Amazing place to live. Great location with easy access to the best Kansas City has to offer. The grounds are always kept clean and the apartments are large and spacious. Management is very proactive and easy to work with.

I have lived at West Hill since October, and I love living here. I love how open and airy the apartments feel and all the natural light they get. Management is also great! Shelbie worked with my roommate and I to make sure we got everything we wanted and was super helpful! Anytime I need anything she is always super helpful and very quick. Having her here as management has definitely improved my experience.

This is truly a terrible place to live. There are many things wrong with the property, and the worst by far is the smell. I wish I could photograph a smell but since I cannot, just imagine a rotten egg rolled in buring hair nestled in a dirty diaper, and we are approaching what will intermittently belch from the sinks and showers in the apartment.Next the appliances really dont work well. The dryer took three cycles to get anything dry. The dishwasher didnt clean dishes and I ended up doing them by hand.The parking spaces are in the parking lot are a joke. They are more narrow than any other place I have parked.They did not salt the concrete after a giant snowstorm and I almost fell on the sidewalk and my dog did fall. The line on their flyer about it being a timing issue is nonsense. There were numerous warnings about the coming storm, several days in advance.Most of all, this place is NOT worth the price. I have lived in actually luxury apartments in the past, which had substantial amenities, services, and high quality appliances and features. I thought that was what I was getting when I signed on to live at West hill. It became increasingly clear as I stayed there that the only thing luxury about the apartment complex is the price tag. Do yourself a favor and do not live here.

I love living at West Hill! Management is always available to communicate and service us.... our needs are always met promptly and effectively (as if we were the only tenants)! We are taken care of extremely well. This apartment is comfortable and welcoming. The facilities are always accessible and I love the private parking lot!!! Not having to worry about my cars safety is a big plus. My roommate and I are happy weve made it our home.

I have lived here for over 4 months, and have loved it. The units are great, parking is easy, and is full of cool people. The property manager, Shelbie, is extremely responsive and helpful - she is awesome. Every time I have needed something fixed or needed a package delivered to my unit, it is done that day. Strong recommend.

Honestly so happy my roommate and I chose to live here. I have lived in other apartments before, but have never had anyone nearly as responsive and accommodating as Shelbie and the rest of management here. Theyre more like friends than anything. Maintenance requests are answered the same day, packages are delivered straight to our doorstep, and they dont try to charge us for random hidden fees like a lot of the other complexes Ive lived in. Seriously couldnt have asked for a better home!!!

Ive never been happier than I have living at West Hill. The old elementary school remodeled into apartments...there is NOTHING else like it in Kansas City. It is also so quiet. I would recommend this place to anyone. Use my name as a referral!

The only redeeming quality about West Hill is its location. Other than that, it’s terribly overpriced for what it is and management is not great. The only amenity is a weight room, which more often than not, a machine is broken and takes weeks to be repaired. Management is unresponsive - they don’t respond to emails in a timely manner whatsoever, and close the office before 5 some days, making it impossible for anyone who works normal hours to contact them. Maintenance is just as bad. I had flooding in my apartment and had to have this “fixed” FOUR times before it actually did anything to stop a mild rain from flooding into my apartment. One time the water reached past my tv and couch, soaking many wires in water, and West Hill did nothing about it. Lastly, and probably worst of all, the building is terribly terribly built. I have doors that won’t close or pop open when another door is opened or closed. And you can hear EVERYTHING. I hear every single step, closed drawer, mumbled word, etc. that the people above AND below me make. It’s almost as if I’m in the apartment with them. It’s terrible. I would not recommend West Hill, and I can’t wait to move out of here this summer.
