Service was done on time and tire prices were reasonable.

After being told at Conrads two blocks away that to plug a tire with a nail in it would take 3 hours, I pulled into NTB and was down the road completely satisfied in a mere 30 minutes. Great experience to have a operation actually recognize that folks time is valuable. Good on ya NTB staff on mayfield road👍

I stopped into NTB-Mayfield because my tire kept losing air. I didnt have an appointment. Robin took it back right away, found a screw in the tire, had it repaired and I was on my way in less than 45 minutes! Thanks Robin and crew!

Had a tire shake all.of a sudden on 271 near chagrin blvd. Got off and found 2 lugnut bolts sheared off and only 2 lugnuts on tire called NTB they said tighten up as tight as possible and drive it slowly here we will fix you up. Mind you was 430 pm. Limped to there location 4 miles away and they got us right in and back.on the road. Thanks!!

Great place!! I had bad work done at another location, which created a huge issue. i took my truck to this location, Jerry & Jeff were very courteous, calm, and explained everything to me. Had an excellent experience when my Jeep needed some emergency tlc because a cylinder misfired last week. I didnt have an appointment in advance and they got me in and had my spark plug and starter coil replaced within about 2.5 hours while being understaffed and busy. Convenient, relatively affordable, and they did a nice job.

Got a flat and needed a new tire in a pinch. These guys helped me out when still very busy, and for a VERY good price. Great service too. I’ll be back anytime I need anything they handle.

Terrible place to take your car. Drive an hour to get a wheel alignment after calling to make sure it could be done then when I get there they tell me that they can not do it.

I purchased 2 Michelin Defender T + H tires. My appointment was for 2:30 and by 3:00, my tires were installed and I was on my way. Service is always top notch. I prefer this NTB for several reasons: 1. The phone is always answered by an associate. 2. If the item is not in stock at this location, other locations are searched. 3. The customer is valued. 4. I have always been pleased with the services.

I was shocked when I walked in, I came in only for my brakes to get done under warranty, thats the only time i come to this store, But to my surprise, I saw a old friend Dennis who was the manager years ago and took great care of me. Now he is back, We talked for almost a hour about the last 9 years since he has been gone. Glad to see him back, I will be coming back. The thing about Dennis was he always made you feel like family. Even through he took your money.

Great service, I called on a Sunday and they got me in even though they were very busy. Had a problem with one of my tires. They were very accommodating and said as long as I was in no hurry they would get it done for me by the end of day and they did.

I bought new tires yesterday from NTB. I was very pleased with the way I was treated. Every one was very nice and even told me where the Midas location was. Bundle up though, its a tad chilly in the waiting area!😄

It was 7:30 on a rainy night and I am driving home and all of a sudden I hear a thump, thump, thump and feel a vibration coming from my front end.Then my tire pressure light comes on. What do I do? Most of the shops are closed. I called Brian Fleming at NTB Mayfield Heights and told him my situation. He said bring it in and they would get it fixed tonight, even though closing time was fast approaching. I arrived at the shop by 7:45 and was back on the road by 8:05. The tire was not repairable as there was a huge gash in the inside sidewall, which he showed me, however they had a suitable replacement. All in all a bad situation turned out well thanks to Brian. I didnt get stuck on the road nor did I have to miss a day of work to get the tire replaced. Thanks again Brian!!

Bruce and Billy were so nice and helpful and made me an appointment that I was even a little late to right before they close so I could get an oil change after my late shift at work. They did not try to sell me stuff I didn’t go in for and even pulled my car up to the door so I wouldn’t have to walk in the rain. Will definitely be going back!

This location has GREAT customer service! I walked in today to inquire about getting an oil change, Brian the store manager provided excellent service from the beginning to end. He found the time to fit me in, even though I rescheduled twice after that 😩 lol, he still managed to get me in the same day and taken care of last minute. He even mentioned the discounts that were available where most places don’t. The wait was no time, and Brian and his staff were very friendly. I will definitely revisit and would HIGHLY recommend this location. It will save you the time and headache, you’ll thank me later :)

Amazing service my family drove from Columbus and noticed a cut in the side wall of the rear passenger tire. Bruce was straight up on the phone and got us in within minutes of my call. He gave us a great deal on 4 tires. And my brother in law got an oil change while we waited. The tech came out to tell me about 2 broken links for the front sway bar. I added that to the list to do. Great service and a good price.

I rarely post but want to state that Brian (Store Manager) and his team at the Mayfield NTB are AWESOME! Not only were they able to assist me with finding out what the previous mechanic did with my car but they also fixed it! I stopped in after noticing I was quickly losing tire pressure in one of my back tires. During my travel home, I ran over a v-shaped metal object puncturing the tire near the side wall. The crew tonight did a wonderful job repairing my tire. Brian also went the extra mile by providing visual demonstration of what is meant by a tire’s side wall. I was in the road within 20 minutes and paid nothing for the repair. When I purchased my tires last winter, I opted for the additional road hazard protection. It came in handy tonight!

I went to them because I was told an appointment would be made for me to get a bulb replaced today. I arrived and was told to wait for another employee the one I spoke with yesterday. After waiting for about 20 minutes I attempted to ask the employee how long would it take before the other employee come up. The employee said in a few minutes. Well I waited a little longer. I stepped outside and saw the employee I was waiting for outside smoking a cigarette. I decided to take my business elsewhere.

Person at reception area (John) slow, unprofessional. My vehicle was ready and he kept me waiting as he waited on people who were NOT OF COLOR AS MYSELF!

Told me my car was out of alignment. I paid for an alignment and afterward the car felt off. Took it to a different NTB and they said it was out. Got it aligned, then came back to Mayfield branch to complain. Mayfield location checked it 30 minutes after it was aligned by Beachwood NTB and said it was starting to go out of alignment again. They refunded my money and said probably a mechanical issue with my car. A week later, a more reputable business across the street that is privately owned verified it was fine. I will never return to another NTB. This was my second time dealing with this branch, and both times were frustrating.

I paid for an oil change and a tire rotation about one hour later I got my oil change done perfectly but when I left the place I realized that they did not rotate my tires I paid for both rotation for my tires and oil change they treated me and I recommend never going back there again

Ive been to several NTB locations and this one could use some improvements. Not the friendliest or most helpful staff. It just makes me less likely to return for follow up service. The biggest perks are the discounts.

They do good work pricey

I’ve been using NTB for years and years. As I have moved across states I’ve found the service consistently positive. Since moving to Ohio, I have used the Mayfield Heights store twice with success. Today I went in and was told I’d need to make an appointment for later in the week just to have a tire looked at. Not a huge deal but it’s never happened before and when I seemed surprised the guy behind the desk acted like I was an idiot. I don’t like being talked down to, and I won’t be returning.

I came in for a simple oil change, the manager Dennis took to my car and there was a lot wrong, and the est was over $2000 dollars. Im a college kid and just dont have that kind of money. When we talked Dennis said the whole thing did not need to be done, we did the safety thing, which were my brakes. And he gave me a est for the rest and said in time just work on a few at a time. Its very rare you find a place the was so professional, and not pushy. Being a women I know some places take advantage and push stuff on you. I took my car in for a weird noise and had great service. Brian got us in right away, kept me apprised of what the mechanic team was looking at and finding, and gave me a no-pressure rundown of options for longterm savings. Jeff took care of the work on the car and was very thorough and completely resolved my problem. (And there was no suggestion of doing additional work -- at OTHER places I have often felt like I go in for one thing and they try to get me to do a bunch of unnecessary stuff. NOT here.) I have bought tires at NTB before because of great prices, but now they are my top choice for service on my car.

They tried to take advantage of me. Tried charging me for more than what we agreed upon. Then after being charged an arm and a leg I picked my car up to find it completely covered in mud on my drivers side interior. The only reason I’m giving even one star is for the gentleman who apologized and wiped it down.

Always hot on the upsell but they are open some hours other mechanics arent. Check them out for tires and mechanical work when your 8-5 mechanic isnt open, they can help! 🤓

Im sitting here waiting for my car so Ill leave a review for the actual work at a later date. But, walking in the door I was greeted by Brian who made me feel like my opinion mattered. He ask questions he even explained what he meant by using the tire board for tread life in the store. Im a visual person so this was great for me. Im sure most women can relate when you walk into auto spots the men egos come out. But, not here. I knew a few things myself though lol!! So service was great. He guaranteed work by having the best mechanic in the city (Jeff) so hopefully when I return with my next review Ill be able to have 5 stars again. No one really likes to do it but if you have to do some adulting for your vehicle come on by to NTB (Mayfield RD).

Ive been going to this Mayfield Heights location since at least 2011 - two different cars - and Im a big fan. Always thorough, always honest seems to be their motto. When my last car exceeded 130,000 miles I went in and they told me several things that needed to be done, including a repair of a botched job from another shop further east down the street. I hesitated at the list and they prioritized it for me - safety vs. performance vs. convenience - and we came up with a good plan that got me another 40,000 miles out of the car without making unnecessary investments. I just had my winter tires swapped off and they completed the job 30 minutes faster than estimated. Realize that sometimes they are quite busy, and Ive seen emergencies come in that they try not to turn away, so if you leave your car with them to be repaired, expect that it will take the day because youre telling them youre not in a rush. If you can stay at the shop you will get time updates and, if needed, they will show you what needs to be done - fastest way to get service if your day is flexible.

My car was making a horrible noise so I called NTB on Mayfield Riad. Marc told me to come right in. Brian, the manager, explained what was going on and even took me back to show me while the car was on the lift. That immediately impressed me, because in the past, at another place (out of town), I was treated like a “dumb female” who knows nothing about cars. I come from a family that owned. a dealership for 60 years. The work was done in a timely fashion and Brian was wonderful to deal with! I trust NTB implicitly and would definitely go back. In the past 8+ years I have never had any issues with my 4 vehicles I have taken in until now. Called up the store to see what it would cost to have tires and rims installed on my wifes car. Went in and the manager had a opening at that moment due to 2 cancellations. During the write up I specifically ask that they be careful with the rims there taking off and the manager confirms that they will. The whole purpose of of me swapping out the tire and rim was to protect the custom rim otherwise I would have just thrown snow tires on the rim. They finish the vehicle in about a hour and load my custom rims back inside the vehicle. Before I could get home I inspect the rims and I see damage. Prior to the work I had my wife take pictures of the rims just for this reason. I go back in and let the manager know that theirs damage. He starts to inspect damage and the pictures to compare. Says his techs lay the rims flat so he doesnt see how they were damaged. From observance it looked like something was dropped on it from the imprint like the handle or trigger from the impact gun. Instead of checking with his technician ( I found out later other technicians call him Big Dummy) to see what he did he continued inspect the rim and my photos. He points out in the picture damage by the center of the rim (actually dust/dirt) so I go to get the rims to prove theirs no damage. In the process of trying to open the door one my wheels smashes the door glass (manager claims is $2000 to repair). So manager says its a wash now. ??????? Lesson learned! Do a walk thru inspection prior and one after. While sitting in the parking lot for about 20 minutes I sent pictures of the damage to the customization shop to see if and what it was going to cost me to repair my rims. I was parked next to a Terminex truck that was next to be serviced by the same technician that damaged my rims. He didnt come out until I pulled off which is really suspect. Just to be safe I took the car in to another shop and just to find out one of the lug nuts wasnt tightened. Highly disappointing.

I had a flat tire went somewhere else they said they were to busy to fix the tire so I stopped NTB tires they said sure come right in it was the perfect time to come on a Sunday they did the job less than a half an hour go to NTB fast friendly people and service 😄

I went in to the Mayfield NTB with my brother and was questioning wether he should purchase winter tires OR all seasons . Brian, (store manager ), directed me and educated us on the best and most economical tire for his car. My brother purchased four new all season tires at a good cost, ( I checked competition), and left very satisfied with Brian and the NTB team.

They provided the service that I needed; however, the white guy who looks like Santa is very rude and have poor customer service. My recommendation is for him to take a formal customer service training. He has such a smart moth and shows very little pactience. One example, if a customer ask where to sign, Santa your respons shouldn’t be “I just told you.” You’re talking to adults not children Mr. Rude. If the guy who looks like Santana is there in suggest going to a different location. He is very rude and condescending.

They are way over priced! They try to sell you tires with 1, 2 free, but you MUST pay for road hazard etc ends up being the same price, no real free stuff. Repairs are very expensive.

This happened a few years ago, they damaged my car pulling out of the bay. They said theyd pay to repair it, never did. I had to take them to court, no one showed up and I won my case. FU NTB, not surprised about your 1 overall review on here, wow its probably the worst rated tire shop in maybe all of Ohio. You guys just suck.

This place is a RIP OFF they hide behind small print which they do not give you a copy of and try to up sell you on all matters. I went in to have one tire that had a bubble on the side wall and we had the road hazard protection. First off he stated that all the tires were bad that we just brought from them with less that 20,000 miles on them, then he stated that he would not honor the road hazard unless we showed him 6 receipts of tire rotations since we did not get our rotation at NTB which we did. Then he presented a quote for 4 new tire that was $300.00 more than what we paid for the old tires with the the road hazard saving.We also notice that he did not give us a receipt just the copy of the work order after he stated that we would provide the road hazoradus information all in all I had to pay $106 for a tire replacement and was told I would have to buy road hazard protection on the new tire. I will never do business with NTB again in my life time. RIP OFF CENTER

I took my car the evening before Thanksgiving of 2016 to have Four new tires put on along with an alignment. I bought additional service packages for the life of the tire and alignment. The gentleman who helped me was very vocal about the fact that it was the evening before Thanksgiving and he only wanted to go home and did not want to be there nor continue working. They closd at 8 oclock and I was being rushed out the door at that time. I did not realize until I got home that the passenger side of my vehicle have been scraped alongside their building breaking my bumper and causing a total of $3000 worth of damage. As I had already left they refused to pay for any of the damage even though I noticed it as soon as I got home and they were already closed. I filed a police report and the officer even stated that it was fresh paint and the damage had recently occurred, however that was not enough for national tire and battery nor their insurance and they denied my claim. So now Im stuck with $3000 worth of damage and am unsure how I am supposed to feel safe about bringing my tires and vehicle back to a national tire and battery to receive the service that I paid for going forward. If you were interested in tires or any other service look elsewhere

This place is TERRIBLE. The first time I went in for some work I left with a broken purge valve. Found out when my car wouldnt start after I got gas. They told me it was a coincidence. 4 months later I get an inspection and oil change and again right after leaving when I turned my air on in the car it makes a terrible noise. Also heard other weird noises Ive never heard. Probably another COINCIDENCE. Also when you apply for the credit card you dont get a rebate. Thats also a lie.
