Don’t really have anything good or bad to say, I’m just trying to apply to get into my own place. But does anyone have any pictures of the floorplans for a one bedroom? Can’t seem to find any pictures. As well as some information on neighbors, the kind of people that live there.

I lived here for 4 yrs and was added to the list of people that wanted a first floor Apt my 3rd year. The office staff told me I had to call and remind them that I wanted one and all the while they were renting them out to the general public. I ended up having to move away from my home. After doing so they slapped me with a bill for replacement of the carpet when it needed done so from normal wear and tear, from the managers own words. I had several friends who had moved out who were charged for complete carpet replacement after only being there a couple of years and couldnt believe Clay Terraces practices or how they even had gotten away with doing so. Though since my son had stained his in his room they charged me for complete replacement of the bill. Ever since corporate mngt came in and fired the entire staff, the office staff was rude, untrustworthy and dishonest.

Kloe Harrison has been a great fit at Clay Terrace!!! She answers questions, treats people with respect and always asks if there is anything else she or the staff can do for us, the renters!!

I dont live here, but Ive called and whoever Chloe is thats answering the phones has the worst customer service skills ever. She answers the phone with a tone that sounds like shes dead inside and hates her job. Then she doesnt really bother to even give actual information. I asked if there was a waiting list she said no its first come first serve. Then instead of going into more detail. I had to ask her when some will be available and her answer was when we get a 30 day notice.Like, what good does that information do me? I dont know when you get a 30 day notice. Just say if some are open or not. She was just so passive aggressive and rude.

Honestly after reading all of these bad reviews I am shocked.... we have had nothing but a great time since living here. We have been here for 2 years now and have never had any issues. The staff always helps us ASAP when we have any sort of issue. For example, our AC went out in the middle of summer and they brought an incredible portable unit that cooled our entire house within an hour.. then they fixed our AC ASAP. As another example, we needed a new shower head because the pressure on the one we had wasn’t working very well. Maintenance came and replaced it the same day I called about it being an issue. They have been very kind and very helpful with every question I’ve asked. We have NOT had any flooding and we are in a bottom floor apartment.I can’t even think of a single bad thing that I could say about this place. Its been perfect for my little family and we are very grateful to have gotten to live here.

Whoever Chloe is was not helpful at all . I called and asked about availability and she said they didn’t have any, so as I asked what’s the process to get put on the waiting list and she said it wasn’t one ... thought about giving this place a try but I guess not .

Im giving them a 3 star because I’m trying to figure out what’s going on here? I’m in the process of looking for my first apt in my budget but after reading these reviews I am terrified!!!!! Needles to say I definitely don’t need any flooding when it rains or a office staff with lack of communication.

I do not recommend this place. I lived there for 3 yrs and in that time my apartment flooded AT LEAST 7-10 times, every spring and fall when it would rain heavily I dreaded it bc I knew our lives would yet again be flipped upside down. You basically have to move furniture off the carpet and stack things wherever they’ll fit and leave it like that for days waiting for the carpet to dry so the company can put a new pad underneath. I literally had my huge dresser in my kitchen for over a week during one of the times because it was the only dry place to put it. They won’t actually replace the carpet that gets wet and ruined from furniture that gets wet and stains the floor. They don’t care and want to make it simply “live-able” and after yrs of repeated floods, I finally saved enough to leave this place and buy a house. Then they sent me a bill for $965. to replace the carpet. I literally left the apartment sparkling, patched every nail hole, mopped, the works as if it were my own home bc that’s how I’d want someone to leave. They never paid or refunded me a dime for the additional electric billing I’d get bc I’d have to run dehumidifiers and industrial fans for days to dry the walls and carpet out. The carpet tacking had black mold on it. It would flood from the back master bedroom through the wall into the kids room...through the dining and living room into the hall and they didn’t care. If you move into an apartment on the first floor at the end of a building strip with a view of the basketball court at Wild Oaks and you experience floods please contact me if you need me to vouche for you when they try to charge you for the cost of carpet replacement. I’m happy to be a voice for you. My elderly neighbors told me the apartment had flooded many times before I moved in and so did the service guys with the water extraction company every time I’d have them in. It was NEVER disclosed to me that the apartment was well known for flooding during heavy rain otherwise I never would’ve moved in there. The apartment has drains in the back and front patio! This wasn’t there when I moved in and was put in sometime during my second yr there but does nothing for you during a heavy rain. Beware!!I posted the photos from the last month we were there in May...as you can see the water builds up and needs somewhere to go and it comes right inside. This happens at both the front and back of the apartment. I got so fast at moving furniture and pulling the carpet and padding back to try and fight the water coming in and save myself the misery of not have a home for my 3 kids and I for at least a week. This was a constant nightmare. I tried calling the manager and she was “too busy” to talk to me today and she had the receptionist talking to me. She didn’t even know the apartment had flooded the entire unit many times and thought it was just a small area in the front. Unacceptable. The damage to sheet rock and mold you could see on the tacking strip. I have videos of flood water and pictures. I’m happy to show anyone who wants to see what this place has to offer.

I have lived here since January of 2016, its been great as far as apartments go...as long as I dont have any issues or need to call the office. However, I do have issues such as flooding in my 1st floor apartment EVERY TIME it rains hard....The first year they put drains in the patios...after that, there has been zero attempt to solve the flooding problem. The employees from carpet water extraction company who come to remove the padding and water have informed me this apartment has been flooding like this for years and years! This was not disclosed to me when I leased it in the beginning. There has been so many employees go through the office during our time here and none of them have tried to get my kids and I into another apartment, despite my desire to do so. And theyre very RUDE and uncaring. They dont call you back or answer the phone. My kids dont want to switch school and I cant afford anywhere else within the school boundaries. Liberty has become way too expensive to live here, I feel stuck.I have had my rent raised every year....come January my rent will be increased by $30. more than when I moved in, which would be fine if improvements to my apartment to FIX this issue had been done.Additionally, getting a call back from the office is nearly out of the question but let me tell you if youre one day late for rent they have a note on your door!My apartment has flooded at least 10 times in that timeframe. Its a huge mess and a lot of work to move furniture in such a small space to get to carpet and padding. Im exhausted and fed up. I just want others to be aware of the problems I have faced with this place and to be warned.

Very unprofessional staff. They can’t do math to save their life when asked how they came up with the fact that you make more than double what you make every single year. When you offer to show them tax documents from past years they say it doesn’t matter. They told me I had the apartment and all was good then a week later I got denied because they stated they I made way too much. Well they also said that my landlord didn’t get back in touch with them but my landlords secretary called me personally to let me know she had call 2 times left 2 voicemails then someone in the office had called them back but they said they never heard back. They told me I needed to turn in my 60 day notice at my current place in order to move in so I did. Now me and my 2 kids have to rush around to find a new place to move too. The people they have working here are rude and have no clue how to do anything but get people to give a 60 day notice to current place, be rude and deny people because they can’t do math!!

I applied with the fee over a month and a half ago. Not only do they never answer the phone but I have been trying to get in here since April. Its been over a month that I gave them additional paperwork they needed now. 3 weeks after telling me they would have a decision in 3 days and my current landlords reference they are telling me they need a copy.of my 20 year old divorce decree because of my son. This is after I sent them my custody agreement. This place is the most unprofessional place I have encountered

This place is a mess. First off, they dont answer their phones at all, it was a month long process we had to go up there every time and we were very persistent, they acted like it was very easy to get into the apartment . My boyfriend and I were told several times that we had a apartment and it was ours and that we didnt have to do anything and they would call us when it was ready after they flipped it . Weeks went by no call and no answer. we went up there again and they told us that they would give us a call in the morning. They finally gave us a call and they told us that we were denied. We were very confused at this point because we were told we had the apartment.

Horrible. Everything isn’t what it seems! I agree with the first young lady with flooding in her lower level apartment. After going back and forth with this company who never answered the phone said only two ppl worked there so they could only do so much, they decided to charge me carpet installation for the whole unit as well as renovations to my storage unit way after I moved out! I lived here for about 3-4 years with no pets and kept my place very tidy. Long story short, I asked for the work orders of drains being placed on the back patio because they weren’t there during my stay since I was being charged for water damage etc, I was told after a year of trying to recover info that my file was in the attic, then it became my file had been destroyed. However, it is my understanding a resident’s file is to be kept at least 3 years. Not only that, we were forced to stay elsewhere for at least 2 months while our mold infested apartment be totally redone, which was a favor to us. 🙄 never were we late on rent or had any issues on a resider’s end. They charged me $1400+ and began to ruin my credit. I recommend not living here bc one you move out you better be ready to pay some big bucks. It’s really sad bc this place has an income restriction on it, so they are fully aware that people can’t afford astronomical charges like this. Give me a break...rent is 500+ and you pull fees out your____! Find another place, not here! I am aware of other former residents dealing with this very same issue. However, legal action is being taken! Karma isn’t pretty!
