Im a current resident.The negatives first. Half the gym is in disrepair and someone broke the backboard on the half court so no basketball so far this summer.Security gate and trash compactor is broken a great percentage of the time.The positives. Before covid there were fun community events hosted by the office. Management is good and repairs, in apartments are done pretty quickly.Dont think Ill stay if the gym remains 60%+ broken.Oh and the litter makes the property look cheap.

I just wanted to take a minute and sincerely thank the Wimberly at Deerwood staff, specifically Bree, for going above and beyond for me earlier this week. I called the office on Monday looking for an important piece of mail that may have been delivered there, as I recently moved to a new city and wasnt sure exactly where it was sent to. Minutes after I called, Bree returned my call saying the mail carrier had just delivered it, and she kindly offered to send it to me at my new address. I received it 2 days later! I cant thank her enough, it was a true lifesaver. It is good to see that friendly, helpful customer service still exists. As for the complex itself, I stayed there several years ago and enjoyed my time there as well. All in all, I highly recommend this place. Thanks again, Bree!

I have absolutely loved living here from the start!! We came in to look at the floor plans and pricing last year and we were truly welcomed and helped by Sharlene and Brie! The people who work in the office genuinely about you and what you’re looking for!! Anytime we need maintenance done, it’s done very promptly. The amenities and area is just beautiful. This is hands down one of the best places I have ever lived and I recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful place to call home!

My family and I love living here! Brie has always been so welcoming and talks to us every time she sees us around the property. We love our apartment and how at home it feels here. Maintenance always does an amazing job. The property is so beautiful and we love the pool and gym. You won’t be disappointed moving here!

Without spending time talking about specifics Im just going to say they are the Im gonna people. That also includes corporate headquarters. Again one voice mail Im gonna send an email which was never sent. Insist on being able to look at the unit that you will rent. The model that you see is not the the same as the unit that you will receive.

DONT MOVE IN THIS COMPLEX. It’s overpriced and the entire time we have lived in our unit it has been infested with cockroaches. We’ve called maintenance and they have sent out pest control over 4 times and it hasn’t gotten any better. We wake up every morning to bugs in our unit even though I clean every day. Multiple cars are getting broken in to due to the gate never being shut or fixed. Don’t move in here. Save your time and money.Any 5 start review you see on here is due to the complex bribing residents to leave 5 star reviews for prizes. Don’t be fooled.

The community is well kept and maintenance issues are tend to promptly. Since the complex is smaller than some properties they get to you quickly. The only reason I don’t give them 5 stars is because the access gate has been inoperative pretty much since we moved in 4 months ago and the lighting at night in the parking lot could be greatly improved. It is too dark in our area.Other than that the valet trash has been great, meaning no missed days. All in all it has been quite pleasant so far. Other places we’ve lived at the problem is when, and if they change the management company. They go from good to bad to worse. Wimberly.....Your formula works. Don’t sell the property.

Absolutely the best place I’ve ever rented at... the staff is so friendly, they knew me by name after my first day moved in. Maintenance is always prompt and efficient (and friendly as well). The scenery is beautiful—I love the trees everywhere, and they keep up with the landscaping regularly. They always hold community events whether at the movie theater, pool, clubhouse, or even a food truck... so sad I never got the chance to participate due to work, but I always thought it was neat that the community was so involved. I have no complaints at all and recommend Wimberly to anyone looking for a new place to call home :)

The staff in both the leasing office and maintenance department are kind, professional and caring. They respond quickly to maintenance requests and are always available to answer a question. Everyone is so friendly and nice. They have made renting here a great experience.

The Wimberly at Deerwood is an AMAZING property to live on! I lived here for 2 years and being that this was my very first apartment, they made this experience a dream. Everyone on staff is extremely helpful and courteous to any of your needs. Maintenance is always prompt and knows exactly how to fix any problem. The neighborhood feels safe and I never had any issues with any of my neighbors! If I was not moving out of state I wouldve definitely renewed my lease for a third year!

Love this community!!! Had such a beautiful home there. The maintenance staff is great and so is Rob and the Melissa. Apartment was in great condition and all service requests were always addressed in a timely manner. Loved it so much we might consider moving back!!! I have lived here since October 2019. Its a quiet peaceful gated community. They have a lot of social events, which was fantastic for meeting our neighbors. So far no issues with the property manager or any of the staff. Maintenance is very timely with fixing any issues. My bf and I have already decided to renew our lease when the time comes. I highly recommend Wimberly!

I haven’t moved in as of yet. But Brie is absolutely amazing I had to have called her maybe 50times with questions and not one single time did she have an attitude or act as if she did not want to assist me. And the layout for these apartments are gorgeous!!!!

I currently am a resident here at Wimberley at Deerwood apartments and moved in December 2018.I haven’t had any discrepancies whatsoever they have such an amazing leasing team ESPECIALLY BRIE she is very knowledgeable and her professionalism is off the charts! & their maintenance always responds fast and gets the job done 100% satisfied every time. The property itself is so quiet and peaceful as well as a great location! I hope this is helpful to anyone who is looking into this property overall 10/10 recommended.Thank you team Wimberly at Deerwood y’all are the BEST!

We love our new home at the Wimberly. Brie made our transition from a family house to a single bedroom apartment much more pleasant than I could have imagined! Great staff, awesome amenities, & a perfect location with a lot of local perks. Highly recommended!

The best place to live! Even though it is an apartment complex -- the Leasing Office Team & Maintenance crew make you feel like family! Always clean, friendly neighbors, near restaurants and outings, and the apartments themselves are spacious with great appliances!What I love most about this place is that the Leasing Office Team and Maintenance are always quick to assist with any repairs or questions that I have had.If you have pets they have dog parks within the complex and plenty of areas that your pets will be able to get fresh air.Overall -- this place feels like home because of the attention to detail this complex gives to each of their residents! You will never feel like a number but a valued person to this Wimberly community!

The Wimberly is a great place to live! Bri is so helpful and nice! I would recommend to people looking for a nice apartment for your family to look at the Wimberly. Definitely felt welcomed the minute I first stepped in the Leasing office. The staff is great, and were very helpful in doing anything they can in making you feel at home. The property is beautiful and well-maintained, with close proximity to almost everything, and at the same time, having the tranquility of being on a nature preserve.

I have been fully satisfied since I moved in. So far maintainance and staff has been wonderful and always open to assist me whenever and however. It’s amazing to feel like royalty here at my new home. I love it. Everything about it. Shout out to the Wimberly at Deerwood Staff. You guys are amazing

Not the best value for your money. Parking is Awful, Noisy, Not that safe, and got to love all the roaches. Ive lived in several other apartments in FL and Ive seen more roaches and insects here than any other place Ive lived before. For the price, its wayyy over rated.

I lived here with my wife and my dog for one year. Overall it was a good stay. It is a quiet oasis in the midst of a very commercialized area. We lucked out as we had a nice view of the woods nearby. I found it to be a great place for my dog since there were access to two different dog parks. The pool area is also nicer than most other apartment complexes in the area.However there were a few issues that I think could improve the place. For the price we paid monthly, I expected the dog park in the back of the community to be better maintained. My wife and I used to call it the “mud pit.” Secondly, the retention ponds in the neighborhood were gross with algae blooms and litter.Finally, they are really strict about charging you for everything upon move out. We kept the place really clean but did not get our deposit back and had to pay over $120 after leaving the place better than when we moved in. Would have given 4/5 stars if not for the unreasonable charges.

All I got to say is how amazing the staff at Wimberly at Deerwood apartments are. They are TOPNOTCH excellence and superb with their accommodations especially during these hard times we are all going through nation and world wide. I have lived in the apartment complex since last February and I have nothing but great things to say about the staff and their responsiveness. Dealing with both the team in the office and the maintenance crew has been nothing short of excellent. I have never had to wait more than 48 hours for a non-urgent service request and even less time for more pressing requests. Thanks for making my first year in Jacksonville a happy one!

I normally rate things I like a 4/5 because theres always room for improvement. Since I moved here in October of 2019 Ive grown to like the area and the property more and more. Plenty of social events including dinners, trivia and movies - all hosted by the property staff which are kind and attentive.

My husband and I havent made a decision on housing yet but just from the phone call I had with Rob the property manager, I can already tell this place is different from the rest. He was super accommodating, informative, and personable and because of him this will definitely be on the top of our search list for the move!

My boyfriend and I moved into Wimberly at Deerwood in March 2019. It is our first apartment experience and so far, it has been great. The area is quiet (even though we are so close to busy Southside Blvd), has many nice residents, fun events, and our unit has a lovely view of a pond. We have not had any negative experiences. The office and maintenance staff are wonderful people who work hard for the community and strive to make Wimberly a wonderful place to call home.

Current resident, moved in May 2019. Property is excellent, and the management and maintenance staff are always quick to communicate and respond to everyone who lives here. Grounds are continually kept up with regards to grass, trees and debris. I moved into this apartment without seeing it in person first, as there are so many other options in the area, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with my decision.The pool area is fantastic and is hardly overcrowded. With a large gazebo that has a grill to use, which can accommodate a large gathering. Two dog parks to let your pups run around, and the pond views are very relaxing...to break the monotony of city dwelling.Shoutout to Brie, who was very helpful in making it a comfortable transition and move-in for me since I moved up from South Florida. Her customer service is super prompt, and puts in extra effort to care for the residences of this community.

The apartment is fine and the people are cooperarive and very friendly. I had to break the lease early to move out to my new house, and the complex manager (Rob) did an excellent job to find an amicable solution to the situation I were in.

I had a great experience at Wimberly at Deerwood. When apartment hunting I just happened to stumble upon the complex and Im so lucky I did. My apartment was clean and neighbors were quiet. The staff was very courteous and went above and beyond to make everybody feel welcome. One morning I left for work and they were even handing out little breakfast goodiebags to everyone leaving. So thoughtful. All maintenance requests and pest control was done in a quick and timely manner. Also, the location was great. My apartment was always the meeting location for my friends since it was so centrally located and tons to do in St. Johns Town Center.

Living at the Wimberly has been a very positive and warming experience. The staff and other residents are welcoming and extremely helpful. The apartments are well maintained and spacious. Although I rarely had to call maintenance, they were always prompt and able to solve all of my requests. The pool is by far one of my favorite amenities. The location is positioned perfectly to access Saint Johns Town Center and Tinseltown. Additionally, the area always proved to be very safe, especially during my early morning and late night runs down Touchton Rd and Gate Parkway.The only complication I every experienced was due to parking. My advice is to rent a garage if living in the apartments near the entrance.Overall, I highly recommend these apartments.

It is refreshing to know that a property like Wimberly at Deerwood exists. My husband and I moved to Wimberly February 2018. The management is superb and the property is well maintained. I love that they offer events throughout the month for residents. Very pet friendly. Beautiful property.

Definitely do not come here to live, there are much better options in the immediate area like Il Villagio or the Montreaux (which actually have security guards 24/7). Security here is non existent, there are constant breakins, burglaries, and a dead person in the parking lot with JSO involved last week. Bob the property mismanager is out of touch and believes sending an email informing residents of all the security threats and criminal incidents constitutes some sort of actual security.

I am currently living here and absolutely love it!The entire community is very peaceful and well kept. The floor plans are very nice and spacious, the amenities are amazing! The pool is always clean and so is the hot tub, the gym is well maintained, the movie theater is also very well kept and lots of fun if you want to use it.One of the things that also drew me here, was the customer service from the staff. Every single one of them was welcoming and friendly. If there is ever a maintenance request, it is fixed the very next day unless it happens to be an emergency.I am absolutely in love with my apartment, it is perfect. Not to mention it is close to EVERYTHING! I would recommend to anyone!

I had a great experience living at Wimberly! My apartment was comfortable and the community was nice.Matt who works in the front office is awesome! He knew exactly what to do to fix my gym key, and he was always happy to help me or anyone else that walked in. After I moved out I had a package sent to my old address at Wimberly by mistake and Matt personally helped me retrieve it right before the front office closed for the day. While helping me we also helped a FedEx delivery driver with a very heavy package up to the second floor of one of the buildings, which I thought was very nice of him to do. He also rescued a cat from a tree! The part about the cat didnt happen but I bet he would rescue it if it did.This place may be smaller in size compared to other apartment complexes, but this allows for them to provide a more focused support experience for their tenants. My AC unit conked out a couple times after hours and on the weekend and the repair man still came to fix it on the same day.Overall my stay here was great and I would recommend this place to anyone interested.

Lived here for a while. I do not recommend this community at all. Roaches are your neighbors, I hope you dont mind the German cockroaches . They will be your new friends. When you move out they will hit you with fees galore! carpet cleaning, excessive water bill, and if your place is not spotless when you move out youre getting a $400 fee. People drive way to fast around the campus. Was almost hit by car dozens of times. Gate is the worst, never works. And theres always random people roaming the campus that dont live there. Neighbors are generally rude and standoffish. Management does not care about tenants, they are just there to make money off of you....

We moved our only son after he finished college to Wimberly at Deerwood - April 2011. We loved how beautiful it was from the outside (clean, well groomed landscape) and found the inside to be just as beautiful and well maintained. From the first day he moved in until my sons move out day in June 2019, we found the staff to be professional, caring, and helpful. In particular, the office personnel but also the repairmen, etc. The amenities were wonderful and the programs offered from volleyball, movie nights, barbeques, allowed our son the opportunity to meet others and develop friends, which was great since we were such a long ways away. I want to personally thank the staff for being there for him these 8 years. I highly recommend Wimberly at Deerwood, Jax, Florida to anyone looking for an excellent place to live. .....Grateful

My husband and I have lived here going on 3 years now. We just moved into a bigger apartment and the staff made the transition easy for us. We have a dog and the staff always make the attempt to say hi to our boy and give him love. Close to Tinseltown and the town center, about a 10 min drive with traffic but longer during rush hour. Maintenance is absolutely superb! They are always willing to fix what needs to be fixed ASAP! I really wouldn’t go anywhere else. I don’t want to. I’m perfectly happy here and will be sad to leave when we find a house. Thank you guys for all you do!

Me and My buddy Jim were roommates there. This was the worst renting experience Ive ever had folks. The maintenance staff is mostly great. But the rest of the place not so nice. Noisy neighbors, Crazy drivers, people stole my stuff, cops were always being called, a lot of domestic disturbance issues, the quality of the stuff in the apartment is substandard. You would think this place is in the ghetto of the south-side rather than the nice part. This place is like the new ghetto of Jacksonville. Id rather just get a little bungalow and be on my own.

Really enjoyed living here! ...Of all the places I lived since I moved out of familys house (about 5 or 6) this one was the best. Pretty surroundings. Nice staff. Pretty home. Great location. Minimal bugs. Like... very few. I saw 2 in a whole yr. Pest control here is very good. (Ive lived in Florida for over 30 years. Literally nothing can be done about these bugs. Every building in the state gets them. So the fact that they have almost none here, is fantastic.) Trash pickup is awesome. Pool area is very nice.Cons:• neighbors are pretty d*mn rude, dont look at you or speak to you. Lotta arrogant people.• strangers & non-residents wander, and OPEN YOUR CAR AND RUMMAGE THROUGH YOUR SH***T!!! This place needs more security.• the gate never works, and is a pain in the a***ss.• everyone else on here seems to agree with me: the PARKING PROBLEM must be fixed. Its atrocious.

I was looking for an apartment while deployed overseas, and messaged several apartment communities during that time. I explained to each, that I did not have phone service and needed as much info thru email as possible. This is the only place that not only listened to my request, but also answered each and every question 100%. To me, that said something because it meant the staff cares and makes time for every client. When I came to visit the property when I returned from deployment, I found everything exactly as they described. I feel the price is great for the amount of amenities they provide, compared to other communities I looked at. Sure there are always some minor discrepancies when moving into a new apartment. Mine had a drawer that didn’t open all the way on a cabinet. But once I notified them, they promptly came and corrected the issue. I have not noticed any insect problems in my home. They even offer valet trash disposal 5 days a week. Overall I have been more satisfied with this apartment than any other I’ve ever lived in. Shoutout to Brie who helped me every step of the way, and always kept in contact when I needed her. She is a gem!!

Please be ready to live with the big cockroaches. The guy from leasing office told me “this is Florida, and the big cockroach is not harmful, they just got lost.” I get it, but this is the sixth one I found in my room, and they have already send the pest control guys here two or three times. I don’t want to be gross, but it is what it is.

Wimberly has been a great place for me the past 2 years. The office staff and mananger are top of the line. They care about you and your needs. The maintenance guys also work hard and always on time.

Moved to Wimberly for the 2nd time after having a good experience before the 2 years we were here. With the change of property managers, the community wasnt the same. I thought the lack of grass in many areas, the waste of water with broken sprinklers, a huge amount of dog waste, security gate not working and having to pay for trash service without using the trash service were huge negatives. Not able to comply with the hours because of work but still having to pay monthly. No negotiation. Just be aware to keep the apartment pristine or you will be charged for normal wear. I will say, though, the maintenance guys are fantastic. They have been there for years and those times my a/c wasnt working at 1 am, they came. Super guys. However, I wont be moving back for the 3rd time. Felt too much corporate not community.

I had the pleasure of calling The Wimberley at Deerwood my home for a little over 14 years. The staff, location and community are Truly heads above the rest. Rob, Matthew, Mike, Rodney and Keeko are outstanding. They not only take care of management/property issues they take the time to build relationships, They know you by name not just appartment number. They are a cross between Cheers, where everybody knows your name... and the Golden Girls, Thank you for being a friend.... I will Truly miss each and everyone of the guys. They have Blessed my life in one way or another and I will forever keep them in my Prayers.Warmest and Best Regards!!!!

This place is absolutely terrible unless you are placed in the far back if you are apart of the first five apartment building it is extremely noisy with beeping every morning and every afternoon. everything in this apartment has broke or was already broken. The blinds fall off, The lights leak fluid, The cover of the outlets fall off, and the staff is extremely lazy. Bugs everywhere

We have been here for almost a year and absolutely love it. The office staff is awesome if there is a problem they address it right away. Mantance is fabulous as well. Got to say this is the best apt we have ever lived in.

The staff went above and beyond to get us approved. So thankful. Always so friendly and professional. The clubhouse is gorgeous, likewise the pool area. Always clean, accommodates and gives everyone space to enjoy. The rent is a bit high but the area is flawless. Next to Southside Blvd which takes me anywhere in minutes. Around there corner from the Town Center. 12 minutes from my favorite beach. I walk to the movie theater. I lived in San Marco before Wimberly, I thought Id never get over living downtown, but Wimberly has marked a very special place in my heart and mind. Move here lol. God bless

Horrendous living experience. If I could give this place -negative 5 stars I would. Overpriced. Pests. I would not wish this abysmal experience in anyone.

I move to Wimberly form NY and it quickly became home with kind neighbors and great friends in the office! It is one of the nicest looking communities in the area and walking distance to dozens of restaurants, shopping centers and entertainment.

I just moved into the apartments Wimberly at Deerwood in Southside Jacksonville back in March, and so far everything has been wonderful. The staff has been more than helpful. I even started taking Zumba and I absolutely love it! Shayna is great, she really knows how to make a comfortable and inviting environment! My friends and I are hooked. If youre into having fun, while feeling sexy and working up a sweat, I highly recommend!

Place has really gone downhill since purchased by Olympus. If you see older reviews about how great the staff is, they’re the same people but not they now act completely differently and they, like too many Jax apartment communities, will want above and beyond the deposit at lease termination. The grounds have too much dog poop and your pooch has a decent chance of at least experiencing worms while living here. Also, it’s more safe to go further east on Gate as this is too close to Southside and has not so great neighborhoods on the other side of the apartment walls. Don’t walk away from here, run!!

This is not a place you would want to call home at all! I called to receive information about the community and Brie answered the phone. He was completely rude and unprofessional.I asked him questions specific to the community and his responses were very nasty. A phone call is the first impression I had about this community and I will never recommend this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy. DO NOT LIVE HERE!

Parking is really bad. Its so bad you have to buy a garage. theres a lot of people parking at the wimberly who dont live here. they leave their cars here for days. People have stolen my packages here, on many occasions. theres a lot of homeless people going up and down touchton now . I would not rent here if I were you. I will not renew my lease.

Mold. This place has a serious mold problem. I think its from the hurricanes or maybe its been here since the beginning. But this is no joke, no lie there mold in many of the buildings. Management does not even acknowledge the problem like they are covering up a murder or some BS.

I like the general manager, but this place loves to hit you with fees more than it used to. Also, I hope they get rid of the valet trash service. The old one used to be better, I liked the benches, but would be happy without it entirely.EDIT: Still not happy about the fees so I took off more stars.EDIT2: Sent an email with the idea that we could split the fee but they did not respond.EDIT3: They put lights on the volleyball court. I like the improvement. Adding stars!

Building #9 has mold and water damage problems. ! NO ME GUSTA WIMBERLY AT DEERWOOD ! Sinks in Kitchen leak water in all units. it causes bacteria build up around the sink. it made me sick and made me break out into a rash. bacteria is not harmless it is very dangerous to humans. NO ME GUSTA LA WIMBERLY AT DEERWOOD !!!!!

Ill tell ya... I had the worst renting experience of my life at TW@D. Well, I lived on the second floor, underneath me was a garage for other residents. Every time that garage opened... It felt like there was an EARTH QUAK in sunny 🌞 florida. That old Rob guy didnt tell me that when I moved in.. I parked my car outside in the lott. I parked under their scenic trees for about a year. Little did I know these particular Florida trees leave these acidic type of leaves that will ruin the clearcoat on your car. So dont park under a tree! Theyll ruin your point job. Thanks wimberrrrrrrly . My kitchen sink always ran extra water and the water build up on the sink caused a bacteria sespool that I had to clean up weekly. Thanks wimberrrrrly. did they fix it, no! ThAnks wimberly. My floorboards were weak n wobbly. did they fix it? Nope 👎thumbs down. Thanks wimberly. If you use Amazon, dont expect to receive your packages your neighbours will steal them. Clean, safe and I truely feel they care about me. Staff are friendly, proffessional and welcoming. The grounds are kept update and every place is well lit at night. Thats important.

Wimberly is obviously being trolled on here by some disgruntal resident. I have been living at Wimberly for 4 years now and have never felt so at home living in apartments. Shayna helped me when I first moved in and she has been so pleasant to work with and I love her Zumba classes and her big warm smile. Maintenance is quick to respond and always very detailed when completing any work in my home. When I had bugs in my apartment, The manager Rob came over to my apartment himself to see what type it was and went above and beyond to help fix the issue and communicated along the way. Now I make sure I’m on pest control once a month so the issue does not reaccure. they offer pervenatives like the weekly pest control and trash pick up to help with the fact that Florida is a buggy state. Matt and Bree in the office are always helpful as well. It is a warm welcoming atmosphere every time I go to the office and I am happy to be a resident at Wimberly. Thank you for all you do for me and my family! You rock!

Unfortunately what Wimberly was and what it currently is are not one and the same. They have gone from bad to worse. In the past month the complex changed owners and the processes particularly with regard to waste management have taken a toll. There use to be benches permanently stationed outside the units that are now replaced with garbage bins that are required to be brought into the home and placed outside at specific times and days. Fees will be assessed if the schedule is not followed whether you are home or not. Tenants are not properly spread throughout the complex. The building we live in has absolutely no parking available throughout the night. Residents are forced to park in non-designated parking spaces and are issued warnings by the maintenance police that their vehicles will be towed. Other buildings on the opposite end of the complex provide ample parking with significantly fewer residents. The complexs amenities seem ample but the pool is oftentimes preoccupied with rowdy children that do not live at the complex. They arrive the moment the staff leaves and leave the complex shortly before the night watchman arrives to close the pool area. I confronted several of the children on numerous occasion and indicated that they ought not be there and was simply given a response to the tune of we dont give a f**** what you say. The barbecue station has not functioned properly since our arrival nine months ago and the entrance gates are left open throughout the night multiple days over each month. We planned on staying for several years and now strongly anticipate the day our lease ends.

Dont Move here. Anywhere else is better. This place is a complete joke

I lived at Wimberly for two years and the first year was ok. Year two was awful!! The gate barley works therefore if you’re looking for a gated community this is not it. The gate even messed up my boyfriend bmw and management did nothing about it. The outside stairways looks disgusting and oh you will have roaches.When you move out they hit you with all kinds of fees so be prepared for $500 final bill.

Live here. Ive been in 6 apartments, 6 different places. Saw this one and moved in without checking out anything else in jax. Place is solid. Lived here 2 years. Maintenance staff is on point. Once the handyman on staff literally knocked on my door to tell me hed fixed something before I had finished typing the request. I am not kidding. He had seen that the AC port on the building had frost on the bottom, identified the problem, and fixed it before I could finish asking him to do it.Its priced well, the administrators actually care about the place and the people. Had so many good memories in that place I actually cried when I closed the lease and sat in the car to leave. Never done that before.Got to call it the Wimmmmmmmmberly at Deerwud though, like youre some british lord. Thats the best. ;)Seriously. Good place.

I could do with about half the speed bumps. Or better yet, replace them all with speed tables; I feel like my cars going to fall apart.Apartments are nice, location is great. Maintenance concerns are taken care of pretty quickly. The comment about the fees is real. I like that they combine the rent and utility bills, but they dont add them until the first day of the month. So if you want to pay rent early, you have to cut another check for the utilities after the first or be late, and likewise if you dont pay the rent in the first three days of the month you get a nastygram on your door.

I honestly cant think of anything bad to say. I love where I live.

BEWARE!!!! This place has FRIENDLY staff that do NOTHING! They have ROACHES and BAD MANAGEMENT. I have been complaining for months and NOTHING has been done. Also, the people above us has been stomping and jumping and MANAGEMENT HAS DONE NOTHING ABOUT IT. I hate this place and would NEVER suggest anyone move-in here. Lastly, if you call corporate, you will get NOTHING from them. This place is just a bad place all around. Look elsewhere.

Clean, great staff, very attentative to your needs, facilities are well maintained by a great crew.They could get rid of valet trash, however, and reorganize garages so that theu are closer to your residence, it would require some work for both staff and residents, but would be beneficial, lastly, the gate. The gate is one of the amentaties that led me to leasing. Petty theft is getting worse day by day in jacksonville, and a gate helps to deter these individuals. This is a big one for me. It needs to be closed as promised upon leasing.With those minor exceptions aside, the staff is always friendly and will always throw you a wave, as will other residents. It reall feels like home.

Everyone who wrote a negative review obviously knows nothing. Ive lived in ALOT of apartments in my lifetime and this one HAS to be one of the BEST if not THE best. For those complaining about roaches its 1 of 2 things. Either you are a slob and despite pest control you give the roaches food to eat and places to hide try cleaning up and then complain because Ive lived in apartments with roaches and its usually the messy neighbor who invites them.I had seen a few running around my apartment and Im not a super OCD neat freak but I DO NOT leave food around or messy clothes piles or other things that invite roaches. Once pest control did their thing havent seen em since. Though I will note that I have some messy slobs for neighbors so I can easily see where they came from or where they still are. A while ago the property changed owners and the new valet trash isnt that great. Its a tiny 13 gallon bin that they want you to leave outside from 6 - 8 pm and then take it inside afterwards. Honestly this isnt a big problem but I liked the old valet trash better I could throw 2 or 3 13 gallon trash bags in it and a few pizza boxes. Of course I never let that much trash build up but just saying how much more it used to hold was better.Also complaints about the gates is pretty dumb. Those things go through constant daily use and is subject to the weather. Any mechanical/electrical device will wear down and break under such conditions especially Florida weather. Pretty much ANY and ALL apartment complexes with gates have the SAME problem. Besides its not like the gate keeps out intruders, I see people climb the gate or use the walk in gate off to the side. All the actual gate would do is prevent an unwanted guest in a car.The pool is great and the gym is nice and convenient, Im not sure what people are complaining about it being messy, everytime Ive used it the place has been clean. The neighborhood is super quiet at night all you hear is the crickets and insects so you will sleep soundly here. Honestly people who come to luxury apartments are so spoiled and expect everything to be given to them and perfect. They rate this place so badly and I challenge them to live in a real sh**hole like Summer Oak Apartments off of Arlington for about a month or two then tell me this place is terrible.I ENCOURAGE ANYONE who can afford the price that THIS IS the place for YOU to live. Everything is nearby which is super convenient, the St Johns Town Center is a 3 - 5 min drive away and Tinseltown is quite literally a 2 in drive heck a 10 minute walk from here. This place is almost the crown jewel of Southside. The staff were super friendly when I first came here a year ago and showed me exactly what I was looking for. The ONLY reason Im leaving is because Im not overly fond of my current roommate who has ruined this place not to mention Im not making as much money as I used to. Otherwise Id stay here until I bought a house.

Floorplans are okay albeit small for any more than two people, had granite countertops, plus location is decent. Neighbors are wild with cops arriving numerous times. Seven speed bumps just to get to my building which was not even halfway in the complex. New increased rent of apartments do not meet the quality expected at that price point. Was consistently charged for the propertys responsibilities and their own upgrades, and at an outrageous amount at that. Had to constantly fight management about these charges which were dropped by them. Never fixed my issues brought to them. Rude staff in addition, particularly one thin, middle aged blonde of whom I dont know the name.

I pay over $1100 a month in rent and Im being forced to live with roaches. Ive complained to management over several months and nothing has been done about it. Pest control never comes out and sprays for the bugs. The people living above us make noise all throughout the night and when I have to wake up for morning that is so ignoring. I have complained to management SEVERAL time and even called the corporate location that NEVER gets anything done either. The manager has blew me off several times and LIES a lot. I would NEVER tell anyone to stay here and think you look somewhere else.

Great staff and amenities! With in 2 miles of everything youd basically every need.
