Dennis is AWESOME. He is very knowledgeable. I brought a vintage Randall RG100es to him that was having issues. Few days it was fixed good as new. He also fixed the footswitch, and had me bring my cab in so he could look it over. Price was more than fair, so I tipped him as well. He is the only person I trust with my amps and effects from now on. 10/10 from me.

Dennis repaired the right channel and cleaned my Rotel RX 2001 inside and out.. Told me it would take about a week, was more like 4 or 5 days. Notified me when it was ready as well as texted a picture of the completed project. The receiver appears to be in excellent condition since the repair and I would definitely use his services again. Very professional and quick service.

Amazing! Brought a 20 yr old bass amp here that had been tragically abused by a former owner. It needed a fair amount of work, but 13 days later it was ready (ahead of schedule!) and it sounds better than ever. Quality work at a great price! If you need repairs, this is THE place to go.

I bought a used Peavey 6505 + combo tube guitar amp that sounded muddy and tired and had few controls that did not work. Took it to Dennis at Audio 3000, and he went through the whole amp completely repaired everything, replaced tubes and set biases, performed factory recommend upgrades, checked and resoldered all connections and tuned the amp. What I got back is one one of the best sounding tube guitar amps Ive ever played through. Just amazing. Perfect, tube tone. From screaming over driven metal distortion to beautiful clean tones, it just turned out perfect. Even had an issue after picking up the amp that wasnt quite right and Dennis immediately brought the amp back to correct it. Extremely professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Audio 3000.

I googled Audio 3000 over a year or so back and read some bad reviews and was a little concerned but as with any business you get people that cant be satisfied. My Pioneer SX 1250 was needing some caps replaced, cleaning, tuning and a general overall tune up and check out.My hope is to keep this unit for another 25 years then be buried in it.Dennis is responsive, answered his phone, texted me back promptly etc... over all excellent communication.Requires a $50.00 check out fee, cash, take cash.He is extremely knowledgeable and pleasant to talk to. I would have enjoyed hanging out in the shop watching him check this monster receiver out.He took the time to explain the benefits of selecting a receiver to keep long term and which of my rigs to dispose of (sell). He was proactive and did the work and ordered parts etc... and just got it all back running great. And it sounds better then I ever knew it could.Dennis comes across as old school to me and if you have good stuff and want it fixed right, just take it there and let him do his work.I would recommend him and have already dropped my second rig and turn table off for round two. Thanks

I have a Pioneer SX-737 I purchased new on December 31st, 1975 at Standard Sales here in Jax FL (Still have the receipt). Ive kept it safe and in a climate controlled environment over the years. Recently I got it all hooked back up to use and it had issues with the volume control popping real bad, and losing a channel. I took it to Audio 3000 and a few days later (to my surprise) It was ready for pickup. Folks let me tell you, it rocks my Marantz Speakers that I bought the same day of the 737. I cant believe the power this amp has !! Seems never like this before !! So cool to have something that is now going on 46 years old that works and plays so well ! LOL Im more ecstatic now when I got it hooked up and playing again a few days ago, than back on Dec, 31st 1975 !!!!Highly Recommend Audio 3000 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dennis did a great job reviving my Peavey Ultra Plus head. I brought it in with a few issues, and he had them ironed out in no time! He was excellent with communication during my inquiries about his service, and was very thorough in explaining what he found wrong in my amp, and what he did to not only fix, but improve the overall amp. He clearly goes above and beyond for clients with each of his repairs, and is a great person to talk amps and tech with! Id highly recommend him for your tube amp repair needs!

This is the second time I have used your expertise on the repair and restoration of my vintage Pioneer equipment. On this occasion it was for work on my SA-9100 and PL-540. Once home, I could not wait to hear how they would sound. The first record was a live recording from Ben Folds and it was outstanding. I dont remember this sounding so good! You now have my SX-727, which hasnt been in service for quite some time. I can only imagine how good it is going to sound and look. For anyone looking for a reliable and honest person to work on their vintage equipment, I do not hesitate to recommend Dennis.

I’d prefer to support local businesses, but I now question why...The first call was a terrible experience when I was simply inquiring about a new stylus for my record player and some general guidance/advice to help ID the unit, cartridge, stylus. Very Disinterested, short, and hung up on me after just a couple questions. I gave him the benefit of the doubt that maybe it was just a bad day. I called a week later to inquire about servicing an older record changer. Again, The owner is Rude, condescending, and gives false information that parts are no longer available. When I noted a source of these parts he could access, he again just hung up on me. It appears there is Zero interest in helping and treats you like you’re an inconvenience. It is clear he does not want your business. My advice, support someone else. Online I found very helpful people that share the same interest and passion for vintage record player as well as being nice to your fellow man! God bless this man and whatever it is he is going through.

Brought a newly purchased Marshall DSL40C to Dennis at Audio 300 to be repaired as the amp would just scream with a hum noise and wouldn’t work.Dennis had it 2 days and identified the issues, fixed 2 cracked PC boards, replaced the power tubes, screen resistors, and cleaned up all the connections and set the bias. Now? This amp SCREAMS!I saw a lot of reviews on here saying that he’s “rude” or “not personable”. First of all, do you want Mr Personality that’s going to blow smoke up your butt? Or do you want a no BS, straight forward tech that’s going to get the job done?Personally Dennis was very nice to me, and very accommodating. He’s the only one that will be touching my gear from now on... thanks Dennis!

I took my keyboard to the repairman at Audio 3000 and I was charged a $50. non refundable diagnosis fee. He had my keyboard for a week and then I was called and told that it was beyond any repair because of its age. That parts were not available. Two weeks later a friend told me to take it to the Jaydon Electronics. They also charged a non refundable diagnosis fee but the difference is they located the parts necessary to repair my board. I feel as though I was taken for the $50.00....!

This place is great. On the phone the first time he was rough and straightforward, not a bad thing. He did try hard to convince me not to bring my receiver in but simply because he thought it was like Im sure so many 250.00 receivers that are not worth replacing a knob on. He does not want to waste your money or his time, again certainly not a bad thing either. Once he saw and looked into my model and it was indeed worth fixing, he was very accommodating and honest. He went through the entire unit and damn near refurbed it and repaired items I had forgotten to mention. He told me it would be 2 weeks before hed look at it and it was finished in 10 days for a price half of what I expected. He went over the unit with and even expressed concern I would not be happy because if any of the boards failed there were no replacements. I am here to say that his work is first rate and I am thrilled to have my wall shaker back in new condition, no receiver kept up with this and he brought it back to me.John and my da777es thank you.

Demanding, condescending, complains a lot, did work before calling with price though he promised he would call first. Took almost a month, charged too much and after listening to amp carefully after taking home, I heard it wasn’t fully repaired. When I called about remaining issues, Dennis was combative and told me to troubleshoot it myself and to swap around preamp tubes. Didnt I just pay him to repair it? Dont use this guy.

I had (2) separate experiences with Audio 3000, both of which were terrible. The first time, I was referred by several musicians, and swore Id never again return. The second time a local shop, (Chips Music) unknowing to me, used Audio 3000 to repair my amp. I would not have used Audio 3000 the second time if I had known the store was farming out tech work to this company. In both experiences I found Audio 3000s work to be sub-standard. In both of my experiences, I had to send the gear out to other technicians to repair fully. The communication from the company is poor and condescending. I was not given a repair ticket showing any work completed, even after I asked. The turnaround time was late, 3 weeks on one occasion.I find the business model, communication of owner with client and service to be some of the worst Ive ever experienced.STAY AWAY!

I called and asked them about a repair on a pair of aviation headsets. While that is not their normal area of expertise, they felt confident that they could repair my problem. I dropped off the headset and it was repaired with 1 hour and has been working fine for several flights now. I would highly recommend them and will use them if I have any electronics repair needs in the future.

The owner was definitely rude on the phone. This was the first time I called this shop. Not sure why he responded rudely to me, because I dont know him at all. A good tech, but too unstable of a person to run a business that deals with people (even out of his home). Brought him a receiver and paid the $50 bench fee up front. All of the discussion and literature states that I’d have the ability to approve any further work. Calls me a week later telling me what he had already completed the repair and that my bill was $200. I said ok, and when I showed up, tried to plainly and politely explain that I would have liked to have been ASKED if I wanted to spend $200. He dismissed that (which was shocking as it should be standard procedure). I explained again: “I’m not making this up... in the auto industry there are even laws against performing unauthorized work.” At that sentence, he snapped, and told me not to come back, that he doesn’t need me, that he doesn’t need anyone, and that he has a pension from Best Buy. A very odd experience; I’d hope at the very least he could admit performing work beyond the bench fee without authorization is not a “best practice.” He did offer to un-fix it for me, but that would just be a waste of everyone’s time, so I paid him and was on my way with my receiver and a lifetime ban for pointing out something that should have been obvious. (Note: It was a one-star experience; the second star is for the unit being fixed.)

OUTSTANDING! Dennis has repaired two old and very difficult amps to work on. The Marshall JCM 2000 TSL 122 and the Peavey Ultra Plus 2x12. Take a minute and “google” the many problems associated with the Marshall. I’d all but given up on this amp, but Dennis COMPLETELY resolved the bias drift problem at a very reasonable price…he put many hours into that amp. Now, I’m able to fully trust gigging with the TSL122. The Peavey combo amp, while a bit less problematic, was restored to flawless performance. Dennis is a master technician! I Truly, don’t understand the negative reviews. I find Dennis very pleasant and above all extremely knowledgeable, he wrote emails and called for nearly every repair step performed. One must understand that amplifier repair is highly technical and troubleshooting these systems is FAR from easy and experience counts! I’ve been playing now for well over 30 years and believe me, you won’t find an amp guy better than Dennis.
