanted. I also told him I wanted Rose Gold polish and he put on Penny Cooper Brown. I had never had gel nails before so I thought the color changed after curing like the dipped nail but it did not. There was no pink tone what so ever in the polish. His facial expressions and body language told me he was completely frustrated with me so I didnt speak up. He made me feel like it was my fault; like I was being difficult. I asked for rounded tips and he did square. After Ken not listening to me about the butterflies I shut down and just let him do whatever. I went home and cried because I disliked my nails so much. And even though I wasnt happy with the service I tipped him only because my daughters nail tech sits right next to him. She is amazing and always does a great job for my daughter. I thought it would be rude to tip her and not him. But as I walked away he said aye aye aye in relief that is difficult customer was leaving. He had done my nails 3 times before and other than his roughness on my hands and standoff customer service skills I thought he was okay. Well not Saturday. That night I wrote a review and the manager texted me telling me they would correct my nails. I called them on Sunday to confirm they would fix them and a female said yes they would. I got up to the salon and they told me they were going to have charge me again for my nails to be fixed. Really!?! There are great nail techs at this salon however Ken is not one of them. There is a another male nail tech that does a great job but Sunday he sided with his fellow employee and didnt fix my nails. I went here solely for my daughter as she loves her nail tech...she will continue going but I am not sure I want to. Service from Ken was really bad Saturday and unacceptable!

This will be my final time going. Ive been coming with my niece and we always get the same exact thing. She only get her nails and I do pedi and mani and today the man at the front desk over charged or they changed the prices w/o notice . Either got fake nails or designs and paid damn near $200 for the basic Ill never go back. Take it that I paid all that money my nails are chipped and I just got them done Saturday today is only Tuesday

I absolutely love Sassy Nails. Once I found them, I never went to another nail salon. Their quality is incredible and my nails always look amazing. Not only that but their service is impeccable. For example, today I had an appointment with Michelle and I could not, for the life of me, decide on the colors or designs I wanted but she was so insanely patient with me and even helped me choose which colors would look best with what I wanted. I will always recommend Sassy Nails to everyone who asks where I get them done!

They did a great job on my mom’s pedicure and manicure but the person who did my sister’s full set w/ color and design did not take their time and therefore did a bad job. She was not happy. Overall wonderful service and a great place for a mani and pedi.

Guy took almost 2 hours to do a basic full set. Cut my toe when trying to remove cuticle, left with foot bleeding. Overall people are nice, just wish service was quicker.

Brandon at Sassy Nails did the most beautiful ombre dip nails that Ive ever seen! A week has already gone by and they have withheld even the intense rigor that I put my nails through. One of Brandons co-workers at the salon said, very fittingly, that Brandon is truly passionate about his work and makes every client look like a piece of art. I have to concur!

I have been seeing Michelle recently to do my nails. The first time I came in, my nails were a complete hot mess. Michelle explained why my nails were chipping and breaking within a few days of getting them done. I had her do a fresh set on me and haven’t had any issues ever since she fixed me up. They remain beautiful until my next appointment. Michelle is also on schedule for my nail appointments and never makes me late or makes me wait. She is very friendly as is the rest of the team I encountered. I have nothing negative to say about Sassy Nails and the people who run it. Their pricing is very fair based off of what you are asking for and it is always done correctly and professionally. Thank you to the Sassy team for making me feel beautiful every time I leave your Nail Salon. If your clients don’t tell you enough, you are doing a great job!!!!

My nail tech was an amazing nail techs so sweet so kind she listen to me talk the entire time! I was worried the nail polish would come off or get ruined but they look just as good as when I got them done.

I scheduled an appointment and they rushed me and kept messing up my nails. keep in mind it’s my birthday and they ruined my nails. told me i couldn’t get a pedicure bc they were already close even though I MADE AN APPOINTMENT. i’m so frustrated and want a refund. & i kept telling him he was messing them up and he didn’t even care. left nail polish all over my hands n bumps under the polish.

Beautiful and clean nail salon. The products used were of nice quality. The filing and nail painting were flawless. Pricing is very reasonable. Ill be back!

Update. I returned the following Monday to get my nails fixed, at no charge. I changed the polish brand to test my hypothesis. Salon is the same and technician was the same so I do think Kiara Sky polish is no good. I’ve added photos for comparison. (This is regular polish, no gel, dip, or powder). I’m happier with this new polish and it’s normal wear and tear, which is to be expected (especially where I work in a hospital with using hand sanitizer every 30 mins at most). I’ve updated review to 4 full stars ⭐️—I’d give 3.8 stars. Service is great and so is atmosphere and cleanliness. I got a combo of pampered pedicure and classic manicure with regular polish (Kiara Sky) which took over an hour and a half. My pedicure could have included more massage and scrubbing. My manicure started chipping the same day which they fixed, but got worse with flaking off the next day. My guess is it’s the polish so I’d advise against Kiara Sky maybe. I’d return and try a different polish brand. Photo is taken 3 days post.

I went there today and was amazed by their hospitality. I’m very picky whenever I get my nails done but they listened very carefully and did everything perfectly. A customer came in and was very rude from the get go, raising her voice and etc. But they all handled the situation perfectly!!! I would definitely go again!!

I cannot put into words how much I LOVE and respect this place. I had another salon completely mess up my nails (right before a big event) and refused to fix them after admitting they messed up. I was panicking and started calling every nail salon on Google. Every single salon recommended Sassy Nails, most specifically Brandon. I called and Sassy Nails told me to come on over and they would fix them. The salon was supposed to close at 7pm. They were so kind and stayed late, starting my nails at 7pm. I was out of there by 7:40pm with PERFECT nails. Sassy Nails took the time to fix another salon’s mistake because they genuinely care about people. They offered me a refreshment and treated me with so much hospitality. I will only go to Sassy Nails from now on.

I went in with a group of friends on a Saturday. Clearly they were busy but the whole process seemed rushed. The woman doing my pedicure made my toe bleed from how low she cut my nail. When I got out in the sun all the polish was very splotchy and I had polish all over the bottom of one of one of my feet. I was extremely disappointed by the whole experience.

Horrible service! My daughter got her nails done here with a friend, she came home and I was livid! Her nails were a mess! Literally a mess! She told me it took her nails 5 hours to dry! The polish was chunky, they didn’t even paint her nails all the way! I will NEVER give them service ever again! You can tell the finished product was rushed! I wish I took a picture, but we already got them fixed at Creative nail, which I suggest you go to!

Its better than the place in ward parkway but they can never seem to remember me even when i go in routinely and when i go in i make an appointment for two weeks later but every time i come in they cant find my appointment even though i watched them write it down. I had really high hopes for Sassy Nails. I’ve been twice now and both times I feel as though I’ve been rushed and my designs aren’t being taken into consideration. Both were acrylic sets. The first time I left with a cut on my hand after getting my skin filed. Along with that when Brandon came to assist with my design he didn’t look at the design Vicky tried to show him, he waved her off and didn’t even look at what I wanted and rushed to get it finished. I understand why because it was busy but the second time I came in it was rather slow and Brandon yet again still seemed like he was rushing. I showed him a photo for reference and the nails were brown and I asked for brown, but somehow I left with purple and white nails. I really do believe Sassy Nails has amazing service and beautiful nail art but I’ve yet to see that. I’ve spent $65 each time and ended up crying in my car because I was too afraid to tell them to fix it, they work hard and I feel like if i criticize their work it would be seen as rude. But it would be nice to leave with something I actually asked for.Update: my whole fingernail fell off...I’m not blaming the workers at all but I just got these nails 2 days ago and my pinky nail has been completely ripped off. I was doing simple work, work that I’ve done wearing acrylics before but I guess this nail couldn’t handle it? Because now I’m left with no fingernail :(

I went to this place for the 1st time just because of the good reviews and it’s not what I thought it would be. The prices are definitely not worth what you get. My first time and My nails look rushed which I was rushed and didn’t really do my nails the way the picture that was shown. Also some of them are kind of rude. Well, I won’t be going back(respectfully)At least I tried.

We went for my daughters 9th birthday. They were so great with her and her friends. This place is a well oiled machine getting people in, done, and out with great looking nails.

Started coming here for pedicures and I find myself always coming back even though I live in Raytown. Their techs are amazing at what they do. Recently, I came here for a dip powder manicure and it was a great experience. Brandon took care of me and was very thorough with his work. He also did a quick consultation before he started on my nails which I ALWAYS appreciate. Big brownie points there! The end result was BEAUTIFUL.Thank you, Sassy Nails, for always taking care of me! I went in for a fill. The tech was rough, short, rude. I normally don’t care for conversation so it wasn’t a big deal until I saw my nails at the end. I went in for a fill with gel polish and they are THICK, uneven and streaky.

This used to be my favorite nail salon in KC, but it seems that they are such a high volume location that they dont care about service. I went for a fill 2 days ago but it looks like I need another one already as they purposely dont fill the nail all the way to the cuticle to force you to come back sooner, while still charging as much or more as other salons. Im very disappointed because I really liked this location, but wont support this type of practice with my money. Ive experienced this more than once with more than one technician, including the owner, hoping I could just receive service from someone else and get a better experience, but it was the same. Update 1 week after my fill you can see where the technician purposely didnt fill the nail and left a noticable edge now growing. I was charged $20 and tipped $5 but now have to get another fill to fix a poor service that is common practice at this salon, my mistake for returning at all.

I have been going to Michelle for a LONG TIME & today I went inside around 1:20pm, they were busy and the wait time was about 45 min I was told. So i come back around 3ish. I asked for Michelle and I was now told that she does appointments only. Mind you, I graduate tomorrow and have been waiting to come get my nails done. I tell them I will try someone new because I have to have them done. They tell me after I show them a photo of what I want done, and i get basically humiliated from three of the employees saying we can’t do that only michelle can. After sitting down and explaining what I wanted and then being told they can’t do it only tomorrow really was upsetting because the real reason they “couldn’t do it” was because they were about to close and they were still very busy. Now I always leave a good tip and Im an amazing customer but it’s very upsetting when I come in for the same lady I ALWAYS go to and now they all the sudden came up with some lies.
