My nails look nothing like the picture I showed them. I didn’t want to be a hassle so I just payed and left. My pedicure however was wonderful. I wished I had a better experience.

I checked out reviews and photos for many salons before choosing serenity nails, they had the best photos and the nails looked great! Very natural and not lumpy, wonky, or thick. Unfortunately, what I received was all three descriptions listed previous. In addition to the glued tips lifting off only after a few days. I hate complaining, being picky, or even pointing out issues. I hadn’t had my nails done in over ten years at a nail salon because every time I went, same experience. Lack of attention to detail, and bad results. For some reason employees of some nail salons must think that the customers do not know what a good set of acrylics look like. Unfortunately this experience led me right back to buying a nail drill on Amazon while sitting in the pedicure chair. I guess I will be going back to my self taught ways.I encourage almost anyone to teach themselves, Rather than continuing to spend your money on a set of nails that are done by someone who could not literally care less about how they look when you walk out of the salon.

Long does an amazing job....BUT appointments are never kept and the wait in my experiences has ranged from 1.5 hours behind to 45 minutes to I just walked out after a 35 minute wait out of frustration. The 1.5 hour was I a Saturday afternoon, unacceptable but hey things happen....the 45 was after work on A weekday....today I made am appointment expressed my dissatisfaction of the prior tardiness, asked to be called if he could not do the appointment in a timely fashion....LEFT WORK EARLY.MM.got there 5 minutes early and left 35 minutes after my scheduled time when he still wasnt finished.The Best the manager would do was put me with a newbie, 35 minutes after waiting.....totally UNACCEPTABLE. obviously, I am DONE with this place which is sad for both LONG and I....he does a great job and I Tip WELL

I had to get my past dip acrylics off and when I came in everyone was very friendly. They looked at my reference pic and did it exactly like it was. This is acrylic with gel polish and rhinestones. I had an older man do my nails and he was very friendly and funny. There is social distancing and the areas look clean and sanitary. Will definitely be going back again!

This place is a hidden gem. I can’t believe I lived within a mile of this place for 4 years and didn’t discover this place until after I graduated from UT. Jane is an incredibly talented, over-qualified artist, who can do complicated designs with lots of details, so perfectly. Last time I visited, I told her that I hope she outlives me, just so she can do my nails for the rest of my life. She did my first set of acrylics, and I’ll keep getting them as long as I can (FYI, I code for a living, and she made them the perfect length, so don’t let your keyboard-heavy job keep you from getting your dream nails!) Give them a visit, you’ll thank yourself!

I came here to get a gel pedicure to match my manicure before school started. They have a wide selection of gel nail colors and Tina did an amazing job on my gel pedicure. I am very happy and so glad this place was recommended to me, and I will definitely return!

I got nails done on Thursday birthday was that next Monday and nails came off

They were very fast at the nails. However, the shape is off and the “French tips” still show the acrylic tip that they glued on. I paid 57 dollars plus tip just to have to paint over and reshape my own nails.

I’m very picky with my nails but Henry did an amazing job! He did everything i asked and executed my idea perfectly. Everyone is very nice and tentative. I also got a pedicure by someone else and she did an amazing job as well. Definitely recommend coming here if you want the best experience and the best nails!

I booked an appointment for 10:30am. Express manicure. I walked into the store 10 minutes early but was told that the shop was full and it would be 30 minutes. I waited 20 minutes before leaving. I understand completely being busy but if you’re not properly staffed to handle the appointments you are allowing customers to book online then turn that option off and have clients call directly. I’m not sure I’ll return or recommend this salon to friends or family.

They are very attentive. There is someone always there to greet you and ask what services you are needing. The service is prompt and efficient.

I came in on Sunday, it was not busy at all. The woman who took care of me this time could not even file my nails straight, I had to ask her twice, my nails are now shorter than before, I wanted them to be rounded, she squared them. This was my second visit, the first time was fine. I will give try again, but will specifically ask for someone else.

Terrible Business. I was very upfront in asking about pricing. Asked for a manicure pedicure and said it was $5 more for acrylics. Then the bill came and was $40.00 more than quoted. said they used a higher end acrylic and it costs more Asked for a different color on each nail-no design, just color-and after they were done-upcharged for that. When I spoke to the owner he could care less. Oh and it also took them two and a half hours for a new acrylic set and pedicure. Unless you have time and money to waste-Id run not walk in the other direction.

I went to this nail salon in the morning, hardly any people in there. I usually have a positive experience but not this time. I picked a color and then during the service I was told they did not have the color. So I picked another color. The person doing my nails was rushing, and I don’t know why because like I said, no one was in there. Then he asked me to go wash my hands. When I went back to the sink, I saw the original color I asked for and was highly upset, but my nails were already done, so I let it be. However when I left a review through them, they asked me to call and they would rectify the situation. When I called, the manager said they didn’t have the color before I told him what the color even was. I told him the exact color number and where it was and he still said it wasn’t there, and I know he didn’t take the time to check because of how immediate he was to shut me down.

I got a manicure and a pedicure and gel nails. They do an excellent job, and the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing. They even offer you a drink while youre getting stuff done. My daughter gets acrylic nails put on, and they are always beautiful!

Best nail salon Ive been to in a long time! Jane gave me exactly what I wanted and more. A lilac ombre gel nail with beautiful rhinestone designs! Staff was also very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this place!

Update: after talking with the owner, he scheduled me an appointment to come back in to get them re done. He was very nice and worked around my schedule. Jane, the nail tech did amazing!I asked for a v on my nails and while that looked good, the nude color (which was actually pink) was clumpy on my nails and the nail tech missed a lot of spots. The blue for the v wasn’t dry enough when she used the top coat and it smeared all over the pink/nude color. I told her about this and she said this happens when you use two colors and shrugged her shoulders. Definitely not worth the $43

I had an appointment and after sitting there waiting for 45 minutes was finally told she wouldnt have time to do my nails. If they had told me that when I first walked in, I would not have been upset. I would have rescheduled on had someone else do my nails.

I Had SNS nail dip and the man that did my nails had one so messed up and smugged and didnt fix it. Then 5 days later bc he didnt make the middle thick and strong enough it broke across where the nail tip met my nail and two others were cracking. now iv had them for 9 days and 3 have broke all the way across. I spent alot of money on my visit I am very disappointed.

Service was phenomenal!! Wait was less than desirable!! I had a scheduled appointment and still waited an entire hour before receiving any service!!! 😌 However, once I was assisted service was impeccable!!! Mixed emotions

I have been to Serenity Nails twice & they always do a great job on my nails. Took my mom with me, after she had been to two other nail salons & wasnt happy with her nails from the other nail salons. My mom is very happy with the way her nails look & will be going back to Serenity Nails. Below is my nails, I decided to get a simple French mani on my natural nails & I love 💘it!!!

Edit: they have been much better I decided to give them another chance and they were wonderful. They have more techs on and they are better about time management. My pedicure was amazing. For $35 it involved sugar scrub, oil, and even parrafin wax which was a treat. Im happy to say I will go back to this place regularly as I did before..Ive been coming here regularly and have always had some small issue but they were good about fixing it. This time I allowed an hour and a half to have my nails done before work so there would be no rush. I asked if there was a wait and they said no and I was sat immediately. I then had to wait 45 minutes for someone to even start my nails. They kept saying a few more minutes. Then I asked how long it would take to do my fill in and he said an hour. I told him I only had 45minutes and he said I could pay an extra $25 to get gel nails to get out faster because they made me wait.Now my nails have been sanded down and I had to leave and go to work with awful nails.All they said was oh sorry, come back another day then

After thoroughly reading reviews for nail salons in Knoxville, I chose this one when I saw Jane and all the positive reviews and beautiful photos of her work. She indeed did a great job and she did it so quickly. I removed one star because I made an appointment for 5pm and I arrived at 4:55pm but I still had to wait until 5:30pm.

I had been here once before and absolutely loved it! I thought my dip set was beautiful. I went back and was just so disappointed. Every single one of my nails was a different shape and lopsided. The dip was horrible. The tools were dirty. They couldn’t even bother to change the towel and I was sat and had to put my hand on others dirty nail clippings. I’m typically not super high-strung about this stuff but there’s certain health standards a business has to meet that this place does not! Will not be going back.

Serenity has honestly been a hit or a miss. They have always done a good job but the cleanliness is not up to par. I have witness bugs crawling across the floor and manicure benches. Also, I watched a nail tech switch clients without cleaning their pedicure tools. On top of all this, many times when my nails were being filed down, my skin was as well, and I would end up with cuts from a file that has been used on multiple people.

Jane was awesome, she did my nails the way I wanted.... I have been to several other nail salons, and have not been able to find one that can do designs in the way I request, or simply cant do designs at all.... I also made an appointment, and when I arrived, I didnt have to wait, I was called immediately to go back and get my nails done!! Thanks Serenity Nail/Jane...

I read the recent reviews and they were great. So I thought I’d try this place out, and I called for pricing on a full acrylic set with gel and being coffin shaped, and I got a pricing of $43 from Brian. I’m very picky about my nails and he assured me that it would meet my standards. When we started, I felt like the whole process was rushed. Some are not equal length/ equal angle and that isn’t very good, and I understand that they won’t be perfect but it’s kind of ridiculous. Brian had to go through and redo the base polish because it was uneven. And then I was charged $51 “due to shaping”. The place was clean, but just don’t. Take your money to the one that’s a mile away from campus... not worth it (at least from that tech).

My first time been there, nd I like it they were so generous, very helpful! Thumbs up love the way ma nails turn out beautifuly perfect. But nail polish stil not dry up . I let it dry there for about 15mins not dry mess up 2 nails letf building mess up 2 more I let it dry while was driving .took me 30min to get home, heavy traffic. Nd ny nails still wet,bu the time i got home i mess up i mess up 6 .nd I hate it, it sads meBcuz its still noy dry why? WHY? I will come back but wont leave till its 200% dry up thank you so much for yall kindness.

Long did my pedicure and Jane did my nails. Enjoyable experience from start to finish! I trusted Jane to do whatever she wanted to do and she did not disappoint! Long is crazy sweet. I use to do my own nails but these two reminded me of how relaxing the experience is. They have more than earned my business and I will definitely be back!

I have been going to serenity nails for around four years now and I have never failed to be anything less than impressed. Everyone here always goes above and beyond to make sure that I am satisfied. They also give top notch service and it never fails even though I am a regular, they treat me as if it was my first experience each time. The class and commitment that everybody withholds in this establishment is beyond my expectations each time. Bonus is that they always have some sort of deals going on and always a nice refreshments selection. Not to mention this is probably the only place in Knoxville you can go to that offer so many different types of pedicures. I would also like to point out that during these times that we are in right now facing COVID-19 this establishment has also exceeded the CDC guidelines to make sure that everything is sanitary and clean. I personally would recommend this place 100% over and over again and I would never go anywhere else but serenity nails in Knoxville to get my nails done by Brian or Mary. Everyone there is very nice I give this place a five star plus!!

Sat and waited 75minutes waiting on my 300 appointment. I decided to leave when people were called back without appointments before me and my daughter. Never go here unless you have nothing else to do all day and can stay on them about your waiting time. 75 minutes past appointment time is bad management.

I just had an awesome first experience here. I was having a day where I really just didn’t feel very pretty. I decided to treat myself to a gel manicure and spa pedicure and it.was.heaven! the staff was extremely sweet and even let my very patient boyfriend use a massage chair. everything also seemed super clean. Got my nails done two weeks ago (picture from right after they were done), waited to right a review to see how they lasted. After 2 weeks no nails have broken or chipped, and all rhinestones are still on (Im moderately rough on my hands, raising two kids under 2 and doing dance). Very impressed with their work. Salon was pretty and clean. Highly suggest!

I moved to Knoxville from FL over a year ago and to my surprise, experienced much difficulty in finding a clean, friendly, decently priced nail salon. It truly was MY lucky day stumbling upon, “Serenity Nails,” and being matched with Mary, my nail technician. She was thoughtful, talented, sweet and went above and beyond to make sure I was treated like a queen! By the way, the back massage I received in the pedicure chair was the most incredible I’ve ever had! Mary is a doll, professional and has the best customer service abilities I’ve seen in the nail industry in many years. I truly had the most enjoyable experience. Absolutely loved this place! A good HR co worker girlfriend of mine recommended it. The front desk staff is very friendly as well as all the techs! They smile and are always saying hello making you feel welcome. My nail tech Jane is THE BOMB! She is so creative and talented. I would highly recommend this place to new clients :)

Finally found my go to from this point forward. As a walk in, 3 of us came in and were treated amazingly. There was minor miscommunication, that the receptionist handled and then on to expert care of our feet. The price and service is the best I have yet to receive here in Knoxville TN. I love getting my nails done here. I’ve been going here since I moved to Knoxville, a year ago. When my friends want to get their nails done I bring them here. The nail techs make sure you are happy and satisfied with your nails. They also have great waxing services. This is a wonderful business.

Everyone was nice, but my nail tech got up in the middle of my manicure for a good ten minutes to help other people. Nothing they did wrong, they just really need a receptionist to greet and help people.

A great place to get a little pampering for yourself. Very friendly and professional staff. They did an amazing job on mine and my daughters nails. Today was my first visit to Serenity Nail Spa and I will definitely be back! I treated my mother, grandmother, and sister to the nail services and it was amazing. I called ahead to make sure they were able to accommodate you grandmother’s needs and the receptionist so helpful. She assured me that my grandmother would have a pleasant experience here. When we came in today the receptionist greeted us, asked if we wanted anything to drink, and got more details about my grandmother’s needs. Each of us had a different techinan but all of them were extremely friendly and talented. Each of us are leaving happy with the product. Not only were the staff friendly, but the clientele were also friendly. No one was standoffish. The environment is clean and welcoming. Again, we will definitely be back. I recommend this nail spa to anyone (the elderly and the young).

I have had nothing but positive experiences here, I have been here many times for pretty much all available services, like acrylic& gel nails, pedicure, waxing, massages. They did a great job and were happy to go along with my at times super specific requests when it came to how I wanted my claws to look. Relaxing, clean, professional. Offer drinks to guests, such as water, and other options for 21+ clients. Always a great experience.

Brian is amazingly good at SNS. My nails are beautifully shaped. I had the s serenity in a box pedicure and it was so relaxing!! Definitely worth the upgrade on the pedicure! I would definitely recommend this place! I wont go anywhere else now!

Made an appointment for noon and arrived on time. 30 min of waiting and reminding them a few times, they just kept saying 5 more min. Finally, the nice receptionist came over to start the pedicure but still no concern from the manager that we had been waiting. AVOID THIS PLACE! THEY ARE DISGUSTING, UNSANITARY, AND EXPENSIVE (they hard extra for length and shape of nails. So the price will be $10-$15 more than what they tell you. No other nail shops does this). AVOID BRIAN! He is rude, mean, and will mess up your nail bed. If you mess up your nails, he will give you attitude over a minor fix. He is truly awful. Service here is terrible. The other receptionist who used to work here a couple months ago was amazing and she was always so kind. She made visiting this place bearable. Too bad she does not work here anymore. Will never come back here. Ladies, I know we all go here because it is walking distance from your dorms. But take your money somewhere else!!!!
