The property manager Tracey has been working hard to make this place better and better each month. They have been enforcing security around the complex making it a safe place to live and all the renovations and care put into the complex shows how well it is being managed. My wife and I are very happy with the management and our apartment. The units here are also very spacious for them being 2 bedroom apartments.

Honestly in love with my new property manager Tracey! I had a couple issues with the apartment when we moved in. I went to the office and told her my concerns and within the week everything was taken care of and the apartment is now perfect. She was so sweet, understanding and genuinely cared about making sure the apartment what I was looking for and I was happy. If it was anyone else I don’t think I would have been taken care of so well or been so comfortable telling my worries too. I highly recommend stopping in and talking with Tracey she is the best!! Extremely excited about my new home and can’t wait to start my family here!

Moved in here with lots of doubt because of the poor reviews here but I have been here about 4 months and I LOVE it here!! its very quiet, maintenance and managers are working diligently daily to make this a better place to live and keeping it clean and it shows. Not sure about other buildings but there are no roaches in mine. Thanks for all your hard work!

I really like the Landlord Tracey. Shes really nice and compassionate. Overall, I really like living here. Extremely low crime, Nice Apts, Well kept grounds.

I recommend not to rent here the office manager is very rude. I asked them to communicate better with their tenants and how they could do so and the response I got was that’s not what they do. Basically They do not care or work with tenants they just argue them down and also they still have not got the bug situation under control. This is the new office manager and she is no different from the last one.

I dont even have enough room to even go into detail about this place. I tried, it said I exceeded the amount of characters. I do not reccomend.

WORST APARTMENT EVER!!! The property management is hardly in the office to answer questions, they never answer the phone, and they dont care about the tenants. This was all before Covid-19. It takes days to fix property problems which included: water leaking, bugs, loss of power, NO HOT WATER, broken washer machines, and poor lighting. They failed the city inspection twice!!! Emergency maintenance does not answer the phone. Aspen Ridge Apartments is shady and I would not recommend ever living here.

DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. They dont fix anything and the only time they will fix something is when they take you too court. They dont care about anything going on in your unit.my heat was out for a month and they didnt wanna fix it till they took me too court. I had mold in my apartment they didnt want to take care of the issue till they took me too court.

Dont even think about renting here. Dont do it. I promise youll regret it. Apartments are nasty and maintenance is terrible. They will lie and cheat you into a lease. Terrible ethics and staff. Cockroaches everywhere and they dont properly take care of them. As they say in the reviews we handle our own pest control. They are not knowledgeable about how to properly handle pests.

Worst apartment complex ever Tracey is very dude! And the regional manager is rude as well she says and does what she wants I don’t recommend anybody live here!!!! They always send people bills after they move out! No matter what your apartment can be in perfect condition and they will still send you a bill they are money hungry and don’t care to fix nothing in those apartments, the have bugs, mold, and most of the doors can unlock using any key I used a key from my moms old house and it unlocked my door so be careful with that !!! I hate this place never again!

For as many apartments that they have they should really have more than 10 spaces for visitors to park in the complete back of the complex. There is more than enough space to park other places without affecting resident parking. They are basically saying no visitors welcome since your options once those 10 spots are taken, are park in resident parking and get towed by the extremely unprofessional thieving Grahams Towing, or park in the road and get a ticket plus side swiped by the idiots driving on the horrible pothole filled road, and youd probably towed there, too.

The apartments has bugs really bad in them they have roaches, the hallways always smell like weed, the walls are paper thin. They have unsanitary laundry rooms which either the washer or dryer is always broken most of the neighbors are loud as hell I wouldn’t recommend anybody to move there DON’T DO IT...The reason they have people write reviews is to inform them of a place trust me I usually don’t write reviews but I wouldn’t recommend this place to no one they switch up management a lot I hated living there..

I loved this place i do miss steve. He was awsome and sweet. And a hard worker.He fixed a lot at my housei miss liveing. There so much i made a lot of friends and.all the staff there was nice.

I have lived here for about three months and it is by far the best place I have lived. The office management is super friendly and very helpful along with the maintenance crew who usually comes immediately and does the job right the first time. Would definitely recomend living here!!

This is the worst living experience I have ever had. My apartment is infested with bugs and The office ladies always say “we are working to fix the problem” the laundry has been down for over a week and there was no plans to compensate anyone. There has been over 6 maintenance requests put in and I haven’t seen a maintenance man in over 2 months. There are constantly police banging on doors and fights constantly breaking out. The pool is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. It has dirty diapers just laying about. 0/10 would not recommend. It’s too expensive for what you are receiving. They have even responded to this post stating that we have talked on the phone and I have never in my entire stay at aspen ridge received a call from the complex, even when promised one.

Katelyn the office manager was great. She was very helpful and prompt when issues occurred. Overall she knows the property and keeps things clean and in order around the property

The place looks great from the outside it even looks great on the inside but what you might not know what first glance is that theres cockroaches there. And these pre-assigned roommates dont pay rent not very pleasant. But I will say the pool is nice and maybe theyve exterminated since I was there. But just keep your eye out and definitely make sure you dont see any signs of any unwanted Critters.

I have had nothing but positive experiences here. I love it. Its quiet and my apartment faces the trees (very serene). Maintaince has been very kind and efficient! (Huge shout out to Mike!) Not to mention how sweet, helpful and understanding Caitlin is! (I hope I spelled it right) thank you so much!

The apartments have potential if a company would stay longer than a few years to actually put some money into the place. However the current owners are worthless, management doesn’t keep their word and the owner of the company (mgm management) can’t even bother to communicate with their tenants when their regional manager is equally as worthless as their property manager. Don’t waste your time living here, they’ll find a way to screw you over. They’ll lose the key to your apartment that maintenance is supposed to have, and they’ll lose your move in checklist then try to make you pay for their new renovations when you decide to move out. Don’t waste your money here, you will be scammed, spend it somewhere that’s actually worth the cost of rent. I hope someone takes the time to sue this place because they’re such a joke and should be put out of business.

I DO NOT LIVE HERE CURRENTLY: Im experiencing alot of set backs finding a place I want to call home but the girls in this office are spectacular. I didnt ask all the questions i was suppose to on my end, not theirs, and wasnt particularly happy with the apartment I put my deposit on and they made it right by not only refunding me but making my experience working with them such a ppleasure..i emailed Caitlyn alot and she never failed but to give me every last detail she could think of. I am still very interested in this apartment complex as i dont live here yet but just from my experience with the leasing office I think they deserve 5 stars .

The card machine we used to wash out clothes has been broken for who knows how long. I called to see when it would be replaced or fixed and was told Tues of last week. I called to check on Wednesday/Thursday and found out it would Friday for sure. Oh they are going to replace it blah blah. Ok so on Sunday I go and load my card and guess what THE F#@$ING MACHINE IS STILL BROKEN!!!! I CANT WASH CLOTHES DRY OR ANYTHING. AND NO I SHOULDNT HAVE GO TO DANFORD CREEK TO LOAD MY CARD WHEN MY COMPLEX SHOULD HAVE ONE ON SITE THAT WORKS!!!! Im over things not getting fix when they say they would do it. The security doors have been broken over two years so why should I expect the card machine to work!!!!

Aspen Ridge is a nice apartment complex,but the maintenance guys needs to be more responsible to fix stuff around here.1. security doors are broken and the buzzers are broken.2 My light needs to be fixed and also need new blinds and they need to fix my light in the hallway as well.They always making excuses why they cant come to your apartment and always lying to you.I dont trust them to well anymore and I am hoping they come soon.This isnt fair to us.I pay 785 a month for rent and thats tremendous a lot of money coming out of my packet

Cockroaches. The office is literally never open even when it says theyre supposed to be open. Impossible to pick up mail. This place is a living hell.

I recommend looking SOMEWHERE ELSE. This place is very shady to the maximum. The place was under new management every so often. Moving in they were not clear about anything the old management told us car ports were free..a couple months later new management comes in...3 months later they bill for me 3 months worth of carport use because they charge for car port use since new management came in but never let any of the tenants be aware of it when they took over. I complained and told them the old management told me it was free, they wouldnt listen to me and wanted to collect $90 for all 3 months asap. During my stay their amenity that was highly talked about before I moved in was their pool. IT NEVER OPENED EVER because it was always under construction. Now, I dont know if everybody knows this but we all pay extra in our rent for that specific amenity that they never opened. After that I have had enough of the place. Towards the end of my lease THEY CHANGED MANAGEMENT AGAIN. Moving out my boyfriend and I deep cleaned the whole place. I have been in 4 apartments Aspen was my 5th apartment all the apartments I resided gave me my security deposit with only $30-50 taken out, so I basically am a pro in cleaning out apartments when moving out. But ASPEN RIDGE CHARGED ME over A THOUSAND DOLLARS BECAUSE THEY REMODELED my apartment...ripped off all the carpet, remodeled the bathroom and CHARGED ME FOR THEIR REMODELING!! THEY CHARGED ME FOR REMODELING THE APARTMENT I RESIDED IN!!! I was in deep shock, how can that even be legal! I complained, I went all the way to the top to complain and the woman I talked to, told me if I did not pay it would go to collections. I did not want my credit to be messed with since I was renting a house. Needless to say I never will ever recommend this place to anyone but to only warn people about their scams.

I moved in at the beginning of May, so far no issues. The office ladies were very helpful, and the maintenance guy seemed really nice.

Def look somewhere else this place keeps changing management. Very shady. Lots of weed smoke in the buildings, Dirty hallways I have to clean mines. The maintenance is slower around here. The community has went down alot. I would def say read reviews before you move just a warning

Background: I am a young professional who moved to kalamazoo straight from college(MSU) and am working my first “real” job. I have only been living here for 3 months and college students have not come back from summer break yet. I live by myself in a 1 bedroom 3rd floor apartment with a fireplace.Grounds: The outdoor space could be better kept but it is not bad. They have tried to lay new grass and it had a hard time growing since it has been so hot. Most of the area is dry, a mix of dirt and grass. For the most part it is well kept, there is not trash all over or anything. There are numerous dumpsters around for convenient trash disposal.Interior: They have two different styles of buildings, old brick and newer gray buildings. I live in the newer one. My apartment is laminate hardwood throughout and carpet in the bedroom. As I mentioned the place is still rather old and the bathroom could use some updating (especially the tub) but everything works just fine. The stove is electric and there is a dishwasher. I pay for all of my utilities.Community: Since most of the college students are not back from summer break I can not truly say how many there will be. But as of right now the community mostly consists of families and single working people. There are a number of kids playing outside all the time but the nights are quiet. Most people quiet down as it gets past nine o’ clock. There is an occasional dog barking but nothing too crazy.Dogs: They only allow dogs that are under 35lb but I have two emotional support dogs that live here with me. The staff is amazing with they, they always give them tons of affection when they see us.Maintenance: They maintenance crews here are very good and hard working. They do next day/same day repairs when they can. They are extremely friendly (even helping me carry a heavy package to my apartment) and good at their jobs. They even flip this apartment for me in under a week from the move out of the previous tenet. This included ripping up the carpet and putting down the linoleum, which I had requested off had to the management. I really love these guys!Management: So far the management has been great. They call be before letting anyone into my place, are extremely nice, diligent workers and easy to work with.Overall, I quite like living here. It is a decent affordable for a young professional to be living.

Honestly this place is kinda my purgatory lol. The apartment itself is lovely but between the parking situation (EVERYONE double parks, or visitors park in resident spots so there’s NEVER parking and you have no choice but to park on the street and get ticketed) and the fact that there is DEAD ANIMALS and MONTH OLD FOOD in the PUBLIC laundry room that has been there FOR A MONTH and no one has picked it up is insane. I cant believe this place hasn’t been shut down or something. The security doors are ALL broken, the one in the front of my building doesn’t even close. It swings open all the time which is how animals are getting in. I saw a raccoon in the hallway while taking my dog out in the middle of the night. I was hoping the raccoon would eat the food on the floor in the laundry room but I guess some things are even too disgusting for the raccoons. I’ve talked to the office and nothing has changed. I won’t be living here again next year and if you’re looking into this complex, look somewhere else. Not worth it.

Well I have lived in this complex two different times, seen 4 or 5 management companies and this last experience has by far been the worst. I have kept quite, clean, and never missed or even been a day late on a rent payment. A maintenance man flooded my unit and left drug paraphernalia in my unit and use my own towels to clean it up, yes he was fired but I was never compensated for what I had to do to clean my own unit. My secured door to the building remained broken and unlocked for over half the time I lived there. It was unpleasant from about one month after I moved in when mgmt companies changed. It really is sad how they treat you at this place. If someone else owned and actually took care of the problems that came up it would probably be a great place to live but wow. Im blown away.

This place is full of drug activity. The people here all smoke weed and Jordan Kroll is always trying to sell it. They even grow in my building.

Three words: dont live here. There were problems with weed, an smoke coming into our apartment on the third floor. Cops were back there quite often. It is not a safe place to raise a family.
