Everyone is very kind, friendly, attentive and very professional. I love that they make appointments and actually stick to them, Ive never had to wait or spend my whole morning or afternoons in the salon (unlike many other nail salons around). My nails come out great and if there is a problem with early chipping etc, they fix it right away.

First time here and it was great! Both my nail technicians, Brenda and I didnt catch the second persons name, did a great job on my nails. All the staff was super friendly. They made my visit very relaxing! They offered all types of drinks which was a plus 😉

I don’t write many reviews and felt compelled to after my experience here. Absolutely fantastic! Reasonable prices, a personable experience, and I felt right at home my first time being there. I was floored by Joe’s hospitality, but also I got a wax and a gel manicure and both women I saw were lovely. Something about feeling so welcome there made me want to go back again and again and this is my new go-to spot.

I love this place. It’s easy to schedule and there a lot of color options. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the pedicure chair situation isn’t ideal for a late 2nd or 3rd trimester pregnant person. It’s an awkward chair and ledge set up where I felt like it was hard switching and lifting my feet up without my belly getting in the way. They don’t have the traditional comfy massage chairs. I still go there bc the quality and customer service is great.

I have been going to juco for the past 12 years, and I wouldnt go anywhere else if I had a choice. The space is beyond anything other nail salons can offer you. The owner always gives you a warm welcome and makes you feel like an extra special guest. All of the nail technicians and estheticians are very professional and incredibly talented at their craft. I never have to wait for more than 5 minutes when I have made an appointment. I love their nail polish colors and variety of brands they offer for no chip. They have an exquisite line of products for purchase, and I cannot recommend their esthetician enough. Waxing has always been a need for me, and there is no other space in Chicago which gives you the privacy professionalism and the care that you get here. If you are in the area and looking for a wonderful nail salon to relax with a glass of wine or water and watch movies with a group of close-knit women and men who love their jobs.

Great place! Awesome prices and the staff were wonderful. Had complimentary drinks. And we’re taking Covid-19 precautions very seriously. They don’t have the bubble foot baths which I prefer. Will go again soon

Definitely go get your nails done here! Yesterday was my first time visiting the Juko, and I cant wait to go back. The salon is clean, the staff is friendly and inviting, and the prices are excellent for the area. This salon uses actual tubs for the pedicures instead of the jacuzzis, which I always look for in a salon because the tubs are cleaner. After a super relaxing, enjoyable pedicure, my clumsy self somehow managed to mess up my big toe right after leaving the salon. I returned to explain what happened and apologized, and they fixed it in five minutes for no extra charge. I was beyond impressed with their prompt customer service. One more perk: if you like wine like me, they offer you a glass when you arrive. My friend and I had rode our bikes to the salon in the heat, so the glass of chilled white wine during the pedicure was a great way to cool down and enjoy the experience. Im looking forward to returning soon!

Brenda is the best. I wish they were closer to me but it’s worth the trip. I live in the south loop and will always try to make it to Juko to see her.

The staff and technicians at Juko are so friendly! The technicians are very attentive to detail when doing manicures or pedicures. They serve free wine/tea/water/diet coke, and the salon is extremely clean. They also fix any chips in your no-chip (gel) manicure for up to two-weeks at no charge, which is great for clumsy people like myself.

An absolutely amazing place to get your nails done. I would agree, some technicians are better then others, but you can always request the person you want! Juko guarantees their no chip to last for 2 weeks, so if something does happen, just give them a call. Another tip I would like to offer you is to call ahead and make an appointment. Juko is popular for a reason so plan ahead. Lastly, I like buying 10 no chip manicures at a time, it saves you money!

The standard manicure/pedicure here was wonderful, everything about the service exceeded expectations. The most impressive part is that my manicure still looks amazing after a week and a half, for someone who usually can’t keep gel looking ok for this amount of time, it’s truly a miracle and a testament to the quality of this spa!!!

This place is definitely my go-to. You have to make a reservation but its well worth it. Everyone who works here is so friendly and accommodating. They give you wine (if you so choose) and have a huge color selection. My favorite part is that if you get a no-chip and it chips within 14 days, theyll fix it for free! Love coming here!

I find that I was quite surprised at this place the joy of this shop is the Owner. She is simply outstanding she loves her work and it shows. She puts a great deal of Passion into her work and her business. I called with a concern about being a large man getting a Manacure and pedicure and she made me feel accepted. I very much enjoyed this place even though she doesnt have the fancy massage chairs. The quality of the manicure and pedicure makes it well worth the effort to go. This is particularly interesting because the competition on her block is fierce there are 2 or 3 other nail shops on the same street, to stand out in such a location is impressive.

Was really hoping for a better experience. The salon itself was clean and had a broad selection of polish colors. Unfortunately the lady I got (tall thin with long naturally red hair) didn’t say a word to me until mid service when I asked her how her day was going. Additionally, she finished my pedicure in less than 15 min and then left me sitting there. Overall just not great service or quality work, might as well go to the salon next door if that’s what you’re gonna get.

I had my first experience at Juko today and it was absolutely fabulous. I stopped in this afternoon in need of a manicure for my bridal shower tomorrow. My nails are in rough shape after a recent no chip that I didnt remove properly and I just wanted a quick clean up and some fresh polish. The gentleman running the desk said they were completely booked but ended up being able to accommodate me. The service was wonderful, nail therapist was super nice and detailed plus fun and easy to talk too. The atmosphere is fun and up beat yet relaxing and comfortable at the same time. Very attentive staff that seems to enjoy working together and making operations smooth. Great customer service. All in all a great experience, Im really happy I stopped in and I will definitely be back .

Inca was fantastic, and the salon had such a great vibe. Entire team was friendly and welcoming even on a clearly busy Friday afternoon with multiple bridal parties in. Also as a side note, I loved that they didn’t have “chick flicks” on the TV...

I get my nails done here not regularly enough. My manicure varies, depending on who does it, some people rush through, some people take the time with the attention to detail I need to give me a manicure that lasts longer than 3 days. Pro Tip - find who you like, then request only them when booking your next appointment.

I love this place! I ended up here because Im in the hair industry and the option of an 8pm appointment on a Friday is a game changer. Ive never had a bad experience here, everyone is amazing. When I found brenda I knew this was someone I wanted to prebook with and make it a regular appointment. Shes beyond talented and good people. Being in the customer service industry I have high standards but when it comes to Juko, I always feel special. Im not just a number, I am, hello Tara. A shout out to wes for going above and beyond.

Placed is nice, clean and very inviting. A lot of different colors to choose from. I went in for a no chip mani and a regular pedi. The pedicure still looks good over a week later but the no-chip started peeling at the one week mark. For the $65 + tip price tag, I’d expect at least two weeks wear on the no chip as they informed me. I probably won’t be back considering I’ve had less expensive and longer lasting no chips elsewhere.

Took my girl for some pampering today for her Birthday. Set her up for a Spa/Pedi and Spa/mani. And this placed delivered. The owner really cares about her customers and her business. My girl loved it. Definitely recommend this place. We will return.

I was a walk-in and I was accommodated right away, and couldnt be happier with the meticulous work that Denise does, shes a professional in every way. Everyone around me seemed equally satisfied with their manicure. Not to mention how nice it was to be offered a cup of hot tea while I browsed their enormous selection of polishes. I had never had my nails done before coming here two years ago. I have been coming here every three weeks since. Best staff and great vibe all around. Complimentary wine or tea and great prices.

I came in here with my friend and was sat next to her. I needed my no-chip removed. The woman started soaking my nails and another employee had me move to a chair so she could do another clients names while I wait for my no-chip to be ready. I thought this waa extremely unprofessional. Im a paying client as well, plus there were other spots she could have completed this womans nails. The employee that took over my spot then asked if my jacket was in the chair which she knew it was mine and then moved it to a different chair. She was very rude. The guy at the front desk was very nice and helped get the original girl to remove my aluminum foil to remove my no-chip. At the time, my friend is complete done with her nails. They do not have any drying stations and you are told to just wait. I have never heard of a salon that charged $17 for a basic manicure not have a station for drying. I will not be coming back. Thank you to the guy at the front desk for being so nice!

I am an African American lady who entered this shop at 8:20 pm... I was told they couldnt do any nails because they were about to close... I said ok because the place was empty... I walked into another shop but they were full.... As I walked back to my car; I see someone in the chair.... I walked back in and asked can i get my eyebrows done since its too late for my nails, and she said there is not enough time.... The lady who clearly just walked in after me just looked at me in pity.... I felt embarrassed and disrespected.....

I used to come here from 2010-2012, then moved neighborhoods and tried many other places... Always resulting in bleeding fingers, chipping no chips and hang nails later. I dont know WHY I didnt just make the drive to Juko, because their perfect services and awesome staff are obviously worth it.I started going back winter of 2016, and dont plan on stopping unless I move out of state!

Consistently great work for manis, pedis, no chip, etc. Not one of the frivolous kitschy standard salons. They have all the comforts and pay extra attention to details. The service is always on point.

I got a mani/pedi there, and it was a great experience! Clean, friendly, and relaxing environment. I had to do some housework and gardening the next day, and my paint didnt chip at all!

I have been looking for a great nail salon forever and this place is by far the best Chicago has to offer! THe staff is sooo friendly and my no-chip has now lasted me 3 weeks...yes three weeks!!! also, they provide free wine while you are getting your nails done!!! it is very far from where i live in lincoln park but it is soooo worth it!!!! They also, have Vegan nailpolishes and use vegan lotion :)
