So Ive since moved out but I wanted to really recommend this place. The homes are beautiful. Theyre really spacious, quiet neighborhood, and Ms. Rikisha was very helpful. I seriously never had a single serious problem with the apartment.
My family and I were looking for a place for temporary housing. Our situation no longer required temporary housing for the initial time anticipated. Although we did not lease with Staley Crossing Townhomes, I did want to comment on our experience with Leasing Agent - Adut. From the moment, we reached out for inquiry, Adut was immediately responsive, professional, warm, and ever so helpful in accommodating our future needs. Not only did Adut provide access to tour various rental sizes, she creatively collaborated with us on living space and lifestyle. For some reason, in this type of market, customer service is not prioritized or consistent. My experience with Adut is that she is consistent in bringing forth integrity and kindness in all of her client communications.
I moved into my unit October 2018. I loved being a resident the first year despite being told we would have access to the fitness facility at Steeplechase. A month into my lease, I was told that they were not able to renew the contract to allow Staley residents to use the Steeplechase facility but they were working on building a community center directly behind the leasing office. Ive been in my unit almost 3 years and that has not happened. Also during my first year, snow removal included removing snow from the driveway and the walkway in front of the door. After new management took over, that stopped. Ive had a rent increase each year. Ive seen no significant changes to justify a rent increase....especially in the midst of a pandemic. Ive reached out to the leasing office and the main office downtown. I am VERY dissatisfied. Each year comes a new disappoint and Ive had enough, therefore, Im actively seeking another place to live.
MAINTENCE IS FRIENDLY AS WELL AS OFFICE. ALWAYS ARE ONTOP OF EVERYTHING...
It have been a week i m calling to do an appointment with you guys and nobody answer. I put this comment as a last try maybe someone answering me
Jensen was very pleasant and helpful. He and Jack loaded our stuff quickly and efficiently. Jensen’s customer service is first class.
Management is horrible. I lived here for 3 years and its been a nightmare. They promised their residents a pool and never seen it. Currently still waiting going on 60 days now that I still have not heard or seen my statement for move out. Poor Management.
We are just moving in tomorrow. I have to give an outstanding review to Simplifyy Communities! Stephanie went above and beyond to assist my every decision. She texted me to provide helpful links and gave instant updates on the progress of our application. Extremely satisfied with this company!!
We are so lucky to have come across Staley Crossing Townhomes. The townhomes are roomy and spacious and all of the appliances are brand new. The people in our neighborhood are just as nice as our space... everyone is super friendly and fun to be around. The leasing agents, Sunny and Kelsey are also extremely helpful and if we ever have any issues, they are resolved immediately thanks to those two! We love everything about this place!
We lived here for about a year during construction of our home. The unit was new and pretty but very small living space and kitchen. The worst part was the utilities. It was 3 levels and the utilities were double+ our home that was at least twice the square footage. There were also things that indicated to us it was poorly built or built fast. There were no thresholds over the carpet to tile transitions, so you’d step on carpet tacs often. The stair railings weren’t in the studs and many other little things. When we left, we knew that there would need to be carpet cleaning. They chose to replace the entire unit which I think was unnecessary but whatever. The bad part about that was, we never received the original bill for the “damages”. We had given our permanent address, they had our phone numbers and emails. The first we heard of the bill was from a collection agency!
Great community! With quick response to maintenance requests & awesome customer service! Love it here!
I was impressed with the units and the price is much lower then surrounding apartments. The amenities at their apartments next door are awesome! Only issues is they didnt have any units, but they referred me to a few other places to look at.
Been looking into transferring out in the area and found this nice community. Being from Cali not sure what to expect, but the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful during our visit. The places are nicely put together and reasonably priced as well.
Ive rented from 5 different companies for the past 8 years. This has been the WORST experience.Staley Crossing has no system in place, their employees do not keep logs for whats required of them. They did not give us credit for our full deposit, they choose to replace the entire unit with carpet when only one spot needed CLEANING (we have the document showing you thats all that was needed), they sent it to collections without noticing us. They have no proof that their letter was mailed and better yet the letter they say they mailed was addressed to the place we moved out of a month after we moved out. They had both of our cell phone numbers, emails, emergency contacts info too.Not only that when we tried to talk about the issue when we finally figured out there was something going on (5month later) they wont respond to calls or emails.I would move in with family or friends before renting from them! There are a ton of places to rent choose anywhere else, youll thank yourself later. Also, a Side note: The installation was not properly installed. In the winter we had mice, they did not address it for over a week!!! We ended up fixing the installation problem ourselves and just paying out of pocket to solve the problem, because living with mice wasn’t something we were prepared to do
We moved into Staley Crossing a while ago during some of the new construction that was going on. It was a little gem that we stumbled upon and we have had a great experience so far. The price for the size floor plan you get is the best deal in the area. Now that the construction is done it looks more like a neighborhood. Overall we are happy that we chose this place.
Ive only lived here since the summer of 2018, but I can tell you I plan to live here for lives to come. Ive moved at least once a year for the last 8 years. So its amazing to find a place like this in the northland. Beats living in an apartment complex and it beats the upkeep of a home.
Toured with a manager that acted like we were beneath her and couldnt afford the place, didnt know we needed to come dressed up to apartment shop. I would recommend staying away from this snobby place. Place is ideal if we would have been treated better.
First the townhomes themselves... Some aspects are really nice, like the cabinets and drawers, then some parts are not so great. The walls are paper thin. The drywall is literally cardboard thin. The paint is matte, and collects fingerprints and makes marks everywhere. The worst part, is the poor air flow and insulation. Heating and cooling the 3 floor townhome will be expensive. Power bills are very high, the water bills have been way too much. Management has been alright. I am not even sure who is the manager right now however. Can get a slow response to emails and issues. The only bright side is maintenance, Rex is excellent.
Stanley crossing is a great place to live. Great customer service, the townhouses are beautiful and incredibly designed.
I can’t say enough about how well I was treated when I was trying to find a townhouse for my family. Management went above and beyond to find something for us. The townhouses are super nice and in a great location too.
Moving into Staley was a great way to start the year! Their awesome staff made moving in a wonderful and smooth experience, I’m looking forward to enjoying my time here!
Staley staff were very helpful with the moving process, I was very pleased with the house as it was well maintained by their employees and I haven’t had any issues at all. Great place if you’re looking to rent.
Amazing vacation home, I moved here one summer thinking I’d only be here a few months but can’t find myself leaving any time soon
Easy access to highway, great location! Like the floorplans of the three bedrooms!
This place is amazing. My sister just moved in and now Im looking into living here too!!!
I was surprised on how cheap the homes were when I arrived, I didn’t think I’d be able to pay for a home like this on my salary but wow I was surprised!
I can’t express myself when I say how happy I am to find such an amazing townhome so close to places I need to be at such as my job. The price is a lot lower then the homes around it and there is enough space if I ever wanna get myself settled with a family
We have been renting for 2 months. Poor quality management and no service skills whatsoever. The townhomes are new so you would think you would not have any problem. In the past 2 months, here are some of the issues we have had: leak from the kitchen sink, leak from the fridge, leak from the 1st floor bathroom, garage door not working, etc. It took maintenance about a month to fix the fridge. But this is only the bad. We realize now that we’d love to deal with just a leaking sink…Here comes the ugly: our electric bill was $185 for the first 14 days, 2nd bill was $242. I called KCPL who sent an agent to check the meter right away. Everything works fine on their end. Contacted management who acknowledged the issue and said they were aware the electric bills were high in this specific unit and it is because of the heater. Management never made us aware of the issue when we signed the lease and is now refusing to do anything about it. Like someone else mentioned, I also had 4 bulbs burn out within the first 3 weeks of moving in (again, keep mind the unit is fairly new and having been a homeowner, I know how long it takes before you get to replace a bulb). KCPL did mention that if there was an electrical problem inside the unit, it will cause the bulbs to burn out very quickly as well as make any appliance burn more electricity than necessary! We keep our thermostat at 68 to keep cost down and we are freezing on the first floor...the 2nd floor is a sauna. The good? Nice granite countertops.
My husband and I were relocating from California and had an appointment for a showing at Staley Crossing during our only house hunting weekend in KC. Our flight in was delayed and we had to reschedule but thankfully the leasing agent, Ciera, made herself available the next day. The leasing office was insanely busy the day we ultimately did our tour but Ciera kept right in step, treating every customer with kindness, while also managing our needs. We wrapped up our whirlwind trip knowing we had found our next home at Staley. The Staley Crossing townhomes are spacious, aesthetically pleasing, and the leasing staff have been really engaged throughout the process. With such a big move there are bound to be some hiccups but Ciera and Sunny made it their mission to ensure we were happy.Weve been here a few nights now and have found the neighborhood to be quiet, and so convenient to everything we need. There are coffee shops, grocery stores, a library, restaurants and shopping all within a 5 to 7 min drive!
Great location in the Northland! Cant wait to move in and call it Home!
Really well kept and good management
Beautiful and affordable living.
Wasnt impressed, small living room and no basement
My experience with them has been ok
Love it so far

Management is terrible
Grass maintenance is horrible, lots of bugs, one issue ...
