I am coming up on my year since moving into to Piper and I dont think I can even express how grateful I am to have found this home! One of the hardest things about finding a place in KC that checked out all my boxes was finding a place that would accept my sweet 10 year old French Mastiff. Because of his size and breed most places dont give him a chance with their weight and breed restrictions. He is a gentle giant and has LOVED his home here at Piper. Whenever I take him for a walk he always pulls me right to the office because he knows his pal, Tiffany, will be there waiting for him with lots of treats! There are so many friends for him to play with here at Piper too. All the Piper dogs, and their humans of course, are truly the best! Anyone looking not only for a great new home for them but their beloved furry friends too, this is the place to be!! Mars will be eager to greet you when you come in!

My roommate and I are closing in on a year of living here at Piper Lofts and I have nothing but great things to say about my time here and this management team! For starters, this building is gorgeous and it was everything I wanted in a downtown living experience. This is such a fun area, being so close to the Crossroads streetcar stop, you can get to all of the fun restaurants and bars in minutes! The management team is very kind and responsive and does an excellent job making us tenants feel appreciated and part of the community. Ive made a list below of the things that I was looking for in an apartment/loft and found here at Piper:- Responsive maintenance team (and they are SO NICE!!)- Secure building and parking garage where I feel safe leaving my car and walking to and from the apartment- Reasonable/low utilities (I was amazed at how efficient this building is)- Friendly/engaging management team (they really are the best!!)- Beautiful, historic architecture with the best views of the best city (have I mentioned the rooftop pool?!)All in all, this has been a wonderful experience and I will always recommend Piper Lofts!

I moved to Piper Lofts (from the suburbs) three months ago..and so glad I did. Tiffany and staff are great. Always pleasant and have a smile to share. The building is very well maintained and secure. I havent spent time on the roof pool deck yet, but looking forward to enjoying that space this summer. I am still getting use to the HVAC system (its a bit loud), Im sure thats loft living in a beautiful, historic building. Enjoying the ability to walk to many venues on the weekends and evenings. The streetcar is a few blocks away. I highly recommend Piper Lofts if you are considering a loft in the City. Youll love the Historic building and area!

If you’re looking for an apartment with a rustic industrial feel, but modern features and all the amenities Piper is the perfect mix of it all. I was dead set on having a brick apartment but didn’t want to give up a pool, gym, city views, and good location. Piper offers it all. Tiffany was patient with me in finding the perfect unit for my needs ( I moved from out of state and was searching primarily virtually).. I have lived here for about 7 months now and it only gets better with time. Maintenance is extremely responsive to requests. Tiffany has been very personable. All of the staff are friendly and get to know their residents (and furry friends). We also have resident events often - I’ve been impressed with the way Piper Lofts has found ways to carry this on with socially distanced food deliveries, holiday prize giveaways and more (due to COVID). Lastly, security! This is a big one. There are many locks and key points to enter the building and get up to your specific unit. It’s made living here more than comfortable. Highly recommend

Leasing staff (Tiffany) and a last minute fill in from their Westhill property (Shelbie) were simply fabulous to work with at Piper Lofts! Welcoming, attetive and very professional I absolutely recommend contacting them when in search of housing in the competitive KC buyers market. Tiffany continued to follow up through my long search for the “right” place and I was able to make a very good rental decision with her extensive knowledge of the growing market. Highly Recommend!!

The apartments themselves look beautiful and in a great location! I reached out to piper lofts multiple times trying to look into options for my boyfriend and I moving To a new apartment. The first time I reached out, Tiffany asked what I was Looking for in an apartment. I explained my budget and other things we were looking for and I received no response after reaching out twice. I filled Out a new form on their website to ask for more information and Tiffany contacted me again talking about the piper lofts community and amenities. I once again said what I was Looking for and asked if they had any availability. She replied with one sentence saying they will have one opening for my move in time, and provided no other information. Well I went To the website and saw multiple openings for my time frame that says a lower rent than what she told me that was closer to our budget. I emailed Back asking about the other lofts available and again she was blunt and provided little information and did not answer my questions. You would think a leasing specialist who is supposed to assist people with finding their home would be more detailed and open to helping. Tiffany was not warm or welcoming at all and portrayed as not even wanting to help me at all. That is not what I am Looking for. In an apartment community.

Ive lived at Piper for about 7 months now and have absolutely loved it. The apartment layouts are great and appliances were recently updated. The staff (both leasing and maintenance) are always helpful and my service requests have been handled very quickly. Proximity to popular Crossroads restaurants and businesses, as well as First Fridays is fantastic, and its only a 5 minute walk to the streetcar stop. Rent is very comparable to all of the downtown apartments in the area and parking is available (uncovered, garage, and climate controlled garage). The gym is a bit small, but the rooftop pool is absolutely awesome during the summer months. I would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone looking to live downtown in a more industrial loft style apartment.

Piper Lofts is amazing! The staff and residents are top notch. The view and location couldnt be any better! You get all the perks of Downtown living with highway access, easy parking, and surprising quiet. My wife and I cant wait till summer when the pool opens up and more restaurants become walking distance.

We have lived in a couple of “luxury” loft/apartment buildings in KCMO, Piper Lifts is the first one to actually live up to the billing.Office personnel are great, John is maintenance is THE BEST! I have never felt like an imposition when requesting something.Despite being right in the best part of the Crossroads, it is surprisingly quiet.Wonderful amenities ( that mini mart Rules!)The views from the rooftop deck are unbeatable.Couldn’t be happier to live here!

I have lived at Piper Lofts for over one year and my experience has been amazing. The amenities, staff, location and units are exactly what I look for. The units are spacious, very modern, filled with natural light, and surprisingly quiet. The walkability with being located in the Crossroads is amazing and allows you to have easy access to downtown, restaurants, highways, etc. With all that said, the staff has been absolutely amazing, the maintenence response time has always been within 24 hours for completion, and the community in the building is very friendly.

I have been at Piper a little over a year and a half. I would not recommend to anyone. The management within the last 3 to 4 months is a disappointment. With COVID-19 the amenities have been closed for the majority of the year while you continue to be charged for them. Even if you have a month to month lease you have to provide a 60 day notice or basically 2 months rent.

It is a great building in a great location. Vanessa is extremely nice with a lot of energy! The tour with her was great and I do believe that this apartment is one of the best in KC.

I didnt end up leasing at Piper because I decided to move closer to work, but Vanessa Grayson (community manager) was top-notch. Super accommodating, informative, and she seemed to know each resident personally!

We love this place! Just finished our first year and renewed for another. Can’t beat the amazing city views and great apartment layout. We moved from the Plaza because our favorite bars and restaurants are around here. And not the riff raff and noise from directly downtown.

After starting off with a horrible experience trying to tour this place, the property manager and another leasing agent have made a big effort to apologize and fix the situation. Thank you for your professionalism!
