I’ve been fortunate enough to purchase some amazing pieces for my wife and myself here. While we aren’t the multi-millionaire “price is no concern” family, we have always been treated amazingly and our children are greeted by name when we come in. Their jeweler is phenomenal, their prices are better than you’ll find anywhere else and their quality is unmatched. Even when I commissioned a custom piece (needed a custom clasp for a pearl brought back from Oman), the result was nothing short of stunning. Lastly, if you don’t see it in the store, just ask, because they likely already have or will be able to make what you are looking for. Get away from the big name stores and go with family owned trustworthy locals who have been and will continue to be our go-to for fine jewelry!

I had the most fantastic experience with Miriam at the San Marco branch of Miriam’s Jewelry! I wanted my wedding ring set completely redesigned using the original three diamonds. The rings needed to be made from scratch. They came out better than I anticipated, Miriam heard every word I said, understood exactly what I wanted, and made sure that’s what I got. I wanted to have an heirloom necklace made for my daughters wedding. Miriams in San Marco was so receptive to my idea. Their jeweler Paulo was able make a customized pendant in the shape of a lotus flower. My daughter loved it! I would definitely recommend them.

I had gone in with him previously and given him ideas on what I liked but wasnt sure he would remember the exact one that was my favorite. Leah made sure he got exactly what I had picked. My husband got my wedding ring there 16 years ago and a new band this year for our anniversary. All of my most special gifts have come from Miriams. My daughter loves everything in the store too. I literally drive 45 minutes just to go to this particular jewelry store. Why? The jewelry is not just unique and amazing, pricing is oh so fair but the customer service is so very personable and genuine I will always count this jeweler has my Go-to! It’s nice that they remember you even after just one visit. The customer service efforts are not forced and come naturally. They complete excellent repairs and are very fast. You’ll never need to call to check because they will contact you quickly with updates. Purchase locally and support local businesses.

Went in to have the staff look at a few pieces to potentially sell. They have nobody on staff to review the jewelry and originally the man said he’d offer a price for one set of earrings, then changed his mind.I had purchased a chain previously and explained that, but really felt a bit like they could have cared a less that I also wanted to replace a stone for a ring I had. The dog they have was cute, and that was about the highlight. I left my info for them to contact me for when the ONLY person that can value anything for the 2 days a week would even be in the store. 20 minutes later, I went to a great store in Deerwood( Deerwood Jewelry on Southside next to Moes) and had a wonderful experience, was treated very well, and even got a super price on a chain I’d been looking for.

I have shopped Miriam’s for over 30 year. I have always been very pleased with my purchases and have always been complimented on them.They have always taken care of my repairs fast and with great workmanship. It is always a pleasure to see her and her staff.This shop is a true piece of eye candy.

A friend told me that this would be a great place to sell my wedding ring. I called and they said yes they purchase jewelry. So I went in, and the staff was very rude. While my 8K ring and bands might not be a huge diamond. They made it sound like it came from a bubble gum machine. It’s from Underwood’s, another local high end jewelry store. Once I was in the shop, they also told me they only purchase 3 carat or larger rings, or I could put it on consignment, but I would have to leave it there for someone to look at. Is there a huge market of people selling their 3carat diamonds???? It was ridiculous. I would never shop here just from this experience, and the rudeness.

I made my first purchase here yesterday. I went in with just a general idea that I wanted a unique piece for my wifes birthday that she could wear regularly, and not being tied to any particular type of jewelry. Benji entertained my questions, gave me her undivided time, and helped me settle on a truly unique estate piece that I know my wife will love. Thank you, Benji! I should also say there was another kind lady that was also very helpful, but I cannot recall her name. The negative reviews here certainly do not reflect my experience.

I dont remember what the ladys name was but our sales person was extremely rude and she took forever to come help us. It was extremely obvious to both me and my now fiance that she was judging us I dont know if it was because of our clothes or because of our car but she obviously assumed we didnt have enough money to shop in their store (surprise nasty lady we had enough money to get whatever ring we wanted)... we went and looked at several other jewelry stores in town and I found exactly what I wanted for $1,500 less than that nasty woman quoted me. And the setting is much more beautiful than the one Miriams had... and the sales person at the other jewelry store didnt argue with me over why I didnt want to spend so much money on a platinum ring and simply gave me what I wanted.

She has made a repeat customer out of me and many of my friends. I often find what Im looking for in the inventory she has in the San Marco location and have only had to order-in an item once. Dont listen to the negative reviews on here. I went here to sell an engagement ring and I had instant, amazing service. The entire staff was honest, friendly and helpful. Even though she had no vested interest in my diamond, Miriam sent went out of her way to help me and give me ammunition and information I needed to help sell my diamond. This should be your first stop when youre in the market. This place is seriously amazing. Very much a family owned atmosphere with no hint of big corporation greed.

They stayed open late for me on Valentines Day in an attempt to help me save my marriage. The service I received there was better than any other jewelry store that I have frequented, in Jacksonville. I will now, do all my jewelry shopping at Miriams.

I left a ring to be on consignment, I went in 2 months later and the counter staff couldnt find it as it turns out they where simply keeping the ring put away in a box, undisplayed with no intentions of attempting to sell it, with all intentions of me selling it to them for less than its worth. I know this because 2 Cash for Gold/Diamond store offered more, though Id not sell it to them either, and they where just going to tear it apart for parts. Avoid Miriams Jewelers and youll be better off.

I had the best experience with Miriams. I recently purchased a engagement ring for my girlfriend now fiancé. The staff is unbelievably helpful and of course Benji my sales person. I went there several times to look at stones. Probably about 5-6 times maybe more. Even if Benji wasnt there someone alway stepped right up to show me the different diamonds and settings as well. My fiancé loved the ring! Thanks Miriams for all the help and patience with me to find the perfect ring!

I was the first of all my girlfriends to get married. When they ask where they should go, I always tell them Miriams is somewhere they should avoid. The owner/manager (perhaps Miriam herself) was unbelievably rude. I went in to get an estimate about a repair and look at their selection to possibly purchase another wedding ring. I should have left the first time she was unabashedly rude to us, but there was a ring and charm I was interested in so I tried to placate her rude attitude and comments. She tried to gouge me on the charm, had us waiting for almost an hour for no reason, and her demeanor made it clear that, no matter how much I liked the ring, it wasnt worth giving her a dime of my money. Her sales girls just looked ashamed and kept apologizing for her behavior, but I wont be back.

I didnt even have a chance to walk inside, I was rudely greeted at the door and rudely glared at from the sales men and women at the counter. I sincerely feel that people of color are not welcomed here.
