Week in and week out I always find an amazing deal. You have helped me fully furnish my home with high top quality items at a fraction of the cost! You have helped me make residual income - I love the friendly & helpful staff. I’ve been to other pallet auctions but this is one is the best hands down.
Its a good place oh, I started going when they were in the caves some years ago ended up with so much stuff I was forced to open a store, just be sure when you go in that you double check your paperwork make sure they keyed in the right item oh, you can find anything there.. just a few items that way there but its a big Warehouse
What a huge awesome place to buy in bulk and for a great price! Be prepared to wait awhile when you go to pick up your winnings. It could take up to 3 to 4 hours at times!!-
Item as advertised. Great comm. Very friendly and helpful. Would have given 5 stars if I wasnt required to wear a totally worthless mask.
Didnt find anything of value and people way overpaid for pallets.
Refused to cancel an online order. I asked to cancel within 5 minutes of placing the order after realizing I sent the item to the wrong address. They instantly refused to cancel the order and made a shipping label to make it seem like the item has shipped. Three days later and USPS has yet to receive the item and they continue to refuse to cancel the order. Now I get the hassle of returning the item. $700 tied up for weeks because they are lazy. Would not recommend.
Great place lots of stuff on Ebay, great service
Love this place... its my honey pot!
Its kinda random but its a great place!!!
I love the auction itself. But the employees on the pick up days are in such a rush they come off as rude and inconsiderate.
I enjoy this auction. I have found some great deals here.
I actually works here. The public seems to enjoy the bid sale.
We will be planning to visit your property and was explained about everything and hope to be seeing you guys soon.
Great place, Been going here for about 10 years. This is their new location of course.
The place is as hot as an oven inside, i brought in something to drink and i lowered my mask to take a drink and another lady comes over and says Put your mask on or LEAVE!!! ...my mask was ON, i just lowered it enough to take a drink. According to the Health and safety regs that are in place in Missouri, i can lower my mask to eat or drink and i was simply taking a drink. They should learn to read and learn what customer service is. Will NEVER return to this place. They can keep selling their junk to these broke bargain hunters in here, but myself and my group of buyers are done with this place.
This place has anything and everything... even the kitchen sink.
Theres more stuff to bid on than you can shake a stick at!
Love to dive through the boxes never know what you will find. If you do go double check your numbers and take pictures it always helps me
This is the most fun way to make $!!!! The staff and the forklift drivers and everyone there has been super and super helpful.
Always a blast and never any way of predicting what we’ll walk away with.
Cargo Largo Bid Sales is always a fun time! Their is alot to look at and bid on. Their is something for everybody. On hot days, expect it to be hot in the warehouse too. On rare occasions something on the pallet you bid on gets moved onto a different pallet next to it. I suggest taking a photo of any pallets you bid on. I highly recommend this place.
Cargo Largo is a very interesting experience. If you like garage sales, auctions, and storage locker sales you will love Cargo Largo bid sales. The building is huge, product is lined up in long rows of four or five pallets deep. You will find every kind of item you can imagine, and the high bid wins. When you bid you are usually bidding on an entire pallet. Most bids begin at $5.00. It is (or used to be) very possible to win an entire pallet of stuff for $5. One complaint of those of us who have been attending for a long time is how elevated the prices have become. I know higher prices are normal when the number of bidders increases, and this is good for Cargo Largo. However, the days of really good deals for bidders is mostly over.Bidding takes place on Thursday from 3-8 and you will find out if youve won something by 10 or 11 that night by email.Beware, the building can be cold in the winter and is often hot in the summer. On Friday you must come load out what youve won. Hint: when signing up for the service be sure to get a reservation for a load out time on Friday. You get priority on Friday when you have a reservation AND arrive within 5 minutes of your scheduled reservation time. All who do not have a reservation have to pull a numbered ticket when they arrive and wait...and wait...and wait. The wait is in two parts. First, you wait to pay for your winning bids then you go back and sit down and wait again to get assigned to a load out slot.Enjoy bid sales!
Something you can get reasonable. But you got to know what to bid on it without going overboard. And its fun to see what you got
After driving an hour to your sale, as soon as I arrive, I was told they stop registering bidders at 7 and I needed to leave, I was there at 10 minutes after 7. Drove an hour wasted time and gas. Your employe quite rudely commented that its on the website that they stop taking bidders at 7 but it does not. This sale is run like damn small town rodeo. Idiots.
We enjoy attending the bid sales. The process is made quick and painless by the great staff!
Always a fun adventure.
Fun and a chance to make a bit of money? Truly my dream come true. Cargo Largo Bid Sales come close to just that. While you can easily pick up a pallet or two of just about anything watch out for the seemingly awesome lot where the top layer is good but the rest is junk. Also come prepared to get dirty. Its a warehouse after all. Above all have fun.
Used to be place to find great bargains prices keep going higher. Good for them though.
Only won 1 time, but it’s a neat place to go to
Staff is friendly and things are pretty simple and straight forward. But it is a buyer beware situation and there are many bidders there that run bids up to almost (and sometimes over) retail. Know what youre doing, be knowledgeable about the products youre bidding on, bid smart and there are some GOOD deals to be had.
Bought an item on an Ebay auction and the person I dealt with to arrange pickup was quite friendly and helpful. Seems a great place to get something for a better price than off the shelf if you are close enough to pick it up. If not the shipping might make up the difference especially on a larger item....
I really like the idea but so many people bid higher than I think makes it worth it. But thats just my opinion and I love bargains 😄
Well I was visiting this facility for business purposes, I was able to your the venue and noticed how safe, organized, and professional the staff was.
Registration was easy. Not overly crowded and we were able to get a parking space without any trouble. It has a large warehouse feel and there are rows and rows of numbered palates and cages of miscellaneous stuff. It is a silent bid process and when you are done, checkout isnt too painful if you dont mind a little waiting in line. There is a system/proicess even though you might think its a little disorganized. And, you may have to weave between Pallets so expect that some good finds will take a little effort. What do they have? All kinds of things...They have supplies for school office and the jobsite, lots of packaged food items orr gadgets and/or even maybe some baby clothes and/or electronucs and mismatched items in each lot... from pens to evening gowns and from protein packets to cleaning products, and from swing sets to seat cushions, books to carpets, calendars to a mixed lot of paper towels and Christmas decorations and from videos to crates of phone cases, and from game systems and pots and pans to door frames, floor tiles, dressers, bathtubs, or ladders and unassembled pieces of furniture to car parts, tires or a broken rumba... they have tons of stuff. Wear gloves as its a little dusty there and make sure you have comfortable shoes on and nothing too heavy or bulky to carry. (There are bathrooms and a couple of vending machines if you say that long... I dont think kids are allowed but its not a ol as ve for them even if so).
Love this place well going here dropping love it more When I win what I bid on
Gotta love some cargo largo!
Physically entering this store immediately makes me nervous and claustrophobic. I guess they have good deals on overstock stuff, but I was too busy waiting in my car to verify this.
Great place for the bargain seeker. Beware of bidding on too many items unless you have a trailer, van, ability to rent a moving truck, and most of all an understanding wife.
A bunch of junk
I remember the first time I ever went to CG (Cargo Largo), it was all new to me.At first, I did not like it. I went a few more times and now I wish I would live closer to check the deals out more often. I always check eBay for the greatest deals. The actual store has great deals that the only way to find out what are the deals is by actually going. Yeah SOME items are damaged here and there but there are also items that are not.
Cargo Largo holds a bid sale every Thursday. Ive been going off and on for a couple years. Its open to the public and runs for several hours, so you are competing against a very large number of people. They have hundreds of pallets of stuff up for bid in their huge warehouse, but its mostly returned merchandise, damaged goods, or overstock items. Each pallet usually has a hodge-podge of stuff from the retailer from which it originated. Its fun looking around the sale, because you never know what you will find. It really runs the gamut: books, cleaning supplies, video games, computers, food, appliances, office equipment, DVDs, industrial equipment, supplements, sunglasses, medical supplies, clothing, power tools, furniture, and other miscellaneous stuff. Heck, one time I saw a pink child-size coffin. Another time they were selling a giant statue of a Yeti.Honestly, a lot of the stuff looks like it is one step away from the dump. You are taking some risk when you buy this junk, because some of it is likely damaged and/or missing pieces. Sure, you can examine the merchandise before bidding, but its still somewhat of a crapshoot, depending on the type of item.My biggest problem with Cargo Largo is the nature of how the bid sale works. Its like a blind silent auction. You write down your bid for each item, but you have no idea what other people have bid. You submit the bid before you leave and they will let you know if you have won later that night. I have picked up some great deals from time to time, but on many occasions I have come up completely empty. Since it takes at least an hour to really see everything at the sale, its rather frustrating when you view the results later and did not win anything. Its really difficult to pinpoint what you should bid, since you have no frame of reference. I think this leads many (possibly inexperienced) bidders to make outrageous bids that often exceed an items retail value. In my opinion, its a discouraging, inefficient bidding process, and that flaw is the reason I only attend these sales periodically.
DANGER: Do NOT be fooled by the rave reviews for Cargo Largo, which I believe are totally fake. These people are SCAMMERS. The product that I ordered was advertised as new but turned out be heavily used and damaged. It was also missing parts. I had even checked before ordering but was assured that the item was perfect and brand new. I returned the product to Cargo Largo, but they refused to credit my credit card account. They also refused to reply to my inquiries, obviously because they were waiting for the 60-day dispute window to expire. Thus, I was forced to dispute the purchase with my credit card issuer just to receive a refund. It is not worth the aggravation of dealing with these nasty crooks. They will say and do anything to defraud their hardworking customers out of every possible cent, especially if you buy from their brick and mortar stores. To add insult to injury, Cargo Largos prices are actually higher than those of competing stores for the same products, most of which are discontinued or damaged in some way. You are not getting the great deal that you think you are!!!
Alot of fun and cheep, cheep, cheep. I buy to much every week but still go back weekly for the deals
I have been going to their auctions for 15 years and everything was great. BUT, their RUDENESS this morning ruined all that. Mini ICE STORM this morning and roads are being closed. I was told that I knew we would have bad weather today. I was informed that if if I did not get my pallets today. I could NOT get them on Monday, and I would lose my 6 winning pallets AND I would also be charged a fee for each pallet. THAT ONE EMPLOYEE HAS DESTROYED MY RELATIONSHIP WITH CARGO LARGO.
Great place to buy things you want and sell the things you dont!
I used to love going there. But the rude staff is why I quit going.
Lost and damaged freight auction. You never know what might be there but its always fun to look and see what they have.
Good experience, bought a pallet of mixed items that had all hardware for adult in house swing. When picked up pallet was mixing hardware bag. Beyond that it was good!
I bought a cooler here and I love it I will be back again soon
HORRIBLE Seller! Engages in direct deception! I sold the defective goods and do not want to admit it. I am a buyer from Russia. On Amazon, was listed as a NEW item. As a company, Amazon can only work with such a seller. Amazon 100% will spoil its reputation if it continues to work with these kinds of sellers. Judging by the photos on the Google Maps, this company is engaged in buying up non-liquid goods and its further implementation. Accuses my transport company of fraud !!!A place for poor people in the USA !!!Sorry poor people in the US !
One of my favorite places
Nice please
Its a friendly silent auction full of opportunity
Awesomeness every week, your missing out if your not here on Thursdays
Cargo Largo is awesome. Great outlet store prices. I always find cool books here.
Great deals if youre willing to dig a little. Its a lot of fun to find treasures in your boxes!
Not a terrible place to work but they constantly make you work overtime due to lack of hiring. Bid sale provides great opportunities for bargins with some unique items.
I love cargo largo bid sales! We always find great deals at Cargo Largo!
I want to THANK Randy at the 35th St store for a great job and an life saver. We had a Golf Tournamentthis summer and he game through for the kids fund raiser. Thanks Randy you help make it a success.
A good place to shop when you need to get everything from a to z and do not want to pay too much.
I was quite surprised to see them listed as a not for profit organization. I recently purchased a rather expensive piece of equipment from their eBay store, and picked it up here on Front St. The office staff and warehouse help were rude, acting as if I was a nuisance for being there. I love their store n Independence, but the location here needs some customer service training very badly.
Love this place, you have to wait for the sales and make sure youre getting a good price. Dont just get something because you think its priced well.
I like this place over on Front Street Thursdays great deals just dont be it too low
Cool place. Better bring real money to play this game
Organization was mediocre. Instructions on the process was good. Although, for a place where you are your own customer service rep, the inventory was extremely convoluted. As one would expect.
There are always new finds and great deals to be had. If youre fine with a little damage on the packaging, youre can get a great deal.
Good place to get what you need.
Was fun
I have been buying from them for over 15 years and always good to deal with.
Got a great deal on an RV water heater!
Great environment. Tons of cool things to buy. Cheap prices.
Great products for wonderful pricesExcellent customer services.
Just dont trust the prices because in some places you can get better quality with better return policies with a lower cost Otherwise the employees are excellent
Quick in and out. Helpful people. Crazy place
Its crowded
Was a bit overwhelming, nicest people work there, first time there and Linda and I done great !!!
Tons of variety. You will find a lot here!
Auction ok. Just too many people bidding stupid!!
Warehouse has a bid sale on Thursday and e-bay online. Thats the good news. Bad news: the electrician was extremely disrespectful towards a woman customer. The carpet was tore and very dirty and he stated deal with it, its a warehouse.Same one has used racial and sexual slurs towards customers and employees behind their backs, and still has a job.Prices can and often are jacked up by employees on bid sale to make the price go up. Most of the stuff is junk, and remember, no warranty so if it breaks you wont get your money back. The vending machines prices was raised in the customer area, yet employees can buy soda for a cheap .65 cents. While the temperature is set at 65 degrees, heat rises. And the heaters are by the ceiling, so it is cold in the winter and complaining does nothing as the person responsible to check the temperature does not care, nor does management.A smile in your face place to shop. I wont shop there or the store. There is another reason as well. In 2010 Cargo Largo Warehouse/ Recovery Management Corporation paid 98,520.00 to the United States for multiple Hazardous, and Biohazardous illegal waste dumping. They also were making employees crush mercury vapor lamps in barrels. They care little of their employees lives then, and nothing has changed today. Still dumping and still do not care about the employees or the city of Kansas City Missouri as long as the Supervisors and CEOs make money to afford houses and cars like Lexus and Cadillac Escalades, etc.Today I was terminated after filing an in house injury report whereas I felt threatened and TARGETED because I am in Stand Up KC fight for 15 and a Union. I was cross trained for material handling and data entry, worked over a year here, yet immediately after the president and vice president terminated me saying my position was eliminated. I am also going into the Army, about 18 months out from Chaplain Corps.
Its very bg and a lot of fun
Its my work. Its a good place to find deals. I personally shop there if I can
Silent auction on some pretty cool stuff
Decent deals butvwatch what u bid on they tend to lose or switch things around
TJ Maxx reject stuff I didnt realize what I got myself into by bidding on their eBay auction. Do not pay to Inspect your item. Yes the shoes were what I bid on but they had been re glued on heel .
Too slow processing winning bidders through pickup process. Other than that good
Great deals here...cargo largo ebay.
I was out this way so I decided to stop in. Not real impressed. Quite a few lots and bidders everywhere. My experience is that consumers are purchasing the pallets of products which is making it hard for resellers.
I won a Weber Genesis grill from Cargo Largo on eBay. Picked it up at their KC warehouse location. WHAT A PIECE OF JUNK!! The eBay listingstated:Original packagingNew opened for picturesDamage that wasnt visible in any of the listing photos include cracked plastic trim on side burner, hole punched in the lid, dented side panel, kinks in propane hose and pin missing from lid hinge. The grill had obviously been abused. Made two trips to the warehouse and spent two hours of time for nothing but a hassle . In fairness to Cargo Largo, I did receive a refund and I learned a valuable lesson. I wont be back, EVER!
Great place to relive stress, almost as exciting as the casino.
Cargo Largo auctions are always fun. You never know what you may wind up with.
You never know what you will find..At a Great price!!!
You can get great stuff for very cheap here. You can also get broken stuff. Its a bargain Ive been winning
Used to have great deals but now process are too high
Fully stocked n good auction place
Great place to find a deal
Great place to find good deals. Be prepared to wait a couple of hours to pick up your stuff.
Interesting shopping. Call in orders for availability and pricing, pickup at security center.
Truck loading docks are for box vans and no longer 40in trailers. SO WHY TF DO YOU ORDER 53 FOOT LOADS TO YOUR DOCKS???TRUCKERS AVOID!
