The owner is nice. Involved and polite. Designs are amazing.

I came in the morning a little before 10 and the salon was already open. The wait was not long at all. It was my first time getting gel nails and the lady was very kind. She did not expect me to know what to do and was nice about it. It took abt 40-45 minutes and I absolutely love the outcome!

They worked so quickly and efficiently. Reasonably priced considering the service and shape I paid 20 less than my usual nail spot. I love the shape they listened to what I wanted and then delivered. I will be back

They are 100% COVID FRIENDLY!! They are so organized from time of making an appointment (i received a text confirmation) to options of payment method. All of the Nail Technicians have plastic dividers, including the pedicure stations! Super clean, friendly, appropriately priced and my nails were beautifully done in 25 minutes. I have a new nail tech as of today #Anny

I LOVED coming here when Helen was doing my nails. Its been a while since I visited so when I came a customer told me Helen was no longer there. Keep in mind I called to confirm if she was and they lied and said yes. When I got there the wait was not long. The chinese lady at the end towards the pedicures did my nails. One she kept complaining her hand was in pain. 2. the job was unacceptable. My acrylic was not applied all the way up. Stones applied were uneven and no where near the design I asked for. My nails were not even a week old before they started falling off. From afar they look nice but close up it was not a $70 job. I definitely will not be going back.Im from NY but currently live in JC. I usually travel back to Queens to do my nails but was lazy this day. I regret it so much. Thats how horrible the detailing was.

Please dont go to this place I would give 0 star if I can I went there seeing good reviews but I was wrong I told the lady i wanted acrylic as soon as she glued my nail then she puts a solution and it starts burning like crazy I never had this experience when I told her its burning she said its normal well THIS aint normal they using some kind of fake product otherwise it wouldnt burn like this also they are overpriced for stone 2 finger $20 each a rip off

At the nail salon Getting a pedicure and a man getting his nails done and massage talking on the phone and whole time not wearing a mask, I asked the owner and workers why he is not wearing a mask and they ignore me, let the man continue and not say anything, when he left after getting nasty with me because I mentioned it, the owner tells me sorry but I know him thats why. That is not a good excuse, im wearing a mask to keep everyone eles safe I should feel safe to!!

The wait here is terrible, they do a good job but the quality varies from person to person and it is not consistent.

The Central American lady who works there has twice done my acrylics and both times did a very sloppy job, uneven and full of left over white stuff all over my cuticles and under the nail tips. And gives an attitude when you make any comment about the nails.I had to go home after to try to fix it with my own tools by removing left over hardened material.

Helen is such a great business owner. She really cares about her clients. Never gets upset if you don’t like some and always looking for new trends to excite her clients. Thank You Helen so bring not only an amazing nail tech but my “happy place” when I’m down!!!

Take your business elsewhere!Since Helens departure this salon has become 1 of the worst in Jersey City. Angel who now sits in her chair is rude, unfriendly, and needs a crash course in customer service.Going to the nail salon should be a relaxing pleasant experience. Coming here is not.Its always stressful. This is like the 4th time Ive waited over an hour and Angel has allowed another customer who arrived after me to go before me.If you have the privilege to be handed a business under someone elses name you should adhere to same level of customer service. Angel has failed at this. I will not be returning to the salon formally known as Helens!

The place is clean. The manicurist (Ive gone through 3) are all competent. You walk on and from what Ive experienced you dont even need to request a particular one. Theyre all great!

First time ever going to this nail salon and this far from good quality service. My sister recommended me and decided to give them a try. My nails were painted in professional and was nails was not file straight. First and last time I would ever go..not sure if I had the wrong person do my nails for me but open to recommendation on who I should have do my nails if I ever decide to give them another try.

Ive been going to Helen for 6 years now and I love her style. Everyone is super nice and great at what they do. Make sure to get there early. FYI leave the kids at home 😉

In the two times I have been to Helens I loved the end result. My only complaint is that the wait is very long. It is common to wait at least an hour and a half before getting helped

The lady that sits in the first chair is totally unprofessional and rude. I was not able to express what I wanted as the customer. Someone needs to teach her patience and to listen. Even the fill in is horrible. I left dissatisfied and with ugly nails. As a business owner I would never treat my clients this way.

DONT GO THERE. The worst salon we’ve ever been to, they don’t even deserve one star. Went in and had to wait an hour and a half when we were told the wait was 30mins. The lady that did my wife’s nails was rude, & rushing throughtout the whole process. She did her gel manicure and pedicure.. and then that same night, my wife’s nails began to chip.. but that wasn’t the end of it. 2 days later, her big toe nail completely came off with fungus all over it, which she never had experienced before. We believe it was because of the dirty tools that they reuse on each client without even cleaning. we are very disappointed at this salon. Do yourself a favor, do not go there and waste your time and money. Stay away!!!

Thought I found the perfect place for mani pedi. However second time I tried to go arrived at 6pm when website and sign says open until 7, and door already locked. People are inside and lights say open but they had locked the doors. I gave the benefit of the doubt because it was a Friday and got a fill early Saturday morning. Jump ahead 2 week and It’s saturday, again website says open until 7pm... arrived 6:15 just need a fill, doors locked again! And AGAIN all open lights are on and people inside. Your business hours should not state 7 if your doors are never actually open until then. At least state what time you take last customer. Love the lady who did my nails both times but I will not be wasting my time coming here again.

Worst manicure ever all she did was put nail polish and put my hand in a bowl of water for a minute and put lotion on my hand, no massage no friendliness and just no good. I could have done it myself at home and saved the money!

Ive been going here for 2 years. The staff is very friendly. Yes it can be very busy and you will sometimes have to wait. However where there is great service there will be lines of ppl looking to get in on the experience. All the nail techs are great. I always get a spa pedi and a uv gel set. For price point and quality, I will say it is worth the splurge. You pay for what you get. Great quality and service cost. So dont complain about price if the quality is excellent. Some of these reviews are just one sided... One star seriously. This is the BEST NAIL SALON IN JERSEY CITY. I know Ive been to plenty.

1st time i went for my pedicure and I found my tech who used to do my nails a jennys salon on westside n Grant. Oh i was soo happy i have been looking around for her, forever. And she does the best😁 I will be back. I havent tried gel manicure but like i said ill be back.

Not safe if u have asthma, cant breath from fumes, not sanitary use same products on everyone feet! Soak ur hands or feet in betadine solution for bacteria when u get home!!!!!
