I looked at the reviews online thinking it was gonna be the best eyebrow wax I’ve ever gotten. I went in no problems originally, I go into the room everything‘s fine and then I noticed how small my eyebrows had gotten. I asked her to trim the top of my eyebrows instead I got on proportionate and irregular looking eyebrows. They are totally uneven and I will be going home and doing them myself better. I’m not 100% sure of her name but i know it started with a Z. One of the worst waxes i’ve ever gotten.

I’ve been coming here for the better part of a year now and have seen several different waxing specialists there and ALL of them have been top notch, talented, skilled women. They make you feel at ease and comfortable and will go above and beyond to make sure you’re educated on how to take care of your skin after the sessions. You may have to wait at busier times of the day so just know that when you go there may be a few guests in line ahead of you. I’ve always waited because it’s very much worth it. Would highly recommend

Love coming to The Wax Strip! I have been going to their locations since they came to Jacksonville. Such great package pricing and clean atmosphere. They do not double dip and sanitize well.

This is my first time having any part of me waxed. I went to have my legs and under arms done and I was incredibly nervous. Alex made it a smooth process and helped me calm down. The young ladies at the front counter were very sweet as well although I did not get their names. This is an awesome place to go! I was referred by a friend and she let me know they were all amazing and sweet people!

I love the wax strip and in particular this location on Beach Blvd and Hodges. I have always had a positive and friendly experience here and the staff is great! Unfortunately the last time I went I noticed when I came out of the bathroom that the fabric that is used, was piled up in a box with some large pieces falling out. It was a bit unsettling to see the fabric that was about to be put on my body to be laying on the floor beside the bathroom. I will absolutely continue being a customer of the wax strip but I do hope that there is more attention to cleanliness and sanitation on this matter.

I usually go there for my face waxing but this was the first time Ive went for a Brazilian. I called right at 9 and got an appt at 945 with Rose and she was amazing. The waxing was quick and one of the most painless waxes Ive ever had. She was so nice and sweet!!

Always pleasant staff! Very private and discrete. Professional job with smooth results every time. If there is a straggler or two from my Brazilian I just go back with in 7 days and the touch up is free!

The person that did my first Brazilian wax did a phenomenal job. She made sure I was okay during the whole process and kept me occupied with conversation. It was easy to get through all of it with her friendliness! I usually come here for underarms and eyebrow as well and never had any problems with it.

Besides the fact that I couldnt get half of my services because they are following a mandate on masks, which actually doesnt apply to salons where services require removal of masks, but this salon is enforcing it at all times, I guess because they are illiterate, it was great. Good thing the restaurant I ate at last night has some sense, or Id be starving right now 🙄

Tiffany is extraordinary. No matter what service I need, she is patient, thorough and always happy to make sure I leave looking my best. Ive recommended many customers and have been a customer for over 3 years. Ill never go to anyone else.I recommend everyone I know to the Wax Strip but specially ask for Tiffany. I see Alex every single time by request. She is the best. So personable and friendly and remembers who I am! We can pick up the same conversation we were having weeks prior. Will never go anywhere else.

I made the switch here from Lunchbox in Riverside and Im so happy I did. The service is much better! The prices are way better, too. The atmosphere is laid back, but the facility is still very clean.

I like the place. Theres no luxury here but the place is clean and the staff is friendly and consistent. They have loyalty and referral programs, as well as package discounts. They use soft was for their Brazilians instead of hard wax but, honestly, their soft with a well drained professional does the trick.

The staff here is always very prompt and welcoming. Shop is always clean and neat. Tiffany is my go to person but when shes not available, everyone is great.

Other employees are in such a rush to get to the next client to the point that they miss so much hair. I love this place! They are always quick with walk-ins and make you feel very comfortable. They are also one of very few places that offer touch ups after your service and they are always running deals!

Ive been coming here for 5 years and I LOVE it! They do walk ins ONLY, which means sometimes there may be a wait, however Target is next door and if your name gets called while youre not there, youll be next once you return. The staff are friendly and the packages are awesome! If you come right after work (like everybody else) there will be a wait - deal with it.
