These guys were amazing! Im in the military and only in town for a few days to be with my family and get married. Found out my ring was too big when I arrived with no time to send it to get resized. These guys did it in house and had it done in 24 hours! I had it in time for my wedding. Amazing and kind people and superior customer service. Highly recommend!!

I figured since this is Veteren owned youd be more attentive and detailed oriented. I was told that Id get a call within two weeks. I waited a whole month. Called the store and was told I was swamped with other peoples orders. UNACCEPTABLE and UNPROFESSIONAL! Will never come here ever again. Hire more people if you cant keep up.

Im so genuinely disheartened after my experience with The Corner Jeweler. Its rare that I bother even writing a review, but I feel the need to warn others about the lack of care and professionalism that you could receive, just as I did. I dropped a 25 year old ring off for resizing and repairing the prongs. This ring was left to me and holds significant value both emotionally and monetarily. When I looked into a jeweler to use, I very much wanted to support a small business that did everything in-house. And even better that this is a veteran owned business. Heres the timeline:3/3/21: called The CJ to inquire about my needs, got quoted 2 weeks turn around time3/4/21: dropped my ring off at the CJ at 11:15 a.m. and was told it would take a week.- I waited 3 weeks because Im generally a patient person and dont mind waiting if theres communication.3/23/21: I called and got the receptionist (I believe?) And asked about the status of my ring. After being on hold, she came back to ask me more info and a description of the ring. I started to get worried and ask if something had happened. She assured me nothing could happen and that they take great care in what they do. After another brief hold, she informed me that my ring was currently being worked on and should be ready soon.4/1/21: STILL NO RING. STILL NO UPDATE. So I call again. This time I spoke directly to the jeweler and was told that he was swamped and doing work for everyone else and told me he would move my ring to being a top priority.Okay. Im still trying to be understanding at this point and said I understand and would look forward to hearing from them soon.4/13/21: As you can guess from the rating, still no ring, still no update. I went directly into the store without calling ahead and asked for my ring back. I explained it wasnt a pick up as I didnt think any work had been completed.So the receptionist (?) searches for my ring amongst the pick ups. Nope, not there. Nor is it in any of the other storage.THEY MISPLACED MY RING.Now this is a problem for obvious reasons, but things can happen. I wait several more minutes as I hear a decent bit of whats obviously a panic search in the back and amongst the other stored possessions. I dont believe the jeweler intended for me to hear him, but he told the receptionist very quietly that it had slid down.Very, very fortunately, they were able to find my ring, and as expected, it hadnt left the baggie since the day I dropped it off.Heres what all of this tells me:1. They do not have a system in which they keep track of a persons jewelry or if they even have it in their possession past when they should.2. I was lied to, not once but TWICE, even directly from the jeweler. And the lies, were basic BS excuses given to quiet annoying customers.3. Even after calling and it being very obvious there was a problem on their end, no one bothered to look into it past the pick up box. And not once has anyone reached out to update me. Why? Because they didnt even know they had misplaced it. Because no one bothered to actually LOOK.This is an integrity and morality issue. And I find that to be highly concerning when youre being trusted with items that hold such high sentimental value. After being handed my ring, no apology or explanation was given. The jeweler sat down and didnt look at me again. Over a month late, misplaced, and lied to. And the people working here cant even apologize when they really, really screwed up. If you want to come here, just bear in mind that a ton of great reviews matter very little if they cant act as professionals when it counts.

This is the place to go if you want a jeweler and not just a salesman. I have gone here for several reasons since moving to Jacksonville. 1) I walked in and asked for an appraisal on a gold necklace which was handled quickly and free of charge. 2) I had a broken ring on my necklace that needed repaired. It was taken care of same day with minimal cost. 3) I walked in and requested him craft baby rings (replicas of our sons who passed) we requested 2 in yellow gold. He created them for us in less than 2 weeks and for a lot less money than I had expected. Wonderful jewelry store.

This place is the BEST kept secret in Jacksonville!! So completely satisfied with service and cost. I was referred to this shop by a jewelry store in the mall. Thank you. I brought in my Oniss watch for a new battery. I had previously been charged $50.00 and a 6 month wait to have my battery replaced. Took the advise from the mall employee and wow, $10.00 and work done immediately. I will recommend this business to everyone I know who needs a jeweler. Thanks again.

Truly the perfect place to buy any occaision of jewelery, cheap and affordable repairs as well. The customer service is built up of a charismatic two person team, even beyond such little workers they always get my repairs on time. Their collection of coins, silver and gold as well makes good investment opprotunities.

This is one jewelry store that I always feel comfortable leaving my jewelry, to get repaired. The staff is always courteous and warm. There are no dumb questions to them. I took a diamond ring I was not wearing, and they designed a beautiful necklace that I wear all the time. Now I am searching my jewelry box for other pieces that are not my style any more, so they can make something I will love. I am so glad I found this wonderful gem of a store.

I did price comparing at other jewelry stores and I saved nearly half on the ring I purchased. The people there are amazing!! They took their time and gave me the pros and cons of what I was looking for. I got a higher quality diamond and smaller diamonds that matched. Well worth the time to stop in and talk to them.

I went to this jewelry store because they advertised same-day service and they didnt disappoint. I told them I only had three hours in Jacksonville and they told me no problem. My three pieces of jewelry were fixed in time. The customer service was excellent. Prices for repair were very good. My mom also had a ring guard put on a ring. She went to three other jewelry stores and they wouldnt touch it. They had one on in 5 minutes. I would definitely go back.

Absolutely amazing service. They are completely honest! I brought my vintage engagement ring there to get it resized and it was done the next day and it was perfect and only cost $25. After, I brought my matching vintage wedding band there to fix it. There was a diamond missing, the prongs were damaged and the band was very thin. They told us it would probably be around two weeks and around $100 (absolutely amazing price, had it quoted by Kay Jewelers and they said $500). Two days later we got the phone call that the ring was done and it was only $55! Great place! I highly suggest it.

Do yourself a favor and don’t even think of go in this hideous establishment I was rudely told that he did not have time for me! As he ends a long swig of his fat soda. This Lou fellow called me a slang name and said he didn’t have time for me. The last thing a business owner wants is to ask customers to leave the store. He had no idea what I was really in there to buy. Please take your business to Reeds or Bradley jewelers or any other place than this horrible pathetic excuse for a public establishment!

They did an ultmost amazing job resizing my wedding ring set! Im very happy with my rings and how they look. I recommend this place to anyone!

HONEST PEOPLE!I brought an engagment ring it to have sized, they called me 20 minutes later to let me know that the diamond had been cracked, and that they wouldnt feel comfortable sizing it in case that the crack would split the diamond. I truely appreciate their honesty, rather than trying to make a buck off someone and ruining their jewelry. Prices are reasonable (however I was quoted a very low price from Louie and then a $25 dollar difference when I brought it in and a woman there quoted. But still both quotes were reasonable and wouldve paid the extra $25 anyway!).

I took my husbands Nixon watch here to have the battery replaced. They told me that the watch guy was not in so I would have to wait a few days to come back and pick it up but it would only cost me $8, which I thought was a good deal. When I picked it up, it worked great but a month or so later it started to act up. It was not keeping time right. It would stop and start again. Once we moved back home we took it to our regular jewelry repair man and he informed us that the last guy who replaced the battery shoved the WRONG battery in it and it exploded causing all the things in it to become dirty and jammed. They could have ruined my husbands $200 watch by being irresponsible. Really?? How hard is it to change a battery? And if they didnt have the battery for his watch, then they shouldnt have shoved a different one into it. Im glad we dont live in NC anymore because if we did I would go down there and give them a piece of my mind.I also took a ring into them when I dropped off the watch to get it appraised and they told me it was only worth $400. I went to get a second opinion because it has a fairly large ruby in it and 2 diamonds. I took it into Harris Jewelers and the guy there whose been fabricating jewelry for over 20 years told me just the ruby alone was worth over $3,500. They dont know what they are doing there. Or maybe they do and theyre just ripping people off. If you care about your things dont take it to them. Youve been warned.

Horrible experience with the manager

I went to the Corner Jewler because my engagment ring and my band was given to me by my mother. They were my great great grandmother, and every lady in the family has worn them since. Well the ring was too small and I didnt like the band but NOBODY around town could help me. So I stopped in there and with hopes of something since my wedding is in 3weeks! So the lady at the desk was super sweet and knew she could size and shine up the orginal band. But I wanted another band to go with it, which I couldnt find anywhere since the ring is older. In 20 mintues I had a band that worked perfectly and also they had my ring sized the same day!! They were also super super sweet to my two year old daughter!! THANK YOU CORNER JEWLER!!!(: You guys are the best!!
