Ive ordered 2 34 monitors off amazon, luckily amazon refunded me and allowed me to reorder it. My monitors were supposed to get here today. They didnt. How do you lose 4 34 INCH monitors. Thats incredibly ridiculous to me, they should really hire some new people or find some way to make sure way less packages get lost because at this point it is beyond ridiculous. I waited a week for the first 2, then waited another few days for the 2 others, if amazon had the option I would pay extra to be able to ship with a different post office.

With so many negative reviews, maybe I could consider myself a lucky one.Ordered an item in early Feb 20 that got shipped out of TX. It went through Shreveport and this distribution center. Got nervous at first after seeing the reviews here and other forums. Turns out my worries were unfounded. It sat there for 12 hours or so, then it proceeds to Miami Intl just past midnight on the next day. Mail arrived safely at home after 5 weeks of overseas journey.No idea why the mail got routed south and went as far as FL because in my previous experience, it got routed north through IL. Even the customer care guy I called over the phone has no clue as well. Instead, he just read back the shipping details, which I already knew of.

I’d like to share my experience with this usps facility. I have medication on the way, and it’s been at this facility since Saturday. It was supposed to arrive Monday, but it’s now Wednesday with no type of movement or update on where they are. I’ve tried calling a numerous amount of times just to never get an answer. Delays are understandable but it seems this usps facility is known for holding or losing packages. I’m starting to get worried because this is a necessity.

I have no idea how my package ended up here because I live in Broward so if your package makes it here you can just forget about it because it is definitely stolen. I will never use USPS to send a local package again.

This place seriously is a black hole. I don’t understand how they’re allowed, legally, to operate the way they do. Idc if it’s theft, short staffing, poor management…WHATEVER. It’s insane the number of things that never make it out of this place and utter lack of accountability they have. There has to be a way to press criminal charges against them….

My review is based on the experience I had so far with this distribution center in particular and obviously with USPS service. I mailed a envelope via certified mail on Monday June 14, 2021 from Miami to Fort Lauderdale. As you may see in the picture attached the mail is still in transit but clearly shows that it is been sitting for days in this distribution center. I also filed a complaint and no resolution had been provided yet. It’s been 9 days and the mail is still in transit somewhere. This is becoming ridiculous to say the least. I am really hoping that my important document will be delivered safely and in a timely matter.

Such a nightmare; or black hole of distribution centers for the USPS. My package shipped from UK has ended up here and most likely stolen by an employee looking for a high end suit to sell on the black market.Now I get my refund from Hawes and Curtis and ghe thief who works here gets off on taking stolen goods and making some cash, while suggesting they sent package to the next facility, which has not occurred. Ive had many problems with Opa Locka distribution center. Now i have a package sitting there again since Aug 22nd. Delivery was supposed to be yesterday. Havent not received it today. no updates to tracking. i wrack my brain thinking how a package can get lost in a sorting center, its designed for just that purpose, TO SORT THE MAIL CORRECTLY. PBC and Ft Lauderdale distribution is the best, Opa Locka is terrible.

When I saw the reviews on this place it sacred me that my package was gonna get stolen or even be there for days. Luckily it was there for one day but I just wanna say that I ordered a phone case so it’s not valuable or in a big package. This was my experience so don’t expect this is happen to you because my god the reviews and experiences of other people is so bad.

The tracking log speaks volumes on this facilitys poor level of service. Truthfully, an audit is in order. At most with Priority Service, it should have taken 2 - 3 days max to get to my location. If my package comes thru here than its guaranteed it will get lost for a long time and sent to another post office and back again. Happens regularly.

Im honestly not one to EVER complain, but This place doesnt even deserve 1 star. Every single time I have a package at this facility, its there for weeks on end. When you call them, no one answers. Do not order thru USPS if you have a package that might come thru the Opa Locka distribution center. Pay the extra money and have it shipped UPS or FedEx or whatever, or order from a different store thats no where near here. Trust me. Read thru the reviews of this disgusting place and youll understand. This is unacceptable and I dont understand how USPS lets their company run like this. They either need an audit, more employees, or better ones. Ridiculous. Im more mad at myself for not learning my lesson the first 3 times I ordered from a business that ships their products near this distribution center. 😡

They need to be shut down. I sent a package there a week ago and it still says it’s at this distribution center! I don’t if they are stealing or just aren’t there, but I had no control over my package coming here. USPS need to shut this place down and go after the people who works here.

Package arrived on 4/21 to this facility.. as of now it still sits there except they say they don’t have it and never did. Thank god it’s insured as the value is $1300. When is someone important going to see all these issues and fire every single person working here and shut this place down.

Ive been tracking a package on line its been sitting for 4 days and the weather is doing okay. NO weather warnings or issues. Not sure why its just sitting there. Package from FL to NC shouldnt be a problem. Should have used UPS instead. Wait time now is 9 days and counting which should have been 5 at the most.

This post office is the absolute worst. It holds your packages for days. I’ve lost 3 packages this month alone. I have about 8 pavan ages that has been just sitting there no doing anything. I can’t get a hold of anyone over there. Sellers please be careful. I have a lot of upset customers because they still don’t have their items. Another horrible thing too is that this is one of the distribution centers that sorts the packages. USPS had to do something about this location fast!

My SHIRT has been sitting there 4 days and counting. It says Your Item Arrived at Opa Locka Distribution Center and 7 minutes later it departed...but that was 4 days ago. That was my last update...is my shirt gone? Wouldnt know, because they dont like to pick up the phone it seems. Do better!

Package arrived at this location 15 days ago. Never arrived at next facility. Package location automatically updated at midnight to US?! Others have had luck getting their parcel to move within hours of enabling email/text tracking updates. Did not work for me.

I had a package sitting at this distribution center for 2 days and when it arrived you could tell some one (an employee) went through the entire package and stole everything valuable. What was left of the contents arrived with all the packaging damaged and torn. This is the worst distribution center in the whole country.

My packages could literally travel across the world but if they come across this postal office they get lost. Alway in pending acceptance or simply sending things to another address. It’s been a month my very important package from Russia is stuck in this facility.I contacted the seller, the original sender office, tried to reach this specific facility, nothing helped. So I contacted the USPS itself and insisted in opening an investigation on this specific facility, since I’m not the only one. Hopefully they’ll resolve this case.I got another packages coming, and I’m frustrated since I can’t control whether the package will go through this facility or some other way. Worse service I ever got Ive been waiting for a package for 2 weeks now. Ive tried calling, no one answers, I should have just burned my money since I cant seem to get what I paid for.

They lost my item I opened up a case which was closed 2 days later without resolving my issue. I think one star is way too much for this place, this place gives a bad image on the rest of the usps workers.

Its impossible to leave a zero star which I needs.Ive had two car titles being shipped from a company thought this facility and neither had made it Ive been waiting for one since December and the second one is now stuck in transit after putting tracking on the packet since the first never showed up. The company I ordered from has been great working with me, even going so far as to possibly switching from usps as their business partner. Someone really needs to just get rid of the staff send all packages to another facility until this one can be put under better management. I sent two packages a week ago from Maryland, one to Kansas City, MO and one to Canada. Receipt shows delivery in 3 days. Well here its been a week and they both are sitting in FLORIDA? The complete opposite direction they need to go in. WHY? When will they be delivered? I would like a refund for the $70 I spent on priority mail service. Who do I speak to?

If l could give this Postal Office distribution Center a zero l would. Mailed package on April 29. Got a notice it was at the OPA LOCKA DISTRIBUTION CENTER. on May 4 and supposedly in transit. Till today May 10th no updates or whereabouts of my package sent. No tracking whatsoever. So much for paying for Priority mail, signature confirmation, and insurance. Some intervention has to happen. This is ridiculous and not to mention the high prices we are paying for terrible service.

WOULD GIVE 0 STARS. My package has been sitting at facility for 6 days. Contains medication in it for may cat that he will literally die without. Hate ordering this medicine thru the mail but the vets near me wont order it in because it is a medication that is rarely needed in veterinary medicine. I am shocked to see that other reviewers have had the same experience I am having... I shipped a package out 2 weeks ago (and paid more for 2-day priority service) and for some reason, it took 6 days just to get to this post office (which I have no idea why, since it is completely in the opposite direction from where it is supposed to be going – both states are well above Florida). Then, after finally arriving at this location, it has been another full week and my package is STILL sitting at this post office! No tracking updates. I have called and called, but no one ever answers the phone. So, I contacted USPS support and was told that even they couldnt make contact with this location, because their calls & emails were not answered or responded to! How is that acceptable? What is going on here?! I struggle to find the words – I am just BAFFLED by this!

My package arrived at this facility on 05/06/2021 tracking said that the package is expected to arrive to me on the 8th but on the 10th I got a notification that my package “will be arriving late but is still in transit” it is now the 18th and according to tracking, my package is STILL at this facility! It’s been there for a total of 12 days and is now 10 days late to be delivered! I can’t even get on the phone with them to see what is going on. I have no idea what is going on at this place but they need to get it together. This is ludicrous.

They lost my package that was a necklace. I filed a claim because it was in transit arriving late for over 5 days, and the claim was processed saying they never got the package when it had been scanned at their facility. Very unhelpful and untrustworthy. Another package that shipped after this one was delivered, but it just a book, so makes me believe they stole my jewelry.

When I looked at the reviews I was a bit scared if my package was going to arrive or not. Turns out it came as expected and was in good shape. I still have another package in transit there so, Ill see how that turns out.*EDIT* The package that was in transit there is on its way so it seems like everything is fine.

I can only imagine the disorganization and incompetence. The last place my package tracked was at this post office location. It did not arrive when it was supposed to.Than I got the dreaded your package is late but still in transit. No updates since that time. None. Zero. Zip. If it was really traveling it would show through tracking by now. Horrible. I am not even local so I cant go over there and demand answers.

My priority shipment arrived on the 26th instead of the 21st. It was stuck at this location for 3 days before moving to a local post office. But this is understandable given the time of year.I am just glad that I picked it up without noticing in-transit damages like crush or scratch marks on the box. Most importantly, I was relieved that the contents were unharmed.Overall I am content with the results here. But something has to be done to improve the USPS during stressful days. This place should be closed down and contracted for private corporations to operate. Everytime my package gets routed through this facility there happens to be an additional 5 day delay. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I ordered contacts from the visionworks facility in Orlando 7 days ago. I should have just driven up to Orlando and got the damn contacts myself.

Probably the worst experience when dealing with a shipping center. It’s been sitting at this location for 10 days!! I had to call USPS customer service to put a order in to see what’s going on. This is a review for the entire US Postal Service and not just this distribution center. On 12/11/2020 I applied for a renewal of my US passport through a Post Office location in Northeast Philadelphia. USPS was supposed to send my Priority Mail packet from one zip code in Philadelphia to another zip code in Philadelphia. So, the packet should have never left Philly. Instead, they somehow sent it to this distribution center in Florida, where it was lost. Tracking updates stopped coming in and I have no idea where the packet is and whether it will ever be delivered. Moral of the story: when applying for a passport avoid using USPS. Go in person, if you can, or use private delivery carriers.

I only gave this distribution center one star because I couldnt leave it zero stars. I ordered a Christmas gift for my wife and paid for priority mail on December 8th. My package is still sitting at this distribution center on December 20th. I ordered this gift to be delivered to Houston, TX in more than enough time to get this package before Christmas. There are only 1,000 miles between the source and final destination. I have complained repeatedly to the USPS, and they can provide no information that is useful. It should be no surprise why the USPS is having so many problems. This center is a complete joke and every last employee at this center should be terminated. This is absolutely ridiculous.

Yep still sitting there no action since the 17th.Im seeing a trend. Looks like ebay customers are getting the shaft from this center. I guess if I order anything else on ebay. My 2 day priority express mail has been sitting in this facility for over a week. I take care of my disabled brothers finances & mailed his rent checks, money orders, etc. He never received it and is now late with his rent and has no money to buy food. I am literally driving from Florida to Massachusetts so I can take care of this mess. I filed a complaint with usps and they told me that I would hear from someone within 24 hours. All I got was a survey asking me how my experience was tracking my lost mail. You could only imagine my reply.

I gave one star in order that I can write my review. My real review is ZERO STAR. The worst experience that I have had with USPS was with this distribution center. I bought a cookware set on May 20, 2020 and the seller sent the package on May 23th. As of as today, I haven’t received my package. The seller gave so many follow up to USPS since June, place a claim and the USPS finally answered on September that the package was lost.My recommendation is that the USPS start immediately an investigation in order to find why so many people lost packages in this station. The point is that something wrong is happening.I hopefully believe that the USPS pay attention to all bad reviews to Opa Locka General Distribution Center.

Package sitting here for over 24 hours and counting, when it should have been in my house 14 days ago. I live 12 miles up north from this distribution center, and the package came from Illinois, further up north. So WHY is this package even down here, 12 miles south from my house, 14 days late?? There really isnt any reason for people to be mad at this place UM, YES THERE IS?? This place and every other USPS location is INCOMPETENT and needs to be SHUTDOWN.

I had a $700 package being sent and it got to this location, I was curious and looked it up and was SO nervous it would not end up getting to me. It only spent 2 days here and was shipped out. I guess I was one of the lucky ones.

There is something off about this place. Its like if a package ends up there it just doesnt get delivered.

I mailed my kids Christmas gifts (Delaware) on 12/17 and the lady who took my package said it would be there by 12/21. It is now 1/1/21 and they still havent received their gifts. I also mailed something to Australia, which it was delivered in less than a week. Im not sure how that works but I will never use USPS AGAIN, no matter how much it costs at other carriers. This is absolutely pathetic.

My parents mailed 2 packages from Port Saint Lucie, FL and it was shipped to this distribution center to come to Delaware on dec 15. After reading the reviews I am very worried that I will never get my packages. None of the other individuals who wrote a review updated their reviews so Im curious to know if they ever received their packages or is packages stolen or missing. --ZERO STARS, this is horrible.--Update:Today January 8th my packages mysteriously are out for delivery. Never being updated or scanned after being in this distribution center. Im grateful my packages are finally here (Delaware). Nonetheless, USPS shouldnt charge priority shipping if they are going to deliver your packages or mail, 4-weeks later. That is ridiculous. I have been trying to get ahold of this distribution center for a few days now. I mailed a package on DECEMBER 8TH from fort pierce florida, and it is stuck at this place in Opa locka florida for almost an ENTIRE MONTH NOW. I cant get ahold of anyone, I dont know what to do. There is a good 200$ value of stuff, I paid priority with insurance and this is just absolutely insane that this is happening. Someone PLEASE contact me.

There really isnt any reason for people to be mad at this particular post office but rather they should be mad at the people who are sending the packages to Florida in the first place. My packages were suppose to go from Maryland to New York but now have taken a detour here in Opa Locka, Florida??! Everyone should have expected a postal nightmare. Post office / Fed Ex/ UPS rotate the packages and send the ones on the bottom of the pile!!

I have tried reaching someone at this facility many times without any luck. My package has been sitting at this facility for 6 days and hasn’t moved! This is not how a United States Postal Service is supposed to serve. Its very disheartening that there are tons of bad reviews and yet NOTHING has been done to fix the problems.

So many bad reviews and I totally understand why. I could write so much on my mind about this place, but it wouldnt even matter. Im sure no one at usps cares or reads this... Use a different delivery service than usps. Especially for very important stuff like medicine. Or honestly anything. So sad for anyone who is or had to go through this. The opa-locka needs to get it together. Maybe some new management. Someone who takes their job serious.

Awful! I was trying to track my package from a seller whom I have purchased from before. SAME EXACT PROBLEM it sits in Opa Locka FOREVER! I actually took the time to look up reviews to see if others had the same experience...and what do you know.. YES! Had I known I would have asked the sender to use a different method of shipping. Just ridiculous!
