Well I went waited a while. Then I got my nails done. And it was a disaster the next day my nails had food stuck between my nail an the acrylic nail some of my nails were not covered end to end. Some were so thick not filed down correctly. They look the next day like I had them for a week. Also theres alot of bubbles in the acrylic my nails look like theres dirt spects in my clean nails. And the tips were left with a thick overlap

Do not waste your time coming here. One of the lady’s working there that was doing a gel tip manicure dug her nail into mine and cut me then I was bleeding. You shouldn’t be using your finger nail to dig under my nail. She didn’t clean under my nails as part of manicure process and left glue/gel polish all around my skin. She was so sloppy!!! You go to a nail salon to feel pampered not paranoid whether the place is sanitary or not. I am never coming back here.I’m not sure why this place has good reviews when the prices are pretty standard with extremely mediocre service. Trust me don’t come here. I can tell the place is not clean. I should’ve walked out right away.

I got my nails done with Kathy. She is amazing, did it very patiently and with perfection. I am impressed by her work.

Ended up waiting for over an hour and a half just to have my nail “stylist” rush me in and out in 10 minutes. Half the time when filing, she didn’t even look at me and filed the back of my hand. There was nail polish on my skin, unfinished nails, and due to old polish, my nails turned out pretty bubbly. Don’t come here if you want quality but do come here if you need a “quick” color.

Super sweet people....but I went in for a gel mani and instead of soaking my nails he immediately went to the electric file. I almost thought he was going to put acrylic on my nails. Totally ruined my nails, they are now paper thin....he only soaked them after I asked what he was doing. Said that his way was better.......but I guess they are just trying to meet a quota and was concerned with how long I was in there. ( they were quick too, which I loved..thats it though.)Also make sure they have the exact color you want BEFORE they start to work on your nails.You are also only going to pay $25. But I wont be returning, I would rather pay an additional $10 for much better quality than go there.Respectfully.

I am new to the neighborhood and was looking for a decent nail salon. Everywhere seems overpriced for rushed work. I can across sunrise nails and decided to give them a shot. I must say Amy did a very good job with my nails. I had an injured nail that hurt a lot and Amy was very gentle when working in that nail, I felt no pain. She took her time and listened to what I wanted. I will definitely keep going back to Amy and recommend this place.u

So I went to get my nails done for the third time in this nail salon the second time I went it was rushed, bad, the color was peeling off by when I got into the shower, didnt even take her time, and they were for graduation pictures it looked so bad for 20 dollars. The third time I went which was yesterday the guy there was nice but horrible nail polish and today was a really important event and I paid 15 for a regular manicure absolutely do not recommend, this place doesnt do your nails well. Waste of your money.

Highly recommended. I’m was touring New Jersey and getting ready for a date. They work fast and these reviews are NOT to be taken lightly. I reviewed at least 7 places before catching this one. Very quiet atmosphere, they work to satisfy you and they’re friendly.

Ive gotten my nails done at a lot of different salons, and Sunrise Nails is by far one of the best salons Ive gone to.Everyone takes their time and doesnt rush you even though it can get super busy. Also, this is the first place Ive gone to that actually makes sure all your nails are even (without you having to ask!). The salon is lively and definitely knows how to treat their customers.

Gel polish on a full set streaky, acrylic is uneven, i had to tell her where to fill in more and file down because it was all over the place. I will never go back such a waste of money

Been going to this place religiously for years now and have never had one problem at all! My acrylics are on point, my pedicures are always amazing and relaxing and eyebrows are always arched perfectly 😁 if is good first time going and want to know who the best nail techs are to go to? Heres mine as follows-Acrylic tips- #1 is Kelvin he does such a phenomenal job always remembers my name even when I havent gone in a year he still remembers me and always keeps a conversation and if he isnt available my only other choice is Amy shes always cheerful and sweet and also can hold a conversation as well...Eye brows- I always have Amy do them she always does them exactly how I askPedicures- I have cynthia do my pedicures she does them so good! Its relaxing and my feet in the end are in less pain cause my ingrown nails are gone, dead skin all gone and for nails all nice and clean. Basically they always got my feet on point...To sum it up definitely try them out, all the staff there is amazing I just prefer who I prefer and there prices are very reasonable....

If you want a great design at a reasonable price Tina is the person you should go to. Although be prepared to wait forever when you go as its always packed. they do great nails. Ive been going there for about a year now and the only complaint i have is the wait time. They always do your nails exactly how you ask them to. Im not sure what the previous person is talking about because they have always redone my nails no questions asked even if i come back the next day because I messed it up.

They were so friendly and nice AND CHEAP. I had gotten tips at a different salon and hated them. I came here to see if they could fix them and they took their time making sure they were exactly how I wanted. Extremely friendly as well.

I go here when I want to get my nails done and not travel too far. The staff are friendly, however when I get a gel manicure it doesnt last very long. Pedicures are relaxing but dont go when its packed. You wont get the service you expect.

I went to get a gel manicure and pedicure done. My pedicure was great, however, my manicure was done horribly. Both were done by different people. The nail polish on my fingers started peeling off after three days. They have really good prices, but it just isnt worth it.

I called and made an appointment, came in and still had to wait 30 minutes .... then the material they used for my gel fill was terrible! The gel and paint It was peeling within days and the nails were cracking!!! So terrible do not go here.

Sunrise Nail is one of the best nail Salon in Jersey City. Everyone takes their time when servicing you, it doesnt matter what how crowded they are they give you the same amount of time and that means alot to me as a customer to never feel rush.

Waste of money! I will never go back there! I went their my first time to get a gel fill in and the gel was peeling off within 2 hours of getting my nails done! Then I went to fix the nail and the next day the gel was peeling off on my other nails! Ridiculous!

This place is awful!!! The first time I came here...it was just for my eyebrows...terrible! The second time: I had a french tip and eyebrows....AWESOME!!! The lady Tina did my eyebrows and my nails (the way I asked). The last time I went there: French tip, eyebrows and french pedicure.....The same lady Tina and some preggo lady...both were mocking me and talking about me in their language. I tipped her and asked her to do one of my nails over again and the way she treated me just went down hill from there. When she did my eyebrows, she left the plucked hair on my face and was rude when I asked her to remove it. Then she didnt finish my nails and the preggo lady who did my feet did a half-a** job. Im never going back there. If you want polite service and your nails done correctly, DONT GO THERE!!!!!!!!
