Saw an Instagram post with French nails in fun colors and wanted to recreate! They did an amazing job here I love my nails! And the service was super fast and easy.

Pretty decent job with the UV gel manicure.The replicated the exact same thing that I showed them through Pinterest. Almost near perfection!Price is slightly higher than the rest of the other places in the neighborhood.

I asked “are youDone with the pedicure? will you leave it this way?” I had an answer “yeah”...... 😳 they were 30 minutes late for service, and after rushing and cutting our time of service. Gel on 2 nails peeled off 2 days later. need more comments? Never again.

Awful place! See the three photos I attached in 16 hrs, 24 hours and 2.5 days after I got my nails done.. I was out of town, so I couldn’t go back to the salon right away the next day. Today I’m back in town, I stopped by and showed them my nails and the ladies work there said it looks normal for a regular manicure. So they asked me to pay for re-polishing! I was told that they’re not allow to re-do free unless the manager approves my case, and the manager wasn’t in at that moment. Wow! I’m not paying this place another $40 for mani&pedi until I see their manicure lasts more than 24 hours. I’ve never seen such a poor quality and management up until now.

The fastest pedicure I ever had.

Management ensures you are taken care of the moment you walk in the door. They keep you up to speed, if needed, regarding any wait times. This place gets quite busy, rightfully so, because of how great the service and quality is. Ive never had a bad experience and my gel manicures always last! Worth a trip to Paulus Hook. They do offer appointments to help alleviate wait times for customers!

Great local nail and esthetics services! Professional clean location. Main level is dedicated to nail services meanwhile downstairs has rooms for spa services like waxing. Each visit has been pleasant and efficient. The prices are in line with other local service providers. Nice added touches like sparkling water during manicures and pedicures are appreciated. This is a super classy spot. Very clean and sanitary. The chairs are comfortable and they put a huge plastic shower head looking cover over the whole sink so your feet arent in the actual sink. I only get pedicures here and the prices are premium. Especially if you want the works. But its worth it. Your feet will thank you later.

I’ve tried other places near grove street, but none are as good as Ladybird! Definitely worth going the extra distance and paying a little bit more ($63 for gel manicure and pedicure together). Every time I go to Ladybird they take their time and ensure that you are happy with your nails. Sparkling water is served while you have a pedicure and it truly is a spa like experience. The employees are friendly and do not seem frustrated or bothered or rushed, even when I have gone there close to their closing time. Excellent service, excellent gel manicures (the only place I go!), and excellent pedicures.

Really great salon. They took their time which I really appreciate. Slightly more expensive than places closer to Grove Street but worth it. 👌

New management. Better service. When I get my nails done here, they usually last longer than a week. The lady who does my eyebrows is also very nice and careful with the hot wax. Overall, its a lot better than it was before.

I agree with the comments here about them being a little clueless with appointments and being dull to interact with, but the times I’ve been here they have done a great job. Not sure how reviews can be so mixed... but I recommend this place.

Went in for a gel manicure. Great work, friendly staff, fast, and clean place. Will be back again soon. Just a heads up it’s busy in the evenings on weekdays so make an appointment if you can.

All the ladies are great. Make sure you go earlier tho, so you get the full treatment. Closer to closing time it can get a little rushed but, cant blame them they do have families to go home to. Will continue to be my #1 nail shop is jersey city.

I stopped going here after a while because I would walk in at my appointment time and get treated like no one had any idea I was coming at all. My nail tech did not speak adequate English, so it was difficult for me to communicate with her other than simple instructions like please make shorter. She also made it clear with her coldness that she would rather be anywhere else on earth. I always felt extremely uncomfortable, so I basically just stared down at the floor awkwardly the whole 35 min she worked on my nails. I always tipped her well, but that never helped her mood. She clearly hated her job. I realize some people dont want to talk to their nail tech at all, so this might not be a problem, but for me it felt like interacting with a servant, and that is not the relationship Im after when I sit with someone every two weeks.

I really wanted to like this place because we just moved into the neighborhood! It was one of the worst pedicures Ive ever had, unfortunately. It was horrendously overpriced and Im not generally price sensitive - coming from NYC, TriBeCa no less, Im used to spending $80-90 for a pedicure. My pedicure was $110 before tip. Granted I was supposed to get the works, including a 15 minute leg massage. She massaged my legs and feet for a minute each, if that. Most of the time, my legs were wrapped in Saran Wrap. Looks like Im better of commuting back to NYC for a proper pedicure! Really sad.

Gel polish started to peel at the tips and it’s only been two days!!! A friend of mine also got a manicure and it cracked and chipped within the hour! The service is terrible and they rush the process. They didn’t take their time with filing the nails or applying the polish. I paid over $40 for mediocre nails, never again.

Quality not satisfied for their price. Another salon block away have better price and service.
