Great people. Very kind and aim to please! Prices are great, in my opinion. And that says a lot since Ive only had my nails done a few times in my life and received my first pedicure this month. Just yesterday I got an acrylic refill. Husband also tried a pedicure for the first time. Will be returning. Both of us!

Schedule appointment for my friend and myself for 2:00. We did show up around 1:40 which should not have been a problem because no one was there anyway. I did have my 2 year old with me but he does not cause any problems. The old man that did my nails looked at my child like her was disgusted with him. There was no sign that said kids were not allowed. I ignored the first look but soon after he snatched the chair remote from my arm rest because my son touched it. If he had a problem with my son being there he could have said something to me instead of being rude towards us. In the process of getting my nails done, he hit my legs twice and forced my legs down. At this point, I was over this old man so I told him I was done and I did not want anything else. I still was required to pay $40 even though I did not finish the pedicure. If I can give 0 stars I would. Do not recommend this place.

The nail and pedicure techs were super nice! Peter did my nails and worked with me to figure out what to do since it was my first time there. Got the best pedicure/foot massage of my life. I wish I could remember his name! Josh, I think!Good experience in a cute quite little nail spa. 10/10 would recommend. Especially since it wasnt super expensive.

As a newer customer I find VIP Nails to be a comfortable place to have my nails done. I never feel rushed and they do a really good job.

Apparently the appointment they set up for my daughter and I was close to closing time. Was made to pay $90+ BEFORE OUR NAILS WERE DONE. A WONDERFUL lady did my 12 year old daughters nails......the guy who did mine was hateful and rude and REALLY messed up my nails and then wouldnt fix them unless I paid more. He insinuated I was on drugs because I was tired 😩 OH COME ON!!!!! I AINT NEVER! I wouldnt recommend it!

Got my wedding nails done here. I didnt have an appointment and only waited 5 minutes. The service was quick and awesome, and my husband and I loved my nails! I would definitely return.

Total rip off. 35$ for pedicure and 25 for gel on toes. Plus with a mani wanted 25. I don’t mind the prices for the gel but to not include it in your pedicure price was insane! Next time going somewhere else. This place looked very nice though, but was extremely rushed in and out!

Complete experience with friendly stadd that paid attention to detail, highest pride in cleanliness and calm atmosphere. Did not feel rushed or just like another client.

So, I havent gotten my nails done in a while but lets start with the good stuff,The gentleman that did my nails, took me in quick, was nice, and the place was clean, and had protective measures in place for covid.Now for the bad, my nails are uneven, very chunky not what I was expecting.Will not be returning unfortunately.

Love this place! My manicurist, Francis, is the best. He cares about my nails but he also cares about me as a person. Try the VIP pedicure, I dare you - its so addictive and Rachel and Helen will have you feeling like youre walking on a cloud! The atmosphere is very clean and relaxing. I used to often go to the nail salon in the mall, but it was recently closed down so this was my first ever coming here. I had a fantastic experience, the lady that did my pedicure was very friendly and knew exactly what she was doing. I will definitely be coming back here the next time I need my nails done.

My go to place for my eyebrows and pedicures. Its never too busy but I think its because a lot of people dont know about this place, which is honestly one of the things I love the most. Ive gone to other places in town that friends have recommended and they were super busy and I didnt have the best experience. However, here they have always done a wonderful job and I have been going here for the past 3 years. Recently I have recommended two of my friends to this place and they also enjoy as much as I do.

After living in Jacksonville for 7 years, I have tried almost everywhere for my nails! This is by far the BEST salon in the area! I always have a great conversation with the owner, my nails look amazing (gel manicure or acrylics) and by far always one of the best pedicures of my life! We PCS soon and I again will have to start a search, wish I could pack them up with me!

I have been coming here for 5+ years and they are awesome! I’ve been to many other places in town, and they do not compare to this place. Helen, Peter, Lily and Francis are awesome!!!! I love them all. They will stay late to accommodate my late work schedule. I always get a warm welcome when I arrrive, and they are never afraid to try something new. They have brand new state of the art massaging pedicure chairs. Each chair has plastic covers for each bowl for extra sanitary precautions. They also have 2 mini pedicure chairs for children. There are brand new tables, new equipment, and chairs for the customers as well. This place is THE BEST IN JACKSONVILLE! Do not go anywhere else!!! If there is a wait, I recommend waiting or coming back. Do not go anywhere else, you won’t regret it. If a nail breaks, they’ll fix it at no charge. They are all great people. Love them.

Took my great nephew, his first time getting a pedi. He enjoyed it and we will be back.

Wanted to get my nails done on a Sunday. Went to AJ’s nails. They were supposed to open at 11am. There was a line at the door by 11:05. I waited 15 minutes they still weren’t open. Bad business not to be open with your posted hours. I decided I would go elsewhere to spend my money and I’m really happy I did. Went to VIP Nails and had an amazing experience. Nail technician was very gentle and took her time. And guess what?! They were open at their posted hours! Tools are clean and taken out of their individual sterile packages. All staff were very friendly and pleasant. I will definitely be back! If you haven’t tried it here definitely do! My nails and toes look great! 😊

Gel nail polish done on Wed started peeling on Fri. Did not remove old nail polish off. Horrible service. Will not be back!

Clean, nice staff, and fast. Went with some friends of mine and they sat us next to each other. The quality of work was great for my gel French-tips and my friends liked their powder tips.

It was a very nice massage but the wait is a little long because there is usually just 3 people working but other that the wait it was very nice

One star for cleanliness . Less than two weeks ago I stopped in on an early Saturday afternoon for a simple manicure . Business was slow with only one customer besides myself . The place looks nice and it’s very clean . However, the man that did the manicure for me was extremely rude . I don’t expect every nail tech to be chatty or to even talk to me, but I do expect professional service . This was far from it, and besides him being rude it was the worst manicure I’ve ever gotten . He rushed through the entire process . I smiled politely and paid just to get out of there .

If I could give it a zero I would. I Have been here over an hour and a half. Yet, still have not been seen I ended up getting up due to such poor service. If you want poor service and Spend all day then this is the place for you.

The guy carelessly used his tools on my nails while having his eyes wandering elsewhere. His file was scratching my other fingers while filing my nails and that gave me a lot of discomfort. I requested dip powder and he saw that he had done a bad job (because I saw him look at my nails back and forth) but continued on without caring to fix it. Because I work at a salon, I expected him to fix my nails after realizing he had done a bad job, but since he let me leave with bad nails, I decided I would leave this review instead. Also, he didnt measure the nail tips to match my nail width before gluing; he randomly guessed and glued them on. Some of them dont fill my whole nail. Im disappointed.

The first time I went to get my nails done the gentleman barely spoke to my friend and I, we also asked for GEL NAILS and he proceeded putting on acrylics and using a clear gel coat with the light to cure the gel (even though the actual nail is acrylic) my nails were uneven and different shapes. A few weeks later I decided Id give them another chance and the man realized how bad my nails looked and asked who did your nails when I said you did he got frustrated and didnt talk to me the rest of the time and also charged me $25 just to get my nails filled!!!!Ultimately they are extremely rude, and charging people for gel nails when in fact they are putting on acrylics and dont think people will notice😡😡😡

I thought it was kinda fishy that there were no cars out front on a Saturday. While I was looking at the service menu and business cards, I noticed that first time customers get 20% off. Unfortunately, that didnt happen. It would have been nice to get the discount for 3 pedicures but beside that... My pedi was painful, tickleish, and cheaply done. The lady seemed nice but the service we got was lousy. We were there for 2 1/2 hours because we had to be serviced by one person. I dont even live in Jacksonville but I will not return to this nail salon.

Walked in on a Saturday to attempt to get my nails done or fixed that another salon messed up I got refused service there was nobody in there I would not come to the salon ever. Clearly they do not want business.
