Garbage customer service.They dont care about the customers and the attitude is nasty.The wait is very long.They STILL make you wear face masks without providing them.I would try to avoid this place if I where you!

IAAI KANSAS IS THE WORST CAR AUCTION IN UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The country was blocked by snow storms and they still did not consider giving us credit for storage fees. The worst customer experience ever !

Very very rude employees! I purchased a vehicle that had a key that came with it in the photos and when I asked them what was up with that, they gave me the equivalent to a middle finger.... it is worth going over to a few states or other yards to avoid these wretched people!

My car was considered a total loss due to a minor accident and when I went to buy it back just a few days after it was taken, this place had made it look worse than what it did when they got it (scratches all down the side, roof, and trunk, paint chipped off above driver door, grease stains all over the inside of the car, even the ceiling and mirror, cigarette ashes everywhere on the inside, etc). Plus, on the windshield, the words DO NOT FORK were written but the forklift driver brought it out WITH THE FORKLIFT ANYWAY! They atleast need to hire people who can read. Terrible place.

Purchased 2 run and drive vehiecles from here both of them have the keys missing, called the branch, they refused to honer them, after discussing it poliyly with the office supervisor she hanged up the phone on me twice. This action in any way is not accepted and represents how bad of service they provide. NICKI REPRESENTS HER PERSONALITY HOW SHE IS BAD AND UN-RESPECTED PERSON. ALSO SHE INSTRUCTED THE OFFICE REPS TO HANG UP ON ME WHEN I CALL.

This location is the worst I have been to in terms of Auctions in the USA. Only one person attending to drivers while the other staffs sit and cant help. The yard is also not organised at all. You will spend 5hours here

This is the worst IAA to get loaded at. All the other branches get you in and out no issues. This one you show up at 3 pm and they refuse to let you in or get loaded. They have 3 loaders but only run one.

Good service once in-store but getting a hold of anyone via phone right now is a nightmare. I blame this on COVID - not quality of their staff. Everyone who assisted me was kind, helpful, thorough and knowledgeable. My personal wait time was a little lengthy but that’s because one person kept getting back in the front of the line while he was picking up a car. I would give 5 stars but I have a constructive complaint and that’s someone needs to figure out a new system for people to stand in line. It’s kind of a hodge podge right now and there’s no real “line” for people to form. You just stand in a row and have to go off the honors system of who was next in line to be helped. Having a way to make an appointment online would also be super beneficial and would cutback on people just showing up and expecting the staff to already know what they’re there for.Edit: I forgot to mention, during the process of my car being picked up at the mechanics to the time it got to the lot, my license plates went missing (AKA stolen). I don’t know who did this and I’m not blaming IAA, but pick up EVERYthing from your car the day it gets towed after a wreck. Don’t wait. My car was towed here without my consent or knowledge when it was picked up.

Dear car haulers don’t haul cars from their auction, employees are unprofessionals there is always very big line and only one forklift is working, last time i was picking up only 1 car and i waste my five working hours because of their poor management

Do not waist your time requesting storage fees to be waived! This location has herd every excuse in the book and are very tuff when it comes to this subject. I had an issue at their offsite location which caused a delay in picking up a few other vehicles at their main site on my second trip. Unfortunately I was unable to get a hold of the branch Mgr due to the fact it was closing time and their overwhelming volume of calls. Few days later, Ms Maria Collins ( branch Mgr ) & her assistant Ms Nicky, informed me that they would look into my situation and get back to me. Not only did she call me at 6:45 pm ( after hours ) she apologized for not getting back to me sooner & She went ABOVE & BEYOND to address all my concerns and make it right! A+++ Customer Service! Excellent Team! Thank you!

Horrible. I have purchased here many times and I am thinking this is the last time. Had to wait 3 hours to get me loaded. Almost every time the keys are missing as well as the manuals. The workers if thats what you want to call them are lazy and steal everything. Thia place is a joke. Copart is way better as well as any other iaai.

The WORST IAA EVER. Car haulers be prepared to wait here minimum 3 hours. Even when the place is empty they take wayy too long to bring the cars. I was the only person there and I had to wait 1 and a half hour. Avoid going there if you can.

The worst branch I have been to, terrible and rude staff and management, they make you feel like you are they to beg them or asking for charity, loading time is horrible, majority of transporters refuse to go there and worst of all, IAA won’t do a thing about it as it has been like this for years.

Keeps missing car pickup appointments and their automated phone system is scrambled.

Because a severe auto accident lead me there, I hope to never go back. But despite the reason, the employees were very nice and professional, allowing me to get my belongings out of the car with no fuss. Thank you.

Worst place to deal with!!!! Went there to pick up a motorcycle, was a huge line in front of me picking up cars, the lady from reception wouldnt let me take it, made me wait hours, and in the end the bike was just right next to the entrance, by the fence! Please review your staff IAA, otherwise you will loose business!

You can really find some good buys here, but hiring somebody to do an inspection for your purchases is strongly suggested before you bid on auctions. Buyer beware is a good way to think when buying from auto auctions.

The worse auction place on earth. Paid my 200.00 bucks online filled out all forms and received conformation. Called the KC branch 4 times before going to my 1st auction with money ready to buy some cars. Stacy told me to leave and was not allowed there. After 3 times of slowly telling her how to type my last name she still said...NOT IN THE SYSTEM ...you need to leave. The manager was no where to be found and had asked to talk with him on the SELL DAY. Nicole would not get up off her butt to help in finding out what IAA did wrong in not having me in the system. They finally claim they found me. Now they wanted me to re sign everything once again. Horrible people lazy people and no experience in working with buyers. After leaving came back and wanted my 200 dollars back they claim can not do it must go online. How stupid. WORSE EVER and really liked their program with selling cars. Can tell this place would only get worse not better for us buyers. My opinion go other places folks. Lots of liberals work here... beware, very hateful people...anti Pres. Trump..

Worst customer service out of all the IAAI auctions I buy at. Employees are always rude. They also don’t know how to take out the cars with the fork lifts. The cars have even more damage than the pictures when bought. Step it up or get better employees that want to work there.

Our car was a total loss. Went to pick up our belongings out of our vehicle just to find out that all our stuff was taken. Only thing they could do was tell me i have to file a police report....state farm secured tow lot....i have pictures of all our stuff and so does state farm. Guess who has to pay once again? Me...state farm and iaa is a joke.

Iaai use to be my favorite place to purchase cars.i had a few bad experiences and I pasted them as if things happen.but I dropped off my motorcycle five days before the sale and it never made the auction. So when I finally called in to check on my motorcycle which they never call me witches was the professional thing to do. But they stated that my bike was taken from their auction and put in another auction Ive never heard of that they could have just told me we made a mistake the bike never made the auction I felt like I was talk to like a kid telling me a story that made no sense and I was in no position to disrespect their office but that was so very wrong. And then told me they would do this they would do that like theyre doing me a favor and they causes problem.

The Title Specialist here, Reality, is a miracle worker. She practices a genuine approach in all of her interactions. Bought a new car and it was totaled while I had temporary tags. Ran into complications with the insurance company. After waiting for nearly a month, the insurance company connected me with Reality and she gave us clear direction on which actions to take before we could have our (now totaled) vehicle inspected and obtain a title with our name on it. Ask for Reality at IAA, she will get you taken care of while expressing an authentic concern for your conditions and the situation!! I would give her 100 ⭐️s if I could.

Easily one of the worst experience I have ever had in my life. As if totaling a car isnt stressful enough trying to go to this place and clean out your car is a whole new level of ridulousness. Customer service is unbelievably unhelpful. They will just throw items where ever they see fit without a care in the world for your personal belongings. In addition they help themselves to items they decide would look better on them. I highly recommend not leaving nikes or Chiefs gear in your car when you total it because insurance auto auction will steal it. And then they just play dumb and make you go through you insurance company to sort out the theft. This establishment should be shut down and with any luck one day soon it will be. Do not go here you will regret it !!!!

Loading time isnt the quickest took 3 hrs to load one vechile. guys that came after me by 45min got loaded quicker. Be prepared to wait!!!!!!

If you can avoid this place, DO IT! Worst experience ever, save yourself money and hussle. Cars have more damage than describe. I bought a 2007 chevrolet silverado 3500 dually. I went and to check out at the action truck start right up. The add said runs and drives. Clean title rear right body damage. So i decide to buy it. So when i went to pick up i thoug i could drive it home. But no so i had to call a tow truck to take it home. Later that week took it to a mechanic shop. They diagnostic bad transfer case and need to be replace, the front suspension was bad too. So i end up spending around $ 7000 to star driving the truck. I was really mad cause the lie on the add said runs and drive. They knew the problems on the truck. The y dont care rip in off custumers. So i really dont recomded buying at iaai.

Great price for cars. Some staff members are friendly but there is one lady that is not so nice to deal with.

Towed my car two days early, never had a chance to get my personal items out of the car. Insurance told me they would mail it to me. After getting strung along for two months I was finally told that it had been discarded due to a computer problem. Lost about $600 worth of tools, a sizeable CD collection, garage door opener remote, an Adidas hoodie, and probably more that I dont remember
