EditI really think it’s sad how much of a liar you are as an owner. I called and specifically talked to you in the summer months of 2020. That was the last time you spoke to me. Not March. You told me yourself that there was no time limit on my purchase and to come back when I’m healed. I paid $600 for three sessions and only received one. Of course I want a refund for the services that I didn’t receive. I asked if I could receive a different area of my face done before I found out you longer offered that service.You told your receptionist to tell me you’re not giving me a refund because you could not tell me yourself. The more I think about it, the more I realize that I never had these skin issues on my face before going to this business and getting that service done. It’s pretty crazy how it’s only in the area that my service was done too.Here’s another review since this business flagged my review.Stay away from this place! They refused to credit me or refund me my money because of a health concern. The owner lied to me saying to come back when I’m healed. When I returned 8 months later healed, they told me they don’t do that service anymore and they weren’t refunding me or giving me store credit. If you’re feanin that hard over a couple hundred of dollars that YOU didn’t earn, then you’re probably not financially stable enough to own a business.This business is disgusting and has the audacity to say I’m creating fake reviews. Myself and my husband posted 1 review each and that is all. I don’t take false accusations lightly. It’s bad enough that you lied and took my hard earned money, but now you’re lying on serious criminal charges. Take responsibility for your own business.

I got a Brazilian wax and my underarms waxed as well about 5 days ago. I did enjoy the staff, they were very friendly and kind. I did notice that once I got home there were patches of hair left. The wax wasn’t a thorough as I wanted it to be. For the price and tip I expected a cleaner wax. Overall it was a good experience, will try this place again!

Ive visited many businesses around Jacksonville looking for the best place to get my eyebrows done and Im so glad I came across this one! Ive been going here for a few months now and even started getting my lashes done as well. Friendly staff and exceptional results everytime! Now I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Terrible customer service. I was hung up on twice while trying to make an appointment. Definitely going somewhere else. They are so rude. I have tried to visit y’all. My daughter went to get her eyebrows tinted and its only been 2 weeks and theyre not even 10 and any longer so I dont know if I would recommend that or not

Jamie was the best in my Brazilian wax! Great conversation and allowed me to be comfortable. She gave great advice on extra services to help me with my razor bumps and inflammation. Definitely will be back again!!

This is the best Wax & Beauty Bar in town! I came here for permanent makeup and waxing services and I am highly satisfied with my results! If I could give 10 Stars I would. The staff is super friendly and the talk you through everything . The prices are reasonable and they are quick and proficient at their waxing skills.

I had an appointment for a brow threading with Xenia and realized about 2 hours before that I would have no one to watch my 8 month old daughter! I let them know and they allowed me to bring her. She sat on my lap as I had the service done, and everyone was so kind and understanding! Luckily my baby was very well behaved, but I am still incredibly thankful that they were flexible and understanding. And that’s not to mention how great my brows look! I’ll definitely be giving them my business for the rest of the time that I’m here in JVille. Thank you all!

Got waxed here for the first time ever and the woman made it so comfortable and not awkward! She was friendly and professional. I also got my lashes here and they ALL fell out before I could even get my two week fill so I am beyond upset because they were so expensive. I’ve had lashes before and none have ever fallen out so quickly, and they weren’t even coming out with my natural lash attached, it was only the extension. I’ll continue to get waxed here but will not ever get lashes here again. Be aware that if you’re going to pay tons of money for lashes that you want to make sure the quality of all products is good!

*edited to add picture taken by Stephanie herself in her spa on 3/9/21 before performing the 3RD TOUCH UP to attempt to correct the results received after the second touch up. Eyebrows were fine after initial procedure but there were obvious issues with Stephanie maintaining that shape when touch up was performed. This required an additional procedure that made the differences more obvious. Now Im forced to look into expensive corrective techniques.I was referred here for hybrid eyebrows and I have been deeply disappointed by the results received. Im not sure if it was the fact that Stephanie was constantly interrupted by trainees asking questions or just a mistake on her part. She did attempt to fix the error but I have been left with one good eyebrow and another permanently flawed eyebrow. Stephanie is amazing! She not only fixed my poor micro blading job from a different artist but created the most perfect combo brows for me! It has truly saved me so much time in the mornings! She does wonders, I would recommend her to anyone looking for perfect full brows! ☺️

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with Jamie At Ikonick. Actually my word yesterday was “delightful!” Even booking my appointment was Easy and Amy was really friendly, relatable and easy to work with to book over the phone. When I showed up, everybody was super welcoming and professional. I had a bad wax experience at another salon and opted for the Numbing treatment, Brazilian and vagacial afterwards. Let me tell you… If you’ve never treated your lady bits to a facial then you are completely missing out. It was a cooling and relaxing experience post wax and really helped calm the skin after the hair was removed. I will definitely be adding it onto all of my appointments. Plus they had so many different types based on your skin or scent that you prefer! The only issue that I had was the signage outside did not say Ikonick and it threw me off a little bit. But a quick phone call directed me to the right place. They have extremely reasonable packages including unlimited Brazilian waxes for a year. I’ve already booked my next appointment and will highly recommend this to anybody who is looking for a clean, professional, and really down to earth beauty bar.

I really wanted to like this place. Went into this salon a little over two years ago and had an awful experience (the esthetician was inexperienced which led to...problems, the staff rude and unprofessional when I asked to be refunded). I noticed that the name had changed for the salon and I thought they may be under new ownership. Scheduled another appointment last night for services with a different esthetician, really hoping for a better experience, and got a call 45 minutes before my appointment (after I had cleared my morning schedule) that they would not accept me as a client due to our previous correspondance. I want this place to be successful, (so I will not post screenshots of the FB conversation between myself and the absolute travesty that they call their management), but their business practices are completely unethical and they do not care about the well being of their clients.

It was my first time being wax when I first called to the appointment the receptionist was super helpful when I got to my appointment Shayna was the one who helped me and she was very comforting and reassuring me everything was alright also very funny interactive outgoing I really appreciated that as well what a great service there!

Always tend to leave here with a great experience! Mikayla is my go to and she always does great with my brows and also Brazilian wax. I 100% reccomend her!! I normally get a womans combo #4 and currently have a brow package. If you are thinking of getting some wax services done, this is the place to go to. I came here for the first time a year and a half ago and have been a loyal customer since!

Ive gone for a combination wax and lash lift..Josie is amazing at what she does. Her lash lifts are the BEST. Also, for someone that has had several different types of waxing done, I prefer their wax over sugaring! I had little discomfort - which was really surprising! Will always go there for waxing if Josie is there.

Hannah did henna brows for me and they turned out great! I was a little freaked out when I left because they were SO dark and bold but she assured me that once I wiped off the rest of the product the next day they would be natural and super pretty! She was right! I will definitely be returning for such a reasonably priced service! Bonus points to the staff because they were all super sweet!

It was my first time getting a spray tan and had tons of questions. The ladies were amazing and so sweet. They answered everything for me, showing they knew what they were doing. Professional and sweet! I will defiantly be a regular customer and not just for spray tans!

I desperately needed my eyebrows done after this whole quarantine nonsense. They were in rough shape. I was able to get a same day appointment with Josie and she did an amazing job! I did not have to wait at all and she took her time to make them perfect. The place was unbelievably clean and smelled really good. Will definitely be booking with Josie in the future.

I can say before learning about this place I was driving 30miles to another spa and went in yesterday and had an absolutely great experience. Mikayla was professional and very personable. The whole staff there is professional and very friendly. Cannot express how awesome it feels not to be self conscious of how I appear again. GREAT price GREAT value!

I got a neck wax yesterday and it was quick.... I couldn’t really see how it turned out cause the mirror they had was really small, but it looked pretty good. When I got home, I noticed there was a small patch of hair left on one side... it’s not too obvious, but you can see it if you look at the back of my neck if you were to be behind me in line or something... Nonetheless.. I might give this a 3rd try... I’ve been having trouble finding a regular place for my waxing needs Especially on the eyebrows ):

I discovered Sapone shortly after moving here over a year ago and I love them! I’ve gotten lash extensions and they were amazing! They always do such a good job with any waxing service! Wouldn’t go anywhere else! ☺️

First time getting a male Brazilian. (The other places I checked didnt offer) Was comforted and comfortable. Pretty laid back environment. Was taken care of accordingly and had a pleasant experience. The service was uncomfortable in regards to pain. But I was happy with the results and would return for follow ups

Really wanted to keep giving these lovely ladies my business but after making my Brazilian wax appointment last week.. coming in today for the lady I pick to still be with her client before me and not given a call as a heads up she running behind to give me the option to reschedule for another day or time. Appointment was at 430pm ask the nice receptionist of she could find out how much longer my wait to be(ask that around 440pm) for my SCHEDULE appointment to say she was wrapping up waited another 5 minutes by 450pm I ask the receptionist if I could go ahead and cancel my appointment because I had somewhere to be.. she understood and had no problem and doing that.

I hate to give this place a less than average review but unfortunately I won’t return after my most recent visit. They were about averagely priced but when I showed up for my Brazilian was yesterday, I was informed that now their Brazilian doesn’t include the bikini line. This is an additional 10 dollars, on top of the 10 dollars you are asked to pay for the “back strip”. So basically they do a BIKINI wax and then make you add a la carte services to create a true Brazilian wax. Even big name chains like European Wax Center at least cover the bikini line in their Brazilian. and they offer a great wax pass system.Also, the young lady who did my wax was very sweet but very likely new to the profession. She did not let enough time pass for the wax to harden so she had to painstakingly pick at the wax to get the hair removed. Very very painful. I’ve been waxing for about 6-7 years and that was one of the more painful sessions in a very long time. She was also very slow, my waxes usually take no longer than 10-15 minutes. She did listen to me as I tried to guide her and again, was very sweet. But that session coupled with what I find to be unreasonable prices will lead me seeking a new waxing option.Would love to support a small business but there are plenty other options in the area

I wanted to love this place, I really did, but I highly doubt I’ll be back after my experience. I believe it was Josie who had done mine and my husbands brows, and while shape wise they turned out well, the wax experience itself left much to be desired. I have gotten my brows waxed multiple times over my 27 years of life, and never once have I had a poor experience. This time though, the esthetician applied wax onto my right eyebrow area 3 times... now, I’ve had some stubborn hairs before that required 2 passes, but if a stubborn hair wouldn’t come out in those 2 passes, no other esthetician has applied wax for a third time they’ve always just plucked with tweezers. This esthetician didn’t ask about applying wax a third time, nor tell me, “Hey you’ve got a couple stubborn hairs.” To my shock, and frankly pain, she did the entire strip a third time and now my skin is more than the “irritated” she proclaimed it would be. My skin is actually raw and I’m having to (carefully) apply Neosporin to my eyebrow area and cooling gel creams to try and get some comfort and relief and to try and heal the area. So... thanks for the wax burn, I suppose. I had heard nothing but good things about this place but won’t be coming back myself after this.

First time I tried this place and I have to say that it was a pleasant surprise. I made an appointment, however, found out later that night (after the store was already closed) that I have had a scheduling conflict for next day’s appointment. So I left an email message not expecting that I could get the time changed but the next morning I had a text message letting me k ow that the time was successfully changed! Great, last minute response!The waxing was fine as well. And the price I feel was reasonable depending what you really wanted to get out of it. I went to other salons before and the waxing price was always firm even though I never wanted the whole package; hence, I like the fact that they for example break up the Brazilian wax: $35 basic and then you add on to your liking.

I figured I’d give this spot one more try before i marked it off of my list .I frequently get Brazilian waxes but this one was by far the most painful & it’s still a decent amount of hair down there . I went here out of convenience and I honestly regret it. Unfortunately I’m not satisfied with my Brazilian at all & will be sticking to my regular spot from now on.
